Easy to find and lots of parking. Clear entrance sign and separate place for the cars to be worked on which definitely made it easy to hear and communication at the location off HWY 20 in Madison, Alabama was outstanding. I had a flat tire that was unable to be repaired. Emily was extremely helpful in helping me find a tire that was similar to my current tires and at a great price. Alex helped me when I picked up my car as well and both made the process very simple. Definitely recommend!

Would never take my vehicle here again. Stopped in to have two wheels put on and they played with the air bags on my truck dropping it on my passenger side fender crinkle the fender and chipping the paint. To make matters worse I was driving to a friends house and this being the third time I have drove it since the tires were put on and the driver side tire not being torqued enough out ran my truck while running 55 miles an hour needless to say it tore the passenger side fender all to pieces and messed up the new tire and I am sure since I slid down the road on a lower tubular control arm that’s probably messed up to. After contacting them and stopping by 3 times I have yet to hear from this GM that was suppose to call me about what we can do to fix the issue that they caused. So I will be contacting an attorney Monday morning to ensure this matter is properly taken care of. Funny thing is I talked to another guy today that said he lost his rim and guess who worked on his truck, ding ding ding Mavis. I made sure to add pics so you could see the damage and the skid mark in the road were I slid up a hill about 60 yards til I stopped in a ditch. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere cause this place will not do anything but cause you more problem with little to no help.

The gentlemen at Mavis were respectful, knowledgeable and clearly explained what was wrong with my tire. Not only did they take care of me on a Sunday but they also were quick! Highly recommend this tire shop!

Alex was so kind during my service. I was having issues with one of my tires and was told by Firestone up the street that it wasn’t repairable. I was quoted over $300 to fix one tire. I went to Mavis and they were able to patch not one but two of my tires for free because of the wait time. I will definitely be going back again if I need them and I would highly recommend them to friends.

This is the 2nd time we have used Mavis. My husband and I have one vehicle we use daily and that is my car and they have done a wonderful job both times. I trust them to do what needs to be done and not rip me off just trying to get money. For a girl who knows nothing about vehicles they could easily take advantage of my lack of knowledge and I’m thankful that I can trust them to keep me safe driving a good car and keep my wallet safe by not over charging me. I was in and out dropping off my car and picking it up as well. Customer service was great! I got help right away and everyone has been super nice! About 2 weeks ago we brought in our car to have 2 tires patched. There was only 2 employees working, Tyler and Devin. They are absolutely wonderful! Very professional! They were extremely busy and they were working as hard as they could to take care of everyone! They communicated with us about every step of the way about how long its going to take and everything. I paid the original quoted price for the service needed, I received quick service and there was not even a 5-10 minute wait before they began their work on my vehicle, I was not asked to wait an extended amount of time to only to be given an astronomical quote that supposedly included a, discounted price as I received from another unnamed company. I was told before I arrived that they would get right on the job and they did just that. Honesty and Integrity always catch my full attention. 😇🤗 The staff was attentive to my needs of service and there were no hidden costs.💯 The staff went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied and they took time and they showed me exactly what was needed in addition to requested service and gave complimentary services I truly needed as well. I want to say that this was Divine Intervention because I had an unknown serious, dangerous, issue with my vehicle and they did not exploit my dire need and that in itself speaks volumes. I got a screw in my tire while getting gas Thursday 9/2/2021. I went to Mavis at 7am and didnt realize they didnt open til 8. Since I had time I went down the road to Firestone and they couldnt repair my tire until 12pm. I went back to Mavis and waited for them to open. Once they open I they were able to get to my car. It took them little longer than expected. But the service was fast and the staff was really nice. I previously been then a month prior for the same thing on a different tire. Both times they were great and when its time for new tires they will be the first place I go to.

Came in for an air leak in the tire. Staff was amazingly friendly and they got the tire fixed pretty quick.

My tire developed a big bump on the sidewall. The tire measures as new tread, and they agreed to replace it, under warranty. Then they said that I was going to owe the $90 for the replacement tire!! I dont think they understand how warranties are supposed to work. I also realize that I was charged $30 for testing my tire pressure monitoring system... this car does not have one!! All they said was, that is strange.. Never again will Mavis get my money. This is why people order online now.I called the corporate number, and the store called me, asking about my complaint with them. I explained, and they said that I shouldnt have to pay $90 for the replacement tire... but this is all lip service so far. The guy at the counter (store manager) seems to think I should, and says that it is company policy. 🤔

Welcome to Mavis Tires & Brakes, Americas tire discounter. Is the sign youre greeted with as you walk into the lobby. A few scattered people roam about waiting on their cars, and I showed up to have a flat tire changed because this was the only place in town that had the tire size I needed the next day.This was last Thursday. Its been a week and they still have my car. I bought four tires, change two (including the flat) day one, and the other two when the other tires come in. It has been, at the very least, a comedy of errors unlike anything I have ever seen.First they changed the wrong tires. I showed up and the flat is still on there. They said theyd throw one of the old tires back on the flat till the new ones arrived. The kid at the counter, Alex, smugly told me that he couldnt change my tire back the next day because miraculously the other tires also had nails in them, despite only having one flat. So I guess I had three flat tires somehow. I just decided to wait till Tuesday when the other tires were supposed to arrive.Tuesday comes around, no tires. They somehow when to the wrong store. Theyll be here Wednesday! Well, Im here Wednesday and they arent here. They said theyd throw another one on til my tires get here Friday, now, and I showed up 40 minutes past the quoted time the manager said hed be finished.. car hadnt moved. Still flat. Days later.I paid for four tires and they somehow canceled the order for the other two. So they had to re-order them so.. I guess Ill be back Friday and hope to God that somehow its not messed up this time?After everything is said and done, Michael, the manager, made it right and turned a negative experience with a bunch of errors that were legitimately out or his hands into a positive one. He seems very professional and genuine. Four stars after everything I went through.

Overall,I am extremely satisfied with this place! I have been to many different tire shops across the city and this by far exceeding all my expectations. I was hesitant at first since I read some of the reviews, but come to find out they have a new management team here that really do care about you, your car, and your time. This team really made my day. Again I do appreciate the honesty. I will tell all my friends and family!

DO NOT GET YOUR CAR SERVICED HERE!!!!!! Im writing this review to warn others. First of all, their customer service is awful. They dont care about their customers and wont try to resolve mistakes they make. I have had several issues with the work that they did on my car. I ended up having to take my car elsewhere to fix the issues they created. They wouldnt even refund me my money. They lied to me several times and did not compensate me for keeping my car extra days and not resolving my issue. This place is awful. DO NOT GO HERE!

I get my oil changes done at this store and they have been amazing. They always make sure I am taken care of. There is a manager there who is so professional and very nice named Austin. He has helped me every time I have had a car issue recently. I would definitely recommend this Mavis and look for Austin for your car needs.Another visit.I had to take my car in today and the Manager Austin and the service manager Alex were able to tell me what was wrong just by my description of what my car was doing. They put a new rack and pinion on my car and it’s running and driving great now. While I was checking out I watched the manager Austin handle a difficult customer with a great deal of patience. The manager appears young and in this day and age it’s rare to find someone young who is professional and patient. Very nice young man in a terrible situation. I recommended a coworker go for her oil change today as well. I trust this store to tell me the truth about my car. And I trust them with my friends as well.

This location is terrible. I went at 10AM to get tire looked at/repaired due to leak. They were busy but said if I came back at 12:30, it would take 30 minutes for repair and rotation. I specifically asked if they were sure because I have to be at work at 2:00. I came back at 11:15 and waited until 12:35 to see what the status was. I was trying to be patient abs realistic so I waited an hour. I walked out of waiting room to see my car parked in same spot. No work had been done. Austin, who says he is the manager and oddly enough, the GM as well, said they may have over promised. Austin was there when the time/service was promised. Extremely unprofessional and just bad business. I wound even be on if they told me they couldn’t do it the second time I showed up instead of letting me sit there for over an hour. They say they cannot provide any contact info for upper management. I found it online myself, thanks!

Went in thinking I needed i e thing and they found it was something else and asked if they could do the work. Loved they took the time to find the issue I was explaining and not just do something that was not needed. Most would have just done what you went in for and not care for what issue you were in for. Great service, friendly staff, and good communication. Will definitely go back.

Alex and Michael took good care to ensure my questions were answered and the sale reflected my needs. The only glitch that existed was that the originally quoted price only included warranty on one tire, rather than all 4. Michael fixed the issue but still honored the original price.

I went the other day for a simple flat repair and the store manager was quick and ready to help me in whatever way he could. The tech that fixed it for me did it fast and it was very professional and I haven’t had a problem with it since.

Would definitely not recommend this place. They are unreliable. We called to make an appointment. Customer Service answered and quoted us a good price to get my rotors replaced. After getting there, they tell us that customer service’s job is to get you in the door and that the prices was going to be significantly higher. We were upset but agreed to pay, because it needed to get done. They called back to tell us they actually did overcharge us, and we had to go back for a small refund. After about a week, my husband noticed that my rotors were rusty. We were thinking they were never changed. He called and they agreed to look at them. We dropped the car off after making another appointment. They kept my car an entire day after telling us they would change them out. We went to pick it up and found out they did not touch my car, because the power went out, but no one called to inform us. I wanted to give them another chance and made another appointment 2 days later. They kept reassuring it would get done. We dropped the car off once again in. Right before closing we called to make sure it was repaired. They assured us once again that they were working on it at that moment and would stay over to fix it. We never got a call. We went to Mavis 30 minutes later and found my car in the front parking lot with the same rusted rotors, and Mavis had closed for the day. I used my spare key and took my car home. My husband called today and they could not give any explanation as to why this had happened but wanted to make it right. We are done at this point. They say the warranty doesn’t cover rust, and they can’t explain why they rusted so fast or why they kept agreeing to replace them. I’m so upset at the inconvenience this has caused us. I would’ve been ok with just 1 phone call. I will not be going back to this place.

Excellent service!I had a slow leak in my tire & thought the seal was bad. I took it to another service place & was told that I would need to buy a new tire since that tire was made in 2014. Rubbish! The tire was in good shape & showed no signs of dry rot.I took it to Mavis Tires on Hwy 20 & Tyler said no problem to fix it. The technician, Devin, said the rim had some corrosion & caused the slow leak. He was able to grind away the bad spots on the rim & reseat the tire quickly!I highly recommend this shop for any tire repairs!
