Tried a bunch of Ulta’s to get my brows done and was finally able to get them done here. Shayna did a great job! I’ll be coming back!

Went in there over a year ago and had the worst experience. I never wanted to go back!! EVER! However, doing a favor for my mom today I went back and am glad I did. Everyone was so sweet and helpful. Hopefully thats the way it will be from now on! 🤞

This store never has any of the brands that the other Ulta stores have and one of the staff was very rude and ignored us. So we went to the Ulta store in Solon where we were treated quite well. So we spent $400.00 there.

The store is usually fine but just had the weirdest air today I went in looking for a contour product and the 2 people working at the time was a cashier and a Lady with a Clinique Logo on her lab coat so I’m guessing a rep of some sort. So I’m wondering around to start really looking to see if there any other workers already on the floor and found none so I ask the cashier but the Clinique lady walked over and helped cool no problem. But she took me right over to the Clinique section without asking my price range which is odd but I assumed I could work that in some where but I never really got the chance she just kinda kept going and taking me along the more expensive side without really talking with me more at me which made me feel awkward. She was recommending great products just out of my price rage so we finally get to ones that were on sale and I got one of those. Again she recommended great things and we eventually got to something I bought but Took a while to get there

The staff here was very helpful - the employee walked me around the store and helped me me find what I was looking for.

Allie in the Salon is AMAZING. I am absolutely thrilled with the service I received from her!!! I am much less thrilled about the customer service I received from the manager. My appointment was scheduled for 2:30 on Thursday, March 4th. Because Allie had performed multiple services, I was there for a good chunk of time. Around 6:50, the music turns off, which didn’t bother me because I understand it’s about time to close. Then, at 7 exactly, all the lights in the store are turned off except for one. I sat for five hours and paid over 200 dollars for the person supposedly in charge of the store to turn the lights off on me - while my hair was still wet! He then proceeded to stare at us from the Tula section, making me extremely uncomfortable, until Allie finished. I was checked out and in my car by 7:20, so it isn’t like I was keeping them there until midnight. I work in the beauty industry, and as a manager, if any of my employees handled guests the way he does, I would be mortified. If I were Allie, performing almost 5 hours worth of services just to have the person who’s supposed to be there to support me trying to rush me to finish I’d be pretty upset too. It’s a shame that your store has amazing, talented hair stylists like Allie going above and beyond on complicated services just for someone else’s poor management and customer service skills to taint the entire experience.

Any store that required your private phone number for any returns, shouldnt be in buss.I guess they havent heard of the privacy or patriot acts. DO NOT SHOP THERE.We were told thats its was company policy to require phone numbers by the two millenials working on 2/13/2021 around noon time.

I always have a good experience at this Ulta! The customer service is great. Last time I went in, one of the employees was so helpful to me. She gave me great recommendations and assisted me in choosing the right shade of foundation. She was honest about the products which I appreciated. Everyone at this store is always willing to help!

First time doing order pickup at the Macedonia location and it will be the last. There was a guy cashier who apparently did not want to serve me. I was the only one in line. I stood in line and waited and waited AND WAITED as he drunk his water and talked to coworkers before he thought was acceptable to assist me. I informed him I was there for an order pickup, he told me he couldnt assist me without an email. After going back to my car to get my phone, another cashier who helped me stated I didnt need an email, a photo ID was enough. Absolutely ridiculous! Whats the point in investing in your business, if you have people on the payroll who dont want to work. Thank you for the experience and no worries, Ill be sure to spread the word about this place.

Im only giving it two stars because of the one nice person who helped me. The store was a mess, everything was almost sold out. I spent quite a bit of money and was supposed to get a free pump with my shampoo and conditioner purchase, and didnt. I asked if there were any samples I could get and my cashier rudely told me no, but the lady beside me who bought less was getting loaded up with samples from her cashier. I asked for help 3 times, The gentleman from the salon who doesnt usually work at the store was the only employee nice to me. I asked two ladies who were putting product on a shelf for help they claimed they dont work in the store and were very rude to me. And I asked for a price on some shadow and the girl with blue hair did it, but didnt look like she wanted to help. This was my first experience in Ulta, and I dont know if Ill ever shop there again, I feel so sad because I was really excited and looking forward to finally getting to.

As always, a great cut. The stylist was very nice and understood what I was looking for. Will be back.

Hit or miss on service. If you dont have a boss or manager by checkout you probably wont get your promotions or free gifts. Tired of having to ask/ insist and frequently run out or hunt to find something. Cashiers need much more training. Make-up artistry guru was amazing and beautiful.

I love this store!! Anything beauty related they have it. From eyeshadow to hairdryers to face masks they have it all. You wont regret going here for your next makeup haul.

First visit here. Staff was very polite and helpful, even though we were still in the store after closing time. Lots of fun stuff to check out if you are into hair/make-up/ perfume etc... I wish I could spend days just window shopping in this store!

Just ehhhh, felt like all the employees were all having their own conversations rather than helping out customers. There were 2 gentleman having an argument while a woman looked on while I was trying to cash out. No hello, did you find everything, Just continued with their disagreement, I walked up to a cash register not even knowing if it was open and just stood there. Unprofessional and rude. The store itself was great lots of product and variety just not a fan of the staff.

Nice atmosphere. Had my foundation matched here and the girl who did it was very patient and helpful.

Initially when I walked in I was ignored by the staff but a nice brown young lady approached me after while and helped me find everything I came for. The cashier was friendly as well and gave me and my partner free samples! My first time in Ulta Beauty and this store is pretty AMAZING!

This isn’t about the store Ulta as a whole, but this location specifically. Solon is my normal store. I’ve also shopped in Stow. The customer service was atrocious. I was there on a Saturday afternoon, not busy at all, and the employees were rude and didn’t ackowledge me. They also were not knowledgeable in their products what they had or did not have. To be honest I was looking for foundation and if someone helped me I could have been sold on some new items. I instead left kind of unsatisfied with my purchase and felt I wasted my time. I don’t recommend this location unless it’s that convenient for you.

Whatever your cosmetic needs you will find it at Ulta. Excellent selection of hair products.

This is usually a great store but my recent experience makes me not want to return. I would rate this store 5 stars for past helpfulness. I would rate it a 1 star based on a visit last week when, at the checkout with items I specifically came to purchase, a non busy cashier suggested I try Clinique. I said no, thank you, Im happy with my current brands. She insisted I should try it, essentially arguing with me throughout my transaction. Then the cashier joined in. If i hadnt already handed over my credit card, i would have dumped my items and walked out. I said no thank you. Stop. No one wants to be harassed.I assume there was an incentive however Ulta needs to watch that this is not regular customer interaction because Sephora isnt far away.

Its a nice Ulta store. It has the hair salon, make up station and the dermatologic services. All the store staff is kind and helpful. Love when they have boxed sets and gifts sets.

I stopped at the store twice to buy make up I wanted Mac Make up but because the Mac Store is really far from my house i stopped at ulta I ask the associate did they sell Mac and she said no and walked away I was like really is she not going to suggest something else she just left me standing there I have no clue about make up and I know Mac is more helpful so I walked out of ultra without make up the second time I went back to buy make up and I walked around no one asked did I need help and when someone did ask and tried to help she had no clue about the type of make up for African American skin colors so again i walked out without make up I won’t ever go back unless I know my own skin colors because the store is so not helpful

Friendly and helpful staff...one of the few area Ulta that carries Este Lauder products, like Cliniques Aromatic Elixir. Newer people / staff running their services.

I have spent hundrwds of dollars at this store and never was offered my piints or any of my gifts anytime I was here..I just realized this after a friend told me about her free gifts and money off for her ponts...Im disappointed I jave missed out on so much .

More often than not, I have a good experience shopping at Ulta, but this location proved itself to be unpleasant and disappointing. Upon walking in the store, I noticed an unfriendliness within employee attitudes. After approaching one of the employees with a question, I was greeted with a snide comment about my physical appearance.

I just got my hair done at ULTA beauty by stylist ty. I think is his name. I asked for a lavender/violet hair color and ended up with ultra blue violet color. I’m very unhappy with my results. And then he claimed the color was lavender ... when its bright blue.

Doesnt even deserve a one star. Only Got one Because they have Tarte shape tape in store.First Time in Ulta and last. Living in Canada we dont have Ulta as of yet so on a road trip thru the states thought id stop by pick up some Tarte shape tape as it takes over a week on order to Canada.Ignorance at its finest with two girls working, one girl was clueless about everything and anything to do with the products.She told us they had a promo with benefit when we asked what it was... she had no idea and had to go ask another employee.Standing near the cashier looking thru the mini sections they have, the girl at the cash repeatedly kept saying i can check you out here. WE WERENT EVEN DONE SHOPPING.When we were ready to checkout, they asked for our phone numbers to redeem the points. Let them know we are not from around here and its OK then shouts to another customer if theyd like the points im not taking, the customer awkwardly declines but i tell her its OK i will NOT be returning to an ULTA again. The cashier writes down the customers account # and gives me friends points to her as well we were fed up at that Point with the demeanor of the two girls. The one girl asks were are you guys from that you dont want the points we let her know Toronto, Canada. She LETS OUT A BIG OHHH WITH A LOOK ON HER FACE OF IGNORANCE !! BIGGEST AND I MEAN BIGGEST disappointment when vising An Ulta for the first time and being excited, to not caring if i never went to one again!ILL STICK TO MY SEPHORA HANDS DOWN! ULTA ITS TOO BAD HAD I HAD A GOOD EXPERIENCE I WOULDVE STARTED SHOPPING ONLINE AND MADE THE SWITCH.

I went in here today for the first time super overwhelmed because I dont really know makeup products very well. After looking around I approach the first approachable looking person. Her name was Tameika and I told her what I was kinda looking for and she lead me in all the right directions and recommended some awesome quality products. She tested everything on me to make sure I liked it. I was there til almost close, and the service was outstanding the whole way through. Some really kind, knowledgable people work here. Will definitely be returning for my makeup needs. Im a really hard sell, due to my customer service background, so props Ulta. You rock.

I put my baby in a cart that was next to my vehicle to run into ulta to get one item that they had a 1 day sale on, and I was told I couldnt bring the cart in because it wasnt their property. Carters 20 lbs and his carrier is another 7 and I wanted 1 dang item. Nothing on my person in your property so my person wont be in your store for a while

Their make-up is expensive and their coupons misleading. The coupons rarely apply to anything of interest. Recently they emailed a coupon that expired quickly. Im shopping elsewhere to eliminate going there

I am a woman of color that visited this store. I came in hoping to get some help picking out makeup that would be right for my skin tone. The saleswoman I encountered was not very helpful. Each question I asked, she was unable to help me, she just didnt know or I just dont know I felt very awkward and left without purchasing anything. I felt ultimately unwelcome. I havent been back since.

You can find some of the higher end products at Ulta such as Zoya, CND, Clinique, etc for the same price youd pay at a mall or online without the hassle of running the gauntlet or shipping costs. The workers will help you if you ask!

Just bought 2 new eyeshadow palettes and they are gorgeous !

My friend and I went to have a birthday shopping spree at Ulta. We were sorely disappointed to find that they were out of quite a few of the things we wanted to buy after trying them on! They seemed to look well stocked, but every time we tried on a lip color, it wasnt available to buy. Which brings me to the next pain point - they were out of tissues. Completely, the whole store. So there you are trying on black, silver, and blue fantasy lip colors (the stuff that does not come off nicely), and in the middle of it you find youve used the stores last tissue.The lady servicing the Clinique area also literally followed and stared at us. Im in my late 30s, we were not rambunctious teens or the like. Just regular women sampling new fun cosmetics to try. We were carrying quite full bags with us so Im not sure if she thought we were going to steal something or what, but I have no idea why we were being monitored. We used all hygienic practices with the alcohol, cotton balls, q-tips and sampling applicators so I really cant figure it out, but after spending $200 in there Im not happy about the potential shoplifter treatment.

A manager Chris was trying to help me find makeup for a funeral I had the next day and every worker in the store except for the lady with the long hair she couldnt do the register but the other lady kept messing up seem like on purpose kept calling his name and she couldnt do her job correctly because she wasnt paying attention I stood there for 5 minutes watching her and she only had three people in line he couldnt finish what he was doing throughout the store product everywhere because she kept calling him also I didnt even get to buy my product because he never got to finish my consultation I really dont understand why they dont have more than one cashier so the manager can do what they need to do in the floor people can do what they need to do and to hire people confident enough to understand the registers because you guys lost money buy me walking out the door

I was stuck there for ten minutes because they put the wrong amount when I gave them cash it was 2 cents for the change and the girl wouldnt give me the change so the manger came out and said all you had to do was give her 2 cents granted I dont care about the 2 cents I just wanted my receipt. I felt bad for the manger that these 2 girls couldnt figure that out!
