What a great place. Ice cream was really good and their specialty coffee and teas. We went two nights in a row. There was a server there (I wish I could remember her name) who was fantastic! She was friendly, funny and very informative.

J.P Licks in Marketplace Lynnfield is a delicious place to stop in while walking around shopping!Highly recommended to try the chocolate frappes they have to offer here!The scenery is beautiful and very clean, they also have restrooms indoors.The building is all glass so you have a scenic view of marketplace.

Excellent ice cream and homemade whipped cream. Love their hot fudge and peanut butter sauce. Super thick! Only downside is the price. . At $9.00 for what is a smallish sundae. Good for a treat once in a while though. The service.could be slightly better. I mean for $9 ice cream, a smile and friendliness goes a LONG way, but were talking about teenagers so. . Dont expect a lot.🙄🤷‍♀️😅

Great premium ice cream with wonderful flavors. They also make ice cream cakes. I had a Mango Freeze made with mango sorbet and soda water. It was very refreshing.

The Best pistachio ice cream ever without all the green food coloring. THE BEST! Be careful though, the portions are HUGE. Maple walnut was to die for also... Were hooked!

Wish there was a better choice and/or arrangement for eating outside the store...especially when it is cool, damp, and a little drizzle of rain... I guess its really a sunny/warm kind day food/dessert to eat! ... rather there was a better way/choice for year round! *****The Ice cream is excellent!

The yogurt is awful. Not creamy or even edible. I ended up throwing mine out. It taste like chemicals. The coffee yogurt taste like coffee grinds and the mint one the flavor is barely there. They don’t give you much and the prices are SKY high. Nothing special about this place except convienance if your at the market which I why I think it’s the only reason they are still open. Went a couple times and when I left I felt ripped off. How can a place charge so much for an ice Cream?? Rip off. The girls that work there never smile and barely say hello. Don’t care to go back. There’s nothing special there that Richardson’s or your local shop has. Others are way better. No thanks

Coffee Chip Hard Yogurt very good. Wife had a custom made Lixwich (ice cream sandwich) which was incredible and made with love.

I used to love love Brighams rum raisin ice cream. Ive tried many rum raisin ice cream and nothing had come close but finally found this one to replace my Brighams. It is so delicious!! Cant be beat. My children have tried other flavors and they love them all too. But for me, I only buy rum raisin. Thats the only ice cream worth the calories to me.

Okay so i don’t know the girls name who made my coffee but for the managers to see this, she is so sweet. she made my coffee amazing, i got a caramel macchiato with either coconut milk or almond milk with a brownie. not only did she make my coffee so good, but she’s the sweetest. if you’re reading this, you rock!!

To be fair, I did visit 15 min. before close so I understand the Employees just wanted to go Home, but it was overly obvious. Like others have mentioned, prices are high even by MarketStreet standards for just an OK product. Im assuming theyll continue to do well simply because of the Location & a lot of people will pay their prices because everything at MarketStreet is expensive & Google Reviews will have little effect on anything.

I first want to give a huge thank you to J.P. Licks! As someone who cannot have gluten or dairy it was wonderful to get both of those requests filled. As the very friendly employee said “That’s why I love working here. Everyone deserves ice cream” he made my night. I ordered the peanut butter lace ice cream with a gluten free cone. The ice cream was absolutely amazing! It was made with oat milk and chocolate. I am surprised how great it tasted...smooth, soft and a great flavor for chocolate and peanut butter lovers. The cone was also a surprise as it tasted great and had that perfect crunch. Thank you again for tailoring to people who have food intolerances.

An employee served another employee, skipping four customers in a line of about ten during a rush. Not a good look, and not very kind to the other team members working hard to catch up.

Frozen yogurt is terrible. Tastes like chemicals, not even eatable. Not sure about their icecream but yogurt is a no-go.

Flavors are great, but overpriced items if you buy small-sized portions. I wish they had more more variety on hard-yogurt.

Found a hair in it but got a replacement. The taste was good but too expensive. Not sure if it would worth the money specially when around the block has a grocery...

It was okay. Nothing special. Their chamomile citrus sorbet wasnt bad. I would recommend it if youre in the mood for a fruity or dairy free cold treat.

Love this place! Its my favourite ice cream shop. The ice cream is always top quality, they have very generous size portions with a wide range of toppings you can choose from. They have gluten-free ice cream (which is important to me) and also dairy-free options too and always have a flavour of the month and different flavours each time we go in as well as old favourites so theres always something you know youre going to like. 😊 The staff are always friendly and helpful but it can get very noisy in the shop so its good that theres seating outside where its quieter.

I was charged twice for the same transaction, had I not checked my bank account I wouldve never known. I called the store for a refund, employee took my credit card info for reimbursement, called back 2 days later (Friday 6/28) for an update since I never received the refund which was supposed to be taken care of the same day (Wednesday 6/26) and the manager knew nothing about it, waiting for a call back from the manager!

Amazing customer service! Went in today to pick up ice-cream for co-workers and myself. When I asked for a tray to carry the ice-cream back to my car and head back to my office on Rt1; I was shocked when our ice-cream was put on ice for me to carry back. I had some pretty happy co-workers when they got their, literally ice cold ice-cream. Amazing ice-cream and even better service! Go JP Licks & Thank you!!

Ive always been in love with JP licks. The market place one is beautiful and has nice seating areas to chill outside. This location is wonderful if you dont want to head into the city.

Good variety to choose from yet the portions are not that generous considering the price. The team there were obviously overworked and werent friendly at all. The man on the cashier was trying hard to smile but it totally wasnt working.

Regular quality and very expensive. I always try to find something better around. Flavors are always the same and nothing special.

Almost 20 bucks for a brownie sundae and a frappe. A fruit fly crawled out of my sundae. So I threw it out. My date felt uncomfortable because the 2 young ladies behind the counter were starting at us with a like hurry up and go looks. Which we proceeded to do just that. I dont recommend this place at all!

Ordered a dairy free birthday cake at the store two days in advanced. On pickup date, surprise - no cake and no record of the order. Imagine a birthday party without a cake. It wasnt like I could buy a ready-make dairy-free ice cream cake. What a total disappointment! Good thing I asked for a receipt when I ordered the cake so I could at least get my money back.

Had this place for the first time yesterday and me and my gfs stomachs did not like this ice cream at all and she got dairy free because she couldn’t have dairy and it still messed with her stomach I threw up 3 times because it wouldn’t stay in my stomach at all I would not recommend this place for anyone

10 minutes passed and 1 customer was served by the poor solitary person working - and it’s like this every single time we come in. Third time in a row we’ve waited in line and decided to leave before ordering.

I am not one to write a negative review or normally even complain; JP Licks Lynnfield changed that. Ive been going to this ice cream shop for about three years and have had nothing but wondeful things to say. The staff, ice cream, store environment, and customer service were superb. In recent months, I as well as my family, have noticed an unfortunate change in service from both the employees and the (new) manager. The ice cream has also begun to show extreme inconsistencies. Our primary issue is with the size of the ice creams, the price theyre charging, and their inability to quantify how to make a large sunday. We frequent higher end restaurants and are familiar with quality over quantity. However, when the manager informed us last week that they dont frequently make large ice creams and a large is seven ounces I was curious as to how he was the manager? He had never seen a large? Perhaps people dont often order a large, but to say you cant make the size because of that AND that its going to be seven ounces? Absurd, especially if the managers the one saying it. They charge $9.30, almost ten dollars after tax for a large sundae (which they supposedly they dont normally make and are unfamilar with). Ten dollars for seven ounces of commerically produced ice cream is profane. I could buy my own dairy cow, sugar, toppings, and make my own sundae at the price theyre charging for a large. What irks me about this is how the manager dealt with it. We referenced our wonderful experience at other JP Licks locations, which he disregarded stating that they dont follow company rules and are sub-par compared to his location. Well, I am certain that JP Licks corporate does not want customers to refinance their house for seven ounces of ice cream and have it served by someone in an un-proffesional manner. All this being said, I feel as though proper (customer service) training and more consistent sizes could bring JP Licks Lynnfield to the standard of their other locations. I will most certainly not bring my business back here. I highly suggest their Somerville location. They have phenomenal customer service, in a productive, clean, and high efficiency environment. My family and I have had wonderful experiences there.
