Great customer service, I understood that I could have to wait up to 3 hrs for the completion of everything before I got there. However, it only took a little over an hour. Thank you to the employees there for being so polite and professional of I could give more stars I would.

I had a rock chip in my windshield. Shannon was the mobile service technician. He was very polite and professional. He was efficient in repairing my windshield. The chip is not invisible where he fixed it, but it’s 95% less visible. As he described it, it appears as a bug speck on the glass. I considered replacing my windshield since I have a new vehicle, but I feel the repair job was done very well and I’m satisfied with his work. In talking with Shannon, it’s obvious he takes pride in what he does, and his workmanship reflected that. Thank you for fixing my windshield!!!

I read all the reviews good bad and indifferent. They didnt wait they took action they sent a driver to go get a windshield that they had ordered but was not going to come in. They called me the minute they found out I knew the day was going to be different. I read all the reviews I knew it could take hours or just a few seconds. They are the kindest the nicest people I have dealt with so many contractors in 23 years in Georgia and this company is a 10 star. They came in way under what they said would take to get my windshield once their driver, got in from North Georgia. Ive used them before they did a fantastic job the car wash broke My window the woman the rollers. 48 hours later I have a brand new windshield. The windshield slit the rear window washer for the van they were wonderful they popped open the paneling they put on a new little piece tested it the rear windshield washer was working fine we could watch it jiggle with the water going through it. They put everything back and I was on my way. I would have made it to the high school in Kathleen from North Macon Georgia. The traffic on I-75 was a nightmare I got off and went the back roads took it easy. Because Safelite was so honest with me I went ahead and made a backup plan the night before I was to pick up my van. I had to use that backup plan. But Safelite got me out as fast as I could I really appreciate that everyone was so so nice. The facility is very clean very covid-19 CDC approved. If it werent for the traffic I would have been in Kathleen Georgia picking up a teenager. Safe flight got me out perfectly good timing. Im sorry for people that have had a bad experience. Give him another chance they are a great company and the workers are family you can tell theyve all been working together for a long time. We dont find that now this day and age. That says something about Safelite if their work or stay with them and theyre all a family that means thats a good company. I appreciate them so much.

Went in to get my windshield replaced. I received the best customer service that I’ve received in a while. I was greeted and then he explained what they were going to do and what time they were going to be finished. They finished exactly the time he told me.

The people who work here are very courteous and customer oriented. The initial installation went well but I had an issue with an attachment to the windshield and had return for warranty work. This was apparently fixed. The 4 star rating is because unless you have the right phone number you cannot speak to a person. The publicly listed numbers roll to a national number which refers you to an appointment website. Once you get there it doesnt want to do anything but make an appointment. Very frustrating. Anyhow, the job got done.

I had an appointment at the Safelite AutoGlass location on Columbus Road in Macon, GA.They worked to replace my windshield and it needed to be recalibrated. It took approximately four hours to complete but my car was clean when I picked it up.The office staff was very pleasant and helpful to answer any questions I had.

Scheduled a visit weeks out. Was given a 10 hour window for the visit and needed it covered location in case of rain. Had to take a day off to be available, received a message they would be there between 9:00-10:00 but that notice was inaccurate. Called 2 hours later and was told I was 5th on the list. Never heard back.

Got a couple quotes after the below issues and they were the most expensive by a mile. Glad I called around. I did online estimate because you cant call unless you do that first according to the Macon location voice message. Then called to ask a question and got a human on the phone! I was told that someone would call me back. By the time someone called me back days later my windshield was already fixed by another company. Honestly, I actually used them before when I was living somewhere else and it was pretty good so it might just be the Macon location? Appears that maybe all they have here is a catchy jingle...

They took the time to answer questions and learned new stuff. Very friendly atmosphere.

They came to my house prepared to repair my windshield. The work order clearly said replace. Then, it was going to be an additional $100. I was going to have to wait another week. I called an independent glass replacement shop and the man was at my house promptly and ready to install my new windshield! So, I will never use safe lite auto.

Uses Covid as an excuse not to answer phone. I guess these people think they can catch it over the phone. Needed a quote on replacing a rear view mirror not listed in the options online. Maybe they do not offer this service, maybe they just make so much money charging high prices on windshields they are not interested in doing smaller jobs. Found a great independent glass company that had awesome customer service and actually appreciated my call.

Wife had a chip in her windshield so we got sent to this Safelite by our insurance. First appointment booked for a Saturday between 1-6pm. Tech said he would be at our home around 430-530. At 530 he called and said we were his next stop. At 615pm he called again to confirm the address. Told him not to bother showing up since we were eating dinner. Rebooked online for Monday morning 8-12 am for them to show up at my wife’s office in Macon. By mid morning no word so I tried to call their office. Just automated voice telling you to book online. Check the appointment online....doesn’t exist....even though I have a confirmation email. After calling my insurance company back I get to talk to an actual Safelite person. Their “automated” system didn’t actually book my 2nd appointment. Such BS. Go with someone else and save yourself the trouble.

These guys do us all in the driving world a great service when we are need of a repair, a quick fix, or even a total replacement of our glass needs for our automobiles. Poor business model using the bait and switch approach. Manager and tech gave an all in price then the night before, I get an email showing a total $300 more than what was quoted. They did not try to correct the problem. The manager just said this is the price now and theres nothing I can do about it. I strongly urge you to find someone else to use.

Wow! What great service. Called first thing in the morning and had a technician by 1:00 p.m. Shannon was the nicest guy. Took time to explain what he was doing and how long everything would take, in 100 degree weather. Finished right when he said he would. Moved another appointment to ensure I could leave when I needed to. I could not have asked for better service!!

Horrible service. Booked an appointment. Was out of town when the glass broke, so I needed to be serviced so I could return home. Was told my window was from 1-6pm. No one showed up for 4 of the 6 hours. We received a text that said our technician was “on the way,” but when they never showed, we were forced to call looking for them. At that time, we were informed that someone called us this morning to inform us of a last minute cancellation.(I work in a area where there is no cell service.) They didn’t leave a voice message. They only called once. We never received any updates on our appointment status, and we were still getting texts expecting the technician. Safelite blamed us not answering their call and not being notified of the cancellation, despite them not following up with that notification to ensure that we were made aware correctly. They were not apologetic. They didn’t offer me anything for my 6 hour wait. The best they could do was send the tech out the following morning. I will fulfill my appointment because I need to get my window fixed, but otherwise I wouldn’t use this provider. For a company who touts speedy service and the efficiency of their deliver option, this location is not up to par. Very careless and unprofessional, 0/5, do not recommend. I will be demanding a discount for my time and the inconvenience.

I had a wonderful experience with Safelite and would rate them 10 stars if I could! The technician, Ramon #1812-087, was friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and did a great job. He was fast, too. I very much appreciated his personal call that morning to give me an approximate time when he would be at my house that afternoon thus freeing-up my day instead of me having to sit and wait. He also called to let me know that he was running about 20-30 mins late which I appreciated. It was also nice to have him coming to my house and replacing the windshield in my driveway instead of me having to travel to another town to get it done. Having Safelite replace the windshield in my car was a great experience. Thank you!

The guy who came out to repair a small crack ended up causing it to crack in many places. We understand that can happen. But after I came in the house my husband went out and he asked have those cracks always been there? He knew they weren’t because we talked before I went into the house. I have always used them for repairs and replacement of windshields but refuse to again. The problem with me is there was no I’m sorry my employee didn’t tell the truth. That’s all I wanted. I trusted Safelite to remove and replace the windshield in my 2019 Grand Sport Corvette after a truck threw a rock at it. They used a genuine GM windshield with heads-up display and rain sensing system abilities. The technician was outstanding and knew exactly how to pull the old one out and put the new one in with zero damage. These folks are pros and you can bet Ill use them again in the future.

On the way to vacation a rock hit our windshield and put a small chip in it. So frustrating and I really didn’t know what to do but I knew the chip could expand and crack across the whole windshield. The price for my windshield went up over $100 in less than one months time. These places try to exploit you because they know you cant drive around with a cracked windshield. I cant imagine what the price would be if I had to have mobile service. I will not be using Safelite Auto Glass. There are local establishments who will do it for you for half the cost. Dont waste your time with these people.

I chose Satellite because of what I thought would be convenience and quality. I originally thought things would work being that they immediately scheduled for a tech to out. My window ended up not being an easy fix. The tech came out and saw that the glass that he was coven isnt the one for my vehicle. Thats where things got crazy. I had to contact safelite and my insurance company and I found that the window they ordered wouldve been about $700 to replace. I just got off the phone with a rude representative and decided I no longer wanted to do business with the company. This was too much for a passenger window.

Their follow through was very good and their process was very efficient. If you have windshield issues, these are the folks to call.

Quick intake, plenty of space to wait, not too many people at same time, they can handle the amount they schedule, recommend a scheduling if going to the shop, They know what they’re doing. I was there with a Lame windshield crack but they took care of it no problemo. Give em a go. Friendly, on it. No issues.

I am currently communicating with my insurance company concerning Safelite. My appointment was rescheduled roughly five times. There was an employee by the name of Jay that was nice enough to inform me about what was going on. According to Safelite they couldn’t find a windshield for my car so it had to be ordered. Once ordered it was misplaced somehow. After about two weeks I finally got my windshield replaced and now my cameras don’t work properly and when driving air comes through the windshield. It has been a horrible experience. I wish I would have just kept my cracked windshield because at least my cameras were in working order.

The team was professional and quick.

The pros at Safelite went above and beyond to save my windshield, filling a complex chip caused by a steel bolt from a flatbed truck. They tried two different methods to fix the chip and were honest about how risky the second method was (I was told that it could split my windshield instead of fixing it). In the end, the repair was made successfully and allowed me to take an extended trip without having to worry about the original chip spreading into a crack.

I was not pleased by my service with Safelite Macon. My appointment was rescheduled multiple times due to a part having to ordered. I was patient and understanding even when the part was misplaced by Safelite, causing my appointment to be delayed for the third time. While not given an apology, I was told by the manager that I would receive a call from him within a day on the status of my part. Instead, I received no call and instead my appointment was cancelled by Safelite. Over a week later and still no call, so I took my business elsewhere.

Windshield replaced with OEM (by request, reasonable extra charge) at service center while I waited. Professional job indistinguishable from factory original. Very pleased with service and value.

Horrible- Was scheduled for an appointment between 1 and 6. They CANCELLED my appointment without getting in touch with me (I called at 4 to double check they had the right information and THAT’S when they told me!) Blame was put on the technician, which I think is just poor business, and they tried to solve the problem by saying they could reschedule me that day (the day they told me my appointment was cancelled.......) I said ok, and as expected, they did not show.I’ve used Safelite before and have been happy with the service, but obviously they have not kept up the high standards they have had in the past for their company. I would go to Glass Dr. or Auto Guy before trying this company.

First time went (had to go to shop to have camera calibrated), a cracked windshield was put in. Noticed it immediately. Had to go back and they could not fix it as needed new molding this time. So, waiting for another windshield and molding to be replaced. Doesnt matter that it is a 92 mile round trip for me. Also, in worst part of Macon you can imagine and shop area not the cleanest.

This franchise confirmed appointment that morning but then was no show and no call on a mobile windshield replacement. Manager claims they tried to contact me multiple times, but I have no missed calls on my phone. What a silly old-school excuse these days when every call is logged. If he at least had the customer service skills to apologize, I would be more understanding.Mananger was arrogant and rude. Do yourself a favor and find someone else to replace your windshield if you live near Macon. These folks wasted my entire Saturday afternoon.

Took several times going back forst windshield had spots you could see in morning after numerous calls finally agreeded to replace. This windshieldis okay.

Not sure if this review would apply to Safelite companies in other areas, but my experience with this one was horrible. First, the technician arrived earlier than the appointed time (12/28/2017; 1pm-6pm) (which no one was home), and when the technicians did show up, they brought a broken window. The rescheduled appointment (1/3/2018) (for which I had to take off for) was cancelled without notification. Both times I found this unprofessional and very inconvenient. Hopefully I will never have another windshield to repair, but if I do, this company will not be getting my business.
