I was referred by a friend that takes his trucks there for ALL needed repairs, etc. The first day that I called, I felt comfortable and being female, were all hesitant because when were doing anything automotive at a repair shop, were normally taken for granted. If I were back home in Warner Robins, GA., it wouldnt have been a problem but in the Atlanta/Smyrna area, we have stories to share. My sis took me to pick up my H3 Hummer and I saw it and it was as though Id just purchased it off the car lot! They took such great care of CoCo, even had the smell I missed for about a year now that it had when I first drove it off the lot years ago. I can finally drive comfortable and safely again with no fears of it cutting off at any time.My sis is going to take her car there for her automotive needs when needed, as well. My car stopped on me one block from Rick’s automotive service shop. I was fortunate to be able to start the car back up and make it to Rick’s auto repair parking lot to ask for help. I didn’t get a chance to do any reviews on the shop, therefore I had to take a chance on Rick’s auto shop to tell me the issue and if he would be able to fix the problem. If you are like me and you’re riding around with an older car you will sometimes have problems with your vehicle. Therefore I would recommend Rick’s Auto repair to anyone without a doubt! My car failed the Emissions Test and shortly after began overheating. Someone recommended Rick’s Automotive. Rick and his team conducted a diagnostic test on my car. Sadly, the news was not good. However, I appreciate that he called me once he discovered a serious issue before continuing with an exhaustive inspection that would have taken longer. I appreciate the non-patronizing and straight-forward explanations. I will definitely return.

I took my 05 Mustang to Rick Automotive, to get a engine replacement. The previous mechanic that work on my car “fix my head gasket”, that probably held up for 2months. Got my car to Rick, they did a thorough inspection. long story short, my engine was over with. it took a lil longer than we expected, but during that time. the shop keep in contact, i was aware of any issues they came across. i was giving an complementary brake job as well. its been about a month, i haven’t had any issues. The shop continues to keep in contact. Awesome Service dont, hesitate.

Originally went to AutoZone (Thanks Yvette) just to replace a terminal post for the battery. This turned into an ordeal with AutoZone asking Rick (next door) for assistance. After coming over it was something that couldnt be handled the so they drove the car to their shop. Realizing the problem was bigger, Rick explained and showed me the areas. When asked to cost he explained the high and low value. Well in the end i left my car and was driven home by Ricks wife. If this is not service then I dont what it. Rick and his team were professional and courteous from the moment my wife and I called to inquire about fixing my car and from the second we stepped foot in his shop. He handled the grinding noise on my car with prompt attention and had it fixed in less than half a day. I owned a 2012 Toyota Camry, that was showing signs of engine collapse, via its struggle to make it up hills. Rick and his crew were the first to correctly diagnose the problem as a faulty torque converter. They gave me the info I needed to decide if it was worth fixing or to buy a new car. It was because of good reviews, and being in my Mableton neighborhood, that I trusted his business with my car. Now I know why that was a good move. 👍🏽

He informed me I needed 2 brake calipers that have failed. Ordered parts, replaced the bad, and had my car finished in 2 days. Its a great shop, took to them after the Dodge Chrysler dealership on Thornton rd basically just took $300 from me. They told me I had a $1600-$2000 problem, ricks fixed it for $600 and the dealership couldnt even tell me my issue which was throttle body cable issues which was found and fixed by Ricks shop in a week 👌👍good place and service

Cars arent fully diagnosed, they speak highly on a process yet dont address issues that are the actual problem. Instead they hire master part changers. If you need real work done not brakes or oil change but real work done GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!

Rick and his team performed an excellent job on my 2007 Cadillac SRX! There was a lot of diagnostics involved to get to the root of the problem but they handled it with patience. I walked into Ricks at 4:30 pm on a Thursday afternoon, a half hour before they were due to close. I was panicky about the smoke coming from my hood. I was greeted by Candace, who listened (very patiently for someone who was about to get off work in 30 minutes), to my concerns and relayed them to Rick. He then checked my car and told me what was wrong (a simple coolant leak) and that he would order the part immediately and have my car ready the next day. And that is exactly what he did! I didnt just get quality, honest and fast service. They took the time to calm my fears. They made me feel welcome: I instantly felt like family. These guys are awesome!!! I appreciate you guys so much and will return for my future auto needs!

My car was having a simple problem as a sensor problem and couldn’t pass emission I was aware that the sensor was the problem I have saved up the money to get it fix. Since the car can pass emission and I can renew my tag I decided to bring it to rick automotive since they specialize with emission after being charged 85$ for diagnostic fee we agreed on 1250 to fix it and get it pass emission they have me running for over a week back and forth and now the car still not fix yet I would never recommend this mechanic shop is a wast of time and money

Honestly this guy deserves know star period. He did not fixed my vehicle at all. I had a check engine light on my car. It was a sensor and gas cap. I couldnt pass emissions. So I was told by the guy at the emissions place to go to this guy name Rick. At Ricks Automotive. When I came to his shop. He ask me do your car need to past emissions. And I said yesThen he said Ill charge you 200 dollars to make it pass. Then I told him. Know I was you to fixed the problem. Then he said ok. I came back to pick up my vehicle about 2 to 3 days later. I look at it to see that everything was fine. I drove it for 2 days. Then my check engine light came on again. I paid about 380 dollars for him to give my car. Then I brought it back to his shop. And told him my check engine light was back on. Then he checked it out again and said its another sensor. And charged me 127 dollars. When I got the car back then. The check engine light was off. I soon as I made it home it came on again. And my fan on my vehicle start making noise. It wasnt doing that until Rick called his self fixing my car. I called him the next day and left him a message. But he never returned my call. I had to take my car to a dealerdeal to get it repaired. It cost me 849 dollars. So please who ever read this I had the worst experience ever dealing with RickI will not recommend Rick Auro to my worst enemy. And I will report you to the Better Business bureau
