We have used this company for 3 moves in and out of apartments and houses and split moves to apt and storage and they are the best. Very honest, prompt, professional, friendly, and upfront. No hidden fees. From the initial phone call to the follow up call- totally perfect. The office will call you/send out a person even during the move to check to make sure all is well. They take amazing care of your furniture and goods and the house as you move. If they ding a wall by accident etc or something breaks they tell you straight away and they will pay for repair. It’s happened to us and they took care of it immediately. We love these movers. Do not look any further. They will work with you to maximize cost and time.

I was extremely happy with Two Men and a Trucks crew. They were prompt, fast, careful, and courteous. The office staff was friendly and helpful. These men know how to move. They were calming in how they addressed the moving situation and communicated with me. My husband recently passed away and I was a little wonky/forgetful in my communication. They were absolutely awesome on how they handled everything. They helped me relax. Terrible. I have gone through this service before, but as of now they are completely unreliable and apathetic. If you are moving within the Madison area, many better options are available. My Kitchen utensils and aloe plant were lost. They did not care. Not at all.

Very nice and accommodating for any furniture and any request or direction. We enlisted their help to move furniture across the city, and they quickly loaded up all of the furniture with plenty of care. We had the absolute best experience with Two Men & a Truck based in Madison, WI. From our very first interaction with Abigail during the quoting process to finishing up the final move with Brett and his team (we actually had Four Men & Two Trucks!). It was an unbelievably hot day for a big move. We loved the service. The 4 of them took real good care of our furniture and made sure everything moved safely. Apparently my job was too complicated because I never did get that response, instead it was I will call you tomorrow. A little courtesy goes a long way when your in business. This place lacks that. My promised call the next day never happened.

The most generous, kind employees!While helping my partner move into his new apartment, two employees from Two Men and A Truck were finishing up moving in another resident at the same building. The employees, Corey and Ryan, saw us majorly struggle-busing to move a heavy, bulky piece of furniture and immediately came over to help, for nothing in return. As if that wasn’t enough, they once again saw us struggling with a queen mattress, and came over with special straps and out of pure kindness, carried that up as well. All the while with smiles on their faces, chatting, and lending a hand any way they could. Next time I move, I know to skip the UHaul and go straight to this company. Corey and Ryan are the Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen of moving, and any company that has this genuine and selfless hardworking employees are worth it.

We hired Two Men and a Truck to move heavy items that we could not move ourselves to our new house. I was very impressed with the service. The office staff were helpful getting the original estimate and communicated in a timely matter before and during the move. The movers were very friendly and professional and very easy to talk to about where I needed things to go. It was obvious they cared about doing the job right and asked good questions to get everything where I wanted it. I was very happy with the process and would highly recommend them.

These guys have no respect for peoples property. Three times they have moved people into a secure building in Portage and left with the doors wide open. The last time they were asked to relock when they left and one said they would lockup. Liars. Very unprofessional.

We purchased a dining room set on Craigs list, and I didnt want to try the move from the sellers house to my house. I had used Two Men and a Truck for a local move before, so I called them. The team that moved me did a great job. They disassembled the large table, handled the furniture carefully, moved it to my house and put it back together for me. They were professional, polite, and easy to work with!

We had a somewhat complicated home sale and purchase of a new home, and needed help with a load/unload crew. The guys who came were absolutely super - friendly, gracious, careful with my furniture, and when it became apparent that one Truck wouldnt be sufficient, let me know soon enough so I could arrange to get a second truck. I was super stressed trying to plot my move from WI to VA and Two Men and a Truck took most of the worry away! The movers were on time and polite. They moved all my stuff in record time and were right on time delivering it three days later! Super friendly. After my horrible experience with Badger brothers Moving, I was reminded that I should leave a review for the ONLY company I know, use and Trust for the Madison area.I manage a small rental property now, Ive lived and moved to three different places in the Madison area and every time Ive seen two men and a truck on the job, it has been a class act all the way.

Never hired a moving company before but definitely will in the future. I move pretty regularly for work and was absolutely dreading doing it again.I had a relatively easy move, (1 bedroom apartment) but the guys got there 15 minutes early and completed the entire move almost 2 hours ahead of schedule. They definitely weren’t running out the clock; they showed an incredible amount of hustle, on an 80+ degree summer day. All of my stuff made it to the second location in the condition I packed it in. Can’t say enough about the professionalism they and the office staff exhibited, making the whole moving process a breeze.

Not a single thing broke in the process, and I think they genuinely cared about the importance of my belongings—thats not always the case. They were personable and friendly, and respected the fact that I had a number of tasks I needed done before the great move across state lines.To their credit, they never once made a stink about the fact that I got stuck in traffic along the way to Chicago. They never once brought it up. When I got to my new home, they were there and ready. They did the job far quicker than expected, and were honest about finishing early and reducing the total cost of the move, a big savings I honestly just funneled right back into their tips.Ive never used movers before but now that Im in grad school and, ya know, theres an incurable global pandemic in the air, I felt so nervous and stressed about the process. Left a message for Peter to call since he called me during the move, he never called back.Ive used Two Men before and did not have a problem.I scheduled Two Men for an internal move of a number of items and talking to their person we agreed that the time could take between 2 to 4 hours, that is on your estimate. Their estimate also shows an eta of 2 to 4 pm. Since scheduling is a big part of your job, logic would dictate that if you got here as late as 4 pm, you would stay until worst case scenario 8.Your people arrived at 3:10 and left at 5:15 (took a break at 4:15 approx. and sat in the truck). They left saying we could reschedule, leaving the job unfinished.Now I pose the questions, how could I possibly satisfied? How could I pay your going rate when you left me with a job to get finished? How could I possibly leave anything but a negative review?

Everything about this company is first rate, from the first phone call, to accurate estimations, patience with pre-move questions and changes, communication, on-time arrival, careful and professional handling of my possessions, and pleasant attitudes throughout, even with all the stairs they had to navigate. And, because the time spent came in a bit lower than their estimate, I was not charged for those hours. I couldnt be happier.

I’ve used Two Men & a Truck for 5 moves - most recently within the last week. The one time I tried to use a different service, it was a disaster. But every move with this company goes smoothly. The movers are always on time, quick and professional and I’ve never had any of my belongings damaged. I’ve always moved as a single woman/alone and the movers, who have always been men, have never made me feel uncomfortable. The customer service staff when I called to schedule the move were helpful and friendly as well, and I felt like their estimate was pretty accurate and pricing was transparent.

I had to organize moving my mother from her apartment to an assisted living facility, in the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic. Getting her things packed up and getting everything there safely was a top priority. Two Men and a Truck were able to schedule with me on a last minute move and were beyond helpful. They called 15 minutes prior to my appointment time to let me know they were a bit early and asked if it would be okay to start right away. They were quick, efficient and packed everything away safely. In addition they showed clear knowledge about the health requirements of moving into an assisted living facility and were helpful in assisting me to set up the furniture in a way that would be most useful to my mom.Will only look to them for moving in the future. Dominic, Natalie and Andrew were very helpful, professional, fast and knowledgeable. Weve moved our massive 90in+ couch three times and have always had to hall it up the stairs, but we showed the crew the standard sized elevator and they confidently said itd fit. IT DID! Were still shocked and so relieved to have it moved. There were also several courtesy calls from the admin team before, during and after. Great team! Were never moving without them again.

Two Men and a Truck was recommended by some friends for our out of state move, and I recognized the name from TV adds Id seen a long time ago. I got an initial quote from Two Men and a Truck and declined services. A week or so later I called them back and asked what I could do to help improve the price. After discussion I was told that if I moved all of the larger items it would greatly reduce the cost of the move. I made 5 trips on my own moving the large items out of state. I did an inventory of the home, and provided it to the company. I then conducted a virtual tour and walked around on my phone hitting each room, the garage, and my shop. I had a tape measure and measured larger household goods during the walk through. I was asked if I would be packing the goods or if I was going to use their packing service. I agreed to pay for the packing service due to the timeline involved. I then passed coordination of said move off to my wife. My wife made if very clear that we needed to be packed and out of the house on 05NOV at or before 9am due to closing requirements. The moving team arrived at around 9am on 04NOV and started to pack. They were not progressing as quickly as needed, and my wife reiterated the need to be out by 9am the following morning. My wife helped them pack the house out. The next morning my wife needed to be on the road before 9am to meet me for closing at our new residence. The crew was still not complete. My wife enlisted the help of a friend who came out with a separate truck and trailer. He helped them pack the truck for the last 1.5 hours, and then he loaded his own trailer and moved it. The moving company left several items outside the shop and garage, and was not out by the agreed upon time. They said we had more to pack than they anticipated, and thats why it was taking longer. Backup to the walk through. The associate on the virtual walk through saw everything we had, and this is where the problem shouldve been caught. I got a call from my wife about the realtors and new owners being very upset. I called the realtor and smoothed it over. I then called and enlisted the help of another buddy to go and pick up the other items left behind. Then I called and spoke to an operations manager with Two Men and a Truck and he started in on the excuses. Bottom line - I was transparent on the content of household goods that needed to be moved. I was assured the 28 foot straight truck would suffice. They did not deliver on their end of the deal. I was lead to believe following the virtual walk through that a separate team of two people were going to be packing boxes for my wife while two other people were loading the truck. I paid a separate fee for packing and boxes. I paid for a service that my wife and friends had to come to the rescue on due to poor planning and service. Two friends, two trucks, two trailers and my wife had to bridge the gap in service caused by Two Men and a Truck. I will not recommend their services.

I was referred to the Madison WI office for TMT by a local storage facility I am using. I needed temporary storage for an in-between move so hired a PODS type solution for the storage but needed help loading the units. The two men showed up on time (actually a bit early but called first to see if that would be OK), in uniform, introduced themselves and worked around my pet issues. They were courteous, friendly, professional and efficient all at the same time. The move took a bit longer than I expected but all was fine. They actually did more than I originally wanted them to do (I was planning to take thevlight boxes myself but they started taking them (heavier ones) so I just let them go on and take them all. They also had to disassemble a piece of furniture so that also added to the time. Overall I was very pleased with the experience.

Our movers were OUTSTANDING! They were courteous, careful, efficient, thoughtful and friendly. Even the staff at the storage unit commented on how good they were. And the storage locker was filled beautifully. They really took care positioning the furniture. Bravo!! These men deserve a raise!!

Very respectful and cover your floors before they start moving anything. They make sure every piece of furniture is exactly where we want it before they leave. And man, are they are hard workers! The ultimate moving experience. I have moved several times and I was amazed how the 2 young men handled all of my furniture and belongings. They wrapped all of my furniture which was never done with any other moves I had made. The were courteous and efficient. Not one scratch on the wall or my furniture. The pricing was extremely affordable for me and I have to say kudos to the office staff that made my decision to use this company.. Talk about customer service . It still exists with this company.

We just had our 4th move with Two Men and a Truck and, just like our previous moves, this experience has been outstanding! This move had an extra step due to us needing to store our belongings for a month before delivering it to our new place. The staff worked with me to plan out the schedule and packing, storing and delivering everything worked like a dream! I used them before and they were ok. They damaged my property the first time so I should have known better. I used them again because they took all the beds down and put them back up. This go around when I place my order the young lady insisted I have 3 workers even though I insisted on 2. I asked specifically if they put the beds up and she said yes. When the drivers got there I was informed that they do not do that. Then once they gave me my bill it was close to 1000 dollars for a 2 bedroom apt in which me and my kids moved most of the stuff ourselves. I was then told it was extra to have the 3rd guy which makes sense as to why she would insist on it being 3 guys. I WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN AND DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM.

Just helped an elderly friend move. He was quoted a ridiculous amount from another mover and I said -- Lets call Two Men and a Truck. Wow! They saved us $420. The office staff were great getting us set up quickly and let us know we would receive a special slow day discount. Was told they would be there between 12pm - 2pm and they were there a little after 12pm. Both Brett and Don did a wonderful job with the move. I highly recommend them.

The office personnel were very professional, helpful when getting my quote and dates for my move set up. They called prior to my move to confirm everything. The day of my move I was called, letting me know that the movers were ahead of schedule. They showed up promptly. Jesse and Zach introduced themselves when they arrived. They were very friendly, professional. They worked quickly but carefully unloading the moving truck and placing my belongings inside my residence. Jesse and Zach worked well together as a team. Overall I am pleased with my experience with Two Men and a Truck.

Our move was in September of 19 and we can not recommend This company enough. Randy, Shamus, Keyshawn and Hau did an amazingly quick and careful job and were overall really wonderful people. I highly recommend this crew in particular.

I cant say enough good things about my experience with Two Men and a Truck! (Though my move would best be described as Eight Men and Four Trucks, since I had so much stuff and and logistics necessitated I put everything into storage for a week.) Everyone I worked with from the office staff to the movers was super friendly and knowledgeable. Everything went so smoothly, and I didnt have to worry about anything. And my movers worked so quickly and efficiently that both ends of my move were completed in only a half day. If I ever have to move again, I will absolutely call them again.

I hired this company to help me move things from a truck into a home. I asked for and was promised three movers. The window was to be between 2:00 and 4:00. When I asked if the movers would stay until the job was done, I got an emphatic yes. Two men arrived at 3:30. The company had not assigned a third person. These two men had apparently been working since early morning on heavy jobs. Because of their companys policy, they could not work past 7:00; in fact they had to be back at the office at 7:00, which meant they did not stay past 6:30. In any case, by that time it was so dark it was hard to see anything. They could not finish the move. I was left with about a quarter of the truck unpacked and a bill of +$700.00. I want to make clear that this was IN NO WAY the fault of the two workers, but rather of obviously incredibly poor planning by the company. The men who helped me were lovely people. I am now stuck with spending more money to finish the job. I would not recommend this company.

2 Men & A Truck were great with my move! I kept having to reschedule, because I was moving into new construction, and they were super accommodating about it. The company also delivered packing materials to me before my move, and what’s great is that anything you don’t use will be bought back by them at cost. The two movers that were assigned to us were Chris and Ethan. They were fantastic. Very fast, professional, and friendly. When we drove to my new place, the site was in pretty poor shape for movers, since it’s still under construction. Chris and Ethan had to maneuver through gravel and planks of wood over mud and an elevator that was also being used by the builders. I felt pretty bad about it, but they were really solution-focused and reassured me that they just have to deal with that type of thing sometimes and that they’d figure it out. They were fine with us just sitting around while they moved us out of my current place, and then at the new place when they were slowed up by the construction they didn’t expect help either (but of course were grateful when we helped unpack the trips from the truck). If I ever move again I will 100% be using 2 Men & A Truck.

Alec and Ben were extremely professional and efficient. They took great care with out belongings. Alec and Ben went above and beyond our expectations to make sure everything was packed and unpacked properly. My entire family is grateful for the kindness they showed to all of us during this entire experience. Thank you!!!!

The property manager of my apartment complex allowed my husband and I to move into a bigger apartment, informing us we had to vacate the current apartment asap so they could fill our apartment before Christmas. Emailed the company to ask for a quote, realizing it was last minute, but wanting to see if perhaps they could help.Days went by and I never got a response. Not a quote or even an Im sorry but we are booked solid, response or something similar, which I would have been satisfied with receiving. Just silence.

Super informative before the move. The guys were very fast, careful and friendly! I would recommend Two Men and a Truck to anyone! They cost just a little more, but they are worth every penny. They wrapped all furniture in pads and there was 0 damage.

We had the best movers last week. They helped us move our furniture to a new apartment and were very nice. Did it in the time we arranged, came earlier than originally planned due to a previous job finishing early. GREAT! Saved our backs. I would Highly recommend Two Men and a Truck. This is the second year we moved them. Last year was wonderful too.
