Went to look at a vehicle, possibly to buy it, the cars in the lot were all nice and shiny clean (unlike some other used car lots Ive been to). The vehicle i was interested in was exactly as advertised. I talked with Joel, gave him a copy of my ID and we went on a test drive. When we got back he was very forthcoming about a couple of things I hadnt noticed. He assured me he would have those things fixed and had already ordered the parts. Ive always bought my vehicles straight out, never carried a contract, so trying to get financed was kind of iffy as a 1st time buyer. Things were actually not looking good for financing. Joel took the time the next day to search around and found a credit union that would not only finance the purchase, but the interest rate was surprisingly low for a first time buyer. By now with this story its probably understood, but Ill say it anyway. Joel was easy to work with, honest, forthcoming, and polite. I totally recommend ZipStar with the above and beyond service, and will go to them first next time Im looking for a car. Its a small lot, but thats because they want to sell quality not quantity. I run a construction company next door to this dealership for 3+ years so far. I see the dealer cars get delivered in, I see the cars get detailed for sale, and I see them getting sold all day everyday. This place is run by a father and son as far as I know and they are both super kind to me in passing, ALL THE TIME. These guys work as hard as I do, long hours, weekends, and often holidays and yet they are so patient and kind. I have sent 2 employees here for work trucks and reliable cars over the last 3 years. Both times the cars and trucks were detailed and cleaned incredibly nice and both times my employees purchased these vehicle and they were competitive prices. Both vehicles are still running great too. I plan to buy another small work truck here as soon too. Highly recommend this place!!!

I bought a 2012 Chevrolet Malibu from this dealer. Within 3 months the car was broken down with multiple major issues. It’s possible that it’s just bad luck which is often the problem with buying used cars. But I was assured that the car had been checked by a mechanic and the car was in good shape and that it ran perfectly. The mechanic I had fix the car told me there were some obvious things even a decent dealer would have had replaced before selling the car. I would highly recommend not buying a car from here.

I had been looking for a good used Prius for quite some Time. But honestly everything I found in Tacoma and Seattle was terrible. I finally decided to take a chance and drive all the way to Lynnwood. Friendly and helpful folks. Relaxed environment. Got to test drive the car by myself, which was a nice surprise to me. The 2 BMWs I took a look at were both in really good condition. I was able to drive off the lot in about 3 hours. It could have been less, but I was returning a rental car and the folks at Zipstar even offered to give me a ride from the rental place. Would do business with them again and I would recommend them.

Just bought a beautiful Audi from Zipstar, and it was my first time buying a car from a dealer.. I went in thinking I was gonna feel pressured and was super nervous. But as soon as I walked in, I was greeted by Phil and he was super welcoming. Definitely didn’t feel any pressure at all, and my first buying experience was great. Bought a 2008 Hyundai Elantra with just under 100k miles for a very fair market price. Had a great Carfax report and a very clean interior. I dont have the best credit history and this was a first for me,financing a used car. They went above and beyond finding a lender to give me a car loan and even put me at ease when at one point they saw I was a tad frustrated with the procedural paper work process. (again, this was a new experience for me). There was no shady dealing. The guys were very honest and upfront and it really seemed like a business of integrity and that they actually cared for their product and customer. Look most of the reviews say that these are polite and friendly folks so this might be an isolated incident but I called on friday in reference to a truck for sale and he legitimately sounded like he was inconvenienced by me calling, since I am a essential employee I couldnt take off work and come buy the truck so I offered to put half down and pay off the other half with out even looking flat the truck he wouldnt even respond to this request. So I crossed my fingers and waited til my next day I had off and called right away excited to find the truck was not only still available but put on sale set up a time to come pay for it again cash straight out the lot and again he sounded inconvenienced that I called but I set the appointment then come half an hour before I had agreed to come I called to touch base to find the truck had been sold and he made no effort in offering me another vehicle, he sounded so disinterested in having me as a customer at any degree honestly I hope this was a one time ordeal given the state of things but honestly Ill never even consider calling these guys which suck cause they genuinely seem well liked and their prices seem quite unbelievable
