Was able to get an alto sax repaired within 20 minutes (right as the store opened). Staff member corrected discrepancy in online records. Fast, friendly service during covid. Our family has good memories and experiences with this place over the years our kids have been involved in various music activities.

The staff was amazing in helping me buy a new bass. However, even when I was certain of the bass I was going to buy, the salesman kept pushing me with deals on another bass I was trying for future reference. Also, when I went in for a saxophone problem that had been troubling me for quite a while, they said that it was fine, but another shop found multiple issues and was able to fix them. Overall, this store is quite professional, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

I ordered a pre-owned mixer online and had it shipped to New Jersey where I live. Ryan communicated with me quickly and pleasantly every step of the way. Not only was the mixer exactly what Id been looking for, it was also in excellent condition and very reasonably priced. I am a very satisfied customer!

I grew up alongside this store, elementary through high school I bought my reeds and clarinet equipment here. The staff is very knowledgeable I got to know some of them well over the years. I miss Kevin Collins 😢 but his famous cork grease is still sold here and so is his spirit! The repair staff are all friendly and give excellent recommendations. There is ample practice space at this location too. Get to know this business and everyone whos is apart of it, they will remember you throughout the years!

Fun to walk in and be surrounded by instruments if all kinds! I was just dropping off a used saxophone for a friend for donation. They accept used instruments for donation and coordinate with a third party to refurbish them for donation to schools.

I stopped in get new strings for my resonator guitar. I explained to the employee that I didnt know how to properly string my guitar and he took the time to show me a technique that made stringing my guitar quite simple. I really appreciate that he took the time to help me the way he did. Its employees like this that make me a return customer. Thank you!

Lydia was so helpful to me today! I needed to change a mouthpiece on my daughters trombone that is rented from them. She made it happen super fast....and was very professional and friendly after the Everett store told me it wouldnt be possible, and that we would have to purchase a new mouthpiece for $75 if the one we received (size 12) wouldnt work for my daughter!

Have taken 2 instruments there for repairs, costs were very reasonable and the staff have excellent customer service and are quite humorous. I have a hard time believing any negative feedback from Kennelly Keys, but everyone has a right to be grumpy now and then I suppose. Bottom line, I will continue doing business here.

Staff are always friendly and helpful, even if the store is crowdedl. The repair shop staff are amazing, and have always gone above and beyond to get last minute repairs done quickly. We love Kennelly Keys and are loyal customers for life!

I went into Kennelly Keys to look for a guitar about 5 minutes before they were closing, yet the salesman was still super helpful and kind. The next day when I went to pick up the guitar, the same salesman, Jarek, gave me much needed and helpful advice on how to change strings, etc. I would definitely go back and buy more instruments at this location in the future!

NEVER rent an instrument here!!! After paying A LOT of money and then finally paying it off, the instrument wasnt even worth all that money! And they dont even cover new strings or at least a bow re hair, even when you were stuck with the same old instrument (and bow) that was previously used before. DO NOT RENT ONE HERE. Rather buy one here, cause you will end up paying more for renting than just buying it. Go to some other store.

Took close to 10 minutes to have them tell me they dont carry 12AX7 preamp tubes. The most widely used preamp tube there is. Wow. You get an F

Could not be more pleased with my experience with the professionals at Kennelly Keys Music. My son has been borrowing the schools bassoon for some time and a while back I inquired about renting one. I was initially informed that they did not have rentals for bassoon and that I would have to purchase one and make monthly payments. Learning of this error, Mr Kennelly, along with Neal Stafford and Ted Norris, moved quickly to resolve the problem... On the same day they learned of it! In the end, we now have a gorgeous Schreiber bassoon that they provided as a rental on a discounted basis. There are many respectable music stores in the Greater Seattle area; however, if you are looking for the best, go directly to Kennelly Keys!!!
