Five stars for these good people, good store, clean, good vibes place. Good prices good selection of stuff. They been there for a while and I’ve been coming here off and on, and it’s always good with them, don’t recall ever anything negative about this store

The manager that works at night is a control freak and upsetting to work with. He upset a customer to the point that he stormed out. They are seriously annoyed by customers and manager was extremely put out to wait for me to find a coupon. I understand they want to be done at their closing time however being pushy and rude is not ok. Employees looked intimidated manager as he is super intense. I will go to another location next time.

Unbelievable! I just left the store and I have feel completely disrespected! One of the workers followed me and my daughter around like we were going to steal something. When we got up to the counter there was a price tag that was in the counter and he asked me if we had it. I don’t even know what is was!! He rings up our order that seemed high. I told him the sign said 7.49$ for the 5 pounds dumbbells. He went to go check if the price was correct, but I left because he made me feel low. I don’t steal and had no intention of taking anything from that store! I will never go back there!!!!

My husband and I recently went to this store and he needed work boots and while we were there we also got work socks. They were on it when we walked in and was catering to our needs with getting the shoe size. He tried them out and turns out he needed a bigger size. Came in a week or so later and they exchanged the boots no problem! I loved that we had no issues with exchanging them and they were just as nice before with getting the proper size. Thanks

The Manager In Training seemed like he didnt want to be there. Not UNFRIENDLY, but def not engaging nor friendly.

Purchased fast pitch gear for my daughter. They had most of the items we were looking for.4 stars for the store itself, 2 stars for the employees that particular day as they were huddled around the register chatting amongst themselves and not providing customer service.

It always feels like they are about to go out of business with how empty the shelves are.

Great value for athletic shoes but often dont have many sizes in stock

I like going here they always have something my daughter wants or needs for sports and clearance rack usually has some good finds and my daughter got a bathing suit that just couldnt fit right and I bought a scooter that wasnt good they didnt give me any trouble returning it like a lot of stores.

First time walking in to this location which was last month I felt like I was being stereotype by the manager that was working in there. Same thing happen today when I figured out I had got the wrong size. Walked into the store with no problem one of the co workers greeted me ask me if I need help but I found out they didnt have the same shoes in a different size I needed. While I was checking out to return the shoes I had brought the manager was just staring me down like the first time I walked into this store in August. I felt very uncomfortable wasnt sure if it was how I was dress or if I was african american.

Since SA closed, B5 is the only game in town but seriously limited in selection and quality. The staff is nice but rarely are there enough of them.I do shop there because I have 3 kids all in sports.I consistently give encouraging but pointed feedback hoping things might change.My latest visit was today - they had enough people but their payment processing was not working! Ugh, Im old enough and remember the way it used to be done... but the staff aint!If they can get TST itd be a decent neighborhood sports store... waiting... or waiting for something better to move into the area. This review is not directed at the staff - they are always nice and really try, theyre just not set up for success...They are right next to 85c bakery tho and that place is amazing!

Ive called Big5 the Wal-Mart of sports. Has good sales weekly. If looking for the best outdoor equipment..might look elsewhere for long-term quality of vital equipment.

This store is convenient with plenty of parking. Their selection is adequate. Salespeople are nice if not always the most knowledgeable. I went in for multiple sale items but they only had 1 out of the 4 I came in for. Bummer

Smaller location but it had the colorful lacrosse balls I wanted. Helpful staff, too.

Poor customer service. I was in line to ask if they had some 9mm. While two representatives were talking to one customer I had wait several minutes in that isle before one of the reps finally what I was looking for. Come on Big5, it should not be like that. I value my time and if you don’t have any 9mm put a sign on a counter, or have your reps be a bit quicker.

One of the last sporting goods stores in the area. Place is kinda of a ghost town, dont know how they stay in business. Did have a good selection of New Balance tennis shoes at reasonable prices.

Good inventory and customer service. Tree brush hides the sign a bit. It’s next to Rite Aid. Best reasonably priced camping/hiking gear.

Got really great shoe fitting advice, and a great pair of New Balance shoes! They pack a wide variety of goods into their store. Ive been shopping at that location since 1988.

You know I really like Big 5. Not that its such an excellent place, but because the prices are so good. They have athletic shoes, they have competitive swimming gear, and all sorts of athletic gear.

Great selection & very helpful customer service. They quickly & thoroughly answered my questions and held an item for me for next day pick-up.

Came here the other day for range shooting ear muffs with my partner. After we found a pair we were interested in, we went to the register because no one else was around that area and asked if they had any display samples that he can try on to see if the size would fit and the African American ”supervisor” or “manager” told us in a unprofessional and unethical manner that we “couldn’t open the box, that it was sealed for a reason” and went back to what he was doing, comepletely disregarded us. We didn’t even ask to open the box, we were simply asking if they had display samples to try on. He simply was lazy and non understanding and made us feel unwelcome. He had this “blah” attitude and never smiled or gave us a welcoming vibe. Terrible customer service! This location should care more about who they hire to represent their company.

Its a basic Big5, good stock, good variety, plenty of employees if you need assistance with shoes, etc.

To be honest I couldnt find what I was looking for because I dont think they had it but at least the people were nice about telling me that they didnt have what I was looking for so I still walked away satisfied and I would go back again if I ever needed something that they will have next time like sporting goods I think what I asked for was not really a sporting good but I thought it could be a sporting good.

The prices here are very competitive. Ive gotten name brand shoes for $20 recently. Good sales... no wonder why Sports Authority is going out of business.

Horrible service unfortunately. Wanted to buy ammo for my boyfriend and had to wait in the area for so long until I had to walk to the front of the store and asked for help. They sent me back with an incompetent employee who didnt know anything about the products they have on shelf. Not to mention I walked in to the store a mess and the managers and two employees gossiping and complaining at the front register. Will not be returning or recommend.

Kind of an off vibe in this store. Every worker seems like robots but (not in a good way.) there is really No way to explain it. Anyways, I found everything I needed.

Not alot of staff and didnt have the rings to change out hooks on there gear they have. Most lures come with treble hooks and you cant use those at more than half the places to fish. Its a simple but necessary peace of hardware that every angler should have in there tackle box and big 5 doesnt carry them. Smh...????

Just like most other Big 5 stores just charged different prices than posted. I grabbed 2 packs of size 2 fishing hooks marked at .99cents each and at the register they came up $2.09 ea. I said something about it twice and was ignored. Wont be back.
