Turned away.The Spirit Shoppe is my favorite place to buy booze in Madisonville. Today, I was hunting down a vintage Id tried elsewhere and really enjoyed. I couldnt find it in stock, but the sales clerk helpfully told me they carried it at the second location.I drove to the store and found it locked, with only the drivethrough window open. The sales clerk inside this location was nowhere in sight. When he finally responded to me, and I asked him about the beverage in question, he didnt seem to know what it was. He then told me that the store didnt carry that entire type of liquor based on a photo of one particular brand.I would have been happy to look for it myself, but like I said, this location (unlike the other) was locked. Yet the sales clerk in question wouldnt even lift a finger to even look for it. He simply turned me away. As much as I like the Spirit Shoppe, it makes it hard for me to want to give them my business when employees wont help locating items while simultaneously locking up their stores to keep us from finding them ourselves.If youre looking for a liquor store around Madisonville, save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else. Its not worth the hassle.

Madisonville Kentuckys best liquor store. Close to the house close to the ice machine they have good prices on their products. If you need anything why go anywhere else

Nice clean store, decent prices I guess, I mean what do we really have to compare them to lol the other liquor stores, with the same prices? Lol, so yea, decent I guess. The clerks are friendly, and usually pretty helpful if ya need it.

On Nov. 9th, i visited the ss2 like any other friday night and customer service was amazing! I love the people, the quick help and treats for dogs and kids! Def recommend everyone stop in and support local!
