A great little grandfathered spot with a nice selection of beverages-- what stands out the most is their ability to get just about anything hard to come by if you ask. Also being grandfathered and on the edge of Maple Bluff village territory they sell Beer until midnight (and have a great selection of it as mentioned before).The place isnt big by any stretch (and could use a little sprucing up but its an old shopping plaza theyre located in so that comes with the territory), but the inventory is apt and the staff are very knowledgeable regarding a good drink.

Ive been here several times, and this small store has a pretty good selection of beers, wines, and other alcoholic beverages. If you live on Madisons north side, or near it, you should definitely try this store

It was here that I proposed to my beautiful wife 13 years ago to the day. The staff helped me set up the whole surprise because they put the wedding ring in her favorite bottle of whiskey. She was getting the shakes so she chugged the bottle and to her surprise, the ring was then in her mouth. I got down on one knee right then and there. She was blackout drunk, but BOY am I PRETTY sure she mumbled, mmmyuhhh. What a day!

Good option if you find yourself after the 9pm cutoff of most liquor stores like Woodmans.

They are open until midnight. After 9PM its beer and malts beverages. Which are really good, as Im not into beer, too filling. Very helpful when it comes to wine.

Decent selection and has the advantage of being open later than other liquor stores, but they penalize shoppers at those later hours by adding a surcharge on your purchases, allegedly to pay for extra security. I dont like that at all. Told them Well, Im not here to rob you, so can I just pay the regular prices? They were not entertained. Not worth going out of your way for unless youre desparate.

Very friendly staff, they will make you laugh and smile. We stop here everytime we visit a family friend in the area because the staff is so great, plus good friends bring beer.

While their selection is modest and somewhat unimaginative, they are open till 11 and provide a vital service to madison east-siders in need of a late-night refresh. The evening cashier--who I always imagine to be Vic Pierce but probably isnt--is a really cool guy with a profound taste in prog and world music.

Open til midnight! An absolute treasure in the Madison area and the only reasonably close place you can get beer after 9 pm since its in the village of Maple Bluff and not in Madison proper.
