We had a coconut milkshake, excellent, and cookies and cream cone, also excellent. This is the cleanest restaurant (and bathrooms!!) weโve seen in a long time. Weโll be back to try the food menu, because the tacos look terrific! Highly recommended.

Excellent food! They also catered a family reunion, providing taco and ice pops. The owner himself delivered it and made sure everything was satisfactory. Everyone loved it! I cant say enough about this place.
Dannys is a unique ice cream experience. Their creativity and abundance of varied choices is unparalleled. I particularly like their varied flavors of ice cream served as pops dipped in a thick chocolate coating with giant nut chunks. The setting is humble, but their ice cream desserts are positively elegant. Dont miss a visit to Dannys. (They also serve Mexican street foods that my friends really like. I have not tried these yet.)
Tacos were EXCELLENT, beans and rice were mediocre. Service was very slow and dont know why, but it was 22 minutes to get my tacos. I watched her start making them at 19 minute mark. No idea why the delay.

Absolutely delicious! I got the vanilla ice cream bar. It is yellow and has raisins on top. Way better than I could have ever imagined. It was heavenly. I want to eat that every day! The staff member was very friendly and took time to tell me about many flavors because I had trouble making up my mind. This place is always very clean as well.
Francisco does a great job running the front of house by himself. He was very accommodating with our family of 5. We have been craving good Mexican food since we moved to Florida and this definitely hit the spot! Like another guide said, done let the appearance fool you! So worth it!
Very authentic and well seasoned carne asada tacos ๐ฎ Some of the best Iโve found. I posted pics of the food and menu. Yummy ๐ They have a limited but quality menu and itโs a great place to stop for a flavorful and refreshing lunch. A Must try the ๐ fruit water, itโs so refreshing. Iโve had their watermelon and also the cantaloupe ๐ Their ice cream is handmade. The building looks a bit run down and very basic inside but clean and friendly customer service. Donโt let it scare you because this place is well worth your stop. My grandchildren said this was the best ice cream they ever tasted. ๐Please like if this helps you ๐
Do your self a favor, bring a big appetite and order yourself one of their Tortas!! They are huge and are out of this world! Will be going back shortly for more.

We came for ice cream and really enjoyed it. Five us got significant servings for less than $15. If we hadnt already eaten lunch wed have had some of the Hispanic food I was surprised to find when we arrived. Staff was friendly. Will definitely return when in the area.

Fresh waters and ice cream are great. Food is okay but in my opinion there is more authentic and better tasting mexican food in Deland. And its fine if you go in to order but if you try ordering over the phone for pick up, the young ladies who answer are either rude or not knowledgeable on the menu. Ive made orders in spanish and english and anytime the lady or ladies answer theres an issue. Ive ordered by phone before and a man answer and there was no problem.

I was blown away by how good the food is here. I havent been able to find lengua sopes in a very long time and theyre amazing here. You can actually taste the peppers in their sauces without the heat being overpowering. I can tell the staff take pride in their work.

Dont let its appearance fool you! This is a really good restaurant right off the main road. Its both an ice cream shop and a Mexican restaurant, so you can get a good meal and follow it up with a good dessert. The food is very traditional and very popular

Best Tacos in Volusia!!! Nice little secret in DeLeon Springs!!! It really looks like an Ice Cream Shop but its so much more. The Mexican food there is good quality and flavorful, the ice cream is high quality paletas, Latino style ice cream but really, really good. Highly recommend that you try this place if you like Tacos and other Mexican food. The employees are always cordial and very nice.

We just ate at Dannys for the 1st time. We ate 5 different kinds of tacos (very little for $1.76 each), rice & beans. The tacos were just ok. We been to Jalisco Mexico so we know what good Mexican food is. The asada was dry & the rest just ok. Just not we hoped for

I go to Stetson and normally visit Taco Amigo for Mexican food. We are glad to find out about Dannys though. The food is as great and cheaper and there are great variety. Staffs are very nice as well!

Love this place!! Took the kids today and we really enjoyed their food. My picky son ate two whole tacos and a homemade fruity popsicle! The burrito was SO big I shared the other half with my husband. It was delicious. Great customer service! So friendly, clean inside and they had taken Coronavirus procautions. Worth the drive!

Donโt let the name fool you. Yes, the ice cream is fantastic, but Dannyโs has some of the best authentic Mexican Iโve ever tasted. Everything is great but I especially love their chicken tacos. Itโs a little place off the beaten path on U.S. 17, but wow, do they do Mexican right!

We have been coming here for the past 15 years! Best homemade authentic mexican food and best homemade ice cream! Quality and flavour have been consistent throughout the years. I love their Flour Tortilla with steak (Quesadilla de Harina de Asada) and their Salsas are the best, especially Salsa Verde! My kids love their tacos! Ice cream is trully homemade and fresh! Nothing like national brands. We have moved out of the area 9 years ago but still make an effort to stop by and get this delicious food every time we are nearby.

Food was fresh and almost fully authentic. Except the carnitas, they were more of a carne con chile then the real deal. Fresh flavored aguas (fruit waters) and paletas de fruta (fruit popsicles). Service was good overall.

Wow, what a little hole in the wall gem! The ice cream is amazing with many flavors to pick from, all made in house, and the Burritos are seriously amazingly delicious and HUGE!!
