My wife and I shopped at this Ritz store in Lynnwood. We bought a bedroom set, dining table and 6 chairs and a 3 piece leather living room set which were very expensive compared to other stores. We end up buying the above items because they were good quality and we liked them. However we didnt get a good service that we deserved, compared to the money we spent. We have horrible experience with the manager Cathy. We believe that we were cheated because we got the open box display items instead of brand new living room set and dining set. If you buy anything from this store make sure it is delivered with its original boxes. The king size bedroom set was delivered after 3 months (purchase date 08/05/21, delivery date 10/29/21) claiming that the shipping delay was due to COVID. To make it worse the wooden rails or posts to be placed under the mattress came in the wrong size. The assistant manager Harold was helpful by making a temporary solution until the correct size pieces are delivered from the manufacturer which will take another couple months. Cathy was pushy and at times unprofessional by giving out names of people who bought items from her which should remain private.
Have stopped at this location multiple times when looking for different furniture. The furniture is lower quality in general. The place is a mess and run down. Kathy(intentional misspelling to make a point) helped us both times. She was an aggressive car salesman type. She took our name and contact information and then hounded us with multiple follow up calls after. Dont give your contact info if you dont wish to be hounded.Update: Yep, real customer. Your notes of who to harass have my name in them. As future customers can see they have a real pension for the details. Name is spelled Zach...it says my name right in review...but response is to Zack.
I love the curation of items. Especially lighting and shelves. If you need space to think or just want to avoid about sales pitches, be sure to ask for it and youll get it.Edit: the lamp we bought was put in our storage room because I wanted to dedicate space to it. On its own after a few days, it fell over. As it turns out, the base was poorly made from concrete. Be careful selecting some of the artistic pieces.
I love this place! I always find exactly what Im looking for, and everyone is extremely helpful and friendly. So far Ive purchased a glider for our nursery, a coffee table, and a desk for both my wife and my son... all beautiful. Great furniture at great prices! Ill definitely be back next time I need a fine piece of furnishing.
Amazing customer service! Kathy is the best! Wonderful selection and they had everything in STOCK!!! I will be back.
Super friendly family-run store. Got a bistro style dining table to share WFH and remote-learning space with my daughter. Good selection of different styles of furniture with option to special-order. I particularly appreciate that they carry many pieces with storage options; table has another drawer and cubbies on the other side....great for wine-storage if actually using as dining option. :)
Really anyone who needs to go this furniture store be careful before buying anything they just trying how they can get money they do not care about their customers their totally different befor and after buying
The lady Cathy was really helpful and welling to show us all the items, she gave us a discount too, and I enjoyed here style of marketing and communication.
TL;DR Cathy is pushy af. I got a defective couch set, was condescended to multiple times as they refused to admit that, had to call the finance company to get them to replace it. Replaced them with couches with different measurements and then tried to gaslight me into accepting it... again.Update: I still have a couch set that is causing me physical pain and Cathy is still claiming they gave me the same couch (see the space around the cupholders in the photos for that nonsense). Unfortunately since the finance company already paid her she is and CAN refuse to do anything about the clearly different couch set. Id only be screwing the finance company to not pay at this point. The woman, Cathy, was pretty pushy when I was looking to get a couch set but I was being impulsive and had limited financing options so I got the ones I liked under their financing.Maybe a week or so after being delivered, the arm on one of the couches came off with my 1 yr old niece climbing over the arm. Called them, they sent a tech who insisted to my brother that it was the way the couch was meant to be. I called and had them send out someone new and was there this time. Same condescending response basically telling me Im SoL because thats how the couches are intentionally made.Had to get the finance company involved for them to admit it was defective (2 months later) and offer to replace. They just came and brought me couches that arent as wide (my feet readily touch the ground now and dangle over recliner). Cathy had the audacity to argue with me that these are the same couches as IM sitting her feeling like Im on toddlers furniture (only slight exaggeration).
Like the products they have, very kind people helping you to get what you need. If you buy something today, they bring your furniture next day.
I went to 11 Furniture stores to search for a comfortable sofa. I took many pictures in the end I went back to Ritz. Bought the sofa and still happy with it two weeks later very comfortable. They also as a courtesy stain proofed my sofa and then.. So nice I brought some cushions I had made custom for my home in to them and they stain guarded them for free. So nice
Real pushy saleswoman! be very careful she can be real persuasive! applause her sales skills, but definitely detest her intentional concealing of information and half conning you into buying stuff! ask every detail of the product before you pay! ask for return policy, fees of shipping, we ended up paying extra $100 than we expected because of this and that fees!!! also examine thoroughly of the furniture! we found scratches and stickers all over the coffee table! we didn’t check it from all angles, and all the flaws happened to be at an inconvenient angle in the store!!!basically, do NOT expect any customer service or customer protection once you paid! also the price here for furniture is quite pricey!
I had a very horrible experience at this furniture store, I wouldnt recommend anyone shopping here. I had bought a dinning table a few weeks ago and my item still hasnt came, after three weeks I had to call the store to check up on the status of my purchase and she informs me that it will take an additional 8-12 weeks. She didnt even have the decency to call me as soon as soon as my furniture got delayed. However, she told us that we can make an exchange for another item in the store that may come in sooner. When I got to the store there wasnt any other table that I liked within my budget so I asked for a refund, which is when she got extremely defensive and refused to give me a refund or cancel the order. If you must shop at this store I highly suggest not paying in cash because once she takes your money there is no chance of getting it back even when the problem is the stores fault. The manager is very unreasonable and whenever we tried to reason with her she would mention how her store has been in business for the past 40 years which has nothing to do with the conversation at hand. Im still currently waiting on a solution to this problem and will keep everyone updated.
Nice stuff. Hard working family owned business
Second time purchasing from Ritz, always satisfied!First time I bought 2 very nice love seat sofas. This time a dining set, very happy with the selection and quality.
They finance, it is a furniture store, not the newest or most modern, but depending on your needs, it could still provide the room essentials you may have in mind.
The coffee tables we purchased for over $200 each are wobbly and the screws can not be tightened because they are stripped in the particle board. I would have thought at this price they would have been real wood! Also, the back of the couch we purchased moves feeling like its going to collapse if we lean on it too much. I called & spoke with the owner, who pretty much called me a liar, (she told me the one in the showroom doesnt do that....?) to see if they could send someone out to look at the furniture. An appointment was scheduled then canceled. That was 3 months ago and she still has not called me back to reschedule. The prices are high, while the customer service and quality of the furniture is low!! Shop elsewhere!!
Kathy was absolutely the best, shes very knowledgeable about the products we were interested in and so helpful you made this a great purchasing experience. We will be back guaranteed.....
Dont buy from these crooks... they are a bait and switch type business. You will end up with defective furniture. Planning to take them to small claim.
We had the MOST positive experience buying furniture from Ritz furniture gallery. We went in to their store August 10th. We had visited 11 other furniture stores to find just the right look.George the son and Cathy the manager were extremely helpful in providing good advice along with great fabrics to choose from.We custom ordered a broyhill couch, and love seat and a custom colored leather recliner.I was told about up to 6 to 8 weeks due to special order status. Imagine my surprise when Cathy called me to let me know the couch and loveseat were in and ready for delivery 9/6/14!Our new recliner was delivered today 09/19/14.We now have a most favorite furniture store due to excellent customer service and good follow up by Cathy and George. Our furniture is beautiful and SO well made, were extremely satisfied! We would definitely recommend Ritz furniture gallery for any of your furniture needs.
Amazing deals and superb customer service
They are straight up! And Cathy makes sure that the manufacturers stand behind their products!
They are a crook they gave me a defective furniture and didn’t want to give me my money back even though she told me I can return it
Nice furniture!
Overpriced and outdated
