From Jay and Chris being more than helpful and honest about what my car needed to the mechanics Mike and Jose taking care of my car like its their own. They’ve installed my transmission and twin disc clutch and the car feels amazing. Any car, let it be your daily or your race car know it is in good hands here!

Had an engine swap done here on my Olds. Great place with competent technicians. They do fab work, pretty much anything you can dream up as long as you give them the proper time to do it right. Jay, Chris and Jose were all very professional and got the job done.

Highly recommend!! My husband is a mechanic for a professional racing team on the national level so he is on the road most of the time. We needed to find a local mechanic we could trust to work on my car when hes not home. After many good recommendations I brought my car to Motorwerks. The owner is extremely knowledgeable and his prices are fair. Many places will upcharge you, but not here. They are very honest and do incredibly good work. I also know a few people who have purchased cars from them and had great experiences. Ask for Christian, you wont regret it!!

I was having an issue with lighting on the drivers side front and back. Dropped car off and they quickly diagnosed the problem. Got the issued repaired and was ready to hit the road again. From start to finish Christian Petrescu owner of Motorwerks was amazing to work with. We sat down discussed the kind of car I was looking for timeline and budget. Chris was responsive and even came in below budget!! Also; I purchased an extended warranty through them for the used car I bought and they honored it wonderfully. There was a small issue (not anyone’s fault) which was covered under warranty and done in a timely fashion to boot. Would def recommend them!

I just recently moved up to Westchester county and was looking for a mechanic close by to me, in which a friend of mine told me about motorwerks. I can’t express enough how polite everyone was starting with Jay in front, and as far as talking with Christian the owner of shop who did the work along side of the other guys he has working with him. Needless to say- best service and extremely nice workers! I needed a simple oil change and tire rotation. For future repairs and up keep, I will be definitely going to this shop!

A simple oil change on my daughters car from another local business turned into a nightmare for us. Christian and his team worked relentlessly to fix all the damage to her car. We were kept updated on the progress with pictures and daily reports. Thankfully Christian was able to fix the car so that it runs perfect again. Even with all the hours that went into fixing the issues, his pricing was more than fair. To say I have learned my lesson is an understatement. From now on, I will always bring my cars to him!!

Bought a car from them. Pretty clean. But what I really like is a few months in I had a slight issue but they asked me to bring it back and they fixed it for nothing. Dont usually find that in todays market.

I purchased a 2005 Dodge Dakota from this company. Had to pay for shipping to MN. When I received the vehicle, it was not drivable. I took it to a Dodge dealership for a check on the problem. Not only was theSteering defective but it needed $5400 worth of repairs, which is 2/3 of what I paid for the truck.. Ball joints, rack and pinion steering was leaking, tie rods, various bushings front and rear, steering shaft, and many more items were on the repair list.. No fobs came with it and when I asked Jay about it, he said fobs were a luxury item. I can’t open the vehicle without the alarm going off. I have to start the vehicle to get the alarm to stop. I tried on numerous occasions to get this company on the phone to discuss these discrepancies but can’ t get them to answer the phone. This is the first time I had bought anything online and I learned a number of valuable lessons. 1. What they say about NewYork businesses is apparently true. They will lie and cheat anyone. Even an unemployed veteran that’s been saving up and looking for just the right vehicle to get me through my retirement years. Now after I save and pay for the repairs, it might get me there. I know there are lemon laws in both MNand New York but the time, money and hassle of going that route is not something I want to approach. Lesson learned on my part and BUYER BEWARE. This is not an honest establishment.Aug. 9thFound out I can get the truck (I bought from this company), back this week with all the things repaired thatthe dealership said was wrong with it. Don’t know the cost yet. Also found out I have to replace the front bumper, speakers for the stereo on the drivers side and purchase a spare tire and rim. The hits just keep on coming.

Was recommended to this place by an Audi rep while trying to get aftermarket mods installed, and I was not disappointed. Prices were fair, and communication with Jay was top notch. Will definitely be returning for future mods to come!

These guys are the real deal. I bought a really clean 22 year old Xk8 coupe from them and I can’t be any happier. Just with any used vehicle that’s 22 years old one should expect to take a risk when buying online but with Motorwerks the risk will be almost non existent. The car arrived clean and crisp however a check engine light came on after I took possession of the car. So I called them up not expecting anything from them but to just make them aware and to thank them for their prompt handling of the shipping and how gorgeous the car is. Jay the owner said “ omar just take it to your local Jag dealer (no one else) and have them call me and we will take care of any issue the car may have” I truly was not expecting that. I took it the local Jag dealer and all the service advisors and mechanics were complimenting my new ride. We are business owners that live in Washington DC and I can assure you that I will not hesitate buying another car from them SIGHT UNSEEN. Feel rest assured when doing business with Jay and Autowerks. My Son is browsing their website on a daily basis till he finds the car that he wants. He’s not looking anywhere else. Dont look around if you are looking for friendly and honest place to service your car, from simple NYS inspection to any important repair. I have tried other dealerships in Mamaroneck/Larchmont area, none bring same service level. Jay (the manager) is professional, friendly, flexible and will charge you fairly. I have found the place to service my two cars! I give they 6 stars!!

I just purchased a 2012 Hyundai Accent for my daughter as her first car. We worked with Jay to find the perfect car for her with in our budget limits. We are all very happy with the car and their honesty and knowledge. I highly recommend them. They are so easy to work with and they always respond back in a timely manner.

Car I bought is still running well after a year but check engine light had to be dealt with to pass inspection, and did, Exept light is on again 1 month later. Bought this car with 183000 on it. Now has 193 .I can easily afford a new car but dont need one !! maintaining this car isnt the problem, its a stubborn check light that was NEVER mentioned when I bought it, the maintenance part I dealt with was expected with that many miles, other than that ..Car still fine but check light wont go away.

(LONG POST, who is the OWNER)I purchased a 2010 Volkswagen CC from Jay whom I thought was a very nice guy in the beginning. However, it turned out that being nice was a part of his job.On June 11th, 2020, I arrived, test drove the car, asked questions regarding the Oil change, Transmission, etc. and Jay told me that the Transmission was service by his mechanics.Jay gave me a 30 warranty on the Transmission and Engine as stated that If anything should happen within the 30 days, they are responsible to fix it with NO CHARGE (Yes, I have it in writing). Let me just say that ALL COMMUNICATION from this point is by text messages and I have ALL printed out from day one.On June 29th, I sent a text message and asked him to call me regarding my car going into reverse. He called me right away and we talked about it when he told me that CCs seldom do that but again, insured me that it was ok. July 6th (Still under the 30 day warranty), I contacted him again due to me driving home on highway from work. I told him that I would take it to a volkswagen dealer which I paid $139. out of pocket, sent him a copy where it said the transmission. He said that he would talk to his mechanics and see what they want to do. I have continued to contact Jay with him responding all the way until the day before the warranty expired, he stop responding. Nothing else did he say, tell me to get it back to him, NOTHING. I them contacted him again (which he read it) when I say that I have all the receipts from talking to him, he was going to talk to mechanics, its a few months later and my car is not catching gears as well as every time i go into reverse, i have to shut the car off, restart it and Pray that it will go into reverse. He has yet to respond.Here I am TODAY (October 30th, 2020) with a car that is in the shop from the transmission problem, no money to get it out, A broken writing promise with a warranty, receipts that in happen within the 30 days and cant get around.this isnt fair the way that Jay treated me and something needs to be do.

Very unprofessional, when you give your car in you expect at minimum to receive it back with the same bolts it went in with, my car ended up with its undercover mounts broken with zip ties as a repair, missing bolts from bumper mounts, bolts that were not tightened, the steering rack was loose causing a clicking sound, bumper misaligned, intake hose damaged. The worst part about it was the fact the owner washed his hands, didn’t even want to listen to the stuff I found wrong, no effort to fix the issue, instead he blamed it on the condition of the car, I am a car guy that worked on his car all the time, I know my car and the one time I don’t have the tool to replace a pan I give it to a so called professional, if you really don’t care about your car give it to this cowboy.

I brought my Jetta in to have some exhaust work done and these guys know their German cars. Chris was such an honest and nice guy which is hard to find these days. He didnt take advantage because I dont know much about cars. Price was fair

My car started to make a strange noise when i hit the brakes. I brought it in and it turned out i needed my front brakes done and new wheel bearings installed. They were honest with me. Being a woman i get nervous when i go into shops that i will be taken advantage of and over sold. I didnt have that feeling here once. Everything was explained to me so i understood. Motorwerks repaired my car for a fair price and did what it needed and gave me a great estimate for repairs i am going to need in the future. i am going to return next month to do them and I will send all my friends and fam to motorwerks.

Petrescu Motorwerke are the best mechanics in Westchester County. They do amazing work and the pricing is more than reasonable. My car was having an issue with the high pressure stretch pump causing the turbo to malfunction. Instead of fixing the problem and charging me for the work, their team told me the malfunctioning high pressure stretch pump was under warranty and therefore would likely be replaced for free by my cars manufacturer. Christian, Jake and Bill are all phenomenal mechanics and what I admire most is their honesty and integrity. You can not go wrong using Petrescu Motorwerke. Theyll do all your motorwerke.
