I dont usually write reviews one way or the other but I felt this was deserving of one. I had my car remote start/alarm installed here 2 years ago. Great job. Came back last year and got the windows tinted. Also another great job. I decided to let them put a new stereo in my Harley. They had it installed reasonably quickly and it sounds great. 3 days later, my horn and turn signals go out. I checked all my fuses but couldnt find a bad one. Stopped in and talked with Jason and he told me to bring it in. They checked it over and found the problem. It was a bad fuse. I am 51 and maybe I need new glasses. Thanks Jason, Keenan and the whole crew. You guys do it right.

Went to go get remote starter put on Taylor told me it would be an 3-4 hour job. I got there at 9am and was out by 10:30am Tony was the one who did my installation, it was very quick! The pricing was decent and Taylor was just awesome with her customer service and answering any questions I had. I definitely will be returning and strongly suggest them. It is on a first come first serve basis but they have a good amount of employees.

Needed a new remote for my remote start that was installed a few years back. Jason and the crew really were polite and helpful! Would recommend anyone to them! We love our remote start!

Expert Electronics installed a remote starter on our vehicle and almost immediately the check engine light came on and would not go off. Cruise control would not work. Multiple trips to EE to repair but could not fix it. We took the car to our dealer and found that it would cost $650 to repair damage from EE. After months of back and forth, they removed the remote starter and fixed the problems BUT would not refund our money for the starter. Said we could get a store credit for a mattress. There are other more reputable shops that specialize in automotive and don’t sell mattresses on the side. Please learn from our BAD experience.

Definitely recommend this place!! Customer service was fantastic!I originally scheduled an install for a sound amplification elsewhere in Loves Park. After being told conflicting prices and them double booking me twice and being turned away the day of the install, I found Expert Electronics on a google search.I saw they had good reviews so I called and spoke with the manager. He was more than helpful and said he could get me in the same day, whenever I was ready. I dropped my car off about 30 minutes later and they got it done! He was so friendly. Not only did they get the install finished in half the time I originally planned than the other place, it was also almost half the price.When I went to pick my car up, there was a younger male working and a younger female working the register. The make brought me out to my car to show my how to navigate it.Everyone was so patient and kind. Customer service was def on point and the system sounds perfect as well... very pleased. Thank you very much!!! Will def keep you guys in mind if I ever need anything else done or will tell others if they do!

I only leave positive reviews for businesses that earn it and Expert Electronics earned it. I took my vehicle in to have my audio system installed and to have my windows tinted and im beyond satisfied with their work. I was given a quote on parts and labor but when it was all said and done i ended up paying less than quoted. If I have anything else i need done to my vehicle i will choose Expert Electronics. Thank you to everybody involved.

These people do great work. They are very knowledgeable and if they do not have the answer they will get it for you. Their work is very clean and professional. They can be very busy at times and you might have to wait a bit to get your work complete. Just be patient the end result is well worth the wait.

This is THE MOST unprofessional place to take your vehicle. There are a bunch of little kids in here working on sterios. We spent 1300 to get a radio sterio installed into my new vehicle. When I recieved it back everything was fine until the next morning, I went to start it and it was completely dead.Jumped it and took it back to them. They tinkered around for the day and I was able to get it the next day problem apparently fixed. We came home and locked it. Once the sun went down we noticed my flood lights and tail lights lightly blinking. On off, on off. Nothing I tried would stop it so we undid the battery for the night until we took it back that next day. Again they fixed the problem It did last for 3-4 days which I was really excited about. I thought it was all in order until I woke up for work to a dead vehicle again.... ended up talking with expert electronics and deciding it might be my battery or alternator? So I bought both and had the vehicle towed to them. They ended up concluding it was just my battery and I was able to return the alternator. The tech said he used an old Trick and hammered the led connects on my battery to make them expand. This trick worked for a couple weeks until it didnt AGAIN! This time I took it to a professional mechanic. The problem the whole time was when they tightened down the terminal adjusters they broke them and still was trying to tighten them with it broken. Makes sense now why they needed the posts to expandAside from all of this they threw away my fuse cover but allowed me to order another one ($50) and take the receipt for a reimbursement. Apparently they toss things that gets mixed up so they didnt have it.In all this was the worst experience Ive had and it was my first time having a radio installed. I will never reccomend this place.

Walked in today to get an idea of what could be done with the stereo that doesnt work in my van anymore. There were two guys at the counter and a guy and a girl behind the counter. One of the customers got their stuff and left. The girl behind the counter then went in back. The guy behind the counter was helping the next person in line, then it was us next. In the mean time two more customers walked in. It had been about 15 minutes since we had walked in. The girl comes back to the front and points to a guy that had been there about 2 minutes and asked what she could help him with. In my opinion both the employee and customer were wrong. She shouldve said May I Help Whos Next and the customer shouldve said Take Them, They Were Here First. So we will take our business elsewhere.

I went to get my alarm an music service and my Truck Nutz was stolen from the rear of my vehicle.. The service was very good, but I shouldnt have items stolen from my vehicle.. Not happy.. I dont see why a pair of truck Nutz had to be removed for installation they where under the car an they where not returned.. This was an alarm service an Amp install not truck nut removal from the rear of my car

I called the Rockford shop and asked about an appointment to have a remote start installed. I was told that appointments weren’t taken, it is a first come first served situation, and that my request should take about 2-3 hrs. I checked both google and Expert Electronics’ website and noted that they open at 9 am. I arrived at 9 to a closed shop. When I called the number, I was told that the RFD shop was closed for over a year and they assumed everyone knew. I promptly rearranged my ride and went to the other location. I was later, at 6:30pm, told by an indignant manager, I assume, that he was unaware of the cyber mix-up because “I’m not on google all day!” as if trying to insult me. I called the shop at 3pm to check on the status of my car and was told that it should be about an hour and that they would call. I needed to arrange a ride and did so at the only time I could, 4:30. When I got to the shop, I let them know that I was there and patiently sat down to wait for my car. An hour later, I was told that there was problem and it would be a few minutes. At closing time, 6pm, I was told that my car was being brought around and asked to pay. I did so. At 6:30 I was beginning to become upset and asked an employee where my car was. The responding person in charge, I assume manager, seemed peeved at me for asking, as he “never even called me”. Somehow this was my fault. Note: It is a half hour after closing time and all customers who drop off vehicles would have needed a ride to pick up their cars. I finally got my vehicle at 7pm. Communication and customer service were abhorrent.

I had them put willie g skull decals on my Harley bags they were not uniform from one bag to other . Not happy with the way they looked at all. Would not recommend this place to anyone. Owner had a attitude when I brought bike back

Hands down the best experience I have had not only with car stereo installation but with a locally owned and ran business. If you have the opportunity to talk with Jason, Taylor or Todd you will understand why the music I hear now is so good. My only regret is I did not hear about them sooner through friends or media. When I decided to get a system installed my first instinct was Best Buy. I went to the Best Buy store and sat by the stereo systems for about 30 to 45 minutes and nobody ever approached to help understand all the technology. The next day I gave Best Buy a call to hopefully talk with someone regarding my needs. I was on hold for over an hour. I decided to look somewhere else. I called Expert Electronics and spoke with the very knowledgable Taylor and was ready to bring my car in next day. From there Jason and Todd got me set up with a badass system at a very reasonable price. You can tell that everyone at Expert Electronic is there for you. Jason is doing an excellent job and a dedicated man towards his business, family and American values.

Never once did i get my car back and everything was fine. Multiple times i had to put my trunk back together, never was done when they said it would be. I drove over 50+ hours to and from their shop for all the times they had to re wire my systems. Ive dealt with these guys for way too long. One time a staff member wanted to fight me because i wouldnt buy a $700 JL audio amp. They said my car would be done in a day or two, its been 2 weeks! They left all the excess garbage in my car from the wiring and got dirt all over my leather seats and were climbing all over my car damaging it. Also the owner doesnt listen to anything you have to say and the staff doesnt read the work orders. This place is a nightmare and id avoid it all costs. I made the mistake of going back to them when i never should have. My cold hard cash i worked hard for was completely wasted, i regret every dollar i spent here

My son and his girlfriend had them install a very pricey system in which they were very happy with until they seen sparks coming from the subs...brought it in today with fried wires and asked them to help replace the melted mess. Owner was very rude and told them to take the wire and do it themselves. My daughter asked why they werent wearing a mask and owner told them to get the f*** out of his shop. Very rude and unprofessional!

Brought my cousin here to get her Bluetooth display fixed in her Cadillac truck. To be honest I never even went into the place... I just picked her up and dropped her back off to get her car and she told me how awesome it was and that the problem was fixed! It did cost a pretty penny but its done properly and professional.

Still 6 months later and this place hasnt fixed my touch screen radio they installed it like trash i originally had a comment saying this and i got a call from the owner askin me to give them a better review. Promised me he would get it fixed i changed my comment gave him a good review but still nothing on his end. I paid 1,400 for the system and radio so you would think that kinda money it would be flawless work. If anyone is lookin to go here I dont recommend it at all.

This place is great! My radio fried up and they werent sure exactly what happened. They could of just left it at that but they took the responsibility to ensure a customer is taken care of and get it fixed. With companies closed down due to COV-19, it took some time to get it back. They kept me updated the whole time. When I took it in to get it fixed, they surprised me with a full tank of gas!

Very approachable team! Answered all of my questions pertaining to my stereo and speakers. My head unit install with steering controls worked well. The service was quick and affordable. Great advice for speaker upgrades, I will be going back for that service once they arrive.

I went in with an appointment on a Friday to have a 10 powered subwoofer installed in my HHR. They were very busy as the temp just dropped and everyone and their mother was looking to get remote starts installed. It took longer than expected but they exceeded my expectations. Everything was run super clean and the system sounds great. Highly recommend this place!

Had a great experience with the guys here. It was a really hot day and Jason moved a (very comfortable) couch for me, all the way closer to where the cool air was pumping. And to do this while taking care of like 3 other things, was incredibly amazing! The work was done in the time quoted and my installer kept me up to date on the progress. They answered all my questions and were so knowledgeable with everything they did, it blew me away. Hi, I just wanted to thank Jason and the staff at Expert Electronics for fixing my radio that had no sound for 6 months now. We tried fixing it at home, looking up You Tube videos, Googling how tos and even checking on the fuses, but we probably checked the wrong ones, obviously. Lol. I honestly have been very busy with school to have someone look at it. Plus then Covid-19 happened. I found this business on the internet and they were so nice to me and told me to bring my van down to their shop to take a look at it. I brought it in and they got me right in asap. No waiting. Turns out, it was as simple as a fuse that needed to be replaced that had burnt out. I cant thank you guys enough for bringing my sound back! Now, I can listen to my favorite tunes again. I drive a 2008 bmw x5, i had them make me a custom box which is very thick, strong and sounds amazing they also wired the entire vehicle and made a an amp rack out of kindness. custom box and full install in one day.

I live in algonquin and got shops around the corner and I drive a hour and half one way for these guys. They take my in everytime same day I call where everyone else is weeks out. They do awesome work and are very knowledgeable and passionate about their work. Hands down come here🤙🤙

The customer service was great. Jason the owner made me feel comfortable and at home while the performed magic and installed a complete system in my 08 trailblazer. Any nit picking I did he went above and beyond to make me happy. They hit a grand slam on my install and Im glad I ignored the ignorant reviews and listened to all the good ones. No one has 4 stores and lots of employees if they werent doing excellent work. Went in to get an idea what was wrong with my license plate lights, dealership said I couldnt have LEDS in. Went to Expert Electronics and right away ordered some new LEDS for me.
