Amazing antique and collectors store! Im an avid antique collector and patron of finely hand-crafted pieces whether it be furniture/decorations to art! This store has incredible pieces you will not find in any big box store with cheap quality stuff manufactured and imported from China! The owner is very kind and accommodating to my needs! I set an appointment Due to co-vid! to view some pieces for a new home that Im staging currently on the market now! I get nothing but compliments from all the agents and viewings and they all asked where I bought these beautiful Italian furniture sets and variety of other pieces from and I tell them come here! Im planning on buying one of the beautiful glass chandeliers next for the next home were staging! But you need to reserve a time for an appointment and trust me you will not be disappointed!

I think this store is absolutely beautiful. It has a ton of unique pieces that you will not find in everyday shopping. I also agree with another reviewer by saying the prices are also great. I think the customer service was inviting and friendly. Honestly someone who can only think to identify the store owner as “the Chinese lady” more than likely is the real issue.

Absolutely ZERO star to extremely rude old Asian lady(assuming the owner) and another rude younger lady.Owner,you need to stop putting reserved parking sign in your favorite parking spot as it is your own paid parking spot when it is not.It is illegal! You need to think about others,not only your convenience...Please. Then maybe you can start getting better reviews from customers.

I have been shopping at the Home Store for about eight years. During that time I have found all sorts of great gems at very reasonable prices.Won, the owner, is always friendly and helpful with questions regarding her merchandise. Usually my best finds are when Im out shopping for no reason and have no money set aside and I find these great bargains like a G Harvey painting or an old goat cart or many items for my garden.On my recent visit I found French twin beds, which I had to leave behind, a pair of Botanical prints and a couple of great settees.I can truthfully say that Home Store has fairly priced merchandise good service and constantly changing merchandise.

Lots to comb through here. I thumbed through the records in the back of the store for a good ten minutes-there was a whole huge stack of Frank Sinatra! Very eclectic second hand place. Prices are a bit high if youre looking for thrift stuff, but there are a lot of cool, unique antiques to find here. The woman at the front counter was also very nice and helpful :)

If I could give a zero...Look, I own a company and I am very conscientious when it comes to difficult customers, and I go out of the way to not be that guy. So, all I needed was some paint, milk paint that is. Not many retailers sell it, but you can get it online easily. Im a local business owner & like to buy local so I would rather not buy online if at all possible. I walk into the store and immediately I notice the attitude of this girl. They didnt have the quantity of paint I needed, so I asked when they would be ordering more. She said she didnt know when the owner would be ordering more, and basically you get what you get, at which point I said I will get it online unless she wanted to sell 2 pints at the quart price. She said no and became belligerent and said do what you have to. I asked her what i said to make her so angry and she asked me to leave. Based on her rude attitude, I asked who the owner was. She refused to say, only stating that her father developed half of Prince William County and is a VERY rich man. Apparently I was supposed to be impressed. It will be a miracle if this business survives another year. By the way, quart price is $5 cheaper on Amazon & Ill have the amount I need in 2 days with free shipping.

Horrible service 0 stars for this place the Chinese lady (sorry I mean like that but I asked her name in the kindest way and she said I did not need her name to buy) she is totally rude she has no manners lack of much respect to the clientsAlso the store is very dirty and is a mess! High prices! Stay away from these store!

So to start on a positive, this place has a pretty nice selection and great quality items. Buuuut, thats where the positives end. When my fiance and myself went here a few weeks ago we were greeted as if we were delivering mail or something. When the asain lady behind the counter (I can only assume she is the owner) realized were patrons we could tell she assumed we couldnt afford anything in her store. Long story short we did not feel welcomed or valued as customers and were treated as if anything we wanted to talk to her about were out of our budget. Only gave 1 stars for the selection of items... Would give 0 if I could. There is nothing more important than good customer service, and this place doesnt have it.

I recently stopped in this store to look through what I heard was a large collection of all kinds of antiques. I found a vase that I took a liking to that did not have a tag or any sort of price. I brought the vase up the the front to ask for a price and was greeted with outright attitude and disrespect. I was asked if I had just “not seen the the tag” when clearly it had been ripped off a long time ago. I decided not to purchase the vase ( due to the attitude I faced) and was told by the employee that they don’t need my business anyway. Could not recommend this place less.

First time in here loved everything the lady here was so nice and helpful they have to coolest and rare stuff you wont find anywhere else must come see and I came across a old comic that I really wanted and she gave me for free for Christmas she made my day! Definitely will be back

Great fine jewelry for low prices! I purchased a sterling silver chain and pendant for only $45 that would easily be worth over $100. I also got a nice leather and cubic zirconia watch for only $5! I always get my jewelry from Homestore now.😀

Extremely rude young and immature girl at the front desk. Claimed the Made in China gold frames were brand new even though the screws were completely rusted, the backings were falling off, and the plastic inserts were tarnished and covered in dirt. She was argumentative and when I politely said that I was no longer interested she informed that she doesn’t need my business anyways, which made me chuckle due to the poor reviews I have read regarding this business. She mocked me as I departed (again lack of maturity and professionalism). Some items are reasonably priced, most are not. I appreciate fine goods, this store is definitely not of that caliber. I gave it a chance, but I now see why they have poor reviews. Please do not waste your time or money at this business.

This place is a little bigger than it looks and has some wonderful items, I thought most were priced pretty fair, and even some I thought would be a steal

This store has a wide variety of unique and interesting items- however, the owner/staff member that I interacted with was incredibly rude and disrespectful. As a young graduate student and POC, I wasn’t greeted upon arrival, and still felt watched the entire time I browsed the store. When I leaned in to take a closer look at some smaller display items the staff member (a petite Asian woman) rushed over to me and demanded that I not touch anything (I hadn’t) as apparently those items were out of whatever presumed budget she assumed I had.No amount of interesting merchandise can counterbalance employees who are predatory, aggressive and biased on issues related to presumed class and race. I would absolutely not recommend as a matter of principle, which is unfortunate as the sourced items are unique and generally priced well.Additionally, if items are so fragile that a simple gaze will distress them to the point of total destruction then perhaps they shouldn’t be sold. Even if certain objectives need to be maintained, there is a much better way to interact with the public and a two inch sign indicating that ‘assistance is required’ isn’t it. That’s probably why they’re only able to be open four days each week because they lose potential customers due to poor customer service.

We contacted the store to get some slip covers made for our dining room chairs and were told to send some pictures over. We sent some pictures and got a quote back. We then agreed to meet at 8:30am in morning to get one of our chairs measured so that we could order the fabric we wanted. Nobody showed up to meet us, we text the owner and she says that we were supposed to meet her father at their Woodbridge store. Well we didnt know there was a Woodbridge store so we went over there. Once there the man (Sam) looks at the chair and says he doesnt want to do the job because it would take too long. Thanks for wasting our time.

I stopped in the store today, since I was next door. I asked the associate about a cobalt glass set that I admired. One of the items had no price. She literally snapped at me, saying that was buyer #8s items, and she had no idea what the price was. I was so taken aback I apologized for asking and said that I had never been in before so didnt know how it worked, and assumed that since she was the only one to ask, she might have a price on the set I wanted. She then, said dont say sorry, I cant help it if these sellers dont price their stuff, and guess they didnt want to sell anything. Needless to say, her attitude was unacceptable, and there would have been many others ways for her to say she didnt know the price, but could ask, could take my number and have the seller call me. Im sorry: Buyer #8, that you dont have someone in your corner at the place you chose to sell. You may want to reconsider that, and I most certainly will not return.
