Take a look at this muffin. These guys have the best blueberry muffins I have ever had in my whole life!Also, they actually know how to make a traditional flat white! Definitely one of the best local coffee places ever!

Everyday either my husband or myself will take my Mom for a drive and to get her a lovely cup of coffee (Breve Latte) as she calls it. We drive all over Madison County and Limestone County and try coffee at all places we find. When I take Mom, Grounded Coffee is my go to place. I get us both a Breve Latte. You know that smooth aroma smell you get from coffee. Well.... their Breve Latte has that smooth taste and is the exact taste you expect from the aroma. Love this place!

Good coffee! Had an small Americano which was $3 including tax. It was a medium roast espresso blend that had good flavor. Adding this place to my list of favorite coffee in North Alabama.

What a pleasant surprise!! The barista was so helpful with my questions about different types of coffee. He had such a happy, positive attitude! My latte came with the sweetest heart artistically done in my foam! And wow the taste of this latte is just delicious. Not your average coffee spot-above and beyond! They love what they do! Will definitely be back! 5 stars!

My husband and I moved to Alabama from Iowa a little over 1 year ago. We left behind our favorite local coffee house that weve missed very much... until now. We absolutely love Grounded. I had their Caramel Latte, it was exceptional. Milk perfectlly frothed, coffee not burnt, good cup size with a comfortable sipping handle. Not much in the way of parking and be careful of the one way street on the right hand side of the building. Easy to find off of County Line Rd. Comfortable seating and friendly staff.

Fantastic variety of coffees! The staff is very knowledgeable about, and are fans of coffee. They have even developed their own coffee tasting journal for aficionados! Snacks, teas, cokes and other treats are available, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting! Great spot for a business meeting or a relaxing morning with a book and a cup of Joe!

Weve been to this coffee shop twice. It is very clean and organized. The first time the girl who made our drinks did a good job. The second time we were in we didnt have as great of an experience. Our drinks were just subpar. I ordered a large iced chai and the glass was only 3/4 full and it was watered down. We love frequenting different small coffee shops but not sure we will go back here because of the inconsistency. When I pay $11 for 2 drinks I expect them to be great and get great service.

Flat whites are delicious! Ive only done drive-through but the coffee was out quickly and the staff is nice. Tried a blueberry muffin last visit and about had to pull over to fully enjoy it, it was so good.

Excellent coffee! They serve very high quality espresso drinks with just the right amount of sweetness (they dont taste like a liquid dessert), just the right strength of the coffee (tastes well roasted, well ground, and well pulled), and very well textured milk.

The best blueberry muffin I have had in a WHILE. My only reservation is that they were out of everything on the food menu at 1 PM. But I guess they dont want to bake extra because they make everything from scratch the morning of. Quality over quantity! Get there early!

I’ve been visiting Grounded since they opened. The owners are extremely kind and the staff is ALWAYS smiling and friendly. Their coffee is a million times better than Starbucks, or honestly any other coffee shop I’ve ever been to! They aren’t “coffee snobs” at Grounded (but are still very knowledgeable) and will humbly talk to you about what you like (no judgment) to find the perfect drink just for you. I’ve seen this kind engagement from the employees continue to develop into a solid, dedicated customer base over the years. The friendliness of the staff and the sunshine streaming through the big window walls in the front of the building, as well as the cozy nooks toward the back, make for the perfect coffee-sipping environment for any personality.

Last week was my first experience at Grounded. Even though I live very close, Ive never really thought to stop in.The atmosphere was nice. There were not too many people there at 8am. I ordered a hot drip coffee and a blueberry muffin. The muffin was so so good. I enjoyed my coffee while reading. It wasnt too noisy for me to read. I want bothered by anyone.Several customers came in and out and the staff seemed to know most of them. A few they even called by name.I will definitely be back next time I have time to sit and enjoy some good coffee and a muffin.

My husband and I just went to Grounded Coffee for the first time. It was a fantastic experience! We weren’t quite sure what wanted, but that was quickly remedied. We have visited this place and absolutely love it. SometimeS service is a bit slow but they are sooo friendly. I would like to know the name of the coffee shop that @Awakening Enthusiast says he/she will open in Madison. Because of their arrogant and egotistical review, I can assure you that I will never visit their establishment. And way to go Grounded Coffee for your classy and humble response to this reviewer.

What great find! I come to Huntsville twice a month and have always give to DD or Starbucks but Ive found a new place to come for my caffeine fix. Usually get black coffee or a double shot espresso but wanted to try a cappuccino and I was impressed with the quality of the coffee, temperature of the foam, and of course, the cute design! If you find yourself in the area, stop for a cup and a blueberry muffin. You wont be disappointed. Ben the Barista was great. I say and did some work as watched him treat every single customer as if they were family.

Ive been around since this place opened! The staff has always been kind and friendly. They take the time to make good quality drinks. I appreciate their explanations and their excitement about their craft. The bathrooms are always clean, and its a good place for meetings or quiet study. Wi-Fi is free for 2 hours.

Grounded Coffee seems a wonderful place to study and just chill. The coffee is good, but the latte art is definitely lacking. I️ know it is a small detail, but it definitely helps in order to have a well-rounded coffee shop. 😁 Great shop guys!

The staff is knowledgeable about their different roasts and drink styles.The ambiance is lovely. The dark browns and deep couches makes one feel as though they can sit and sip their coffee for hours. Grounded coffee hosts latte art competitions, coffee tastings, and singer songwriter nights.

Love the great customer service, and I love the more natural taste of the coffee. The White Chocolate Mocha and Chai Tea latte coffees are delicious.

Lovely little coffee shop! The cappuccino was good, woman working was extremely nice and there was comfortable seating. A good place to visit and get caught up with a friend.

The staff here are extremely friendly and the coffee is amazing. While the menu is pretty minimal, it is very high quality. The only downside is that it is a pretty small place, which means during high volume times it may take longer than usual to get your coffee. In any event, the wait is well worth it. You wont be disappointed.

Prices are a bit high and the selection is slightly limited, but still a good place to unwind.

I really, really wanted to like this coffee shop. I’ve been there over a dozen times and am finally going to go ahead and give a review.The atmosphere is adorable and they stock good coffee! I saw it as a place I could meet a friend, work, or take my child! Just what I was looking for! But time and time again, I’m disappointed.The last straw was yesterday. I went in with my child, ordered a pour over and 25 minutes later— still no coffee. I kid you not, this is the FOURTH TIME I’ve been there and they’ve taken this long or forgotten my coffee order altogether. I politely asked if it was ready yet and they barista responded with, “Yes it is, pour overs take awhile.” I make pour over, I know how long they take. After I said that he just said, “Yeah, sorry, we got caught up doing other things.” He seemed more irritated with me than sorry. This is not the first time I’ve been met with that. The coffee was then warm, not hot, and frankly, didn’t taste fresh. I should have just made myself coffee at home!I should have learned that I need to follow-up about my coffee. But given the other amazing options around town, I’ll make a different decision next time.

I hate to give this coffee shop just four stars, but I had their ice coffee last week and it really wasn’t the best. It tasted like an unsweetened ice tea that was very watery. It was a hot day so I wanted something cool to drink and since their regular drip coffee is pretty good, I decided to order an ice coffee. They didn’t have an ice coffee, so I had to order the cold brew, which is usually a little more expensive. To my surprise, when I received the drink, all the ice cubes had almost melted and the drink was just too watery. For almost $5 for a 16 oz, which we all know is 3/4 filled with ice anyways, I expected a good coffee drink with a strong taste. Sadly, their cold brew is a no-go for me. I ended up going to Dunkin’ Donuts and spent in total $7.00 just for an iced coffee. Not happy with that.

Seriously the best coffee shop in Madison, if not Huntsville. So much better than the big chain shops. Chris the owner and the rest of the staff go out of their way to make this a comfortable place for a coffee. Nice chairs to sit and enjoy your handcrafted beverage and a great atmosphere. They have a drive through also, where you give your order to a real person. This is not a quick serve coffee place. Its not slow, but they make sure they take the time to get your drink right.

I cant describe how much I love this coffee shop! I worked at a coffee shop in North Carolina during high school and college and am so excited that this is the one we got in our part of town!In an age where Starbucks has automated everything, they are a throwback to hand tamped espresso and employees who seek to know the name of every customer. Not only is it a cool environment, they clearly work hard to make a quality drink every time. Since I understand how much care it takes to pack the espresso so that it is just dense enough to give a good flavor without being overwhelming, and knowing exactly how much and how quickly to let air into the milk to create a smooth foam, I appreciate the effort they make.This leads to the only thing I could see as a negative. The service is a little slow. However, I think this may just be a result of their newness to the coffee business and their intent on making every cup worth your money. I would much rather have things slow and good than fast and just ok. With their care for every other aspect of business, Im sure things will speed up as they get more comfortable with the process. I am definitely in danger of picking up my regular coffee habit again with them in the neighborhood.

We wanted someone local to provide catering service at our ribbon cutting for our business and Chris at Grounded Coffee hit a home run. His estimated counts were spot on, his pricing was affordable, and the coffee and snacks were great! If you ever have the chance, make sure you stop by and get a blueberry and cranberry muffin....it was very yummy!

This place has tons of seating, wifi, and good drinks. They are always a little understaffed, so they take a while to take your order and make your drink, but thats ok if youre staying for a while. The staff is great and friendly, they just need an additional worker to make things run a little faster. The food (sausage balls especially) is very good. Will go again.
