I highly recommend City Wide Fence. We had a minor issue that was my fault with the install and they came out that and talked to us about it, and fixed it up right away(minor tweaks) with no additional cost. This is something you don’t see from most companies, aka you signed the contract so this is what you get. I’m glad we went with City Wide.

I conduct RFP’s for a living. After being handed, mind blowing proposals and low balled by others, City Wide was dead smack in the middle. With their no-nonsense approach, itemized proposals and professionalism, I was very comfortable with my decision to go with City Wide. These guys work fast and the results, better than expected! Last week was the second time I had City Wide build a fence on my property. You bet I’ll be calling again next spring. Oh, and the office is easy to work with. If I could give a no star or half star I would. It is surprising that a company this big is so unprofessional. They re schedule a work (that was agreed and confirmed upon three times) at the last minute, and they dont even have the decency to call to re schedule, instead they email. And then they blame us for the miscommunication, which clearly was their fault. The workers were already in front of our house on the day we agreed upon for the work, and then at the last minute, they just leave. If they cant even make that part work, how can we even trust their fence build? I am actually happy that they didnt do the job, because I am pretty sure, their fence build would have been poor as well. DO NOT choose City Wide Fence Co, if you do I assure you you will regret it.

My fence is gorgeous! I had CW install a wood fence about 5 years ago. I recently decided to extend my wood fence. They removed my old chain link and continued the wood fence and added a gate. They arrived on time, worked diligently and created a beautiful fence and gate. They are master craftspeople. No shotty work here, they were very intent on making it the best possible. They even put an extra piece of wood over a 3 opening by the post next to my house as they knew I had a small dog and didnt want her to escape. That was excellent customer service. I hired them before, I hired them now and will always hire them in the future. They are great!

I called City Wide to have a gate repair done and the guy came out to do the estimate, he seemed professional and talked like he knew what he was talking about. Then he said the estimate would be sent by email. We never received the estimate and ended up hiring someone else.Would not recommend City Wide.

The best place to get fencing supplies.

They replaced about 50 feet of fencing 10 years ago, paid for by my insurance company. It was the simplest wood fence made, two 2 x 4s with wooden pickets. They charged my insurance company over $1,600. More than half the 4 x 4s failed within 5 years, I have been repairing or replacing them for years. They did not use galvanized nails so the fence streaked immediately. They did not use treated 2 x 4s, those are failing now. I will have to replace the entire 50 feet. I routinely get 25 years plus on fences, this was a major disappointment. I will not use them again.

City Wide quoted the 2nd lowest price of the 5 that I received. They were within 20 dollars of the lowest bid, but the quality that they quoted was much higher. They use 4 1/8 posts on pipe construction which elevates the cedar up out of the concrete, which is where it rots. Look around and you will see many of their fences as evidenced by their black and yellow signs. There is a reason for that. Their fences last. I am very happy with their work.

Trust me and save yourself the headache. I spoke with two different ladies who work at the office, and both made it sound like a burden to have to be on the phone and help.I was calling in regards to a gate that they had installed about 2 years ago that is leaning and no longer latches. They informed me that they only back their work for 1 year, so that should be an indication of the lack of quality and workmanship they offer. There might as well not even be a warranty... anyone can build a fence that last 1 year.The fence itself is fine, but the work was so rushed that they didn’t take time to think through the design of the gate which has ultimately cause it to not function properly.Trust me and go with a company who does quality work rather than rushed work. Even if the alternative is more expensive, you will end up saving money in the long run.

Ok, so today was the first day of our build, and I will probably get criticized for not waiting until it is done, but... these guys are awesome!! I used to think oh, just build a fence. No! These guys are really craftsman. I know I could not understand the calculations they were doing, our terrain is not even close to level, and it looks amazing already, and its just the posts!They were conscientious, polite, and when they could have taken the quick and easy way and just chopped out my grape vines, they instead took the steps to save them.They may not have been the cheapest qoute I got, but its obvious they were the best!Thank you City Wide.

Great staff and they know there stuff

This company worked with my HOA behind my back to install a really ugly metal support post on my fence cemented with concrete in my garden. They didnt ask for permission to enter my yard and I didnt want or need the support post. They just wanted the money from the HOA.
