M & M not only made my car safe and functional, they made it beautiful.My situation:-I was t-boned in a hit and run.-I did not have full coverage insurance.-Had to get it fixed because it wasnt just ugly, it wasnt safe-Had to pay out of pocket for repairs***I was very lucky. My whole family offered to help split the cost, but it was still pretty limited***What happened:-I got several estimates in the entire Madison area; prices ranged from 3800 to over 9000.^-Everyone was informed it was going to be out-of-pocket, it was our family pooling limited resources, and there wouldnt be much wiggle room once the cost was set.-The initial requests were made via email with a series of very detailed photos included, understanding that this was preliminary and an in-person inspection would be needed to finalize things.-M & M got back to me very promptly and followed up a few days later.They also gave a solid estimate of how long my car would have to be there...-They had the most reasonable, complete local estimate.•very clear •very up front •very thoughtful -saved me from the nightmare of trying to get rides for who knows when and for who knows how long-also, offered me a loaner vehicle--I had switched to full coverage insurance so it was free! For over a week!I AM SO GLAD WE CHOSE TO WORK WITH THEM!M & M was caring and understanding of the situation. All I can speak to is their lack of professionalism and customer service, because I opted for another shop. The guy who answered the phone was extremely condescending. He talked over me, interrupted, and bragged that hes like a big brother to all his female customers (I dont need one, thanks). Truly unimpressed.

They are mechanical experts who know and understand Customer service. They are honest and efficient. I have always brought all of my many cars there for service.

I bought my beautiful Plasma Blue Sti in NY a month ago. To my dismay, five days after I bought it, I was rear ended. After doing my research on auto body shops in the area, I decided to go to M&M, and immediately I knew that this would be the shop that would work on my car.Greg spoke with me upon arriving, and he was a pleasure to talk to. You could see the pride that he took in not only restoring cars to superb condition, but also in ensuring that his clients are fully satisfied. He did the initial estimate, and reassured me on multiple occasions that my car will be in the right hands.Mike also worked on the initial estimate, and answered all of my questions fully as well. I left his office without a doubt in my mind, that my car would be in perfect condition soon enough.Steve updated me nearly every day with pictures of my car! He always made sure to call me regarding questions on parts, and gave me time frames as to what would be completed that day/week.M&M Auto Body is the number one body shop in the area. Had great work done! The lock on my hatch on SUV hadnt worked for a few months. They took it apart and cleaned it. It works great. They also replaced a piece of trim on a door. It was done sooner than I thought and less expensive then I thought.When I drove it home. I didnt notice until a couple days later that they also cleaned the fog off my headlights. What a nice surprise to have a business go above and beyond! I highly recommend them!

My car was rear ended in an accident~I had 1 of 3 estimates done at M & M and got a real good feeling from their manager Steve~he was very up front about everything and offered knowledge on the best ways to handle me situation~I decided to let them handle my repairs and am extremely happy and thankful I did!!! Very satisfied with the work performed. Up front and honest with the price and got oem parts where they could. They also gave me a loaner car while my truck was in the shop. Completed the work in 3 days. Would use them again if the situation arose.

For a short period of time I did not have access to my parking garage and the landscapers at my apartment building caused damage on three sides of my 2 year old Orange Jeep Renegade, including a HUGE chip on the back hatch. After a week at M&M it looked just as it did when I bought it off the lot! Super impressed with the flawless paint job; they even detailed the inside of the vehicle before returning to me. Definitely recommend!

Took my car to M&M Auto Body on the recommendation of a friend.Could not be happier with their work! Steve and the crew fabricated a curved piece of metal to repair a rust hole in my wheel well. I had rail dust removed from my car. Ive never had it done before, so I cant say much about whether it was a good value in comparison to other places. I didnt shop around, I just went on the recommendation of Lenny at DiMaggios. I was definitely satisfied, and my grandfather was an auto body specialist and mechanic who taught me to look closely. My car is now rail dust free, and when I noticed some tiny spots missed, they took the car back and touched those spots up right away at no extra charge. Ill go back for future automative needs.

I wish that there was another star for my 6-star rating! My house was robbed and both cars were stolen (and eventually recovered). My 2009 VW Beetle was in bad shape as the bad guys decided to do the happy dance on the roof. After M&M Auto Body repair it look fantastic. Thanks!

Ran over a wooden cover and it flipped up and smashed my lower front in. The radiator was trashed and there was damage to my bumper and other things. M&M was awesome. I got a loaner car and they were done with the repairs in about a week. Cant tell anything happened except in my wallet lol. They worked well with my car insurance also. I pray I never get into another accident but if I do Ill be sure to use M&M Auto again. Forgot to take after pics bit it looks great.

Im glad I didnt go with this place and went with another. During the estimate all he wanted to do was talk about himself and his personal issues. Fine what ever, guy talks a good talk. Talked about he wanted to be the QB and take charge so I wouldnt have to worry about anything. What a joke that turned out to be. 2 days before I was scheduled to drop off my car, call him for an update to ensure everything was in place. Couldnt find my info and said he would call me back, didnt call back. So I call the next day, now one day before drop off, puts me on hold for 15min before I finally hang up in frustration. 2 weeks of sitting around for nothing thanks to this place. I take my car to another body shop, they find an additional $1600 in damage that this place failed to put down on the estimate. Not only that he had the paint scheme of my car completely wrong!!! Seriously this place left a really bad taste in my mouth. Just thankful they are not doing the work.

I had a minor scratch on the back bumper of my brand new car. I was devastated and went to both M&M and Sparkle for quotes. Sparkle told me they could only repaint it for $600. M&M quoted me about $200 but also said they could try just buffing it out first for about $30. I dropped my car off in the morning and was given a ride to work by one of their employees. Around lunch time it was done and the same employee picked me exactly on time. It was like magic! I couldnt see the scratch at all. I still cant and its been two months and I have gotten my car washed twice. They also cleaned my car. I couldnt be happier. Greg was the man who have me the estimate and he was so friendly and personable. I didnt feel like he was trying to take my money. He was just as honest as possible. Now I have another scratch in another area on my bumper and I will gladly bring it back so they can work their magic again.

I came there last week because my car get a long scratch at the door when I turned into the wrong lane in a gas station. Im a student so I asked them to try to make my car look better with the minimum cost. They did a great job at covering the scratch on my car and now if you dont look very closely, you can barely tell there was a scratch before. The color matches perfect, and the price is very reasonable. Definitely a reliable great place if you are looking to do something about the damage on your car. Ill come back again if my car has other problem in the future.

Proceed with caution. Some decent reviews caused me to call. At first you will think youre speaking an older friendly relative you havent seen in years. Thats to get you in the door. Keep your eyes open from there and ask lots of questions. Had to use another shop to complete the process that was promised to be done by M&M. Theyre probably OK for basic repair, but dont let your guard down on anything beyond. Youll waste a lot of time as I had to.

In the fall of 2018, I took my 2001 BMW 330ci to M&M Auto Body to get a repair estimate to have some rust fixed. Other things got my money and the repairs did not get done. When I took my car in 14 months later, the rust was way worse. My car was almost a lost cause. Mike came up with a plan to save my car. I told him he could have it as long as he needed it. A week into the repairs, he sent me 12 photographs of new damage. In addition, he noticed the jack points underneath were rusted and if not reinforced, could collapse when my car was put on the lift. Some cosmetic things like the trunk lid did not get fixed, but my car came back to me structurally sound and I could afford the repairs. It was finished on Friday, March 22nd. The jack point areas were solid again and coated to look like new. The little scratches were gone. The rust was gone. My car looked ten years younger and I love it again. Thank you M&M Auto Body.

I took my Jetta in here a few years ago and they did a phenomenal job. Mike Miyagawa, the owner, was there and I got to speak to him for a bit. I was very confident after speaking with him and his team. They had dozens of before and after photos on the wall too, so you can see the kind of great work theyve done in the 40 or so years theyve been open. I highly recommend supporting this business. You will be well taken care of.

These guys did a great job with color matching, offered a very reasonable price, and even buffed out some scratches that werent related to the original damage for an extremely reasonable price. In addition to all that, they even let me borrow a loner car until mine was repaired. Look no further, this is the place to have bodywork done in Madison!

Excellent and trustful business! There is saying in China 不比不知道 一比吓一跳. Its meaning is no comparison no knowledge; once compared, you would get surprised! I led my friend to have her $3000 cars damaged body repaired, and we got estimations from $3000, $2000, to here for just $250! It is unbelievable! And their attitudes are also very good!

Update - 1April2015. Mike contacted me and really wanted to straighten things out. He got my car back in and really did a great job with the scratches and my car looked fabulous. He sincerely want to make things right. Im glad I gave them a second chance.They initially did an OK job repainting an area on my car so I though I would take it in and get it detailed and the minor scratches buffed out. I paid $200 and believe they only washed the car. None of the scratchs were gone and we are talking very minor surface scratches. I called 3 times to talk to the manager and even left a message for the owner, who was on vacation for a month. No one got back to me. I guess they dont want my business.

Im very disappointed with my first time experience. The lack of quality customer service and care, not to mention empathy from the staff, is truly heartbreaking.Thanks to Mike for at least trying to help me out, but the rest of the staff was trying too hard to get to know me on a way too personal level (which made me so uncomfortable) instead of taking care of my car needs. My car and my safety in the car was my main focus, and after talking with me, that should have been their main focus, too (not whether or not I look like one of the staffs daughters, showing me his Facebook page as proof. That was too creepy for me).I wish I could be one of the customers who could rave about this place. Notice how I havent even mentioned the final result of my car, all because of this horrible customer service. How unfortunate.This local shop is one I will not be using again. Im happy for those who were lucky to have a good experience.

Mike has been doing work for my wife and I for many years. The most recent was our 2013 Cadillac XTS that was hit in a multi vehicle accident with extensive damage to the driver side and front end. When we picked it up the car looked brand-new like the day we bought it, including the interior. This is the only place we will ever take our vehicles !!!

I crossed paths with Mike and his staff at M & M Auto Body last week during a trip through Madison. I currently live on the West Coast and was visiting Madison as a former student at the UW. I was involved in a rather unfortunate hit and run incident driving a vehicle that wasnt mine. I needed some minor body work done, but I needed it in short order. Mike personally took an interest in my situation and gave me a very reasonable estimate. Not only that, but Mike was able to get my vehicle in the next morning and quickly performed the work. Throughout the whole process I dealt with a staff that exhibited exceptional customer service with a comforting personal touch that I believe is rare in most business environments. I was extremely moved by their professionalism, and I think this is a main reason Mike has been serving Madison residents for over 30 years. Mike and the entire crew and M & M Auto Body are GREAT! I rear-ended another car and the front end of my 2010 Chevy Impala was banged up BAD! They walked me thru what they needed to fix, the insurance adjuster was late and they called them up asking what was the hold up, they called me with updates and I could call them whenever and if ever I had a question, I had a loaner car for me (not the newest car in the world but a loaner that got me everywhere I had to go) for no charge. I met M & M distributors and got to ask them questions. And they went to bat for me to make sure what needed to be fixed got fixed and that nothing was left out! I will and have told anyone and everyone, GO to M & M Auto Body! My car looks NEW, they detailed the inside and out when it was done and fixed a couple little dents no charge for me! For the bad review on here I’m not sure what you’re talking about cause I had the best experience and did not have any issues, they even had my car done early!Thanks again M & M! Did not enjoy this business as my first autobody experience. They had me in a loaner far too soon, which I later ended up paying for completely out of pocket, Pushed back the completion date 3 or 4 times, and when I finally got it back the interior of the door they replaced turned out to be in very poor used condition. I was promised an immaculate door and the washed out, scratched up, chipped, scuffed door I got, was rather disappointing.
