The team was quick to get my interior detailing done which was great but the price for the extra pet hair extraction was extremely high considering there was a section that was missed. If the section hadn’t been missed I would have given it a higher rating but it was still pretty pricey. I probably won’t come back for that particular service just because I know there are other places that are all inclusive in their interior detailing prices and are ultimately cheaper than cartoys.

Went in to price out a radio and their “$300 radio with free installation” rings up to $800 with all the “necessary add ins”. I drive an old Jeep. I don’t need all the add ins they are claiming. Feels like bait and switch to me.

The folks at Lynnwood Car Toys have been helpful and responsive through the process of replacing a factory audio system that had failed in several places. The sales people are not pushy, offering a similar, +1 upgrade, or +2 upgrade to consider for everything I wanted to replace. Also, they were a great place for turnaround time. Other car audio places can only book you for 8 weeks later - Car Toys Lynnwood could usually see me in under a week or better. Great experience, all the way around!

Ask for Kris! The real proI needed to install an aftermarket China product on my car, so I stopped by Car Toys about 15 minutes before they closed. My product had no fuses, and no electrical ratings/labels, so Kris was unable to confidently assist with my installation. He was, however, open to shop talk for a bit despite needing to close, and worked with me to come up with a solution to figure out what tools or electrical formulas I needed to use in order to safely install my product myself.Going to admit that if I didnt do my research on basics of electrical wiring and electrical safety, I might have been sad/upset that he wouldnt be able to help me...

I had my car there and this what I got back also my door seal was hanging off not put back in groove on seal like its supposed to. The pillar trim on my drivers side is hanging off and the pin that holds it is broken off in hole. So now I will have to fix myself. When I called to talk to some one I was put on hold for 10 mins and I just gave up. Obviously no customer care. I thought they were better

I called car toys on Wednesday 9/30 to set up an appointment to get my windows tinted on my sedan, I wanted ceramic all around and they got me scheduled with a fair price. Ended up calling back about 20 minutes later deciding to pull the trigger on upgrading the stereo, I talked to Arnel who helped choose a system that was slightly above budget, he ended up working some magic to get it at my budget and included a bass knob for the sub woofer I wasnt planning on adding, but now am glad that I did.Alex did the tint and detailing of the car, which came out perfect and thrilled with the results.Taylor did the install of the subwoofer, amplifier and component speakers, the tweeters look great for tight location that he had to work with, they look stock when the door closed. I am very happy with the outcome, before amplifying the speakers I would have volume at max, now I havent gone above 1/2.Prices for labor are higher than competition, but the quality of work made me feel okay about it.

Staff is friendly, applied a discount from 2900 to 2800. This is what it cost for 2 cameras, 6 internal lights, tinting all windows, and blind spot sensors & installation. I told them I wasnt in a major hurry, so I think that was my mistake. Started at 9am, the first estimate was that they could do it today. Then when I added the tinted windows they said it would be done tomorrow morning. The next morning they tell me its going to be more like 1pm-3pm due to a jaguar. I need to meet this jaguar - they mentioned it several times. So I walk the hour walk to arrive at 1pm, and I get a call at 12:30 saying it would be more like 3:30pm. Its 2:00pm now, and I have lost much of my Friday. I dont mind if it takes 2 days to install a light bulb, but it would be much better to get tighter windows for completion so we can organize around it - even if its a longer estimate. They have about 5 cars in a 3 car garage. If you visit, I recommend walking around back and actually seeing how many cars are in line. On the plus side, they gave me time to write reviews! Other than that, their prices are a bit high but acceptable, theyre nice, but just a little disorganized and scattered which is more of a management scheduling issue than an actual staff one. Take it with a grain of salt - they looked busy.Edit: The manager help to make things right with me and so I left very pleased in the end.

Nick did an awesome job detailing the interior of my car, and was very courteous and professional throughout the process. I opted for the classic package with a shampoo treatment for the seats, which took just under 2 hours. I used a Groupon, but paid a bit more for the upgrade, which Im glad I did.Nick was nice enough to throw in some fabric deodorizer, which was a nice touch. Cant tell that there used to be baby vomit all over the back seats anymore. Would definitely recommend.

Manager quoted me a price and when I said it was too much, he asked my limit. And just like that he brought down the price $400. I then realized it was a game and asked if he could bring it down another $100. He said he couldnt do that but he could buy the system for you as he didnt have to pay tax. Totally sketchy. I also didnt like that he said he couldnt print the receipt unless I paid $20. I did and I feel completely ripped off. Such a scam.

The people at this car Toys location were so nice. Like night and day compared to my local store. I was able to get what I needed and get back on the road. Despite them being busy and almost six customers ahead of me they verified their inventory and set aside what I was after prior to me driving an hour to get there.

I was mis lead by your manager.I spent $2600.00 with $600.00 of it being my alarm system.I explained to your manager and a technician exactly what I wanted mainly having a little bit of some good base. I listened to it after it was installed and it sounded like a tin can. Now they want $900.00 more to put a wolfer in my trunk which I was against due to it being a classic car. I feel that I got ripped off and your employees acted like they didnt even care. I will tell all my friends,family and my own retail customers as I have my own automotive service department to stay away from Car toys period,especially the one in Lynnwood Washington. I now have to find someone else who knows what their doing to satisfy my needs.this has been my worst experience ever in the retail business. You have nothing but a bunch of inexperienced kids working at the Lynnwood location as far as Im concerned. theres nothing that you can do to make my experience better at all.

Went in to upgrade my audio in a 1993 truck. Sales folks listened to my needs, style of music, budget. They explained everything, kept the budget, scheduled the install. The results were spectacular. In cant believe the quality of sound I have. Im 64 years old and am cruising again.Let this team do your sounds. Amazing!

This review was for Sept 2020.So I used work for a company where I brought vehicles in to be worked on. I knew most the crew at each CT location in Seattle, but of course one stood out. That’s the Lynwood location. They got cars done the fastest with top quality, so of course I’m taking mine there.I wanted a new stereo system that has apple car play and android play, with new speakers. The works basically. The sales manager Chris is the one you wanna talk to. Genuine, friendly and respectful guy. He hooked me up with the best and affordable option for me.The install didn’t even take that long. Granted, it does depend on what you are getting installed. I was expecting to get my car back the next day, but to my surprise I got it back the same day, within 4 hours. I drove home blasting my new speakers and totally flexing on my friends. 6 months later, they’re still jealous to this day!

Everyone was great, had blind spot installed and a front mirror that monitored what was behind me. I have a 2 door 2013 Land Rover Evoque, it has a very small back window so installing the monitor was essential! Taylor, Alex and Chris all great, install was super clean. Thank you!

The detail cost twice as much as the coupon just to add shampooing the carpets, in retrospect seems excessive. I also had window wiper issues after leaving. It appears someone bent or leaned on it while cleaning the windshield because it is lopsided and doesn’t go the whole windshield anymore

Okay so the job is now done, we faced challenges on both sides. Here is my basic take:- The staff are highly skilled and very customer service oriented.- They use high quality parts and are very knowledgeable.- There are subject matter experts the mechanics can turn to when things go wrong, but maybe not enough of them.Cons:- Overall I feel like my car is improved in the direction I want but it’s not perfect, especially for the price I paid. There’s still a lot of work for me to do personally AND I am out $3k.- At the same time there is a lot to support and they need to agree on some basic builds for common makes and models.- Finishing touches are important. Some promises were made that weren’t fully delivered. This is why I say, develop your brand and your look and feel more. Decide how Car Toys Lynnwood builds out an Accord, a Civic, etc.- Again I will emphasize that they are overpriced for the level of service received. In retrospect I wish I had traded in my car for something new.

Had some installation work done at Car Toys Lynnwood. After getting home and looking over the work I noticed some issues that were very concerning. I immediately emailed car toys outlining my concerns. My email was escalated and I received a phone call within a couple hours from the install manager and the store manager or owner. They were both extremely polite and expressed concern about the issues and asked for an opportunity to fix the issues. I was reluctant at first but then agreed and made an appointment. They went over with me at my vehicle all of my concerns or problems and addressed each one. They never made me feel I was unreasonable or that they werent valid. They corrected or made changes to the work as per our conversation. This type of customer service is to be commended. Things happen, addressing them and making sure the customer is happy is a forgotten quality among business these days. Its the one thing that will earn my repeat business. I wanted to take the time to express my thanks to Car toys for fixing the issues that arose from work done at their store. I would recommend anyone needing anything installed on their vehicle to go see the guys at Lynnwood Car Toys.

I came in on Black Friday to check out having a remote start installed. Sorry i cant remember your names, but everyone that I talked with was extremely helpful and informative. They helped me pick out the right system for my needs and car. The manager made me a great deal. With Covid, I was told I wouldnt able to stay on the property while they installed. They offered and gave me a free ride home while the work was being done. Now, 5 weeks later, the remote start works perfectly! I would gladly recommend this Car Toys location to anyone. I have spent thousands of dollars there over the years and have never been disappointed with their selection and prices. They have the latest and greatest in car audio and their installation time is unbelievable. I highly recommend.

Car toys never ceases to amaze. I went in again for some specific interior cleaning and Nick went above and beyond by helping me save and go beyond. I felt at ease feeling I would not have to do another cleaning compared to other places. Buffed the trunck lid when I didnt think would need to because he saw I was a Lyft driver, worked harder than he should cleaning the cracks between the seats, getting out old stains and knowledgable in his craft. I would highly recommend thia place to anyone and ask for Nick to detail your car.

I have been coming here for years for my car audio needs. They have great customer service! Their recommendations are always on key.

The service staff could be more attentive and less pushy with their sales tactics. I had to tell the employee multiple times i was uninterested in the 6x9 speakers they had to offer before he finally stopped trying to sell them to me. I then asked about subwoofers and he was quick to show me the sales going on and accommodate my preferences although, when i told him i would be using my factory radio and that i need everything required to install properly he did not offer me a line output converter. I decided to go elsewhere for one because i did not want to return after the somewhat frustrating experience.

I had a very good experience at Car Toys in Lynnwood, with the two people I worked with. Alex, who I believe is the manager, was a total pleasure to work with. Very detail oriented, super courteous, and very professional. I thought he was great, from planning on a decent sized overhaul of my entire system, to the finish of install and setup. John, the installer on the job, even called me after the job was finished to say he wanted to make sure the job was done right, to call if there were any issues. Nice. So, a great experience with John and Alex: 5 stars.

Amazing place! Alex & Taylor took care of my car and got me setup with a stereo and remote start under the predicted time and it was better than expected! I drove from Moses Lake to Lynnwood and back just because I trusted these guys to do it. I will be back!

Closer I looked, not a very good job on the car detail. Door jams not cleaned as stated with pakage, wax overspray and dirt not cleaned out. Also, windows were not done, tech said not included but package details said it was. Great guys working there but car detailing was not very detailed at all. Very helpful with audio system questions though. I will have my audio done there but probably wont use the detailing service again.

I had my car detailed at Lynwood Car toys twice in past years and was very happy. This time my experience was very disappointing. My windows are as dirty as when I brought the car in. The door entries are dirty. The carpet was suppose to be vacuumed and carpet shampooed. There was still dirt on the carpet. In addition they lost the console plastic tray.

Got to say, when I brought my 2019 Kia Sorento in for detailing, I was more than happy at how clean they made my SUV looked! I had a great experience with the staff there. If you need a place to get your car detailed go to Car Toys in Lynnwood! Thanks guys!!!

I got the interior of my car detailed, and had some streaks on my doors from when I got my car tinted (not from Car Toys). The tinter didnt wipe the drips and so all my doors had these streaks. I was afraid they had stained the doors and it couldnt be removed. Adrian did a wonderful job and got rid of all the streaks :) The rest of the staff was amazing as well. Thank you, and I will be back.

I went in with a couple ideas for what I wanted to do to upgrade the sound system in my old f150.. but no real knowledge. Alex was incredibly helpful, informative and patient with all my questions throughout the process. I couldnt be happier. That no credit needed SNAP finance made it a breeze too. $39 out the door!

Connect to correct wires correctly and take accountability immediately. I now have to go to dodge to get it fixed correctly and I have to pay additional amount when I call the Lynnwood Location the sales person did not take responsibility and attempted to diagnose my vehicle issue over the phone only to not take responsibility. The manager told me I could bring my car on a Tuesday and they might not take a look untill Friday. What kind of service is that. I took my car her thinking I was paying for proper install. I ended having to pay for their mistake. The accountability was the most frustrating

Really awesome store! I bought a new truck and had some audio issues and also wanted to put in a back up camera. Bean and Chris really helped me out. I went into the Car Toys in Lynwood to get a replacement speaker for my Subwoofer box because the speaker blew or fried. It was a couple months after the extended warranty had expired and they still took care of it. Got it replaced for free and then bought my wife subs and an amp for her car amazing service

Helped with Car Radio Installation. The guys were friendly and courteous. They had me all set pretty quickly and I would recommend their services.

DO NOT BUY THE DETAILING SERVICE. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. My wife took our car in to get detailed. The first instance of poor customer service is that they required her to make an appointment and that it would take an hour. She showed up at the appointed time and was told there were 4 people in front and that should could pick up the car 5 hours later. She went by herself folks, and who wants to be stuck in a Car Toys for 5 hours. Gross. The second and more egregious instance of poor customer service is that they didnt actually detail the car. They vacuumed it and wiped down the dash. Thats it. The car is still otherwise very much in need of a full detailing. Do not buy this service. We will be demanding a full refund.

We had our car detailed at the Everett mall way location. We were unable to drop it off the day of the appointment we so we left it overnight. And when we got it back we discovered that a lot of things were missing. I went back to the store to complain and they had informed me that our car had been broken into. Mind you they didnt tell me that when I picked it up.... just when I complained about the missing items

SCAM ALERTI purchased a groupon for $79.99 for a $129.99 interior detail package. I upgraded to the $199.75 package that came up to $223.78 after tax and enviro fee of $5. They only gave me $34.75 discount of my $79.99 groupon for my $129.99 package. They charged me $189.03 after tax, $5 enviro fee and $34.75 discounted from groupon. So they over charged me $95.24. The service was good. My truck looks good besides the head liner they told me they dont touch. It needs some help.

I went in to see about some inexpensive speakers for my old car. Max the installer found a set of decent speakers and said he could have them installed in 90 min. 60 min later I drove off with stereo audio again. :)

The guys in Lynnwood were great! Arnel was very courteous and the installer, Bean, was quite professional and did a great job. They steered me to the right size in-dash unit with the features I wanted. When replacing a plastic panel in my car while finishing the installation, the panel broke. Bean called right away to apologize and to tell me he was getting a new one on their dime. Things happen, right? But in calling me right away to let me know and that they had a solution made it ok in my book. Satisfied customer for sure!

I paid 250 for a kicker amplifier that is sold elsewhere for 175 i.e best buy and had no price match option

I went to get a new deck and some speakers installed on my 4Runner. Everyone I spoke with was nice and polite. No issues there.What I do have issues with is them stealing personal property out of my truck and not installing the stereo properly.I’d recommend going elsewhere.

I came here to get a stereo and a subwoofer box installed into my car, and I had such a great experience, from the customer service to the install itself, everything was amazing. They definitely went above and beyond to make sure I got everything that I wanted, while still working well around the budget I gave them. They didn’t try to oversell me and give me something I wouldn’t get the best value from, if anything, it was my sister that was with me that kept trying to convince me to get the touchscreen deck so I could have the apple car play XD but I wanted to keep it simple, and I had expressed this to them. They were more than happy to show me to the things they knew I’d like, rather than just trying to sell me some of the pricier stuff. I couldn’t be more happy with how they handled me, and I’ll definitely be back to tint my windows, and to see what other stuff they can do to my baby. Love these guys !

Bate and switch!!!! I brought my car in Monday for detailing, was actually going to get both cars done. Christian, he said he was the manager, looked at the car and said the express detail would work $119. Today, Tuesday, he said that unless I was prepared to spend an extra $300 for the interior only he would not do it for the safety of his health? What? What!?!? I took the cars to north Seattle detail and the guy laughed openly. His exact words were, wow, what a wormy place! BATE AND SWITCH!UPDATE!!! I did reach out to the owners, as asked. I got nothing, crickets. Answer to the owner, please understand, what youre doing is ILLEGAL! I think the law and karma is on the way to your place! Cheers!

The cost of labor for installation was too high.For that reason alone...I wont be back. I was charged approximately $500 in labor to install a deck and back up camera. The deck was $299 and thr back up camera was free.Other than the installation price...my experience was pretty good.

Got a great deal on detailing, friendly and super helpful staff, would completely recommend great price for how good their detailing is, definitely go for coming to them directly instead of Groupon, got even more for my moneys worth! 👍👍👍

Excellent customer service! We have been coming here for over 25 years for all our car audio and special effect needs. We’ve never had a bad experience. Most recently we’ve added sound and light systems to our sons first car and again, we’re very happy with everything. The manager and crew are very knowledgeable and helpful with everything and answering all our questions. We love Lynnwood Car Toys!! 🚗 🎶

First off, I was told that I had to make an appointment (totally expected and normal, especially during quarantine), but when I arrived expecting to kill time nearby for the hour or two I was initially quoted, I was told to come back in 5-6 hours. I ended up having to call my sister to come pick me up a half hour from her house and drive me home. This alone wouldnt have been the biggest deal, just an inconvenience, but the detailing itself was sub-par.I think an important distinction to make here is the difference between getting your car cleaned and getting your car detailed. Our car is clean. Its vacuumed and wiped down, but it was definitely *not* detailed. First of all, I paid $80 for a groupon for a supposed $130 detailing value. There is a note that pet hair will incur an extra cleaning fee and, to be fair, there was a good amount of dog hair in our car. I expected $30-40 extra since at the end of the day, its just a question of vacuuming. Cut to the billing process and I was charged $85 *on top of* the amount Id already spent just to vacuum up dog hair. Add in taxes, etc, and I was billed $106 on the day. Just to recap, that means I spent $186 (which would have been $236 without the Groupon). In my opinion, nearly $200 and 5 hours should mean that all the little things have been cleaned, too. Im not sure what was done other than vacuuming (which they did well) and wiping down windows (they were still dirty at the tops) because the cupholders were still dirty, the back center console hadnt been touched, the area around the gearshift that collects all sorts of dust, etc, was still dirty, the space between the seats and the center console was missed. Maybe they just legitimately dont have the tools that most detailing places are expected to have and couldnt get the harder to reach places? Im not sure, but I can absolutely say it was not worth $200. Next time Ill just have our kids vacuum the car. Theyll do the same job for $20 worth of pizza.
