A contractor friend of mine recommended Carpet Depot. Id been googling vinyl flooring to the point where I wanted to just set it all on fire and give up. Billy and John rescued me! Carpet Depot is an unassuming spot in a strip mall, small, like others have said, but floor-to-ceiling, wall-to-wall, flooring and carpet (from sample books to huge remnant rolls). Its got the friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable service box stores lack. The guy at the register (Billy) was intent in conversation with another customer but still took a sec to welcome me and let me know hed be with me as soon as he could. Another employee (John) walked right up when he saw me wandering around to ask how he could help. Billy talked to me about what I needed it for (a van!), what my options were, and took me straight to what would be best for my project and budget. I dont see how one could claim its lacking in options! Saw some gorgeous carpet colors out of the corner of my eye - plaid, even! They had a couple of vinyl plank color/patterns I wanted and had not been able to find *any* where else. Im thrilled I didnt have to settle for something I didnt love. Billy even sat right down on the floor with me, to show me how to install it. I can see how communication might be a bit frustrating, since its a mom and pop operation and there might sometimes be just one employee, but that was not my experience at ALL. And, it would be worth it for the quality, selection, and knowing Im supporting a local business. Thank you!

Quick and pleasant experience with this place. We were able to pick out a “scrap” piece of carpet that would fit in our closet from their show room on Thursday, and have it installed by Saturday. They were also able to make a note for the install technician to work with us on using the old carpet from the closet to patch a hole in our bedroom carpet. Super easy. They showed up on time, wearing face masks, and were done with both projects in under 2 hours.

I purchased three rooms of carpet that was installed so fast and so professionally that I was amazed. Now that Ive purchased my new home I look forward to the same great service!

The father and son team were friendly and professional throughout our visit. Oftentimes, I enter a store and peruse, and nobody will even acknowledge my existence, which is usually fine, but not when I need help. These two guys were very helpful, engaging, and showed a genuine willingness to assist. We will be following up with them in a few days to complete our purchase and beautify our home.

Visited these folks for a small project. They helped me pick out exactly what I needed and gave me a great deal. Wonderful people and customer service. I’ll be back!!

We purchased carpet for our entire house about 2 months ago. John was helpful, responsive and always had a pleasant manner (in spite of having no air conditioner in the store. ) He went above and beyond by coming after hours to measure our hours-- his colleague had not put our appointment into the system after telling us we were. He was sensitive to our working on a tight timeline (we dont live in GA) and made sure that we got all the information we needed to make an affordable, good purchase. Thank you, John!

A friend referred me to Carpet Depot and Im thrilled he did. We worked with Hope and he was very accommodating. Our project wasnt very large but that didnt matter to him. He showed us multiple samples while explaining the pros and cons of each. Once we made a decision he ordered the carpet and was very flexible regarding installation (we had to change it twice). Installers arrived on time. They were both very cordial, professional & fun. Seem location became a game and I still dont know where it is. Install & cleanup was great. And yes, well use Hope & Carpet Depot again in the future.

We have had a great experiences with Carpet Depot. Our initial carpet installation went great and when a warranty issue came up two years later the owner Billy went above and beyond to take care of us. Excellent customer service and great quality products.

We chose Capet Depot Mableton after considering many others, and it ruined our house. It turned out to be a horrible decision that required extended amounts of our time with no show employees, heaps of old carpet and flooring in our yard for over two weeks, squeaky-popping floors, and repairs at our expense. We would recommend choosing ANY other place.

The staff of Carpet Depot was amazing. I did get a little frustrated in the beginning because of scheduling conflicts with getting the new carpet put in before I actually moved in to my new home, however they worked their magic and they had the new carpet put in before I moved in. They did an awesome job, the carpet was very beautiful. They provided top quality level of work. I would totally recommend Carpet Depot to family and friends. A very satisfied customer. :-)

Awesome place. Had the pleasure of working with Billy who showed us around. They have a large selection of carpet, whether it’s in stock or custom order. This place does honest business and didn’t try to oversell anything, just quality carpet based on our budget. Highly recommend.

So much good to say!! From walking in to getting the carpet installed the employees and technicians were friendly, educated, and professional. I would recommend this place for all flooring needs in a heartbeat. The price was amazing too given that they moved heavy furniture, discarded the carpets and cleaned up after themselves. I worked with Michael in store and he was very informative and helpful and kept in touch (even on a vacation day) to keep us in the loop. David was my lead install technician and he was just as amazing and very friendly. I never felt swindled or uncomfortable. A plus!!!!

Although I didnt end up buying carpet here, I was very impressed with the person I talked to. He was very helpful in describing the different types of carpet materials, and was going to let me take home the large carpet sample to see it in my house before purchasing. They have quite a few remnants and will custom cut and bind rugs into area rugs for a reasonable charge. When I wasnt able to find the color I was looking for, he recommended another place in Atlanta. I called and talked to the same guy a few weeks ago when I was looking around for a place to get a remnant from, and I was impressed with him then, too.

Making carpet easy. These folks did carpet at our old house. They did carpet at our new house. Their labor charge is the lowest Ive found. Save yourself time and money - GO HERE FOR CARPET!

I have used Meyers for years and have had no problems ....well, I had one tiny problem but it was fixed immediately.Martin usually helps me. Ask for him.They have always been very reliable with a wonderful selection of carpets so I guess thats why they have been in business for so many years.Heres to many more 😊

They do decent work and have a good selection of product. The main issue is horrible communication. They dont respond to email, dont follow up at all, and make you have to track them down to give them your business. This is nothing personal, as Billy and Fernando are nice guys. However I had a horrible customer service experience and it kept getting worse.I had to practically beg them to give me a quote and then they had a no call, no show on a scheduled install day. On top of that, there is now damage to my wall that Id like to get resolved. Again, no word back from anyone.This could be an awesome company if they followed up and treated customers better.

If I can rate these guys lower than a 1 star, thats what i would do. I am going on a social media campaign to let everyone in the area know that the customer service here sucks! The service is absolutely ridiculous and no one really seems to care.

Exceptional service, phenomenal pricing. I was helped by a man (whose name has slipped my mind) about 510 glasses, and a Georgia Tech shirt [Go GT!!] who knew how to please a client! I do not live in the area, but was called upon by my disabled grandmother to replace her carpet. I had a mere 10 hours before I had to turn around and come back home in order to be back at work come Monday. Home is 2 hours a way from Mableton GA. I was serviced promptly, informativley, and respectfully every step of the way. My grandmother loves her carpet, and this is the first time I have actually enjoyed shopping for material for the home. The guys here where great! I got a great deal and the installers where amazing.

They cant get business because they cant open on time. Ive waited for 20 minutes for them to open the door and no one is even in the building. Ive called twice with no answer.

I cant tell you how pleased we are with the new management of Carpet Depot. The owner, Bill has provided absolutely exception service. We needed to replace our flooring through out the house. We shopped several places (HD, Lowes, Empire, etc) for prices. Bill provided the kind of customer attention that I would have paid more for. But when it was all said and done, Carpet Depot saved us several hundred dollars. I hope I dont need new flooring to appease my wife often but when I do, I will see Bill at the Carpet Depot!

I purchased carpet, installation, and the removal of furniture from this place on 7/11/18. The next day they visited the home, took measurements, and viewed the space. On 7/23 they called to schedule installation. We scheduled for 7/31. On the morning of 7/31 they called again to schedule installationand stated that they had no record of the previous installation date. With consideration ultimately given to weather conditions, we scheduled for 8/4.On 8/4 they arrived for installation and furniture removal, an additional cost. They rudely stated that they could not complete the install because they could not remove certain items of furniture (although theyd visited the space some wks prior and observed the same furniture and Id specially paid for furniture removal/replace).At this point I did not trust their product or installation ability. I requested my money be returned. The owner, Billy Said, refused to give me a full refund; stating that hed be taking a loss on the transaction. While admitting the employee whod handled the visit and transaction had been fired for similar behavior, he and his staff rudely argued with me for 2+ hours and refused to provide a full refund.THIS BUSINESS ENGAGES IN A BAIT & SWITCH SCHEME AND IS NOT REPUTABLE. DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THEM. I have lost money and still have no carpet!
