This is a great Stop & Shop. Its quite big. There is a fish counter, a deli counter, a huge refrigerated and frozen section and the produce section is extensive with beautiful produce. They have a lot of sales which are displayed throughout the store but if you have the patience, grab a circular and go by department. Get a store rewards card, its very helpful with the sales and buy 1 get 1 etc...Plenty of parking in the lot.

Horrible store, very dirty, shelves are not stocked, been empty for the longest time, no one ever at the butcher department, and the workers are nasty and they seem like they just dont care!! I only go there if I need something simple.

Customer service was prompt, friendly, empathic to my situation, even went above and beyond to help get my problem resolved.

The location is ideal near where I live. The customer service can use some more training in friendliness, customer satisfaction and professionalism. They make you feel that you bothering them with exception of one employee named wendy. The store can use some more of stock selection. Most times that I visited the store the shelves was not restock. The store is somewhat dirty Cashiers are unfriendly with the exception of few. Butchers are ok.

I really only come here to return bottles and cans to get the deposit back. Its a very large grocery store with ample parking. Theres something a little bit sad about the place.

Stop & Shop has a pleasant atmosphere. The people that were around me seemed nice. Everyone I saw wearing Masks and keeping their distance. The Cashier that I had was Attentive and Polite.

Very well stocked. I totally approve of the new layout displays through the entire store.

Has a huge assortment of all kinds of goods, fresh food, made food, etc. Staff is nice.

Always have what you need but kind off expensive. The only thing they run out of a lot is Newport cigarettes.

Our favorite grocery store in Larchmont

I live in Mamaroneck and I prefer the Portchester store over this store. The workers are very nasty and it is apparent that the manager does not care at all. I have watched this stire detiorate over the years. Very, very sad😪😪😪

Good supermarket. Not sure how they have changed with covid...I dont see markers to stay 6 feet apart when online but otherwise a good go to store.

I get limited items here. I only go for the Sargento mozzarella because places where I live dont have it and they do. Now I cant even get that! The meat, no good, most produce, nope, and now the cheese. Not sure if thats their fault or Sargento, but, no good. The store is too small, and often crowded with lots of people not interested in your covid precaution, including some staff that have no 2nd thought on invading your personal space. They can cut a thin slice of salami though, I tell you that.

Its a nice place to shop. Love the desserts.

Absolutely the best supermarket in the area. There is a stop n shop that is closer to me, but I would rather drive to this one for my shopping. It has the largest selection, and the best prices, hands down. They even have a guest wifi. I dont often get excited about super markets, but this stop and shop is the real deal.

As a former employee of this depressing job built on a house of cards, I am proud to have left after 20 years of being a cash cow and not a human being. Working for any ‘angel’ boss who thinks I am such a puppet on his or her string indicate the level of education I would rather not have to move on to better things. The day of this review is Day 56 of my so-called ‘suspension,’ and may God have mercy on the ‘angel’ boss who thinks he won’t catch a fatal disease I’m proud not to have.

Basic supermarket for your basic needs. Wouldn’t suggest if your a gourmet chef or a foodie. Would suggest North Shore Farms, Wegmans, Fairway or DeCicco’s for those needs. For basic shopping items, this is your go to place.

This is our go to supermarket. It delivers overall, in terms of produce, bakery, and dairy items. The meat department has been improved slightly but it can be hard to locate the butcher (I think I saw an advertisement for several associate positions, so I take it they are working on this). Ive often found the store can be a bit messy at times but it is on the smaller side compared to the Super Stop n Shops nearby. Nonetheless, the prices are generally competitive and staff are helpful. Seasonal items are usually very good in terms of selection. Dont forget: use your Stop N Shop card to earn Shell gas points (same parent company).

Great hidden gem in the neighborhood. Today they were giving out free samples of chocolate chip cookies which made my heart sad because Im trying no sugar.The store is great for quick trips, but sometimes their produce selection is lacking.Grateful to have it in the area.

Just got home to find the dip I purchased from the refrigerated section expired over a month ago..typical of this location, here you must take the extra time to check expiration dates..so sad cant trust such a large grocery chain to have systems in place to insure their customers get fresh food products..recently had to run back to return spoiled pork ribs....place was crowded with employees opening produce boxes while customers trying to navigate the small spaces. The staff here, however, is very helpful and friendly, place just feels mismanaged from the top..very disappointing..

Manager is kind of out of step with this new philosophy displayed on the shirts the staff wear. Occasionally some employees are less than helpful though most are. Stock is a bit thin in some areas and it can take up to weeks to restock. Overall in my personal opinion Id give the location a B. I do shop here frequently due to convenience of the location and have done so for about 18 years now.

Stop & shop on Larchmont is clean, easily accessible and offers free parking. You can find groceries very easily because the aisles are clearly marked. Staff are friendly. Always shop here for Green Tea Match a Ice cream, organic meats and fresh fruit.

THIS STOP AND SHOP DOES NOT EVEN DESERVE ONE STAR. The store is dirty and the staff is rude. It is poorly managed and everyone working there clearly needs an attitude adjustment. The employees (mostly the cashiers and front staff ) spend more time on their phones then helping customers or trying to keep the store clean. They whisper rude remarks under their breath and give you dirt looks. I have lived in the town and been going to this store for 17years and I have never seen a smile on anyones face. There customer service is pitiful. Tonight I watched one of the head staff run out of the store after a woman who had forgotten to pay for some large items that were under her cart and accuse her of being a thief in front of other shoppers in the parking lot. clearly the woman had simply forgotten that she had items at the bottom of her cart because she apologized and ran back in to pay for the items. She was so embarrassed!!! Your best off going somewhere else. I know I will be !! No customer deserves to be treated this way.

Good store, doing a good job staying instock

If I could give them zero stars I would. Most, if not all, of the employees here are nasty and borderline hostile, particularly about an hour before closing time. I have been (wrongfully) accused of using the wrong form of payment when the self-service kiosk was not working, hovered over when I was trying to make a quick purchase a full 1/2 hour before closing (note to employees trying to rush me out the door: I made sure I went as SLOWLY as possible), and just generally condescended to and ignored all because I made the mistake of trying to purchase items from this business. Each time Im forced to come here—usually because I need something at an inconvenient hour and dont feel like driving far—I brace myself for a confrontation. Unfortunately, in Westchester County, it seems as though you get what you pay for. Head over to Whole Foods if you want better service.

Always difficult to have my calls answered for customer service. In fact Im calling right now at 6.31pm and the call keeps recirculating back to the message that says, please hold while we connect you to the customer service dept. Im now trying the various departments and still no one is picking up. Tried the meat department and customer service picked up, how does that work? So if I want customer service in the future I should call the meat department? All this after 15 minutes.

Understaffed with cashiers most of the time. There were only 2 registers open at 5pm on a Friday. They do have good sales and specials though.

I got a coupon FROM the store for Oko Kitty Litter. 2 for 1. Pretty good deal. Well, the expiration date was up and I asked a person at the customer service for a rain check, we dont do rain checks was the abrupt answer I got. So I went to the Dobbs Ferry location and the customer service lady was astonished at what I told her. She replied if we dont have the product, we give rain checks. So then I went to Cross County location and they actually had the product and honored the rain check the Dobbs Ferry customer service gave me. No more Mamaroneck location for me.

Very friendly and helpful. I needed lots and lots of ice, and they almost immediately refilled the cooler and got me through the register line. Wonderful customer service.

Stop & Shop is located in New Rochelle and Larchmont, I dont know about Mamaroneck, but its one of my favourite stores after A&P (wich no longer exists), I also liked Food Emporium, Mrs Greens, etc.

Recycling machines dont turn on at the right time and nobody wants to help

Worst customer service ever. I went shopping today, and witnessed a few young ladies treating an elderly man horribly. The young ladies went against management orders. Personally, i would just keep peace and go with the flow. I understand, its difficult at times, but in the end its about customer service.

Nice store good soups pre made sushi and sandwiches. Nice helpful staff.

Huge parking, friendly staff, good selection. HOWEVER, the evening hours are terrible ShopRite stays open till 2 am. every night they close at 10pm -NOT competitive!

Just a horrible experience. The other ones in the area are better. Staff do not look like they want to be there. I do not blame them. It feels very run down and cluttered with special deals blocking the quite narrow aisles. It would be better if they shut it down.

No choice, not great on prices, not clean, dated look, grumpy rude staff, locals are unanimous to say that this store shames the whole chain, only A&P is worse. Shopping there is a depressing experience. S&S in New Rochelle or TJ are much better option for grocery shopping.

Nice and clean and the staff is pretty helpful Im just got pretty good variety but the only problem is the deli, Its usually understaffed and the wait can be very long but other than that its a pretty good supermarket.

Just had THE WORST shopping experience ever there. Staff is awful. 2 were too busy flirting to care that they were blocking the shelves that I had to get to and the bagger was TERRIBLE!!! She put my eggs and muffins in bags with a million soda bottles in them. I will NEVER shop there again.

Worst service and staff possible. The store is dirty, very surprised at the more than below level of cleanliness. The courtesy desk is terrible. Most of the time unmanned. Stay clear of this store. Workers are generally playing with the cell phones and not tending to there duties of employment. Its sad to see a store, a business run this way.

Its really bad once you get in the door and fight your way past the newly weds then into the midlife crisis people that dont know why theyre there and then to finish it off they dont have the beer you went for. You have to fight your way past people that cant decide between self check or regular.

I only went there once for a couple things and I was out of there in 10 minutes, no problem.

Reasonble supermarket with not too long lines and ok pricing

They carry Sabretts franks so when on sale we restock our freezer in Ohio (dont forget the unfrozen bottles of onions, & mustard too.) We used to shop this store while living in NY.

I have shopped for years at Stop & Shop in several Connecticut stores as well as the two White Plains, NY stores. They have consistently been excellent. However, the Mamaroneck store has a problem: The personnel in the deli are abominable. They are lazy and slow, but worse than that, they are rude, hostile, customer unfriendly, untrained in how to treat people and unaware of the products they are selling. In fact they come across as arrogant in spite of being very stupid. Who hires these undisciplined, untrained semi-barbarians? How can people who have no conception the the customer comes first be put behind a deli counter? From now on I will do my shopping elsewhere.

The outside of the building needs a whole lot of help and theres never anyone to be found if you need help inside.

Employees tend to be unprofessional and a bit lazy. I often hear them discussing personal matters and smoking in front customers. Also, employees just stand and watch self service customers scan and bag their own groceries instead of helping.

Smells bad, very dirty, checking out is a nightmare, understaffed, seemingly overworked and moody management, food quality is very low. I really suggest driving an extra little bit to another Stop n Shop, or better yet, find a different grocery chain all together... When Wegmans comes to Westchester this place will be out of business.

Its hard to overstate how poorly run this supermarket is. I try not to shop there but it is conveniently located. Last time I went in at 6pm on a Monday and the shelves were so empty I wondered if they were closing that location (if only they were and we could get a Wegmans!). I turned to a fellow shopper and asked if it was only me or was there no food in this store and she replied that she only shops here as a last resort. Me too. My scanner didnt work, the customer service people didnt know how to fix it or get me a new one. The employees were complaining about new shirts they were required to wear...unbelievable that they stay in business.

Terrible. It doesnt smell good always and Im scared to go here sometime. I try avoiding it whenever possible.
