Such an awesome crew!! Curtis is THE BEST, Jason the guitar tech is incredible... this week I had an issue with my guitar pick up and getting to the batteryNormally Jason would assist, but he wasnt there. I was panicked. The store manager and another extremely knowledgeable employee actually loosened my strings and were able to get into the battery pack inside my guitar body. They changed my battery and saved the day!!! I was able to play last night plugged in with no issues!!! ❤❤❤ so thankful!!

Good customer service. We picked the wrong item from Amazon. Best Buy didnt have what we needed and neither did Walmart. But Guitar Center had exactly what we were looking for. They are a little pricey but the warranty and quality balances it out 😏. They didnt hesitate to answer any of the questions my fiancé had, and he had a lot of questions 😂.

Amazing staff and selection, staff was extremely kind and helped out. I told them one day I want to get a Gibson SG, he grabbed a ladder and got it for me so I could play it for fun. Just bought a Fender Squier Telecaster for a great price at $230. Cannot recommend enough

I like the prices at guitar center but some of the costumer service workers arent too sharp. I didnt see it when one guy put my receipt in the bag and he didnt tell me. I was standing there waiting for the receipt to be put in my hand and my son had walked out the door with the bag. 😖. Im old schooled.

Helpful staff but they dont have a lot of stock on the shelves, most of the guitar racks were empty.

Still have an unused multi-track recorder that I purchased after GC salesmans lies about its capabilities. Was smallest part of multiple item purchase and they refused to take it back or swap for something else. Have never returned nor will I ever purchase from GC ever again. Hope they go belly-up amid their current bankruptcy efforts!

Comparable to interacting with used car salesman especially, if youre not knowledgeable about music gear.I will say, I was very happy with the price and results of getting my guitar set-up. The tech did a good job and didnt try to pressure me into paying for something I didnt need. I would definitely recommend getting a set-up but, I wouldnt buy anything here unless it was absolutely necessary. Just to expensive.

Cool place, found the perfect quitar for my son :) just watch out, they will try and make you spend every dime you got! I suggest going in and looking for what you want, dont let them tell you what you need because they will undoubtedly pick you out the most expensive of what they have.

Bought 4 or 5 guitars from there in the last year. If they dont have it they can get it from another Guitar Center. Their ESP protects used gear so if you buy a used guitar its protected with a warranty at a modest charge.

I bought a preowned Presonus 192 from this Macon, Georgia Guitar Center about a week ago. I just got it today. I opened it and to my surprise there is no power adapter in the box. So I called customer service first and I couldn’t even tell the rep what my issue was, before he cut me off to tell me to call the store. When I called the store, and told them that the device shipped with no power adapter, he told me that it didn’t come in with one. So I asked him, how could they test it to even make sure it worked. He then told me that they have one in house and I would have to call Presonus and order one. There was no mention of this in the description, they was no apology, no care or concern. It would have been nice to make this understanding clear that it didn’t ship with a power adapter when I was first inquiring about the product. This way I can make a different decision if I had to. I broke down my entire studio so that I could connect everything when it came and now I have to wait until I can get a power adapter from Presonus. I’m normally a fan of Guitar Center and I spend a lot of money with this company. Rest assured that I will never buy anything else from this Macon, Georgia store if this is the kind of customer service I’m going to receive. I encourage anyone reading this to do the same!!

Out of all the Guitar Centers Ive visited across America, the staff at this location has been the most accessible and friendly. They were willing to help the customer...and answered my questions. Definitely recommend this Guitar Center to anyone.

Small store. Not a wide selection but lets face it, thankfully its Guitar Center. Access to their catalog makes for a great selection. I was tempted to give the 5 stars because every musician desparately wants every Guitar Center to succeed. But if it wasnt for the friendly staff to rescue this place, the lying advertising and the bate and switch policies of all Guitar Centers would leave every shopper with a bad experience. Thats why these guys get 4 stars from me instead of 3. They always do everything in their power to make customers happy. Just ask. Tell them what you need. Theyll find you the best available product and quality to fit your budget.

For thr macon area, this music store is as good as it gets. While, there aren’t many high-end guitars there that interest me, I always enjoy checking out the used gear and chatting with the staff. If you are interested in budget to mid-line instruments, this is def a place to consider. Mark and his staff will treat your right!

A smaller format Guitar Center but definitely a great store. There are usually several associates there to assist you. Most of the gear is msrp but you can always find a deal here or there. Overall a great place to find any gear for your musical needs.

If I could give no stars I would... This kid named Collin that works here is so rude to customers and DOES NOT NEED TO WORK WITH THE PUBLIC. I thought it was just me but I watched his interaction with others and it was awful as well. Last time I will ever step foot in this store.

Super helpful staff. Me and a couple friends went in there in a rush as we needed to set up for an event in an hour. we had speakers but jo cables an they not only helped me find what I needed, but let me set it up in store to double check it worked before I went to my gig.

Every time I arrive at this Guitar Center I do not receive immediate attention/help. No one cares to see if I need help finding anything unless I ask. The workers are very eager in selling you unnecessary items which is annoying. I understand they get paid based on commission but its still not an excuse to keep persuading me. The headphones I bought were obviously used & not brand new because I did not receive all of the components, so I will be returning them ASAP and getting my money back. I originally was going to exchange them but Guitar Center does not deserve my money.

Im rating this at a 1. First off i called to see if guitar center could help me on my budget of $125.00 out the door for a Fender I Liked. This is day 2 someone there said they could help.i wasted time and gas these 2 days to accomplish nothing. Well this day wrapped up doing business with guitar city. I get paid monthly and was going to get all my starter band equipment here but the manager on this day Tuesday May 21st would not sell the used Fender wich was marked at $125.00 and I had $125.00 in my budget I had explained to Michael that works there. The manager said he was on lunch. I was highly dissatisfied with the store not working with me and saying out the door would be $127+ I guess there are other places. I will come back to my post later to see if a owner or someone higher in management read my post. Cause $2 and some change to let $125.00 Ihad to buy this walk out the door. Was Trying to start playing Gospel songs for our Lord. GOD Bless 💜❤💙

Visited this Guitar Center last weekend not expecting much service based on my prior visits to other stores in this chain. Man was I blown away. My sales associate John M. immediately introduced himself, knew what I was looking for and had it in my hands within 5 minutes of arrival. Long story short we worked a trade for some gear I had and I walked out w a pristine Gibson J45...man I love that guitar. Will do business with them again soon. Best service Ive ever had in a GC by FAR!!

Service is friendly but if you have any sensitivity to fragrances DO NOT shop here. They use horrible strong cleaner in their bathroom, so strong the entire store reeks. Walking in the front door made me sick to my stomach.

Macon guitar center. Wasnt impressed at all. Couldnt get any help. Had to walk around employees talking to other customers who just simply wanted to see how an instrument sounded. Tried to ask a question, employee simply walked away. So I decided to get several packs of strings so the trip wasnt a total waste. Oh well! Stood at register for five minutes. Been to 75% of guitar centers from NYC to Orange CA to Miami. This store and the one in San Antonio are in a tie for the worst GC. SMH.

8 years of doing business at the Macon Location. In my 30 plus years of buying equipment of different kinds, this is the first Store that I have ever returned to for any and all needs. Keyboards Amps, software, interfaces and 8 Bass Guitars.NONE BETTER. PERIOD.

While this is a smaller guitar center, much smaller than my regular GC in Atlanta, you get that more personable feel here, in Macon. Jason Janik rocks and helped me with an amazing guitar and pedals. Feels like we were old pals talking, and yet we just met that day. The staff is friendly, and even when I encountered a problem, they were there to help fix it right away. I’m becoming a regular there.

Trash service they offered 58 dollars for a 200 dollar guitar so my advice is dont buy or sell to them

Took my Gibson acoustic in one day for an adjustment. I didnt have an appointment because it was a spur of the moment trip. They took care of it with no problem at all. Great store.

Was in the store to buy a lav microphone system couldnt decide between the BLX shure or the Sennheiser xsw1. Watched a guitar center review on my phone and looked up the reviews against each other. In the store for 45 minutes and not a soul spoke to me.

This is the most disappointing guitar center store I have ever been too. The staff is rude, and laughs at me when I want to trade in new gear. There is not a selection of good inventory here either. Just make the extra trip and go to Atlanta. This store needs to be shut down or redone starting with getting all new staff.
