Over all polite and speedy service if you get there when they open for auto pickup. Only a couple people, so one to check in for returns and 1 to check out for rental. Nice folks, but need more staff.

Weve been here twice in the last month and cant thank these folks enough for the help. Jason got us hooked up fast and was super friendly. We live in Everett but it is worth the trip down here to pick up!

Danielle Epler, the general manager of this location, came onto my property and proceeded to remove a Uhaul furniture dolly off my porch claiming it was stolen from her store (we have had this dolly for over 15 years). She did this while wearing her Uhaul uniform. When we did not let her leave with the dolly, she stood outside of my home and called the police on us. Once the police arrived they informed her that she needed to leave and that she could not take the dolly. She then goes to work and proceeds to harass us with phone calls saying we need to return her dolly and threatened us with lawyers!! I am in shock that Uhaul would allow this type of person to represent their business. I have filed a formal complaint with corporate. I suggest anyone steer clear of this location

Okay so heres the deal. Youre probably looking at other reviews and thinking you should stay away from this place. Which Im not sure what happened in each individual case but I happen to have a decent experience at the time of this review. I wanted to get a trailer hitch installed and a bike rack on my Dodge Grand Caravan. I started at the location on Evergreen Way in Everett but they didnt have the tools needed to install it because there was a complication. Anyways Everett location made me want to pull my hair out and they really need to do something about that stupid call center the answers phones. I called during the hours they were open and was transferred to the call center. And then they couldnt transfer me to the person I needed to talk to which in my opinion is very unprofessional and not very efficient at all. The Everett location is very inefficient and it took me a whole day just to get my order straightened out and figure out when and where I was supposed to be to reschedule installation. So when I got to the Lynnwood location things kind of smooth out and I actually had a better experience. But keep in mind that also helps that I treated the employees like human beings and didnt yell at them. You tend to have a better experience when you dont throw a fit also. So take it for what its worth, or with a grain of salt. Either way theres lots of room for improvement, but I happen to slide through unscathed for the most part

Ive rented here probaly 2 doz. Times and never ever had a bad experience. If there was a delay it was only because someone didnt return on time.

This is the second time I’ve tried to use uhaul and they didn’t have the equipment I reserved in advance. The entire company and their staff is garbage. Never again.

If I could give zero I would, I went in today after reserving a trailer hitch, only to be told that I did not have trailer to rent . Even after I had a confirmation. The lady behind the counter acted like it was all my fault or that I was lying . Although I had a confirmation she just kept fussing and say that the company forced the rent on her . It put me in a bad position as I was getting my moms last possession out of storage, to the point I had to go get a huge tarp and had to stop about five times before getting back to sequim not to mention time I lost thinking I had a trailer . Don’t rent here if you can help it . So Christopher the manager and Beth insteps of making the customer feel like she did something wrong how about showing a little kindness after all it was your company who made the mistake . I have all receipts to back up what I say .

Absolutely the worst service I have ever received. Im supposed to be moving to Arizona and less than 24 hours before my reservation I was told that they didnt have the trailer I reserved. The closest location was Oak Harbor. Beth, the person we had the unfortunate mistake of dealing with was extremely rude. She had zero sympathy about our situation and handed us no alternate solutions. Her attitude was what made this experience even worse. She told us Other folks had to travel to Spokane for their trailer in an attempt to basically tell us to deal with it. Do you think Uhaul is going to pay for our ferry, gas, mileage, to go receive our trailer? Nope. This is the absolute last time I will EVER use Uhaul and I definitely plan to talk to corporate about the employee at this location that had zero empathetic bone in her body. She was the rudest employee Ive ever dealt with.

I had a great experience a few times when I used this service center: I dropped one way track, rented storage, rented 15 feet track. The staff is always helpful. All issues (which are never avoidable) resolved promptly and fair. Thank you.

Placed reservation and was able to get truck without hassle and quickly. Got on my way really fast. Unfortunately, when i opened the back of the truck there was a dolly and moving pads that i did not request. I needed completely empty truck now im missing soace for stuff near end of truck. One trip now became 2 trips. 😢

I have been visiting this place two times . The first time is for hitch installing for my Audi Q7, everything was on time. Worker had knowledge and was good about his job. The second visit just recently I purchased a Thule bike rack and Alex who installed my rack very helpful and honest as well as very knowledge about his job . Alex gave me reasonable advices that fit my needs . Thanks U Haul for having knowledgeable worker.

Drove 11 miles in a van, returned with a full tank costing $10 or 3.5 gallons of gas. No possible way that van was full upon leaving. Even though the gage shows full it wasnt. Complete BS

Just got the truck on empty and when I went to put gas in it all of the gas came out of the bottom. Thanks for the broken truck now I have to wait 2 hours for them to get here and who knows how long for them to fix it.

I would give zero if possible. The customer service is a joke and the lady helping couldn’t care less about helping you. Save your time and money and go somewhere else. I will not be using them

9 months after a god awful experience with a car trailer, i decided to give this location another chance with a quick in-town van rental. i dont know what happened since my last visit, but my experience was a complete 180 this time. the staff was very friendly and efficient, and had me on the road in no time at all. the return process was just as smooth, and i was out of there in a matter of minutes.will definitely be returning here for my future rental needs. thanks for a painless experience this time guys!

Reading the other reviews, peoples experiences seem to be hit-and-miss here. I can only speak for their rental service (not storage) but we had a great experience. Quick and painless - the pick-up and drop-off were convenient and actually reasonably priced. Wouldnt hesitate renting from them again.

Stay away from this place professional fraudster!! Rent a van from them with insurance coverage. Accidentally back up to a pole they refund my insurance and charged me $1000 damage fee. Be very careful with the General manager of this he’s 100% scumbag!!

These guys were fast, accommodating and friendly. Had a unique situation with our personal truck breaking down in the middle of a trailer rental, they were able to get me into a rental pretty quick and painless.As soon as my truck was out of the shop, they gave me a prorated amount. Good business.

Called to get a quote for a three day rental and was told their computer system wouldnt allow them to go past 24 hours. I was told Id have to bring it back each day and rent it again.Called a different location (Shoreline) and had no problem making the same exact rental.I honestly dont know how their system works, but at the very least it seems like more training might be beneficial to them, or they should be looking into trying to fix all the software problems people complain about on here.

Ive used U-Haul several times over the years and this store was full of people who didnt want to do anything but the bare minimum. They pushed any issues off to their computer system or saying it wasnt their problem.We had a reservation that U-Haul dispatch setup which turned out to be different when we got to the store. We had a 10 truck reservation (email proof shown to the staff), but they said it was for a van. We needed a truck and they told us that due to the reservation being made the night before it was likely that the dispatch didnt refresh their page. Blaming the software. Then when we said it was an official reservation from U-Haul they said it wasnt something they can fix and asked if we wanted the van. We had already said we couldnt use it.We luckily had a 4pm reservation for a truck that the dispatch the night before said they would cancel, but didnt. When we got there a customer was yelling at them and while she was in the wrong it seemed like they all just didnt want to calm her down, but insist that it was her fault. Yes, it was, but be human and at least sympathize a bit and try to figure out a way to help the lady calm down.

Got me a pickup I needed in 15 minutes total time. Im a picky customer. They did a really efficient job from picking the truck up to dropping it off. Id definitely go back.

Reading other reviews, people must have high standards for Uhaul and expect everything on a silver platter. After my move, this was the only storage facility nearby that was available with free month of storage in a close proximity to my location. When I got in they were pretty busy, and only a handful of people working. They did the best that they could to ensure every customers needs were taken care of. Thats all that really can be asked for by anyone. I got my unit and was able to get everything that I needed no issues, except for maybe taking a bit of time since they seemed to not have enough staff available that day to help with the high demand. Thats no problem in my book. Other customers on these reviews need to get a grip that sometimes things do go right not because of the employees, but themselves holding high expectations and flawless everything.

There is no zero star, I wish there is I would give them less than that, they are very thieves. I drive 12 mile and they charge me 42 miles price, with all the witnesses around me they denied me. They are very non trusting people . I am so disappointed. Please dont trust them take a picture of the milage before you drive.

Only buy boxes you need. They couldn’t do a return with out the receipt. I saved the receipt but of course after a move you don’t know where it’s a placed. So I lost $10 min in boxes bc they said doing store credit is a pain. Not very happy with this place and now I know better.

I do not understand how Uhaul, perhaps the largest moving/cargo vehicle rental company in the country, operates facilities with staff having such poor quality personalities and equipment that cant be rented. The vehicles lining the road with signs in them are still there now, in the same spot ! It is like their employers business model and basic training is conflicting with their trashy upbringing, and their inner lack of motivation.Their uniforms are worn baggy/oversized, hats on backwards, chewing gum and joking amongst coworkers while I waited in a line for an extended duration - by myself by the way; for a greeting or acknowledgment of existence to rent a vehicle.The idiot with the short curly hair, and shaved sides of his square head - needs to be fired. It would take me five paragraphs to explain the garbage, presumptuous reasoning and nonsense this idiot spewed out with his GED grade cognitive abilities. Vehicles on their lot that cant be rented to me, and are not in use, are designated For Sale. This is per the other idiot agent that made me stand in line by myself waiting to be served.People buy Uhaul vans and trucks ? So their lot is lined with inactive vans and trucks, with rent me signs in their windshield ?Go ahead and aggravate yourself by renting here. The negative reviews dont lie. The quality of service you will receive will depend on if they feel like putting in the effort to do the absolute minimum to get rid of you or lie to get rid of you.

Made an appointment over the phone for a hitch installation today. Received a text with the wrong appointment #, spent 15 minutes on hold to confirm my actual appointment. Showed up at scheduled time and was told that the hitch installation guy doesn’t work Sundays. Guy at front didn’t really seem to care and did nothing except tell me the person who scheduled it made a mistake and they could get me in Tuesday.

Pick up at the opening hour was slow, otherwise used their truck in good condition and was able to return and depart in less than 5 minutes.

I went here with my husband to pick out what equipment we would need for a cross country move, we had to get the woman cleaning the trucks to open a Ubox for us and then she continued with her cleaning. Several other employees came in and out of the office but never asked if we needed help, even when we went into the office and waited at the counter for over five min (they watched us walk in) and they didn’t even acknowle we were there. I was about to spend thousands on ubox rentals and towing equipment but I will take my $ somewhere else after this!

I rent trucks here fairly often, and have never had a bad experience. Help at the counter is always pleasant and efficient, plenty of inventory, and return/check-in is fast.

Excellent Customer Service and overall experience. We initially went in person to make our reservation so we knew exactly what we would be getting size wise. The customer service agent was patient and helpful, it was on a weekday morning, so it was quiet. They called the day before our departure to confirm our truck and trailer were ready. Pick up was a breeze, they gave us exactly what we asked for and the truck was clean and well maintained. Overall we are impressed. Our friends have had bad luck with smaller uhaul agencies in Snohomish county. I will direct them here in the future.

Instead of being told none were available upon ordering, was told it would be ready to pick up - went to pick up the trailer, and the trailer that was ordered was not available.Suggest firing staff, and replacing them with competent employees.

Worst Moving Experience Ever. I dont know if Ill use U-Haul again, since it was made apparent that my experience was not a unique one, either.I reserved a particular truck several days in advance, even had the confirmation call the night before pickup and they acted like everything was fine. Even edited the time I would need the truck that night before. Then I came in, half an hour early for my truck, and was told that my reservation was not only switched to a location much further away (I dont own a vehicle and had already Uber-ed to this location), but that it would be available 5 hours later than my reservation, because they didnt have anything and it was the weekend of the first. The terms of my move made it necessary that I move on THAT particular day as it was the last day in our house but we couldnt get keys to the new place til that last day too.There was no call, not ANY sort of notification before I wasted time and money showing up for my truck. How is that possibly a way to do business? Even if other customers are over-staying their reservations, there should have been contact.Tip for the wise - a lovely private company called J&R truck rentals down the road had a truck for us to use last-minute. There was a line behind me of other U-Haul customers whose reservations had been messed up as well.

I am usually the smiles and sunshine type. I typically provide feedback when I have something nice to say about an employee who went above and beyond so I believe this is my first 1-star review.I set up a reservation for a cargo truck because I needed to go get a sofa I was purchasing off of Craigslist. When asked when I wanted to pick it up I told the lady that I was either going to get it before or after the Seahawks game so as early as 11am and as late as 5pm. She confirmed that the reservation was for 24 hours so as long as I brought it back that evening (like I told her I intended) that I could pick it up whenever without an additional charge.When I arrived at the location a little after 4pm I noticed there were no cargo trucks and was told that I did not pick it up at 11am so my reservation was cancelled. When I explained my conversation with the lady who set up my reservation all he said was that there was no note indicating anything other than an 11am pick-up time.At this point there isnt much I can do about them having no cargo vans, but they had comparable 10 trucks that were more than I needed, but would suffice as a courtesy replacement for the mix-up. When I asked what he was going to do about it he answered with one word, nothing. When I asked about the 10 trucks he said I could get one, but that the mileage was $1.09 mile as opposed to $0.89 for the cargo van. I asked if he could give me the lower rate to make up for cancelling my reservation. His response was a blatant and condescending, no, Im not going to pay for someone elses mistake. He also informed me that he was the assistant manager so that is where the conversation on that was going to end.All-in-all it was one of the worse customer service experiences Ive dealt with in quite awhile and the guy does not belong in a managerial position. If you absolutely need a vehicle make sure to set up the pick-up time precisely or you may end up out of luck.

Terrible. Reserved a free month for a unit here before driving across country and when I got there they tried charging me full price. They lied to customer service on the phone and said they had no units available even after they told me they did on multiple floors. Had to go somewhere else with a full Uhaul trailer.

Who has you wait outside in the snow to check in the truck? I was told to wait outside after going inside to warm up cause it was snowing.

Bad customer service, i was booking a truck from them and before i had a chance to ask more questions he hang up on me, had to call back to verify what time and salesman booked it for 3 pm when i needed the truck at 8 am. Very inconsiderable behavior for those guys, a monkey can do better job then them. While cancelling the bad reservation they transfer me to other office without any heads up.

Truck was Canadian so that was a different experience. I had received a free 1 month of storage for renting a moving truck and was excited because it says 24 hour access to our unit but upon move in the said thats not the case unless manager approves it. Talk about false advertising. You get access to your unit only when the office is open. Super disappointing and I wont be renting a unit there past my free month.

AWFUL COMPANY! Our moving truck was OVERBOOKED! Maintenance was not done on it, as it went directly to us. We ended up being delayed 5 hours and had to reschedule the movers. We purchased the Safemove protection with roadside assistance. They TRUCK BROKE DOWN ON TOP OF THE PASS IN 105 DEGREE WEATHER, with KIDS, FAMILY PETS, 2 KIDS, a FULLY STOCKED FRIDGE and FREEZER with ice bags, including ORGANIC SKINCARE for my BUSINESS and our 2 cars. We tried to get through to U-Haul Roadside Assistance that was UNAVAILABLE for 4 HOURS! We called U-Haul North Lynnwood where we rented it, AS WE WERE ONLY 2 HOURS AWAY FROM. They wouldnt help, they kept transferring us to roadside assistance. They ended up telling us to just call Highway Patrol to help, as we were in a dangerous place on the pass. We paid over $600 to tow the 26ft U-Haul truck and tow trailer to the nearest town. It took 2 days for them to send someone out with a new truck and movers. They apologized and told us to save all receipts for prompt reimbursement.We corresponded through email with U-Haul Storage North of Lynnwood, as they instructed us on emailing motel, gas, food receipts and pictures of everything for payment. We emailed everything to both Eddie Arenibas and Harley Barrett. They told us everything was great and then...nothing. No response from either one.Our family pet was ill and his health rapidly deteriorated and UNEXPECTEDLY PASSED AWAY because of that 3 day hell. Our kids were devastated. ITS BEEN 2 1/2 months and we have still not been reimbursed from them. We now have to file a suit in small claims against them. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE!

They billed be two late fees before they even sent out the first bill letting me know that I had a late fee so my rent this month is twice as much as it should be and its all because they mailed it to my old address and mailed it late to begin with. I cant settle anything over the phone so in order to work this problem out I have to walk all the way up there to make sure I dont spend anymore money than needed. Im always on hold for way too long and cant really accomplish anything even when I do finally get a hold of a representative. They are offering me no help on this situation and over the past year they have increased my rent without telling me. I will never do buisness with them again. Do or reccomendations them at all. Im moving my stuff out before next months rent thats for sure.

Liars, Bait and Switch! AVOID! AVOID AVOID!When I rented a unit at this location in September 2016, I had asked about 24 hour access. It is clearly advertised (as of this writing) on the uhaul website that this is an option. When I signed my lease, I was told the requirement for having 24 hour access was to be a customer for a few month.As of a few weeks ago, I called about enabling 24 hour access on my unit. I was then told Yeah, just come in, sign a form, we give you a new key, thats all it takes.I came in on 10/09/17 (I have been a customer for a year now), and was told that I could only enable 24 hour access w/ the general manager, who wasnt in. When I asked why the young lady at the counter told me that I had to go through a background check to get 24 hour access. She then proceeded to tell me that they have a lot of problems with people doing drugs in the units, and living in them.. When I started to argue about why it says nothing about this on the website, all she could say was Yes, youre right, we really should change that.. I advised them that they are falsely advertising, at which point the rep next to her jumped in with this gem; Sir, its available, were just no longer offering it to anyone. So it isnt false advertising. That guy has a future managing Trumps twitter account with logic like that.Further, other than knowing I was a customer by my own statements, no employee even bothered to look at my account, pull up my info, etc.While all this was going on, the other reps were busy with a customer who stated he was billed 30 miles more than he should, and the Uhaul driver they were talking to on the couldnt remember which truck he drove a few hours ago to help them. What a circus.Pretty impressive how I got strung along while they collected my rent for a year. Moving out asap. I filed a BBB complaint on the false advertising issue as well.When I got done with all of this, I noticed this sign on the storage building itself. Even if they set it up for me, it wouldnt have worked. What a joke.

This place is a scam! The branch manager of this place is a jack**s! We bought a protection plan but when we had an accident he refunded our insurance money and charged us $500! The staff in very unprofessional and rude, stay away from this place!

WORST PLACE TO EVER DEAL WITH! If I could give a negative star I would in a heartbeat!!!! We went in to rent a pick up truck and drove down to Home Depot (which is 1.9 miles away). We were going to rent a trailer from Home Depot, which they wouldnt allow with a uhaul truck. So we put gas in the truck right by Home Depot and drove back to uhaul(1.9 miles) got back and asked if anything could be done since we didnt even do anything with the truck and were not gone that long. They told us no which was understandable. But then informed us we drove 18 miles!!!! 18 miles, we asked how that was possible when Home Depot is 1.9 miles so at most 5 miles we might have drove. They replied that is why we tell you to check the mileage. Basically they ripped us off and lied on the miles that we started because its not possible that we would have drove that far in that short amount of time! Such a joke and rude employees. Yes its our fault for not looking at the miles when we started but shady as hell that they can lie and get away with it! Thanks for nothing uhaul!

Really bad customer service, I did a reservation online for a auto transport I was supposed to pick it up at 6:30 pm when I when to the place they told me: we dont have it here youll have to go to the next uhaul which it is a few miles down, I went to that location for that time it was 6:45 pm already the manager of this store told me the same answer we dont have it here north lynnwood have one youll have to go back with them.I get to the same uhaul store that I first went and a Chinese guy told me, we have it here but its already 7:06 pm and were close you will have to come back tomorrow.So be careful people dont go at this store.

Worst experience ever encountered at a place of business. The workers have no clue what they are saying so I got charged an extra $300 from a worker not understanding what she is doing.The manager isnt helpful and very rude. I dealt with a man named Edward. Worst customer service ever. I signed my contract and went outside to get the truck. When it came around the number on the truck did NOT match the number on the contract. I asked the manager to just fill out a new contract to make the numbers match and he refused to do it. Im not renting a truck that doesnt match my contract or my insurance for the truck just for them to say I damaged their truck or didnt refill the gas. Never coming here again. Horrible experience.

Reserved a truck, took the day off work... Misinformed of what I needed to bring to rent the truck, got what they asked and apparently was misinformed again and then was told you can leave the store and the managers number is on the door on the way out, called the manager Eddie and was told the same thing. Then I called corporate and was told they were very wrong and was sent to the one south on 99 where they had no problem. All in all I waisted half my day and learned that not all uhauls are created equal.

Very rude and unprofessional staff, they start telling you all terms and conditions including late fees for returning rented vehicle and then at the end they say right to your face we dont give you your vehicles, reason was because they are renting their limited number of what they have which is only few wheels to whoever back to back .One of few places that being respectful is not getting you anywhere . So please be ready to deal with these crooks properly .

Reserved a 6x12 trailer after being bumped by to other uhauls, to this one that for sure had my trailer. After they had it hooked up decided that they were going to give it to someone else. No compensation, no reasoning, just the worst service ever.

First of all they charge me for washing the truck because they said it is very dirty after I returned it.And second they charge me three times from my bank after I pay cash in The end.Horrible experience with this location and Uhaul.
