Decided to walk in for the first time to look for a specific TV I found online and was seriously interested in. Immediately, I regretted my decision when after looking at 3 TVs I realized not a single one in the store had a model # on their description placard. Of course by that point I was barraged by a nosy salesperson. I did my best to brush him off and continued to peruse. It didnt take 5 minutes for me to decide it was a waste of time to go in. The salesperson made a final ditch effort as I was leaving, but honestly it really felt like a form of deception was going on there. Best Buy may cost more, but its all about presentation and not hiding important information that helps us make educated decisions.

Excellent service and Dar was fantastic at helping me make the decision, and great advice along the way. Never going anywhere else again. Oh and was cheaper than anywhere else as well :)

I had an excellent experience at Video Only in Lynnwood. I had previously purchased and returned an open box TV from a big box competitor across the street. I bought the same tv, NEW, at Video Only for the same price I had just paid for the open box. Additionally, I found the Sanus wall mound for $100+ less than I had paid at that big box store. I could not be happier! David Buchanan at Video Only in Lynnwood is the perfect example of professional salesperson with the emphasis on person. The term salesperson comes with negative stereotypes and David is nothing but the opposite of those! I purchased my first TV from Video Only almost 20 years ago and I was a satisfied customer for many years. Over the years I was lured away from Video Only by online retailers like Amazon or warehouse stores like Costco. I felt I could get a better deal and liked the fact I would not have to speak with a salesperson. Wow, I regret that now! I stopped into Video Only a few weeks back because a product I wanted was out of stock at the box and online stores. To my surprise Video Only had it and made sure I got it right away at a better price than I would have paid online or at a warehouse. I also had a great experience with David. So theyve won my business back! I question why I ever took my business elsewhere trying to save a couple dollars when I most likely lost 100s and didnt have the positive experience I had with David. Very nice and helpful. A lot nicer then going to thoughs big box stores that try to sell you stuff you dont need. I went in to purchase a new TV and mentioned I needed a new hdmi cord as well. They didnt have the correct ones in stock. Instead of selling me one that I didnt need and wouldnt work corectly he recommended something else that would work better and where to find it. Local electronics store, went to look at new TVs. Matt is who came to help me and I cannot stress enough to find him if hes there. He explained all the TVs and their differences. He never pushed the expensive ones on me and only worked with what my living room situation was plus what I was open to spending.Ended up finding a TV that worked for me perfectly and left with it. Once I purchased it, he showed as well how to make it perform better and how to use it to my liking.Im looking into soundbars in the future and will definitely be going back here for that purchase.

I bought a TV here four years ago and it was acting up so I decided to ask them for guidance as what to do and if I could use my warranty, as I did purchase an extended warranty. The man that helped me was quite surly and seemed rather annoyed that I was asking such a question and was gesturing with his hands that my line of questioning wasnt worth his time. When you work in customer service, you are supposed to help the customer as that is why they are there. I try to support small business, but I am just going to get a cheaper TV at Costco instead of spend extra on a supposedly better TV. I cant justify the cost of coming here vs. Costco.UPDATE: Unplugged and plugged the TV back in and that didnt solve the problem!

We sought out Video Only because we wanted to support a local business for our first TV purchase in many, many years. We could not have been more pleased with our decision. There were a wide range of models all at great prices. Our salesperson Rob was personable and patient, and we felt no pressure to upsell, while he still explained where the value lay in some of the more expensive options. He helped us get the TV out to the car, and then after we discovered our car had a flat tire, he helped us get it back in (so we could put on the flat) and back out to the car again. I do some research online, seeing what products they offer and compare to online stores, and look at the difference between models and brands. And by being in a store, instead of online, you can see the difference for yourself!T are so helpful when you are trying to choose, the right one for you. Ask you what kind of room, lighting, and price youd like to stay around. We were comparing 2 different brands, same size and the salesman told us what the only difference was between the two. The one that was $200 more, had just a slightly faster processor, or something like that, and he said it wasnt worth the extra money so we left with the cheaper of the two and are super happy! They have a great return policy and will also take your old TV, so you dont have to worry about disposal. I highly recommend them!

Video Only store manager David told us they were out of stock on the tv we wanted and it would take 2+ weeks to arrive and then tried to upsell us to a model that was 150% the price of the one we chose. Magically the next day they called to say it actually was in stock. Then they promised delivery with set up and showing us how to work the tv, they just dropped it off and said they did none of that. After many calls they decided the manager would come out to actually install and set up the TV. They advertise that they are less of a headache than Costco, my experience has begged to differ.Edit: the warehouse manger came out himself the following day and was very friendly and helpful while mounting the tv. All in all I got a good tv at a good price, just had to jump through few more hoops than I would have liked.

I went to Costco to buy an LG C9 OLED TV. They were out of stock. I called Video Only and was helped by a Dan with the initials of DAR that offered the newer model CX for essentially the same price if I traded in my old TV. I wasnt looking forward to figuring out how to get rid of the old plasma, so this was a welcome offer. He also threw in a 5 year warranty. I didnt read the fine print, so I dont know if this is a good deal or not, but since it was free, it obviously didnt hurt.He also didnt upsell me on any accessories. I wanted to buy a 2.1 HDMI cable, but they didnt have the length I needed(Im not sure they exist yet).Anyway, it was a pleasant no hassle experience. I hope I never need service, but if I do, I feel a little better with these guys over a big box store.

I spent the last two weeks doing a lot of research on replacements for my 2011 Panasonic Viera 55 Plasma (which I love and still works). Ive been on Amazon, Costco, Walmart, BestBuy and all the models I have been looking at are not available. Since I bought my Panasonic at Video Only, I checked their website out and decided to take an hour drive to the Lynnwood store. I was met by Dar at the front door, told him what I was looking for. The prices for the two Samsung models I decided on were comparible to what I was looking for. Unfortunately the Samsung Q90T and the Samsung HW-60T were out of stock and Dar check the other store locations and they were out also. Dar gave me a great deal below their advertised price including the soundbar bundle price) since I would have to wait for it to be shipped to the store. Dar did a great job with the sale though I have to mention how friendly he was during the checkout process and actually took the time to talk about himself and we had a great conversation while he was doing up my paperwork. Dar actually took the time to get to know me a little bit while we were in the store and I think that speaks greatly of his customer relationship skills. Dar didnt make it feel like just another sale but like, he was was making a new friend. Video Only (from my two experiences) feel like the home town store I grew up with and will definitely shop here when I do eventually replace my old Panasonic. John, Arlington, WA

On Sunday, September 08, 2019 I went into Video Only Lynnwood to purchase a new Samsung Television. David Buchanan was my sales rep and he went out of his way to help me make the purchase and get it delivered on the same day. Over the years I have purchased a number of televisions from Video Only and the main reason (besides the best price) is the excellent customer service! Thank you David.
