Visiting from out of state for work, found this wonderful place while looking for a cafe near my hotel. Parking is a bit tricky if you are not used to city parking.Inside was relax and neat, staff was very friendly! Ordered a honey lavender latte and the mini-med. The coffee was perfect! Hope to stop in again before I leave town.

A neat little cafe, perfect for a gathering, woking or visiting. Really good coffee, the breakfast wrap and sandwich very good and the counter help friendly and helpful. If I can find this place again, I will be back.

This is a funky and fun coffee and wine shop near the lake. their custom drinks are amazing and they also have specialty seasonal drinks and alcoholic coffee beverages! theyre serving up yummy food like an avocado jack wrap, crustless quiches, and power bowls made to order. their pastries, cookies, and rice krispie treats are delicious, the wine selection is endless, and the service is great!

Best coffee in Madison! Great atmosphere and also a pretty good menu as well. Also, if you need a little hair of the dog they offer Irish coffee and other caffeinated cocktails.

Always love Barriques. Best coffee houses in the city. Delicious breakfast sandwich. Picked out a couple bags of fresh roast and off we go. Fast courteous and always look forward to my next visit.

Coffee is always good here. However the service makes me not want to visit. I have had more than one staff member be rude. No warmth or friendly greetings. Comes off as snooty or unwelcoming. But one of the best Americanos in town! The Monroe location is a bit better.

Every barriques is unique. Fin and Matt have done a wonderful job creating a madisonian Haven for great coffee.

I enjoy this space but the staff is always so rude. As though they cannot be bothered. I would go enjoy the space more often except I dont want to purchase anything from rude employees. Its actually kind of sad.

Not always packed easy to find a seat great for meeting up with people or to study. However, it seems like every other time Im here theyre out of something whether it be an ingredient for food or a certain tea. As someone who isnt a weekly coffee shop customer, I dont know if this is bad luck or common.

Parking was a challenge in this busy area but well worth the wait for the delicious Mocha!

Admittedly I have high standards for coffee shops.Beans by the lb are very good when purchased closer to the roasting date. (note, white bean packaging usuallyhas a sell by but not the date of roasting). Best Ive had was some Costa Rican Terrazzo which has just an amazing bloom and excellent flavor made in a V60. Other purchases have been just good.Generally very good coffee drinks made by well trained and polite staff.Food is good. Only let down was aBreakfast sandwich (not to be confused with other sandwich items on the breakfast menu) such was inexpensive, but small and low quality. It delivered in that you get what you pay for.Other food items are better and I would generally recommend them.

This place is really cool inside. Lots of space and a chill atmosphere. However the food was HORRIBLE. Im not a picky person but JC they should feel embarrassed about that.

Quality coffee shop--rarely overcrowded, good for groups but also generally quiet enough for solo work. The food and drink options are considerable, with breakfast, lunch, and alcohol (basically wine and a few specialty cocktails) options available. The absence of cushioned seating--its all cafe tables and metal chairs--and the occasionally snotty barista are why I give it 4/5. Overall good coffee shop and almost certainly the best option in the area.

I really enjoy this chain - everything from their coffee to their awesome breakfast sandwiches! Staff here are very friendly and everything tastes great. The parking lot is a bit of a challenge and fills up fast. With no drive-thru it makes it harder for me to stop sometimes as a commuter as well.

I love going to Barriques. It has a nice relaxed atomsphere, great for studying. Lots of open windows. Only downside is the small parking lot.

Like all Baroque locations, the coffee is great, as is the atmospheres. It is not quite as costly as the big S, which is a plus. The restrooms are clean as well.

Staff is good, well located. Parking is big-city tight, not for large pick up trucks unless you find street parking. Wine available to drink. Interior is not cozy; more hard and un-renovated industrial.

Ive been going here regularly since I moved to Madison almost a year ago. The staff is super friendly, the atmosphere is relaxing and chill, and the coffee and food are great. I totally recommend the Barriques on Park St.

The brewed coffee is wonderful. Blackstrap is the best roast. The black and white cookies are amazing. Staff are friendly and atmosphere is cool.

Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, and good drinks and food. This Barriques location gets 4 stars from me only because they always seem to be out of certain foods, specifically meats for sandwiches, wraps, and salads, by the end of the work week day (5 - 6:30 pm).

Reminiscent of a 70s coffee house but much higher prices than I would expect with that decor. The cheap chairs, ugly tippy tables and poor acoustics detract from the good pastries and coffee.

Good place to pick up wine or get a snack. I wish it had a wider beer selection.

I absolutely love Barriques, and this location is easy to get to and easy to stay at all day - its that great. The staff members at this location are particularly good at customer service at a level that is above and beyond.

Barriques is my favorite place to drink coffee and buy wine.I like this location better than downtown and Middleton, but not as much as Fitchburg. (Fitchburg wins because of fireplace and couches).The wine:The wine selection is not as extensive here, but more than good enough and better organized than other stores. You can quickly and easily find an excellent wine in the style you want for a very good price.The coffee:Talented baristas are always on hand for any coffee concoction. The menu suggests excellent combinations. Service is fast, but not so fast to sacrifice quality (like a certain national coffee chain).The space:This Barriques offers excellent quiet space to work and drink coffee or for friends to easily chat. The front seats offer great natural light and the back a little more privacy. They also offer free WiFi.This location is conveniently located right by the bus stop for several routes. Grab some coffee and go walk along the lake!
