Good friend, great workers

So...I saved my pennies and researched for 7 months to get my dream saddle. Found it at AustralianStock Saddle Company! I love my Colin Drover! Fits me and my pony like a glove.

Colin is one of those rare breeds that is just oozing horsemanship..He is Brilliant, nothing more to say, if you visit him, you be delighted you did.👍😊

Always had great conversations with him at the Horse Expos. Any issues or questions he was happy to answer or look into.

I went to see Colin with a friend. She was looking for a new saddle and I wanted a few upgrades to mine, a beautiful Fox Poley Colin made 15 years ago and I purchased used from a private party. He was kind, knowledgable, honest and charming. He truly took time to be sure each of us had the right fit and equipment, without trying to sell us on anything. It was like buying from an old friend. Afterward, Colin came out to our barn and took the time to be sure our saddles fit our horses. Watching him with my green gelding was even greater validation - Colin was so patient and gentle with him. He is truly an expert and I couldnt be more pleased with the entire experience. Thanks, Colin!

Two and half years ago, I bought a beautiful new Aussie Saddle from Colin and it fit my quarter horse perfectly after I provided him with drawings and photos of my horses back. He is a warm and charming person who has continued to be a friend to me. It saddens me that these negative reviews are posted when you have not walked in this mans shoes. He has been caring for his wife of 30 years who has Dementia for 6 years, so his place may not be organized or clean because other priorities take precedence. I can NOT imagine Colin ever yelling at anyone! I do know he had a couple crazy ladies caring for his wife and they began extorting money and were asked to leave the property. These bad reviews maybe linked to those unsavory ladies.

We have purchased 2 saddles so far over the years. One of the girths broke fairly early on and I called him and he gladly replaced it. He was professional and straight-forward with us. We will go visit him to look at another saddle in the next few days. We have had nothing but positive experiences with him and I would recommend him and his saddles.

Bought my first saddle from Colin 35 years ago. Great service then and now. Returns messages in a timely manner. Thanks Colin.

Colin is the rudest man I have every met!!!!!!!! He thinks he is a big deal. I called to have a saddle fixed and never got a returned call, then someone I know went up there, I went too, he yelled and screamed at me!!!I would never recommend him or his work to anyone!!!!!!!!!!!

All I can say is that Colin is extremely dishonest. I will never deal with him again. Not recommended.
