Stopped by after getting breakfast nearby and found this a very good cafe. There was a wide variety of options and lots of pastries. Everything looked very tempting but I went with my usual matcha almond milk latte and it was executed very very well. The staff was very friendly. Overall this is a good place for a drink.

I absolutely love it here! The food is phenomenal. I’ve tried most of the dishes here. The ice cream is amazing definitely taste homemade. But most importantly, they remember me when I come here. On just my second visit, a member of the staff said welcome back. The diversity of the staff and the people was also so pleasing to see. The most comfortable I’ve felt in a very long time!

Ordered the lavender matcha latte and spiced cold brew. Both items tasted amazing. The staff was very friendly and great at suggesting drinks.

Highly Instagramable coffee ☕️ shop and bakery café, but while they use/serve some of my favorite beans, the latte itself was just good. Service was however very friendly and personable. Will surely return. @travelingjen loved her honey lavender latte.

Super cute place. I enjoyed trying out the Blueberry + Lavander ice cream 🍦 i could really taste the lavander but not extremely overpowering.

Bad and boujee, my husband got thrown out because his mask broke, no masks were offered to him and he was treated like a virus, food was subpar and overpriced, no good vibes here, bleh

I went to this place this week for the first time and it should be the last time, as I walked in with my friend the lady refused to serve us because we don’t have mask i completely respect that, we were coming from Orange County and the mask no longer mandatory there... I told her we don’t have a mask can you please give us two masks so we can order! She said NO we don’t have mask, I walked outside I got a mask and I came back to order, few minutes later two guys came in with no mask and the same lady handed them two mask!! It made us really upset and felt underestimated.

Our food came out cold. Bread was as hard as a rock. Bacon was burnt and breaks apart when you pick it up. We also waited over half an hour for it. Will not eat here again

Coffee is from intelligentsia so thumbs down... Espresso machine is a great Italian brand...Food is very over priced however for the location its understandable....3 stars as they keep asking for a tip... Please stop have some decency not to ask for a tip or pay your employees enough not to have them beg for tips...very inappropriate...If this was Japan everyone would be ashamed...No one is entitled to my money if they are I am entitled to free food and coffee...I spent 6.50 on an almond milk latte..11 dollars on bread with cheese and some small greens...

Love this place, love their drinks, love their food, but the management or ownership desperately needs to come up with a new system. I wait 20+ minutes anytime I order anything from here now. I don’t know what needs to change as it doesn’t seem like they are necessarily understaffed.. Maybe a to-go type window would help? I don’t know. Quality place but needs to figure out a better way to function

Been coming since they opened. Great Intelligentsia Espresso and pastries! Johnny is the BEST on the hot bar, go Johnny Go!! But... Im sorry guys, because the length of lines and waiting time is too much for me now. I Cant even come in anymore. It seems to me theres room for improvement in efficiency and service, alas only 3 stars. I hope you can keep up with the demand, I will be back then!

They make amazing Cortado, smooth and intense. Take espresso and ice cream and make DIY Afogato and 1 small scoop for your kiddo for half a price :)

I love taking a drive and winding up here. We’ve been a few times. We usually head for a breakfast burrito at Lily’s next door. Today though we were all about the coffee. I also had pistachio ice cream!!! They have ice cream made with oat milk and also goat milk! Great options for the vegans overall. And, they were very gracious about letting me try a few like the black vanilla ice cream. Wonderful, friendly staff.

So smooth and foamy, just as I like it.Everything looks delicious and the ice cream selection is absolutely a must try.I just wish the person who serves by touching the sandwiches not to work as a cashier. Waiting I watched closely and with the glove she touched the screen for the transactions she also touched a tuna sandwich she packed for to go:( and even thou all the ladies had their hair in ponytails I wish their hairstyle would be more neatly brushed in a place they walk around food all the time. I might be a little detailed clean freak but you don’t want hair in your food.Anyway...Yes!!!!! For the good coffee and ice cream.

They get a star because the food was good, but overall my experience was terrible and I will never go back, especially considering the prices.I ordered two sandwiches and a cold brew. After waiting about 10 minutes, I got curious as to why I hadn’t gotten my coffee yet. I went and asked the cashier who I ordered from, and he said that they didn’t have an order for a coffee from me..!!! I then proceeded to tell him to go check my receipt (make sure you ask for your own copy). 2 minutes later, he comes back with my cold brew and doesn’t even apologize!! That’s what really got me. Then finally after 25 minutes of waiting, the food came. Also, this was all at 3pm on a Thursday, not even peak busy time. Why was this all so slow?!Overall this place and it’s workers were scattered, impolite, slow, and somewhere I never want to spend my money again.

I came in for their famous black vanilla ice cream and walked out with a pint in addition to their passion fruit sorbet and a bunch of their amazing croissants! So hard to resist the deliciousness of everything. The owner, a true Frenchman, is the sweetest around and really believes in his products. And for good reason, everything is amazing! Great hangout which is outside in a beautiful courtyard. Great destination spot! Come for the ice cream and stay for the coffee and sweets!

We ordered the croque mousier, chai latte and the seasonal rose cardamom latte. Everything was below average and not what you would expect for the prices they charge.

Very weird place! They would not take cash and offered to give me the food for free, who does that ? Probably to spit in it or something like that. Waited for a minute but had to leave cause it was very strange. Eat at own risk is my thoughts.

Took 20 minimum for a cup of coffee. Gave one cup and for the other one. I mean 20 minutes. Even if i told them i have been waiting for some time but no one was listening i guess. I usually dont give 1 stars but they earned it.

While waiting for our pizza at DAmores we decided to go check out this little shop! I love that have vegan ice cream flavors!! And that they allow you to try the flavors before committing to a scoop. I ended up getting a split scoop of the pineapple basil and the raspberry lychee flavors - they are incredible! My friend got the banana blueberry which honestly tasted like banana bread. It was so good!They also have food which I was curious to try but maybe another time. You can tell that they put a lot of care into the flavors they create and the quality of ingredients they use. Definitely worth making a stop here!

The place is pricey, which I hope means the employees are paid well. Golden latte tastes a little watery but the lavender matcha is fantastic. Apple turn overs are nice and butter. The almond croissant, while good, needs actual frangipane, not the odd buttery sugar mixture they spread in them. They did a good job enforcing local ordinances.

First of all, they do not have vegan *ice cream.* They have sorbet. Secondly, the store is poorly managed. On my recent visit, the line was long and the service was extremely slow and cumbersome. A lot of guests were cutting in line because the associates working clearly had no system or grasp of how to serve people efficiently.

Leslie and Davids customer service is top notch, the bagel and lox has to be the best one I have ever had, I really enjoyed the dough, it just felt so fresh as if they had just made it, the combination of the citrus, the herbs and capers, phenomenal!

Coffee and Icecream! They even have mini pints to go! Their waffles cones are made in house! Super Yummyyy.

They are masters at preparing delicious coffees. The pastries take me back to Europe every time I bite into one. You really can’t go wrong with anything you get there. The staff is phenomenal.I would suggest that with the skill level the baristas have they should add café con leche to their offerings.

Everything in this cafe has been spectacular! Their flat white has always fantastic and they... have... ice cream! We bought their caramel in a tub and had a taste of it last night... before we knew it, it was over... So today, we got a tub of their chocolate to see if resistance is futile!! They have great breakfast sandwiches, and other food items that leave you feeling like a winner. So go there with your mask on, socially distance and enjoy your cafe experience.

Very tasty almond croissant and gluten free blueberry muffin. Tea was delicious. My recommendation is that they carry Intelligentsias chai because it is the best in the world.

We came here after a hike in Malibu to get ice cream. The ice cream flavors have a lot of variety and they have a lot of Vegan options. I tried a few flavors and settled on the blueberry Jasmine (not vegan) which was very creamy and had a rich but not too rich flavor. They certainly know what they are doing with ice cream. I was somewhat disappointed by the waffle cone. It was thin and delicate and it fractured in half when I started licking my ice cream. I would recommend that they look into creating a thicker waffle cone so that this does not occur. Thankfully I caught it and did not lose my delicious ice cream.

Good meal. A bit pricey. Servers are nice.

My first visit here we were happy to find a nice Cafe with good coffee granted it did take a while in line and to get the coffee. Eight months later we return with hopes of a better experience but unfortunately the inefficiency of the staff resulted in a long wait to order and an even longer wait for the drinks to be ready. Our croissant was ice cold on the inside even after it was warmed. Quality of the coffee is decent but certainly for the wait, not impressive. Our coffee order was also messed up as we paid for two coffees but they only had one in their queue. Unfortunately we wont be returning.

A little gem with good pastries.

Okay, the ambiance is sweet coz I’m always down for some outdoor seating. My omelette was fantastic, my husbands quiche though was warm on the outside, frozen on the inside. There was also a lot of interrupting the cashier while we were ordering which led to some errors with our order. I blame that on the micro managing that was on display. If you hire people trust them to do the work, otherwise folks will just be second guessing themselves.

A bit expensive. But such a nice coffee shop. The menu was pretty unique with a mix of new flavors. They had a golden latte (beware, theres no caffeine. Its a mix of turmeric, ginger, and what not. Sounded like a new experience but I just didnt order it). The baristas would take your order before you actually get to the cashier, which makes it so convenient because then your order will be done sooner! And they are extremely friendly!!!!

Shocking. Had to wait over 20 minutes for an Americano coffee. Then our food was left on the counter until I went in to find it, despite the table number we had been given. Then I had to go back to ask for cutlery. Never again.Thanks for the response. Perhaps I will try again when you are fully staffed. I should have mentioned that despite the shockingly slow service, the food (avocado on toast) was very tasty.

The lady at the front touches everything. She touches food, har mask, customers credit cards, computer screen. She touches her mask every 10 seconds. I dont feel good eating their food.

Great atmosphere in a beautiful location in Point Dume. I had a business meeting in the morning in Malibu and decided to try out their coffee from Intelligentsia. I had a cappuccino, delicious! They have a great outdoor patio shared with couple other stores. I will definitely come back again soon to try out the ice cream selection and other type of coffees.

Great variety of in-house made ice cream and sorbets! The memorable aspect was when they poured waffle batter on the waffle maker to make my waffle cone. I literally gasped when I saw it. I was not expecting that. It took a little longer to get my ice cream, but it was worth it. Clean, white interior with pinterest worthy decor.

They took around a half an hour to prepare our order which was 2 sandwiches from their brunch menu, and 2 cold brews. It was almost as if they didnt expect someone to order brunch (This was at 9:30 am on a Sunday). The turkey sandwich was half of a sandwich and cost 13$. The price was not justified in the quality. They also forgot the cold brews and ran to make them when I asked again. For a cafe that doesnt clean up after patrons, has no indoor seating, and plays more to a coffee/ice cream shop, I couldnt understand the wait nor the high price on the mediocre food (And shockingly small portions). Still confused.
