Absolutely magical from the moment we walked in the door! The owner grabbed us immediately and created the perfect atmosphere. We were given a romantic little seat just before close. Instead of being standoffish as so many places are within an hour of close, he came along and made it fun and inviting! So much fun, he simply “made us offers we couldn’t refuse” in such a fun way that we just went for the ride. He just kept bringing us food in a whirlwind of excitement! Great suggestions for wine and antipasto. I can’t say enough about this place! We will be back and we can’t wait to have a birthday party! While here there was a 16 top that did just that. He (the owner)played the birthday song (not happy birthday) and popped champagne and created the most fun looking adult birthday over ever seen. Wow!

We’ve been to Naples 15 many times now, and every single time the staff makes our experience so special! It’s not only that our food and the service are incredible, but they truly go above and beyond on every occasion. Tonight was no different. My wife and I came in for our anniversary and Roman showed us and incredible time at the bar, and David even took a moment from his busy night to serenade us on the piano. We always leave smiling and beyond happy with our experience! I’ve never taken the time to review a restaurant before, but Naples 15 deserves it! Well done, all! Will continue to recommend to anyone looking for a great place to dine for any occasion!

Fabulous restaurant! Great ambience and service but it’s the food that really sets this restaurant apart. Calamari was outstanding. So was gnocchi, which had the perfect texture and taste. Best pizza that I have ever tasted. Fresh ingredients, amazing crust. Owner/chef is super friendly and takes pride in the treasure of a restaurant that he runs.

This place is absolutely fantastic! It has the best pasta and sauce Ive ever had. The fried pizza goes as a great appetizer. Expect a long wait, but with the right company, goes fast. The food is absolutely worth the wait. Expect about a 2.5 hour experience. But, totally worth it. I will be returning for more pasta.

Today was a special occasion for our family but with a newborn baby we couldnt dine out so we decided to get a takeout. Our scheduled pickup time was 6pm and got there around 6:15pm. None of the food were ready and had to wait more than 40 mins to get our food. Once we got home, we realized two appetizers were missing. When we spoke to the personnel, we were told they prioritize in-store customers over takeout and that the delay can happen. If the kitchen cant handle the demand of both in-store and pickup, then pickup order should have not been taken. We werent explained why the delay was happening until we escalated. I really had high expectations for this restaurant but with one of the worst services we had by far, Im really disappointed.

The food did not taste or look like true Italian cuisine. I have been to Italy and this was truly disappointing.Service was slow and subpar, probably due to the short handed waitstaff. After we sat down, they pushed some tables together for a larger party and there was so little room between tables that our server couldn’t make it to our table. They had to pass us our food and drinks from afar.The pizza was simultaneously burnt and soggy; so soggy, in fact, that when we picked up a piece all of the toppings would fall off.What was also disappointing was the decor and lack of cleanliness. It had a slightly hoarder vibe. There were cardboard cutouts of Marilyn Monroe and others. The menus were literally falling apart and the wine list was crinkled and had a footprint on it. There were cobwebs by the host station and the vents need a thorough cleaning.I will not be returning. I would choose Olive Garden over Naples 15 any day; better prices, better atmosphere, better food.At least I learned who Tony Bennet is.

Naples 15 is amazing. I have lived in Europe four times and nothing compares!! I feel like I am in Italy when I dine here…spectacular! And the wine?? Incomparable.

I would leave 6 stars if I could! Salvatore is an artist! The atmosphere in the restaurant is perfect for a special occasion and for a casual dinner out. The food is the best Ive ever had. We were treated to unmatched service and an amazing seven course meal. To top it off the chef himself checked on us throughout the meal and personally served birthday cake to our birthday girl. Naples 15 is a very nice upscale Italian restaurant. I had Linguini Puttanesca with olives capers tomatoes and garlic. It was excellent. We also had Baba for dessert which was very good.

Sorry but this place didnt do it for us! Service was poor, waitress would disappear. Pasta so undercooked you needed a knife to cut. The monk fish was so overcooked it curled and was tough!!. The sea bass got dropped on plate in front of us w/head, tail, skin & bones. No vegetables at all. Drinks were small, water warm w/no refresh. Bill was $160 for 2 people. Needless to say, we left feeling hungry. And wont be back.

This place was an EXPERIENCE! everything from the atmosphere, to the food, to the effort in the details by the staff! Salvatore (the owner) came by our table and not only served us, but showed us how to cut the Mediterranean Bass, and made sure we were enjoying our time there! Simply the best Italian Restaurant in America!!! We had the most incredible experience at Naples 15 this evening!!! We had a mix of adults and kids and everyone found something they absolutely loved (not an easy task with kids at times). The owner and Head Chef Sal came out to our table to make sure everyone loved their food and truly made our experience magical! The margherita pizza and lobster ravioli stole the show but even the bread he brought us while we waited was just incredible. I cannot say enough good things about Sal, Naples 15 and their staff. It truly is the best Italian restaurant in America!

Super authentic Italian cuisine! They were a little short staffed but the kitchen and servers worked well to keep us accommodated and problem solve. We walked in without a reservation and trust that the wait was worth it! The food was absolutely phenomenal! We will most definitely be coming back very soon!!

I have tried so many times to give Naples 15 the benefit of the doubt, but the poor service just outweighs the food. Im giving them 2 stars because their food really is delicious, but I have never had a good service experience there. Dining in is unorganized and it takes forever to get food/drinks whether they are busy or not. We tried take out to avoid dining in, only to get to the restaurant to find out they never turned on their Eat Street app and didnt get our order (even though we paid, got several confirmations, a pick-up time, etc.). If you feel like you can deal with terrible service in the name of good food, this is your place. I just cant anymore.

Dined at Naples 15 tonight in Madison, WI with my Aunt Audrey who is an old friend of owner Salvatore. Great food ( I recommend the Ziti with meatballs), great service, and great atmosphere! Had the pleasure of meeting Salvatore in person when he visited our table. Great guy with great staff and a great restaurant! 5 Stars for sure! Very slow service and terrible food. My cannoli to go as seen in picture was literally thrown in to a take home container and to pay $10.95 for a very mediocre cannoli at an authentic Italian restaurant was horrible.

Very disappointed. Went here for an anniversary dinner after hearing good things about Naples 15. Food was bland, waitstaff was confused and our main water was obnoxious and acted like a know it all when he actually was clueless. Needless to say we will not be back.

Waited an hour and a half for the pizza after ordering online for pick up. The staff were nice and helpful but it seems that management did not set up the online ordering platform well and did not make sure that online orders were actually sent to the kitchen. After the pandemic you’d think they’d have set up a better system for online ordering. They also forgot to add olives in pizza as specified in my order. Disappointing because I was really looking forward to their pizza. Anyway, fine pizza but I will order from their competitors on the west side next time.

Appalling experience yesterday night. Complete chaos among the waiters! Ordered two glasses of wine and a cheese/prosciutto appetizer; waited 20 minutes after one waiter told us he would cool the bottle down in the freezer- the bottle stayed on the counter for 20 minutes; asked another waiter to serve the wine, she came with the bottle and uncorked it with great difficulty in front of us, asking some help from a third waiter; she finally poured some wine in our glasses and on the table. We asked about our appetizer and found out that it had sat on the counter for a while; it looked like warm vomit as the cheese was over cooked … We finally escaped that place and went back to the wonderful Cento restaurant.

The atmosphere was pleasant. Wait staff was friendly and attentive. The food my husband and I ordered, overall, was decent.

Didn’t realize Madison had such a fantastic Italian place. They were very busy but when I said we had very hungry kids, the server (who was playing double duty as a pizza chef that night) made us a quick pizza while we ordered the rest of the meal. We ate over a two hour period. We ordered two desserts but the four of us could have split one.

Service was extremely slow. The pizzas were good but other pasta dishes were not up to the mark for the price you pay. Meatballs were slightly burned and salmon skin was too charred. Way too overpriced for that poor of quality.They served us a tiramisu that looked half eaten and tasted spoiled. The waiter said he heard that another person said it didnt taste good. They why serve that to us?

I visited Napoli and Ischia and everybody I met knew the owner of and recommended I try Naples 15 back home, in Wisconsin. I couldnt believe it! Jamie and I finally had the chance to come down tonight and it is incredible. I was able to meet Salvatore, the owner, and share one of the best nights of my life. The place was packed and it felt like we were back in Napoli. Every other table knew Sal because he treats everyone like family. I highly recommend Naples to anyone who comes to Madison. Best Italian Neapolitan food ever, I can see why so many celebrities have eaten here. I cant wait to tell all my friends I made in Italy that I took their recommendation and I am forever grateful.

Very friendly staff, checks on you and refills in a timely manner, perfect romantic lighting, good food.

The food was good, when it finally came. The place seemed fully staffed but poorly managed. We were seated 20 minutes after our reservation, which is forgivable for a busy Saturday night, but it all went downhill from there. We waited an hour after ordering our appetizer for it to arrive and another hour after ordering our entrees for that food to arrive. No one checked on us in-between. We watched the frazzled staff seat more and more people. Some neighbor tables seemed to be just as neglected as us, while other groups came, ate and left in same timeframe. I was very disappointed with the treatment. It soured what could have been a great experience. I would not recommend.

Mind you this is all on a Tuesday night.I started my dinner for 1 waiting at the front podium for 10 minutes until finally I walked in and asked a server if there was a host or if I could seat myself. The Server Referred me to the bar with a menu and water right away. I waited for the bartender for an additional 10 minutes. I placed a drink and food order right away. Waited about 25 minutes for one pizza which was absolutely amazing! After I finished my pizza I asked for a cannoli to go. After waiting 15 minutes for a cannoli. I paid and left. When I was finally about to enjoy said cannoli it ended up only being half filled. A piece of strawberry on either end with just a dollop of cream inside. What little filling was there was very tasty. I’m super disappointed I paid almost $11 for one cannoli that was not even half filled. Would definitely recommend pizza from here but never to eat inside! Please work on your customer service and cannoli filling skills.

Fabulous birthday dinner for 6. Each taste was better than the last. Had never been here before, but it will be a special spot from now on.

Always nice to find a place run by a true Italian that brings over authentic recipes. First tried a pasta, a ziti (Reginella) dish that was surprisingly a little flat given the extensive description. The pasta was slightly overcooked about 60 seconds past al dente, the sauce more flat than I expected. Even just a pinch more of salt would have helped. Atop was a sprig of basil garnish, which I chopped up and mixed around in the sauce which took it up a notch. As my date said - you make a better pasta. In fairness, I have been to Italy many times, and have cooked pasta for 40 years, but it really is simple stuff to do right. Just felt like there was a disconnect from what was written in the menu and what I was tasting.Next came a house salad, was ok, nothing special. A touch more of a good balsamic would have been a nice addition.A wood fired pizza came next, which I was anxious to try as I make Neopolitan pizzas too (00 flour from Naples, San Marzano tomatoes etc) - I was quite pleased. Good leopard spotting of the crust, nice sauce, flavor, etc. Was the real deal.Staffing - pretty slow (though our waiter very friendly, upbeat), and inattentive (eg no water refill over 1.5 hours until we were paid and ready to leave). Couple patron voices raised in anger at nearby tables due to long waits for initial drink orders, dishes etc. Maybe Salvatore is experiencing the same waitstaff issues everyone else is.Overall, nice place, and would go again, maybe try a couple other dishes.

Came to the restaurant with a couple coworkers and high expectations. Left disappointed. The atmosphere seemed OK at first, but the experience grew worse throughout the evening. Service was very slow, but the restaurant was understaffed with servers. Only 2, with a large party arriving shortly after my party got to the place. Appetizers were sparse - and not very good. Entrees left a lot to be desired. The Seafood Risotto I had was extremely salty, mostly had clams and mussels, with a couple of shrimp and a single scallop. We didnt stay for dessert.

The service is absolutely horrendous. I ordered my food over the phone and was told to come in after 45 minutes. Came in 45 minutes later was told to talk to the bartender. He told be to wait 5 minutes and my food would be out. I asked 7 waiters about how far along my food was and no of them came back and updated me. After a terrible hour and a half wait I finally got my food. The communication in this business is terrible and no one keeps the customer in the loop. I was waiting with 3 other people waiting for online orders. No one offered any discount of gift certificate not saying we will come back. Service is terrible. Dont ruin your night at naples.

Went here for my fathers birthday! Had some of the best authentic Italian in Madison WI. Cannot reccomend this place enough. If you can handle the spice, I reccomend the spicy meat pizza.

While fish was delicious, there was only one kind available. Likewise, all the pasta was long noodles, even though both in our party purposely ordered dishes with tube pasta because we didnt want to wrestle with spaghetti or linguini. Service was also slow. House cab was a good one. Salad special very good. I might try again, but the prices make me reluctant to take the risk.....

Bring a fat wallet to this excellent Italian restaurant. Chef Salvatore spent a lot of time guiding us through the wine list and menu. I loved my rigatoni all Salvatore, which our server told us it came from the chef’s grandmother. Grandpa must have weighed 300 pounds. The meat and chicken pasta dishes are “spendy” starting at $30, but my spouse will get two lunches from her leftovers. Call ahead and get the code for underground parking because finding a spot near here can be dicey.
