El Super in Lynwood, California is a pretty well kept up store. Clean, neat, organized and well lit. The people dont really acknowledge you if you happen to walk by them. The cashier was nice and seemed to be pretty efficient at her work. The music playing on the sound system was Mexican Ranchera. Theres a service deli at the entrance of the store where you can buy all kinds of Mexican delicacies. Ceviche, salsa, different meats cooked in different ways, beans and rice and guacamole. They also have a place with tables and chairs where you can sit and eat the food you just bought. Overall pretty cool place to shop for groceries and/or eat. Just know that they dont necessarily have enough cashiers. They have a good assortment of drinks in the coolers behind the registers.

I CAME TO THIS LOCATION AND I DIDNT KNOW THAT IT WAS ABOUT TO CLOSE I USE THE RESTROOM BEFORE GETTING STAFF NOT EVEN 5 MININ THE RESTROOM AND VICTOR THE SECURITY GUARD WALK IN THE RESTROOM DEMANDING GET OUT THAT THE STORE WAS CLOSE AND I WAS IN THE RESTROOM FOR A LONG TIME WICH IT WAS A LIE I REPORT HIM WITH THE MANAGER ON SHIFT HE NEEDS TO GET TRAINING ON CUSTOMER SERVICE BECAUSE OR RETIRED BECAUSE HE IS NOT CAPABLE OFF PERFORM THIS JOB.IT HAS BEEN 4 DAYS AND NO ANSWER I GUESS EL SUPER IN LYNWOOD DONT CARE FOR CUSTOMER COMPLAINS THERE FOR I WONT GO BACK TO THIS STORE

Great market to buy groceries

The place is good but I just dont like the long lines but its not the stores fault so yeah.

Some shelves where empty. Workers where standing around socializing, instead of restocking. I prefer to go to El Super on Atlantic and Firestone.

The Mexican cooked food they sell is way better that many restaurants and its more affordable, I have children and my little princess loves the filete de pescado frito. 😁

Not a lot of variety of brands.The worst service at the small restaurant they have in front...lazy and give you excuses for not helping you when you are waiting in line for 10 minutes...not coming back

Had to get a cake for a birthday and dropped in and bought other groceries and couldnt believe the great prices and how clean the place is. Everyone loved the cake.

I could give it a 5 star if they didn’t have such rude employees, especially the cashier Celeste, which I had the misfortune of having her ring my items today and she was in such a bad mood; extremely rude. Girl, if you don’t like your job give it to someone else, there’s tons of people unemployed right now that wish they had what you take for granted. ✌🏼

Everything looks clean, extra registers available, the only issue Ive seen is the customer in front a me paid with EBT and the cashier charged for the bags and customer was unhappy.

Nice place to go for cheaply priced produce although other places may have slightly better prices during days of specials. Here, Wednesday is your better bet for cheap prices and fresh produce as this is their restocking day. For meats in the meat area, I have had mixed situations. At times, Ive received fresh beef and chicken while at others Ive received spoiled meat too. I buy my meat elsewhere now just in case. I may try it again some other time. I recommend to go with the knowledge of selecting your produce at all times. You will need it here as most of the produce, being fresh, is bought still in its immature state. Pineapples are always green here and highly acidic. I get my pineapple at Alameda Swapmeet instead. Tomatoes can be too mature at times and best consumed that day or in 2 days at most. Again, go with the knowledge of selecting your produce to steer away from low quality foods.

The lines are long they only be having like 2 or 3 registers open smh they need to work on making their lines shorter. It gets crowded when the lines are long .

Neighborhood market to cater to you needs locally.

Sometimes its great and fast. Other times, its slow with only 2 or 3 registers open. Sometimes theres a line, depending on the day. Parking here sucks. Save yourself a headache and park outside.

Hands down the worst Super in the county! Never shopping here again! Customer service is the worst and their logic beyond stupid!! Be cautious. Youll see the one star rating only because I cant give a NO star!

The service here is terrible. I only have 3 items and it took 20 mins for the cashier to return to her post after helping a customer out. I understand that the customer comes first, but if its taking more than 5 or 10 minutes to price check then they should get one of the other workers or managers to help the cashier out. I will not be returning here.

Cashier was nice up until we asked for a bag (we were not offered one) and then the attitude came out. Older man pushing carts outside was a sweetheart. Low selection of food for some reason, no tomatos or cilantro! All in all, its a grocery store.

Doesnt cater to, to many other race than Hispanic. Hard to find some canned food and not a great frozen food products. Does have a good meat department and cheese department. Has a good cooked food to buy warm and tasty. Small bakery. Not to much variety. Has good water fruits.

Got there a little before opening time last Monday (7:00 am) and was disappointed that it was not already open. But the wait was WORTH IT! Such a wide variety for well arranged fruits and vegetables. And everything that I bought was DELICIOUS!Strongly considering doing more shopping here.

The person in charge of breakfast in the morning is a despotic person who does not have an education and does not have a good attitude. There is also a young white woman who thinks that one is stealing things. .

Love the fresh mexican sweet bread, produce and prices. Also always clean

Low prices, clean, and lately well stocked in good produce. The following is constructive suggestion/ criticism...they do need to clean out the produce that is going bad more often and fix their irrigation system. Its sad to see food go to waste because of overwatering. One last thing, it is unsightly to find the herbs section in such a disarray. They dont look fresh when not inserted in the trays properly....they wither.

Its a hispanic grocery store. You have a variety of traditional mexican ingredients from cow tongue to cactus. The prices are super cheap. The quality and freshness isnt superb, but its not horrible either. You definitely get what you pay for here.

Went in last Wednesday almost all of the green apples were horrible. Almost all of the people that work produce are lazy with bad attitudes..

Never had issues with their raw meats. Love their sweet bread, tostadas and vast fruit variety. Thursdays are the best eat deal days.

Theres a lot of bakery items. Have were you can get sliced desserts for individuals. Have a good selection of already prepared food. Not to good selection of vegetables. Not a great variety of canned food. Dont have to much canned food if your looking for some American selection. Not a great frozen food selection either.
