A friend recommended my husband and I to Obsession as first timers, new to the sport. Cant say enough good things about their business, we will definitely plan on using them for all of our future archery needs. They were extremely busy when we went, but they were great about helping each and everyone of their customers in a timely and efficient manner. You can tell they work their tails off, especially during hunting time when there is a high volume of customers. I ended up buying my first bow from them, and so far so good! Reasonably priced and fitted to me great. Their indoor range is also very nice. You can tell they really care about sharing their passions with their customers!

I bought a new crossbow today from Obsession Archery. I intend to use it so my son can get his first deer this upcoming deer season. Chris and Chris were very professional and took extra time to explain to my son how the bow worked. While we were there, my sons first ever shot with his crossbow was a bullseye and he was elated to say the least. If youre in the market for a new bow I highly recommend Obsession Archery.

Such an awesome place to shop. I bought my first bow from them. From start to finish, you could tell how excited and passionate they are about archery. They took all the time needed to make sure I was properly fitted to the bow, dialed in the sight, and got me the correct arrows. I gave them my budget and they never tried to oversell me. Accidently destroyed my crossbows string in the middle of the best time to be in the woods. No one was able to help. A number of shops said sorry our techs are out hunting for the next 2 weeks. Obsession Archery came through. I drove over an hour and a half and when I got there, my crossbow was looked over. Replaced the string, my bent arrow retention clip and another part then test fired it, sighted it in all within 20 min. Wonderful people to deal with and would HIGHLY recommend. You saved my season. I went in hoping to get some basic information to start my journey into Archery. On a fluke, they had a used bow that fit me beautifully. They took the time to show me everything I would need, offering budget and high end option.I was taken to the range to fit the bow more perfectly to my build and was walked through the best form on repeat. They went TO WORK getting me set up and took me into consideration throughout the process. It was amazing watching them set me up with something ill be able to shoot for years to come.

The woman at the desk was short and rude with me when I had questions on purchasing a bow. I understand that there are probably factors unknown to me as to what would make her stressed out, this was just my experience. Buying options were also very limited. Needless to say I will just be purchasing a bow online instead of at this store.

I have bought a few things from them in the past, from feathers for my arrows to broadheads. Nice people, good prices, quick and great service... Plus, as it turned out, I worked with their son Matt. Very nice family. Down to earth, helpful service. Highly recommended.

I’m brand new to archery, I went to Obsession Archery to take a look around and maybe get my first bow. The lady at the counter was extremely helpful (one of the best customer service experiences I’ve ever had). She helped me get my draw length and then proceeded to show me all the different bows(great selection) and helped me find a bow that would be good for me. Staff is super friendly, 10/10 would recommend and I will always be going back there. Thank You for such a pleasant experience!!!

The best archery shop in the Mid West, period. Take your bow in with serious problems and if Chris has parts in stock, hell fix it right in front of you. Theres a few archery shops in the area that take days to cut arrows, days to adjust a sight, days to do anything. No one, I mean no one touches my bow other than Chis. Chriss wife Chis can be cranky, but whos wife isnt cranky sometimes? LOL!!! 5 out 5 stars from me!!

Fantastic shop! Extremely knowledgeable and friendly. They stand behind what they sell. If I have an issue with my bow, or if I need advice about something, they always help me out.

Chris the owner is very knowledgeable and helpful. Was real good when I started with my bow I bought from them after years of not shooting. My son expressed interest so I brought him in on a Saturday morning to measure him for a bow. Chris was very helpful to explain what he would need and the he was left eye dominant, which we did not know since he does most things right handed. He setup a bow, my son tried it out and Chris took time to give him some instructions. So my son has a bow now and some confidence as well since he was did well with his first real time out. Very happy with the service and would recommend them anytime. Thank you.

As a new enthusiasts bow hunter, I purchased my first bow in 2012 from a Local Outdoor Big Box Store (GM) - and was not fitted for my bow (Never Again). Was about to sell the bow cause of the discouragement! It was hell until I went to Obsession Archery. Even though I did not purchase the bow from them, they were extremely helpful and adjusted my bow to my fit and needs for next to nothing - literally! I only shot for a season after that. about 1 year and a half later, my son wanted to get started, and as a beginner and from my past experience, I knew exactly where to go! They let my son shoot a bow, get acquainted with it and also went over Bow and range SAFETY! Amazing! We did take a couple lessons and my son fell in love with shooting. We purchased a bow from Obsession Archery (Diamond Infinite Edge by Bowtech) and had my son all setup and going very fast! I would recommend Obsession Archery to any bow enthusiasts! They are always willing to help out, answer questions, see what you may need to do to improve! Obsession Archery really cares about it customers and goes the extra mile for them! We are very lucky to have such a great place and great Owners in our area!

This place is amazing. Despite me being the only Olympic recurve shooter there (as far as i know i hope there are more) Chris knows exactly what he is talking about. He is super friendly and if you are there just for the range, he will give tips on how to shoot better. I have become a much better shooter since i started going to obsession archery.

Went in knowing nothing with my daughter, and they were extremely polite and answered every question in terms we could understand. Im grateful to find a place where great manners and customer service are still a priority.

I was impressed with the service. When I came in to purchase a recurve bow he was busy helping a customer and was polite and told me an estimated wait time for service. The man working there was knowledgeable and gave me great pointers for target shooting. You can tell there is a true passion for the sport.

Female clerk (wife) was extremely rude and the male clerk (husband) had his face glued to the computer screen and couldnt be bothered to answer my questions. I was there to look at some Target bows (none in stock) and see what my options were for ordering one. The husband gave me three product books so I could look at the specifications of each brand they sell. The wife took a book that I was looking at right out of my hands and said thats the store copy like I was stealing it (I was standing at the counter). The wife became much more rude when I said I was not interested in spending $2000 on a Matthews bow as I am not a Matthews fan and only shoot very little and purely for fun and cannot justify spending thousands to shoot 6 or 7 times a year. Its possible I would have started shooting more if my experience had been positive. Guess I will never know now!!I will never go back to this shop and will make sure all my friends know they should never go to this shop for their Archery needs. I will take my business to Hunt N Gear in Janesville Wisconsin and would advise this to anyone interested in Archery.Also, just to clarify, there were 2 people shooting in the range and 1 other person in the shop so it was not busy or stressful at the time I was there so this cannot be used as an excuse for their behavior.

EXCELLENT SERVICE. I brought my Kronik (Diamond by Bowtech) to have them repair it, since the string popped off the idle wheel. Chris took the bow and took it apart to see, if parts needed to be ordered. He had the parts on hand and then proceeded to repair my bow, even though he had customers coming in and out. I came in thinking that the bow was going to be dropped off and I could pick it up in a week or so. Nope, it was fixed and he took the time to get me all aligned up. All of this work was done quickly and at a GREAT price. Highly recommended.

Not at all impressed!!! Owner put a peep sight on my wifes bow and put 1 twist on cable to fix timing,,,, took literally 1 minute to tune and maybe 3 minutes on the peep sight that I had to have fixed by another local bow shop due to the peep rolling forward after having it put in at obsession archery, charged $40 for under 5 minutes worth of work that I still had to go and get fixed elsewhere! After that experience Id never go back!!!

2019 November.Back 14 years ago, I bought a Mathews Switchback from Chris at Obsession. Its been a wonderful bow of which Ive harvested a total of 41 deer with. Last weekend, i dropped it out of my treestand messing up the cam, string, and a limb. As good luck would have it, Chris quoted repair cost more than value of the bow. The Total loss helped me easily decide I needed an upgrade. (Guys,...if you need an excuse to upgrade your bow. Just throw it out of your treestand and tell your wife you dropped it. ) My upgrade yesterday became a Mission Sub 1 crossbow. Chris dropped everything he was doing to assist with expert sales explanation (he let me decide, didnt push me one way or the other) After I made my decision, he provided personal instruction on safety and use by shooting it in his range. I did research on price after i bought it. Let me tell you, you wont find a better deal out there than Obsession. Dont waste your time shopping online or elsewhere. Keep up the good work Chris and Chris.2017 November.Both my kids got bows here recently, and Chris spent alot of time giving them good advice, patient personal instruction, and setting up the bows to thier exact needs. I have an older bow that I brought in when the string broke. The staff there were extremely rude and condescending to me. They made fun about how out of date my bow was and try to sell me additional services I didnt need and then laughed when I didnt know what they were talking about. Im an amateur trying to get into archery, and I dont appreciate their patronizing attitude towards me.I will never be returning.

Never shot a bow in my life... i know just as much about bows as i do tutus. I went to obsession and chris helped me every step of the way. Didnt try to take advantage of someone who openly knew nothing about bows. Chris made sure i didnt leave without having everything i needed to know about my bow. I recommended this place to five friends of mine in the first day.

Had an archery equipment problem... Obsession fixed my archery problem. That’s what we all need from a shop.
