Dr White and his staff are the very best! I went in with my daughter for her first pair of contacts and it was a great experience. Dr. White was patient with showing her how to put them in and she was excited to not have to wear glasses any longer. The front office staff worked with my insurance to make sure I was getting my maximum benefits and quickly let me know when my orders arrived. There is a wide selection of eyewear including prescription glasses to try on and get a new look. Magna Family Eyecare is very clean and easy to find in a multi-use office building too so that was a bonus!

This place is the best!! They are so friendly and helped me with everything I needed. I was also really indecisive about what glasses I wanted to get and they were patient and super helpful with my decision and I absolutely love the ones I got! They also checked out my 4 yr old daughter’s eyes and they were SO great with her!!

I went in as they specialized in an eye condition i have. Before going in I verified over the phone and then in person that my insurance would cover 100% of everything contacts, exam, fitting etc... other than my $50 copay. After the fitting it was weeks before I finally called them back to inquire on my contacts, They still had not ordered them. A few weeks went by and they still had not contacted me, So i called again and they said my prescription was going to be in soon.I waited a week and after calling drove in and they had my speciality contact but not my reg contatcs for the other eye, they tried telling me i had to pay them more for the special contact fitting, and the soft contact was an additional extra charge. I asked for the head optometrist to contact me, at this time he said he would waive the additional charges. In addition i have asked for my soft contact prescription to be mailed to me 3 times as they cannot give me that over the phone due to HIPAA, they will take me CC over the phone though.I have spent hours and hours trying to deal with them only to have them overcharge, underdeliver, and try to get scam me out of money, now after multiple promises by the optometrist to waive additional charges they have sent me to collections.

Dr. White is an amazing eye doctor. He makes you feel comfortable, and is very professional. I have been his patient for several years and wouldn’t go to another eye doctor besides him. His staff is very professional and his office is very clean and presentable. I highly recommend him if you need an eye doctor.

Dr White is a fantastic Eye Dr! I have been to many Optometrists and Ophthalmologists over the years, and none of them have taken the time to research my questions and concerns like he has. He cares about his patients and has your best interest in mind. Dr White is the best!

WOW!!!Dr Larsen and his staff are amazing! The personal phone call from Dr Larsen when I reached out to become a new patient was unexpected and a service I have never experienced. My in person experience with him and his staff could not have been better. From the moment I walked in, they made me feel like I had been a patient of theirs for years. I have an eye condition, keratoconus, and have always struggled to find a Dr that has the knowledge and ability to help me. Since Dr Larsen took over my eye care, I have not seen this well in 30 years. I cannot thank him and his staff enough for what they have done for me. Thank you all very much!

He is very personable and extremely knowledgeable, and gives you a 100% of his attention. He has the latest equipment, using devices unheard of even just a few years ago. His staff is very caring and do everything they can to take care of your needs. They also have an amazing, diverse selection of frames and contact lenses. Come here and you wont be disappointed!

I have had severe dry eyes for several years caused by Sjögren’s Syndrome and Lupus. Have had eye specialists do all kinds of very expensive treatments for the condition. One finally mentioned a contact lens could help. My husband did research and discovered scleral lenses and Dr. Larsen. I called and made an appointment and have had the lenses now for almost 4 weeks. They are wonderful. I can see so much better, the light sensitivity is much less and my eyes are so much more comfortable. Dr. Larsen is very caring and easy to work with. If you are suffering from dry eyes you owe it to yourself to check out these lenses.

I have worn GP contacts for over 25 years. During that time, due to moving, I have seen quite a few Eye doctors. Dr Larson is the best I have ever worked with!!! He has demonstrated immense patience, he is extremely knowledgeable, and I am blessed to have him on my side for such an important part of my life, my eyes!!!! I have been a coming to Magna Family Eyecare for years for contacts. Even traveling from Brigham City, because of the staff and Dr. Larson. He takes the time to make sure all is right. By answering questions and explaining the options available. Very satisfied with everything and I will continue making the trip to Magna from Brigham in the future!!

After an hour long drive out to Magna, we had the WORST experience EVER at Magna Family Eyecare. This place should NOT see pediatric patients at all!!! The provider not only snapped at my curious four year that wanted to watch his baby brother’s eye exam but also kept snapping at my two year old for not looking where he wanted him to look. It was so bad that I had my two sons with vision issues scheduled for appointments but we got up and walked out not even half way through the first appointment. I cannot speak to their services for adults but if you are looking for help for your child(ren) with low vision, don’t waste or time or traumatize your kiddos by taking them there. On top of all of that, the hens at the front desk act like it’s really putting them out to get you checked in.

Was referred to Dr Larson and traveled from downtown for an eye exam! This place is fantastic! I feel like the price was very competitive and the staff and doctor were top notch! Go there, you wont be disappointed!

Went in with dry eye problems. Glasses retailer places usually throw an eyedrop at it. Not really their fault, they just dont have the equipment to find out why.Dr. Larsen has the equipment to find out why. He was honest and open with me. He could have just done all the tests and charged me and I wouldnt have known the difference but he talked to me about it and told me which tests might be helpful. He did those tests and found out why my eyes were so dry. He told me which eye drops would do the most good. He gave me a plan to address the problem.My eyes feel much better now. Still a little dry once in a while but still improving. I no longer wake up feeling like my eyes are full of sand every morning and its great!The front desk staff are courteous and helpful, always open to any questions or concerns and if they dont know the answer they find out. Nice to see customer service is alive and well.Thank you everyone at Magna Family Eyecare. Ill be back.

We have been going to see Dr. Larsen for years. His staff is absolutely wonderful. Especially with my kids.

Last year at my previous eye doctor, they informed me that they would now start charging a “contact lens evaluation fee” starting next year. So as I had not been charged this fee ever before, I decided to change eye doctors. I looked up places around Magna, as that is where I live, and found this place. I called them and asked specifically if they charged a fee on top of insurance for eye exams, they told me that they did not. So I made an appointment and went in for it. During my exam, Dr. Larsen asked why I was changing doctors. I explained about the fee they would start charging, he then explained that everywhere charges that fee and what that fee would cover and such. We got done with the exam and I went to get my prescription printed from the front. That is when I was told that my total amount would be $65.00 (20 of it was from some sort of eye x-ray machine which was optional, so I did know about that part). The 65 still shocked me, so I asked why there was a fee since I had called and asked specifically about that. I was told that the fee is the “contact lens evaluation fee.” Needless to say, I was not happy about it. So what did I do? Ran right home and wrote a nasty review on them. Yeah that will show them!Well the next day, I got a phone call from Dr. Larsen personally. He had seen my review and wanted to address it. He apologized for the miscommunication and explained that he thought that when he was explaining the fee to me, when we were talking about my previous doctor, that he was saying that they were going to still charge that fee. And I probably would have picked up on that if not for the phone call where I was told that there would not be a fee. So I already had it in my head that there would be no fee. Another part of my review that was address was that the fee does not change based on what they give you for trials. He gave me a 5 day supply of daily wears, some solution and different pair of contacts to try. I thought this was all factoring into the evaluation fee. Well turns out those do not factor in at all.I was extremely mad when I left there yesterday, and also very mad when I wrote my initial review. After talking with Dr. Larsen about it, I not mad anymore. I am still frustrated about the miscommunication with the fee, but it sounds like that would have happened no matter where I went for my exam. We will see how this new prescription works and if I like the daily wears or not…In the end though, this is not a bad place to go. It is a neat small business in Magna with some pretty advanced equipment. If you plan on going here and have questions about anything, be it fees, your insurance, fitting fees, or even how the insurance works with them, call them and talk to them about it. Dr. Larsen was very transparent (pun) when I talked to him on the phone the next day.I am still a little weary that my new contact prescription is less in my left eye than it was before, but I was told that it is because it was over corrected before and my eye just needs to get used to the new prescription. I will keep them in though and see what happens.Kudos to Dr. Larsen for calling me. It show me that he does really care about his patients and wants them to be satisfied.

I have been going to Dr Larsen since he first opened his business in Magna, Utah and have had nothing but a wonderful and positive experience for the past ten years! When I was short on cash for my glaucoma meds he would help me out, when I ran out of my prescription and needed an appointment they got me the prescription and got me in right away, they are always there to help you out however they can. I have referred tons of friends and family to him and everyone that has gone there has had nothing but wonderful things to say about him and his staff as well!
