Great coffee shop located just outside of downtown Madison. Their coffee is great, the interior is spectacular, and they have a drive through for convenience. A new personal favorite in Madison.

Loved the coffee. The food selection is good. I love that you can see the roasting station. The only con is that it seems like the seating areas are small/cramped and not made for more than 2 people at a time. Also, some of the chairs are really uncomfortable. Would be a great place to bring a date though.

☕ I hemmed and hawed over all the delightful vegan options in the pastry case here at Cargo Coffee (lemon poppyseed muffins, peanut butter bar, cowgirl cookies), and in the end all I wanted was oatmeal. So delicious and didnt need the sugar because of the sweet cherries and almonds. I am reminded that Cargo, IMHO, has the BEST almond milk latte in town. Additionally, the manager (Candy) here is so accommodating, and when I asked if the Gotham bagels were vegan, she ran and got the ingredients list for me (some are, some not). Other options include a case of juices and other beverages, smoothies such as a green mango or red berry, blended drinks, sandwiches and soups that are sometimes vegan, Green Wrap with house-made hummus that can be made vegan, and a PBJ on local sourdough. Great service, great food and AWESOME coffee.

Always outstanding! You will never find a fresher cup of coffee because they grind the fair trade beans right there at the shop. Sandwiches are made to order and delicious ! Candy and crew are friendly and courteous! You really cannot go wrong .

I am a rookie and a dunce when it comes to ordering coffee, and the two people I see here on Saturday mornings are always very kind and helpful as I try to remember for the 20th time whether its a latte or a cappuccino I usually get, with no clue what the difference between them is and no excuse for not having learned it by this point. (Im sorry to anyone behind me in drive-thru; I promise that Im trying my best!)

What a hidden gem of a coffee shop! My wife and I were in town to pick up a new car from a nearby dealership and found this little shop to grab a morning breakfast sandwich and coffee! The service was excellent, the food above average and the coffee was divine--no sugar added. Highly recommended!

Great fast service, my mom June always gets the same thing and thing and they have remembered her name and her order. I got the miel and a bagel with cream cheese and it was all out to me in under 3 minutes. Great fast service and caring people.11.19.18 7:35 AM

The employees were courteous and jovial. Its cool that they can make a salad that wasnt currently on the menu, but I took a pic of it when it was on the menu, so simply showing the pic was enough.

Their lavender latte is delicious! I also got a pumpkin chocolate chip muffin, which was also very good. The employees are friendly, and the place is nice overall!

Literally the nicest people and the best iced coffee in town! The price is a deal and we often grab one to go with a little added cream and sugar as a treat to ourselves. Highly highly recommend as they also roast their own beans in house so its always nutty, delicious, and fresh 😋

This location is smaller in size with smaller tables so only one of us for to work on our laptop while other worked out of tablet. The coffee was amazing. We got thier breakfast bagel sandwich and breakfast burrito which were decent. Service was quick and friendly. I would revisit.

Been going here for years. A real neighborhood coffee shop. Diverse group of customers. Staff does a great job of balancing friendliness and efficiency. Also does a brisk drive through business in the morning. Dont let its Jiffy Lube exterior fool you. This is a warm and inviting place.

Love this location! I walked in and was greeted with a smile by Michael and Dylan. I found a table with an outlet right away. And the coconut curry chicken soup was absolutely amazing!! Michael even asked me how my soup was and Dylan was very accommodating. Best service in Madison!

Cargo Coffee is a real deal coffee and sandwich shop where the phrase, Less is more, really holds true. CC is a no nonsense coffee house with quick service, great sandwiches, and the freshest coffee. Theyll get you in and out and all the while, youll be satisfied.

Coffee shop with top notch quality beans, coffee, and food.Never had anything I didnt love here and Im a pretty picky customer.I like natural light and enjoy the windows.They have excellent coffee beans, expertly roasted on site, and well below market cost for the quality. The variety of beans is very good. All are quite fresh. Beans are sold by the full or half pound, which I like because I can come back once a week and always have fresh beans. The staff are very friendly and helpful in assisting me picking out the right ones.Very good coffee and espresso drinks. On my first trip I had the iced coffee, which is not cold brew, and I like it for that reason. Since had their regular drip, an Americano, and a fancy late. All very good.The food is also excellent. Ive had a few proper sandwiches and sandwich bagels.Lived near Park and Fish hatch for a few months, and this has become my regular. Hands down favorite.

Awesome coffee house! I stopped here for a Vanilla Iced Latte yesterday afternoon, it was my first time. I used their drive-thru which was very easy to access! The gentleman who made my coffee was very friendly and fast, he even asked if I had a milk preference. Thank you for the awesome Latte, it was delicious -- Just what I was looking for! I would highly recommend Cargo Coffee.

Went here for drive through. VERY good. I get my coffee block with sugar and sometimes I find coffee can still be too bitter. No complaints: it was made just right! Fantastic start to the day; croissant was flavorful and crispy as well

If you like Starbucks or other second-wave coffee places, this is a great local alternative with a really cute travel-themed decor and a cool opportunity to see the roasting outfit. Definitely show them some love and stop reading my review when you reach the end of this sentence.From a third-wave perspective, the staff working when I stopped in had no knowledge nor interest in their own coffee/product, which was a real let-down. Had a shot of their espresso (whatever blend was on that day, unfortunately I have no more information) and it was awful on all counts.

I tend to stop at the Park St. Cargo Coffee location on Sunday mornings--all of the baristas are so kind and their customer service is 5-stars. The coffee is delicious and in my opinion they have the best iced mochas in Madison! Breakfast options are quite tasty as well. Overall a great experience every time I stop. Highly recommend.

Cargo Coffee hss very good coffee to drink there and in bulk to take home. Also cant resist their deserts. Its a fun break from the day and is near enough to me for biking or even walking if Im ambitious.

Ive been buying coffee here for over 5 years, I dont recommend any coffee shop nearly as much as this one, the baristas know what I want and what I like. Theyre all extremely friendly and forgiving of my morning sluggishness. By far the best tasting coffee in Madison, my favorite is the Nicaragua roast. The pastries are fantastic and freshly baked in house.

Passed through this side of town and was pleasantly surprised how great coffee was. The cookie was hard to finish though.

Cargo coffee is awesome. The atmosphere is super chill, open but inviting. Their coffees tend to be rich and flavorful south and central americans that are probably the best youll get in that part of town.

BANNED. Approximately 6 weeks had lapsed since my last visit to Cargo coffee S. Park Street when I walked in one day and a junior employee recited my name to me for a confirmation. When I confirmed to him that it was me, he informed me that I was banned. I laughed and asked him if he was joking and at the same time noticed one of the owners standing silently by. The employee said yes and told me to vacate the premises immediately. When I asked him to give me a reason- he did not but yelled loudly would you like me to call the police?. Mind you all the while the owner just stood there watching like a director who was watching his actor perform the way he trained them. When I confronted the owner, he STILL did not give me a reason. I wrote out my number on a piece of paper and asked them when they got it right that they call me and explain themselves. To this day I have never gotten a call. If this is how you like your coffee served to you then keep coming back to Cargo Coffee on South Park Street.

Honestly this place is a five star when the employee named Avery is making my coffee. Ive had my coffee made by probably every other employee and it isnt the same. Avery remembers his customer and already knows what they want. Everytime hes made my coffee (cappucino with a few pumps of caramel and whatever his secret flavoring is) it has been great. I will keep on coming to this coffee shop due to this employees upkeep on my likings. Thank you!

Please do NOT support this establishment!! I thought this would be a great new work/leisure spot, however the baristas are thieves. I left my purse there the other day and called minutes later, chatting with a barista who located the purse and said it was untouched (as I was the only patron just before closing). She said she’d keep it behind the counter for me. Upon return I was met by another barista who said “we looked through your purse and everything’s there”. Ummmm... how would you know what I keep in my purse. Foolishly I didn’t examine the contents until I arrived home. Unfortunately when I did my wallet was gone. Checked credit card statements immediately and had fraudulent charges already. Shortly after the coffee shop closed. NOT coincidental sadly. Called the coffee shop the next day and spoke to a manager who said she’d talk to the owner. I received a return call stating they couldn’t give me the names of the thieves and hoped I found my wallet. It has been a true nightmare spending the time getting everything in order and coming to terms that certain items in there will never be retrieved. I’ve also lost a bit of faith in humanity. Please please please do NOT support these people!!!!
