Staff is extremely rude. I went in a few weeks ago with two friends. We weren’t greeted or welcomed in other than demanded to put our drinks on a tray at the front (understandable, but a hello beforehand would have been nice.) the staff didn’t interact with us at all and instead it felt like they were watching and judging us. It’s a shame because we wanted to buy things but felt completely unwelcome. I was honestly just going to let this go assuming they may have been having a bad day, but I’ve spoken to several people since and they too have said the staff and owner are extremely rude. I work in customer service and it’s unacceptable. I promise if they were a little nicer, they would do a lot better business.
I went to Surfing Cowboys to look for a gift and had such a wonderful experience. The owner was extremely knowledgeable about the history of surfing and helped me pick out the most perfect book! The store is beautifully decorated with each piece holding a very special history; you can tell how much thought and care goes into curating the space. It’s such a pleasant shopping experience and feels like you’re being welcomed into a comforting home!
These guys are top notch..
Wonderful shop! They have an amazing collection of vintage and new goods. The owner of the shop was so helpful and welcoming. Gift yourself a treat and stop in.
Stoped in looking for collectable lapel pins. Unfortunately they didnt have any. I will say this their antiques were definitely one of a kind, high end and very beautiful. What also stood out was one of the store owners gave good hospitality (answering questions, detailed information, displaying products and this one is the biggest. I wish to give respect on which is not having an Are you really going to buy negative mindset.Thank you for a really nice visit.
The owner is extremely rude, and not considerate of her customers what so ever. Everything in the store feels and looks cheap. The store was dirty and disorganized, not to mention smelled like retirement home bedding. Ive seen much nicer home goods at Goodwill, and have had much better shopping experiences their as well. Strongly do not recommend.
Surfing Cowboys is one of my favorite stores in LA. Truly one of a kind. The store has incredible 50s Danish furniture, Mexican blankets, vintage skateboards, and original prints of Venice and Santa Monica during their surfing heyday. They sell a wide variety of items at different prices points so everyone can find something special.Owners are very knowledge and friendly.
Love it.Excellent collection of mid-century furniture and vintage California pieces. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Prices are fair and often negotiable.Highly recommend. Theres nothing else like Surfing Cowboys.
