We recently had 24 new windows installed by WA Energy at our home and the quality of the windows and their Sales and Installation Teams were fantastic. They completed the installation in a few days which was faster than we expected. They always showed up when promised and cleaned up every day when finished as if they hadnt done major demo that day. We compared 5 window companies and WA Energy was the most professional in their explanation and pricing. They didnt make us feel like we were dealing with a used car salesperson like a few of the other vendors we heard from. The new windows were manufactured in the time period we were told to expect. We just love our new windows and we feel the finished product looked more impressive than the sample window we were shown. We would recommend WA Energy without hesitation.
Dont Use!!! When our generator stopped working from a dead battery, we saw a phone number sticker for Wa Energy services who had originally installed the unit. After waiting 2 weeks, the tech came, spent less than 3 minutes looking at our generator before stating the unit was ruined from the dead battery and gave us a bid for $15,000 to replace it. $10,000 for a new generator and $5000 for labor. A new online comparable is $5000!We appreciated competency and honesty and were so happy when we called Chris with The Generator Doctor who came out and maintained and replaced the battery for a fraction of WES bid!
This company takes no responsibility for their work. They had a technician diagnose my not working hot water heater. They ordered a part and came and installed it a few days later to find that that part didnt fix it. They wont remove the new part and put the old one back in and they wont leave your property until you pay. Management claims they are not responsible because the diagnosis was done by the manufacturer since their technician called their help line, but they are happy to charge you a diagnosis fee although apparently their technician did nothing.
The initial quote is very informative, inspector gave a lot options with details and estimates. Prices are reasonable. Installation guys are polite and professional. The customer service is good as well, I had some feedback on the wiring, they talked to me immediately and made a schedule immediately in the coming week. Highly recommended!
[update: since posting my reviews, a manager reached out, and it turns out they had refunded the overcharge, but never bothered to tell me, and my project advisor made it seem like it hadnt been refunded because he kept just saying he was looking into it for the past 2 months. So, communication was very poor, both internally within WES and with me. To be fair, the manager has done a good job trying to make things right and the window installation itself went very well, but I still cant give a positive review since my overall experience was bad. Below is my original review] I was overcharged for my window installation, and more than 2 months and 7 follow up emails with my project advisor Lino Constantino about it, the overcharge has not been corrected. I dont mean I paid too much for what I got, I mean they charged me more than the amount in the signed contract. They acknowledged the error but have simply refused to correct it. It has also taken an excessively long time to complete the installation - it will have been a FULL YEAR from when they first came out to when it will (hopefully) finally be over. They first came out to measure Jan 26, and I had to follow up a week later to get the quote; after months of delay we finally had a signed contract in place April 7. Then 4 more months of waiting until the installation finally happened July 12. Except they didnt have the screens. They finally installed the screens on Sept 14, after a summer of bugs filling my house (I dont have AC, so keeping windows shut was not an option). Except thats not the end of it--one of the screens didnt fit, so they had to order a different one, and I just found out that wont be ready until January or February. If you want terrible, slow service and to be overcharged, choose WES. If not, I recommend going elsewhere. I will never hire WES again.
I had all my home window glass replaced and a new patio door installed. Brian, Evan and Vince were the best...on time, professional, efficient, careful with my wood floors and helpful with my requests. The scheduling, communication and paperwork throughout the process was excellent. Couldnt be happier with my decision!
Washington Energy installed a 24 kilowatt generator, replaced our heat pump, and converted our furnace to propane,The technicians were knowledgable, courteous, and always willing to answer questions. They did a great job; I highly recommend them to anyone needing their services.Howard and Sammy McKay
Over the last few years, we have purchased many windows and doors from this company, including cutting and framing custom windows in our home. The products are good quality for a good price, and the company ensures the job is done to our satisfaction. Weve had a few different installers, but I wanted to give a special shout-out to Jerry and Austin, who did a great job of putting in our custom windows. Jerry is the lead craftsman and is highly skilled, with a high level of integrity and high standard of quality. Make sure to treat him well, WES!
Update:Customer service team responded positively to my concern and Aaron worked with me on plan to get my Water Heater replaced. I am happy with them making sure that my concerns are addressed. Will recommend working with this business.========================================================I got HVAC tune-up done from Washington energy services last week and technician used my Water heater to connect to Hose without my consent and caused damage to Heater in the process. I have 2 hose points for my home both within 100 feet from service area and there is no need to use Water heater for this. In the middle of service I even informed service person that I have Hose point and still he mentioned that he is nearly done and use it for another hour. During his usage there is some glass damage to heater and it started leaking after he left. I got many inconsistent updates on from Washington energy services support call. Totally unprofessional service.
Our technician Pat Carr was tremendousVery professional and sensitive explaining all functions he was performing .I have been with Washington energy since 1991 and always impressed with the professionalism
I had my AC unit installed by WES about 10 years ago. It was manufactured by York. The unit was hardly used after installed. We decided to turn it on during a hot summer day in 2020. It barely delivered the cold air. After called WES, the technician showed up and conducted the diagnoses. Told me that it is better to install a new unit than repair it. Out of shock, I insisted to repair it than replace with a new unit. He told me that it probably leaked somewhere and needs to conduct a leak tracking test. It will cost me around 420.00 plus the diagnose fee. The parts and labor will be extra after the issues found. I turned down the tracking test and insisted him add extra refrigerant to it.Ill try elsewhere to have issues resolved! After got the call from service manager next day, I think he is very serious and proud about his products and services offered. I may not agree with him in some points. But WES deserved 3 stars instead of one.
WES provided a complete furnace and water heater replacement. WES had the best price (of 4 bidders) with no surprise adds. Crew arrived on time, went to task and completed installation quickly and professionally. They were very considerate about noise, knowing that there were four of us in class or at work during the install. Highly recommend WES to anyone needing system replacement. Thanks for the Veteran discount. Much appreciated.
Washington Energy Services has done a phenomenal job with our huge siding project. In the past 2 years, they have also done great work replacing our furnace, adding air conditioning, and replacing our hot water heater. Always the most professional, from the initial estimate to the planning phase to the construction on site. Every project we got multiple bids from other companies and with every project, we hired WES. I highly recommend this company for any home project.
Washington Energy was amazing! Starting with the estimate and ending with the install team, everyone was so friendly and professional. The team did an incredible job with what seemed to be a fairly complicated installation. I would highly recommend Washington Energy to anyone that needed work done.
Could not be happier with the service, professionalism, detailed explanation of choices and the fair price.
The only company we trust. Our first furnace lasted 25 years and still working but decided to retire it 😄 From Kevin, the Project Advisor, to the installers, electrician, to the test technician, everyone were professional, courteous, very detailed and efficient. Excellent Customer Service, you get emails and calls to follow up on each service. Even the city inspector said they did a good job!My husband and I are very satisfied! Highly recommendable.
They installed a couple of gas fireplace inserts and did a terrific job overall! Very smart, professional, clean, respectful crew. We love the results.
The whole experience has been great. Sales had great communication and options, service was solid on the install, good follow up process. They even worked with me post sale to install a better thermostat, couldnt say enough good stuff about them. Thank you Washington Energy and specifically Robert Mosso! I will be sending all my referrals to you.
Washington Energy Services is by far the most honest, efficient and professional companies around. We had a new hot water heater and a new A/C installed into an existing central heating/duct system and a split on the third floor. Prices beat the competition, a full crew executed on time, and even though a few adjustments were needed from estimate to execution (product placement, not cost) everything was perfect. I also had to call back for a few simple items and they were there in hours not days. We are considering using them for new windows as well, very good company to work with. Great teams.
With a 20+ year old home, we knew a new furnace was coming soon. After getting bids and talking to several companies, we decided to use Washington Energy Services. The pricing was close but they weren’t the lowest or highest, but they were the most responsive and I felt very good about the product. The install went as planned and we are very happy with everything,
Had air conditioning installed last November, as part of that installation they decided to change out the filter box on the stack because they mangled the existing one, which meant that the stack of filters I had on hand are now worthless. I was told not to worry, as they would automatically be sending me replacement filters quarterly for the next year because they changed the filter box, and if I wanted I could extend the service after that. Well we are now 4 months out from that, I have received nothing, I have sent a half dozen emails requesting status and they cant even reply. I cant really justify rating lower than 3 stars though because the technicians that came out to do the work were stellar, and all my interactions with people have been great, it is just getting them to actually engage that can be a nightmare.
We selected the water heater bid from Washington Energy Services for the following reasons (1) the lady who provided the quote was super responsive and professional. She answered all my questions clearly and timely. The quote was in paper (not texted or verbal) (2) This is a local business since the 50s. They are not a national chain. (3) Their price was reasonable (not the lowest but the 2nd lowest). (4) They can install in the very next day. When the service crew came, they are very professional too, finished installing the new water heater in 2.5 hours. The installation also included earthquake straps, drain pan, etc. I am not an expert, but the area was clean and tidy. Lets see how long this water tank will last.
We had a great experience with Washington Energy Services. We had to replace our water heater and our furnace at the same tie and worked with Charles Hassa throughout the process and he did an amazing job. From the beginning Charles explained our options in pricing and type and we never felt pressured to do a particular option. There were some glitches with City permitting and Charles explained those and worked through it with us. The installers worked efficiently and got everything done on time and were happy to answer our questions. Even after all the work was done, Charles went above and beyond by making and installing a special compartment to cover the new pipes that now came up from our chimney to make it more aesthetically pleasing. I would highly recommend Charles and Washington Energy Services!
We had a great experience working with the professionals of Washington Energy Services. Each person on the team was friendly, personable, and excellent workers. Definitely a job well-done. We are very happy with our new Heat Pump and Furnace system. We would definitely recommend using Washington Energy Services to friends and acquaintances. In fact, we already have.
I had a very pleasant experience with WES. From the first visit by Martin, the Home Project Advisor, to the installers Chris and Dustin, the journeyman electrician, Jim and Landria, electrician. Everyone was so pleasant and professional. We had our water heater, furnace and AC replaced at the same time. I was a bit nervous to pursue this project because of the cost and never knowing how things will turn out. Im so happy that everything worked out well. It took practically all day to complete everything, but when Chris and Dustin finished it was like a weight was off my shoulders. Everything was well installed and they cleaned up after themselves. Electrician, Jim, explained what he needed to do to bring the AC wiring up to code. When he finished the wiring I inspected it and was very pleased with the job. Overall, I would definitely recommend WES. Their costs are very competitive and even less than I anticipated. I only have good things to say about them. Thank you very much WES.
I could not have been more pleased with the guys who came and did the installation of my unit. They were extremely pleased in how they handled this installation. They covered the carpet with tarts or used covers on their shoes when entering the rooms. They also wore masts which was greatly appraised. They were businesslike in going the installation. I was explained on the operation of the unit. All in all, a great experience.
They do a great job installing the units and that’s where it endsWhen you have service done you don’t get the parts. In February they promised a new filter its August and its still not here Then when you call them on it it just showed up and they say it’s shipping that day (doubt it)When you call for service they schedule you out a month and then tell you if your willing to pay an extra 200 they will come earlyTalked to a few people who use to work there and they comment is the company is going downhillIn the past I recommend this company. I no longer will and recommend people find someplace else
I have used Washington Energy Services for my familys heating and cooling needs in two houses. Most recently their team replaced our heater and added an intake vent, which also make our AC work a lot better. Their teams are always on time, professional and great to work with. I would recommend Washington Energy Services to anyone looking to update their heating/cooling in their homes!
I am a real estate agent, and my clients that were buying a home needed to have the furnace inspected and serviced. Jennifer Price and her team got it set up immediately and the technician showed up on time and found there was a part that needed to be replaced, and he had the right part with him so the work was completed on the spot. I would highly recommend Washington Energy Services!
Called on Sunday about my water heater leaking. I was given a quote, tech support for stopping the leak, and a Monday appointment for replacement. Other companies offer no emergency Sunday service. All of the customer service was professional. I was without hot water only for a short time due their quick response. I am a very satisfied customer.
Washington Energy came for a warranty replacement of a board for our heat pump. Apparently for this repair they are supposed to buy it direct from the manufacturer, which is out of stock. Ive been waiting without our home heating/ventilation since August (the current ETA for this part is end of October). The ETA has changed several times, but it is their policy to not look for the board anywhere else.
The replacement of our HVAC system went without a hitch!. The entire team was very friendly, helpful and professional. Special shout-out to Jennifer and Gary for exceptional service!
Stellar service from the quote to the finished product. We had a few things done - our furnace was already set up for A/C, done by WES back in 2008, so we need to finish out the project finally and actually install the outside condenser, the inside A/C set up, and a new condensate pump. While they were doing this, they discovered a problem with our fuse box (that was original to our 1971 home) and gave us a great deal on a new one that Lorin and Bryce just got done installing. Everyone was professional, respectful of our home and yards, fast, thorough and downright fun to work with. The whole project was not cheap - about $16,000 total, but done right and on our time frame, and at the midway point for bids. We would, and will, absolutely use them again!
I used WESs service 6 months ago to replace my ignitor in heating system with error code 11. Two weeks ago, error code 11 showed up again. I called WES, and technicians were sent quickly within 2 hours. Micah/Brent are very professional and efficient. Turns out its gas pressure issue, even though they still uninstalled all the parts and did a fantastic maintenance work. And they didnt charge for the service.Would highly recommend WES!
They installed air conditioning and were very professional. During covid19 they were careful wearing masks, shoe covers, and distancing. We are very happy with every step of the process. We are really impressed with Victor who took care of each step taken. Great follow up.
The sales man gave me a price for the standard model (14 SEER) but for$500 more I could get a better unit (16 SEER) that was more efficient. I went ahead and bought the up graded unit. After it was installed I checked all the paperwork that came with it and noticed that it was only rated at 14 SEER. I called the salesman and asked him why I didnt get the 16 SEER? He said in order to get16 SEER I would have to upgrade my furnace. I asked him why he didnt tell me that when I bought the upgraded unit and he didnt have a good answer. So basically I paid an extra $500 for something I couldnt use. Not happy!
We had a bit of a complex situation and the WA Energy team, including the CEO, went all out to get the work done in a timely fashion. The quality of their install is top notch and we very happy with the responsiveness and urgency with which they completed the project. We found their pricing to be competitive as well. Highly recommended! Many thanks to their entire crew: Jon, Phil, Will, Ronan, Gary, Adam, and Craig Jr..
Washington Energy installed our Daikin LV Heat Pump Mini Split AC just before the summer heat and we love it. They showed up on time and were very professional and efficient. The installers listened to our concerns and explained the operation really well. They wore masks inside which we appreciated. The pricing was competitive. The Mini Split has been keeping our place nice and cool and the outside unit is nice and quiet. We would definitely recommend this company!
Washington Energy does boast about being the best in the business. They have great public exposure, warranties, rebates, craftsmen installers, and excellent service department. They are prompt and precise. So with that, we decided to pay a little more than other estimates to get an excellent install for a high efficiency boiler, new water heater, and new windows upstairs. They were able to completely revamp our existing brass water lines and electrical with a high tech boiler that takes in outside air and exhausts to outside without a chimney hookup. All this with one company doing excellent workmanship. They are who they brag about being. Happy in Fircrest, Wa
Technicians that came out were professional and made sure everything done was accomplished in a safe manor.
Professional, knowledgeable, courteous, and friendly. We had one issue, the original measurements taken by their sales rep for the surround were incorrect. Their customer service rep troubleshot the problem and had us a new one in one day. When they ran into an electrical problem, the supervisor was there within the hour. We had great service. We love our new fireplace gas insert.
We had two French sliding doors installed recently and plan to have our front door replaced soon. Everyone was professional and helpful. Our sales rep Todd answered all our questions. Todd and Kevin were very helpful when choosing styles, features and finishes that look great and function well for our needs. I can feel overwhelmed when faced with multiple options and their input made me feel confident in our choices. The office staff were great at setting an appointment that worked with our schedule and keeping us informed when our front door did not meet Washington Energy Services quality inspection (wrong color) and needed to be reordered. The installation team Jerry and Joe were friendly and efficient - they were able to complete both doors in one day. They explained all the features and made sure I was satisfied with the finished doors before leaving. Work site was left clean and we love our new doors!
Similar prices, better equipment, wonderful workmen (happy, professional, instructive, clean) and timely. Adrian E., Anthony and Bobby make a GREAT TEAM !Thank you very much, will tell everyone how happy we are!
I contracted with Washington Energy Services to install a split heat pump system in part of my home in Seattle. Overall, they did a great job. The estimator was knowledgeable and let me know about many options without pressuring me into any specific one. Their rates were the best among the contractors that submitted bids. Between making the deposit and starting work, the office staff were pretty responsive and helpful. The crew arrived on the scheduled date and were very professional. They were also flexible in terms of making adjustments to the plans to work around issues found during installation. The things that went wrong were in the initial charging of refrigerant in the heat pump and in not securing the condenser to the building. They had to come back the next day to finish the refrigerant installation, and it wasnt until inspection that I found out that the condenser had to be secured. Overall, Id recommend them.
We recently had Washington Energy Services out to install six new windows in our 1915 home.Everything about our experience was absolutely professional and about as easy as it could have been. Our sales rep, Nick, was excellent to work with. Very low pressure, informative, and knowledgable. The office staff who handled the scheduling was prompt and professional the entire time, even when I completely missed a voice mail message from them and it took me over a week to notice it. :-)The installers were possibly the most delightful of any installers I’ve ever had in y home. Brian and Matt were respectful and careful of our three indoor cats, cleaned up so well, there was no evidence they’d even been here when they were done (other than the new windows), and were done ahead of schedule. There was one problem with our order. Our bathroom window arrived without the frosted lower pane that was ordered. As soon as Brian and Matt noticed this, they put in a call to the office, and we had a replacement pane ordered within minutes. Two weeks later, another installer whose name I don’t remember, came out and it took him all of five minutes to replace the clear pane with the frosted one.I was very satisfied with the price, the professionalism, and the speed with which Washington Energy services worked, and I’ll definitely be using them again for future work in my home.
Had tankless water heater installed with WES. They had good rates and completed the job on time and with good quality and attention to detail.
The team arrived and started right away. They were very professional and cleaned up after they finished. I am very satisfied with the work and the team that did the installation. Thank you!
Washington Energy Services installed air conditioning in our home. Their bid was competitive. The salesperson and installers were professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. They left our home/job site immaculately clean at the end of each day. And they finished the job on time. We will definitely work with them again.
Quick and reasonable service
Pat and Josh, WES technicians came out to service the heat pump and check out the furnace. In the meantime; Cary their supervisor came to the job site as well. I got some excellent suggestions from Cary and Pat in regard to the air duct flow situation in my basement since I had a split level home. All in all; Pat, Cary and Josh were friendly; patient and extremely helpful. Thanks for a great job!
I recently moved into a new home and realized that the ducts were filthy and that the furnace had no record of being serviced since it was installed 4 years ago. I called WES and spoke to a very polite and knowledgeable woman named Kelly who told me she could schedule one appointment to have my ducts cleaned and the furnace tuned up at the same time, which the other two companies I spoke to couldnt do. She was able to set the appointment for the exact date and time frame I was looking for. I received a confirmation email shortly after. The day of my appointment I received a call from the technician saying he would be arriving within a half hour. Pat Carr and his assistant Jacob arrived right on time. They greeted me and before entering my home they put on shoe covers, which I really appreciated. Pat walked me through the whole process of what they needed to do and let me know it would take about 2 hours to complete. Once my filthy ducts were all cleaned they went to work on my furnace which included removing the blower motor and pressure washing it. Pat did an excellent job coaching Jacob every step of the way and they worked very efficiently. After they were done and everything was put back together Jacob went around to my heat registers and my return air vents and checked the temperatures with a heat gun to ensure that everything was running properly. I thought this was a great way to show that the system was running as well as it could. Pat was able to run my payment on the spot and I received my receipt via email within 30 seconds. I really couldnt have asked for a better experience. Everyone at WES definitely went above and beyond but made it seem like thats just business as usual for them. Ill definitely be recommending them to others. Thanks Washington Energy Services!
A little late of schedule but the speed & quality of work was excellent. The company staff and the installers were very polite and always arrived to start the job on time. The materials looked great! They did an excellent job overall! Thank you Washington Energy Services! We wont hesitate to contact you the next time well need your help!
I had a great experience with Christopher Johnson this morning when he performed yearly maintenance on my furnace. In addition to regular checking, he cleaned filters and cleaned, repaired, and restarted the cleaner, which had gone off, making sure it was working before he left. I was impressed with his friendly, but professional manner. I trust my furnace to Washington Energy Services.
Washington Energy Services came out to do a routine check and maintenance on our 20+ year old high-efficiency furnace. The technician arrived promptly and was very courteous in explaining what he was looking for and what he found. We were greatly reassured by his visit and recommend them highly
We scheduled our furnace replacement between two snow storms, but they came on time and did a great job. The workers were courteous and worked well. They didnt treat me like I didnt know anything just because Im a woman, and when my husband got home they didnt switch to only talking to him. I would highly recommend WES.
I scheduled a maintenance visit with this company for our gas fireplace. They were able to schedule me expediently, within 2 days of my phone call. The gentleman doing the repair called 30 min in advance to make me aware of his arrival. This was within the arrival window. He was courteous and patiently answered numerous questions I had. He took the time to explain the working parts of the furnace. He actually improved the aesthetics of the unit too! Finished the job in the time allotted. Very pleased with the company and Pats professionalism.
Recently had WES install a ductless heat pump (heat & AC) in the attic. I live in an old house (1929) so WES had to cut holes in the upstairs ceilings for the cold air return and for each vent. The team did an excellent job: timely, courteous, and tidy. I love the new unit. If I had it to do over again, I would definitely use WES. Highly recommend.
Rico, a WES technician, called to see if he could arrive a few minutes early. I really appreciated that, since I had just arrived home from errands. He thoroughly checked my year old system (which I love) and the water pressure coming from my well. He said everything was working as it should be. From start to finish, WES has been an excellent company to work with.
This is the second time we do windows installation with WES. We had a pretty good experience first time around. The team were nice, but the end result (caulking etc) was not as neat as we expected to be. However, it wasnt that bad. This time around we had to replace our window wall to tempered glass. Ben and the team did such a wonderful job! The new glass windows looks very nice and they did such a neat job. They also made sure their working space were cleaned up after, and not only that, they also put the windows blinds back. I dont think it was part of their job, but they did it for us. They were very courteous and good/polite-mannered. Overall, just a great experience with this team. Ben and his team pleasantly exceed our expectations.
We had 20 windows and two sliders replaced and new interior trim installed; WA Energy Services did a fabulous job! Our salesperson answered every question we came up with and provided timely responses. Two crews were sent out to get the work done in two days. The guys were courteous, clean and on time! They completed the project in a methodical way and checked in at the end of day one to make sure we were happy (and of course at our sign off walk through at the end). It is SO refreshing to actually be happy with a job at its completion. The windows and trim look (and function) great! Thank you!
Our windows are exactly what we expected and we are extremely happy with them. Everyone from Nick that came out to show us the windows and explain the process, to Ben the Installer and everyone in between as been great to work with and very helpful. I love the fact that I always had Nick that I could email when I had questions. There was a bit of a backlog with the windows being made but now that they are in, it was worth the wait!!
We asked WES to send someone out to our home to advise us regarding the possibility of installing a tank-less water heater in place of our current aging tank. Tristan came out and gave us an in depth assessment of our options, including the pros and cons of each possibility. At no time did we feel any pressure to buy anything or sign up for anything. The evening after he visited eh sent us several proposals for our review (per our request). We contacted Tristan several times over the next few days, with follow-up questions, and he was always quick to respond with clear, comprehensive answers. We were very impressed with Tristans breadth and depth of knowledge, as well as his professional friendly attitude. That kind of service is so refreshing! We have had similar positive experience with WES folks in the past, so perhaps it is their companys culture to focus on customer service and satisfaction. In any case, it is much appreciated.
Washington Energy Services did an amazing job on our difficult water heater install job. Our water heater was installed behind the furnace in a difficult to reach location - the installers had to lift the old water heater up and over the furnace, and then lower the new one down into the same spot. Then they had to lower the metal stand so the heater could fit height-wise, and redo the earthquake straps to match the new stand height. They did an amazing job and even though it took a long time to get it right, they stood by their original estimate. Thank you!
We are a nonprofit that provides free school clothes to local low-income students. Washington Energy Services is an amazing community partner! They host a warm clothing drive to benefit Clothes For Kids each year, and this winter they donated a brand-new furnace and air conditioner for our shop. Washington Energy is an excellent local business that really supports our community.
I loved working with Charles. He was very knowledgeable and took the time to walk me through the process of installing and the WES company beliefs. I really valued his time and commitment to understanding the variety of products and services they provide. They truly are a one stop shop for what I am looking for and will be sure to give them all the business I can :)Thank you Charles!
We are remodeling and looking at better quality exterior and interior doors. Will Beck was so helpful regarding products and our desires, needs, and concerns in this consultation. His wisdom and professional input were greatly appreciated. We will not install until after the cabinets, tile, appliances, & floors etc. complete and in place, as I do not want the doors damaged. But talking with our designer again regarding styles, we will lock in an order for the future.
Everyone I interacted with at Washington Energy Services was professional and personable. This included the Home Energy Specialist who provided us the estimate, the accounting staff who helped expedite our order, the scheduler, and the installers. The lead installer, David Stockton, was very competent and friendly. I contacted three plumbers for bids to replace our old water heater and Washington Energy Services was the lowest bid and their service was great.
WES installed a new furnace last year, replacing a 20-year-old furnace. Also my 4-year old tankless water heater had been giving trouble that my previous service company could not resolve. WES had the trained, knowledgeable technicians to do an excellent job with both systems. They came yesterday for the one-year maintenance of both systems - arrived on time, courteous and friendly, and most important, knowledgeable and trained to do the work.
We had a problem with the heat pump we bought 2 yrs ago. Questionable as to whether or not the warranty should cover it. Robert, the service tech went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. His support people backed him up and we are up and running again. Thats why you use a reputable company like Washington Energy Services. Many thanks.
Disappointing is the best word to describe my overall experience with this company. My furnace went out the first day of the snowstorm in January. I thought it was because it was in the 20s outside and my furnace wouldnt keep up with the extreme cold. However, my Nest kept saying it was in the mid-50s inside my house for days. I finally did a quick Google search furnace people and Washington Energy Services was highly rated and it was just down the street from my house so I thought it would be prompt and quick service. I called and got a same-day house visit to see what is wrong with my furnace. They were able to diagnose the problem and said they would order the part and call me for a follow-up visit to install said product. I got a call the next day saying that the technician didnt acquire all the information needed and another technician had to come out and confirm the part to be replaced. Because of my work schedule and the weekend they had to come out 5 days later. Both technicians were nice and I asked the 2nd technician how long it would take and he couldnt say because he said the part could be sitting on the shelf or they may have to order it. A few days went by and I heard no response so I went ahead and called and they said the part is scheduled to arrive on February 3, about 2 weeks later. I was a bit surprised and the lady on the phone could care less that I had to do without heat for 2 more weeks. February 3 rolled by and so did Feb 4 and Feb 5. I had to leave the country for a 2-week vacation to Australia and New Zealand so I had to have my roommate take care of the furnace while I was gone. He was able to get in touch with them and the part was delayed for another week or so. I came back from overseas and still no heat and still no word from Washington Energy Services. I finally got a call on February 20, 17 days after the first expected delivery date of the product. I WAS WITHOUT HEAT FOR OVER A MONTH. What if I had a newborn in the house? What if I were elderly? What if I was a school or government office or small business? Do you expect someone to live without heat for a whole month in the middle of winter? It would have been nice to know that it could take weeks or months to get my furnace fixed. Ive been left with a very sour taste of Washington Energy Services and I would look into another company in the future for my furnace needs.**UPDATE: I received a call the next day from a manager who sincerely apologized for the less than stellar service and didnt want me to leave with a sour taste of Washington Energy Services in my mouth and offered a free maintenance check next year and to look into how they can improve their business practices. I do appreciate them reaching out to me and I am willing to give them another shot.
Had an Bryant AC unit installed at my residence and had excellent service. The installation went very smoothly. Workmanship was A1. All areas were completely cleaned up. Technicians explained what they were doing when i asked questions. After completion, the technicians explained the operation of the new thermostat and helped me set up the bluetooth feature so I can remotely set temperature. I had a question the next day and a technician was able to help me over the phone. 100% satisfied. Inspections for electrical and mechanical were easy to set up and they came the next day on schedule. WES installed my York furnace several years ago with absolutely no problems.
The WES technician came by on schedule for the annual furnace maintenance which we had set up months previously. Really friendly service technician who was quick and efficient. Explained his findings in a very clear manner. Really appreciated his openness and candor. But this is what we have always received from WES. Great folks.
Website States the specialize in Multi-Family, but when i contacted them today i was told they do not service commercial customers. How can you advertise specifically that you tailor your service to a specific clientele, but then deny them service. Keeping your website accurate would seem to be a top priority as most of us now a days rely on reviews, and websites when choosing vendors.
Our heat pump was stopping intermittently so we called WES since the unit was installed by them by the previous owners. I had already diagnosed the problem (thanks google) and knew it was a $30 part and only two screws to replace it. I figured I would have the heat pump serviced and they could replace the part then.Well, once everything was done, I was handed a $300 bill. I knew the price of a service call so I thought there must be a mistake but no, they charged me for a service call, extra labor for installing the part (2 screws) and an astounding $140 for the part ($30 retail). The technician hadnt been there longer than 20 minutes total. I called the service manager to verify all of the charges and they explained that was the standard rate and everything was correct.Im glad this experience happened to me on just a service call. The technician told me that with the age of my heat pump, it will need to be replaced sometime in the near future. Whenever this happens, I know that I will save myself from being bent over by Washington Energy Services again and call a reputable HVAC company instead.
Great experience with purchase of hot water heater from estimate (Kelly Palmer) to installation (David Stockton). Competitors bids were higher for lesser products. Permits pulled by Washington Energy Services and city inspection passed with no issues. The entire process was seamless and cost less expensive than competitors.
Ross cleaned our heating ducts with great skill and professional manner. When I told him no air had been coming through one of our registers he took it upon himself to troubleshoot the problem which involved crawling further into a narrowing crawlspace through certain levels of rat remains to discover the duct had become disconnected. He reconnected the duct and the heat now flows freely to our bathroom. Thanks, Ross, for going the extra mile (or in this case few feet) to solve the problem.
I had an electric hot water tank installed. The worker called 30 minutes ahead to let me know they are on there way. Two workers arrived on time . After the initial meet and greet. I left them alone to do the job. When they were done, they gave me a run down on the new tank and how long I could expect to get hot water. They left no mess. Dave and Jarrod were great. The price was a bit below the other estimates I received. I had Washington Energy install my previous tank, I had them install this tank and Ill have them install my next tank. What a great experience.
Washington Energy is my go to company for all our services. We purchased a water heater from them several years ago and we have used them for our furnace, heat pump and fireplace maintenance and couldnt be more pleased. From scheduling to completing all their work it was a very pleasant experience. Very professional, competent and friendly employees. We will continue to use Washington Energy Services for all our service needs.
These guys installed AC for me and replaced my furnace at the same time. Gotta say Im impressed. Showed up on time and always called before they got here to let me know where they were. Jon, Patrick, Gary and Travis are great to work with and all good at what they do. I was impressed with the installation they performed so am having them look into a potential plumbing issue they brought to my attention during the install.
This is the second time I have chosen Washington Energy Services for a new product installation. I appreciate their professional work. Each time someone has come out they are very thorough, explain how everything works and really make sure they dont leave a mess.I highly recommend Washington Energy Services.
They kept me informed on dates and times when arriving. Once at the house they went over what was to be done. They installed my water heater without a hitch and to code...The installers were all very professional and courteous. I couldnt ask for better customer service and support. They are now scheduled to redo my crawl space. Happy customer...
The entire process was seamless, the sales representative went into great detail and spent a good deal of time with us, answered all of our questions, made certain that we understood the products and the process and offered three value based proposals. The installation crew was on time, courteous and efficient. Every associate that we dealt with was friendly and eager to help in any way that they could. I would definitely recommend Washington Energy Services to friends and family who were considering purchasing a new HVAC system.
Washington Energy Services is TOPS!Cory from Washington Energy Services went above and beyond in providing exceptional customer service in the replacement of our Hot Water Heater. Cory says modestly, though, its what we do, just all in a days work! I truly need 10 Stars to adequately describe my experience from the initial call to an extremely helpful and congenial, Judy, to Cory the magnificent! No this is not a made up review! I am a real customer who is REALLY satisfied. Did I mention that Cory came after-hours (who does that anymore?!) to make sure we had hot water. Cory was thoroughly professional in the performance of his duties, and before leaving made sure the new - 50 Gallon, High Efficiency - VERY reasonably priced, Hot Water Heater was functioning properly. I truly cannot thank Judy, Cory and Washington Energy Services enough. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Washington Energy for any services they provide.
This was my first experience with Washington Energy Services and they are fantastic! I had a gas line run from the meter to hook up a used gas oven/range in the kitchen and the job was done right away and it cost less than expected. The office people are very friendly and easy to reach and the installers are very professional and nice also. Marcus was especially helpful when the range burners did not light right away and he got those running at no extra charge. They are the best in my opinion!
The team that installed our new furnace did an excellent job. They were efficient, quick, clean, and did a good job of explaining what was being done and going over all the needed information after the installation was complete. I would choose Washington Energy Services again for furnace replacement.
Isaac from Washington Energy Services came to our house for a service call for our furnace. He was prompt, gave me a call when he was on the way, and was super nice! Not only was he able to figure out the problem and solve it quickly, he gave me tons of super useful information regarding not only our furnace but other house stuff (Im a new homeowner). I appreciated the time he took to give me all the information and was more than impressed overall with the experience. I will definitely considered going through WES again when it is time for us to replace our furnace.
WA Energy recently put five windows and three doors on my house in Shoreline. They know what theyre doing, thats for sure, and the final work is beautiful! Siding is next. The house benefited from combining products for discounts. .
I ordered 20 windows for our home and addition. The quality of the windows and the installation is very good! The communication through the sales process is good. But the delivery/scheduling process was the worst experience I have even had with any supplier. To start with they didnt order the windows and didnt discover that fact until 2 months later--the day before the scheduled installation. Then they missed 3 installation dates. When they finally did show up one window was broken and another was 12 too big. This put us way behind in our schedule with all the other vendors. They need a serious overhaul of how they process orders before I would use them again.
Washington Energy Services replaced our windows - in January - with minimal impact to our everyday living. A professional team protected our floors, and cleaned up everything when they were done. The new windows look great, and we already notice a difference in sound transfer and heat retention in the house.
The consultant arrived at the specified time, and he went over the options I had for the placement of the various pieces of equipment, and answered the questions I had at the time. He said hed have the bid done by the end of the week, but I had an email sooner than that. The bid was clear and spelled out ll the possibilities. He quickly answered my emails with my additional questions. Very professional.
WES installers installed a new gas furnace to replace a 35 year old unit. Anthony and Josh were efficient and considerate. The job was completed on time, old unit hauled away and clean up was good. Im very satisfied.
I had a oil to gas conversion plus a AC unit installed. I wanted to move the furnace location so we also had to rebuild some duct work. Washington Energy was the only company that quoted me a reasonable price and did not try to jack up the price for no reason like the other 4 companies I talked with. This alone is a good reason to choose them. Their sales people are quick to respond and well educated on the products they sell. Their installers care about what they do and want to make the customer happy. They did very high quality work and made things exactly how I wanted it and even helped me plan for the future when I eventually fully finish the basement. I will be using them for future projects and would highly recommend them.
Washington Energy Services are the ones to call!! We had a gas generator hooked up to our house by Chris and Eddy. They were super friendly, extremely helpful and knowledgeable, very efficient and paid careful attention to detail!! We couldnt have asked for a better team!! They cleaned up and left like they were never even there. The completion walkthrough was very informative and Chris left us feeling confident with the new addition to our house. We couldnt be more thankful! Thank you Washington Energy Services and a big THANK YOU to Chris and Eddy. They were delightful! I highly recommend their services!!
Ive been using Washington Energy for several years now. Theyve installed new windows, front door, standby generator, and recently a new gas fire insert. Their employees are punctual, polite, and have always done quality work. Many of them have been with the company for 10+ years which says a lot about the company. I wouldnt trust anyone else!
Washington Energy Services is a quality professional company with solid values they uphold. The staff are knowledgeable and proficient. They are courteous and respectable. I would refer this company for anyone who is looking to replace their windows of their home or business, they carry quality product that is worth every $$$. Ive heard good things about their HVAC dept also.
Im not sure why there are so many 1 star reviews, especially from people who havent even had work done. Were completely happy with the work that WES did for us almost 1 year ago.We had a bigger job to do, converting the house from electric to gas. We replaced a furnace, ducting, a hot water heater, a stove, and gas piping to the multiple new appliances/locations. It was done over the course of 2 or 3 days. They installed everything pretty quickly and were happy with the quality.I took 1 star off only because a duct was installed in the bathroom through tile floor. They had to cut the tile and didnt drape the area so there was tile dust everywhere that wasnt cleaned up. They also installed the gas pipe to the new stove in the wrong place (even after I pointed out that it was in the wrong place) which causes the stove to stick out further from the wall than it needs to. Both minor inconveniences. The actual results were right in line with what we wanted and they accomplished pretty much everything we asked. We had one issue right after they finished on like a Sunday night, they had someone come immediately... For free! Covered it under their warranty. We had an outlet they installed for the hot water heater go bad just recently, replaced it for free within 3 days (wasnt an emergency so we just scheduled it that way). They absolutely stand by their service. If youre going a remodel or upgrade, WES was our top choice and we havent regretted it for a second. You can take that for what its worth. :)
We were very pleased with the service we received. Your technician was both knowledgeable and friendly. He explained what the problem was and how he fixed our malfunctioning air conditioning unit. He deserves a five star rating.
WA Energy installed a new tankless water heater in the house were renting - they were incredibly helpful and had no issues working with both us and our out-of-town landlord. Everything went very smooth and was finished in less time than they said they needed, couldnt be happier with their services. Very professional and friendly.
The experience was great, but there are a couple of issues that prevented me from giving the full 5-star rating, which are detailed below. The windows look awesome and weve already noticed a difference in the sound and vibration we use to experience. We live near SeaTac airport flight path and our old windows (metal framed, original construction) would vibrate. After the installation weve had no rattles and the sound is much more muffled. I am also waiting for the 1st good windstorm as the old windows would whistle as the wind passed through them. Now to the issues - It seemed to take forever to get it all done. I signed the contract Nov 9 and installation was completed Jan 24th. I understand they needed to build the windows and other logistics, but it just seems like a long time. The other issue is that on the last day after the crew had left, I found both of my gates were left open. I have a dog and they need to be better aware of that issue as part of the clean-up efforts.Otherwise, the experience was great from the initial quote to final installation. I highly recommend WES.
