They had what i needed but had to wait at the counter for a while to get any service.

The BJ in Janesville is excellent, however yesterday I had to go to the BJ in Madison and Tom, the counter rep was awful to work with. I wanted to just walk out, but I was in a time crunch so that wasn’t an option. Definitely will use a different supplier when in the Madison area.

I tried to recycle and purchase more fluorescent bulbs this morning, but was denied because the counter guy wasnt willing deal with my employers tax exempt status.

Called to inquire about buying 50 feet of 8/3 SOOW wire. The first person to answer the phone had to patch me through to Customer Service. Why wouldnt I have been calling Customer Service in the first place? Sigh.Anyway, I was told I could purchase my wire, but would have to set up an account. I asked why I needed and account if I was just an average Joe who needed a piece of wire, and not a professional electrician or company? Thats how we do things here, I was told. We just need your name, address, and phone number to create an account. I said I didnt mean to be rude, but that was data mining since I didnt need an account, and that I would prefer not to be in any more computers than necessary for security reasons.I was told I could go buy my wire somewhere else.

I cannot recommend these guys highly enough - I am not a pro, but Mark, the sales rep I spoke with was super-patient, helped me walk through a variety of product choices, showed me example pieces, and helped me get what I needed.
