There an employee (young lady) who assisted my son and I, she was AWESOME! She went out of her way to help us find the item we were looking for... I am big on customer service and this young lady was exceptional! Thank you for your time!

The staff was very helpful. There were a few items missing from inventory but the staff was always willing to check if they had any in stock. They were also very willing to assist with price checks on misplaced items.

I do art so I frequent this Michaels. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Typically Im straight to painting section so I know what I need but service is good. Love the deals and coupons they have on painting supplies. Wish they carried wood panels and bigger supply of posca pens.

Customer service is very poor, staff is very rude, and if there is anything worth buying they put it under one of their coupon disclaimers so you can never use coupons on the items. Michaels is becoming the worst craft store ever. I wish A. C. Moore was still around or they would put a Hobby Lobby in Manassas. I guess I will be traveling to Woodbridge because I am definitely not shopping at Michaels EVER again.

What can I say? Good seasonal prices.. quality good.. If you want discounts start taking notes of what is in sale because at the register they start saying that they do not know about it and charge you the complete price... at least the cashier that I got that day probably got a very bad day.. he was not so happy to work or help me... i ended buying things that I needed but i just wanted to leave the place without buying anything...

=While at the Manassas Va store today 5/5/2020 with my mom, outside we see one of the employees handing what I think were online orders to a couple of customers, we head for the front door, the employee stops us and tells us there is a 10 customer limit inside, but we had seen 4 people walk out already, anyways, we get behind lines they had set up on the sidewalk, another customer asked if the store was open, she said yes, but he had to wait behind us.the employee goes back inside the store, and we are still waiting, 2 more customers come out of the store, and then one more customer walks right into the store, and nobody is there to tell her to wait outside, so we get a little upset and decide to go into the store, I see the cashier and say to her how we just saw one customer walk right into the store and nobody stopped her, the previous employee comes to us and say there are too many customers inside and we needed to wait... I said she needed to be consistent and keep better track.

Always something to see and buy at Michaels! Went for a specific yarn which was not there but found other treasures. Looked like they were stocking shelves and changing seasons. Sales people were helpful and pleasant.

The young lady that was at the front register deserves a raise she was handling the registrar the phone welcoming folks into the store and cleaning her and helping to clean the adjoining register all while be the most upbeat and friendly person Ive met in a while.

The store is clean and the employees are very helpful. I like to go here and dream about all of the crafting that I will do in my approaching retirement. I could paint, crochet or even get super into Oragami. He head is spinning with all of the possibilities that retirement will offer.

I was very disappointed in the curbside pickup, waited 40 minutes after several calls. I was ask to come in store to pick up on Isle 6 and I said I wait..she said be 10 minutes...was 25 minutes later. I have Lupus and a high risk. Another car came and their order was taken out right away. But it was clear the girl had a attitude because I didnt come in. This was Manassas Store arround 145 to 230..the cashier was working form Isle 6

Manager was video chatting his buddy throughout the store, loudly and not the most appropriate conversation for all to see and hear. Store was not clean and organized like it used to be.

Michaels is a good choice for arts and crafts items as well as more advanced art work items. They have framing choice as well and always have seasonal items for the holidays. They also have a public restroom, but it does have only one stall, but at least they have one for the longer trip visits!

The staff was really helpful and courteous, and facility was clean. I not certain, but it seems smaller than the Michaels in Woodbridge. If you have never been, it a store devoted mostly to crafting and art.

Store closed with no notification why; not a sign or nothing. There were customers waiting. Unprofessional. Not supportive of thier community they are in. Was told by Manager H. Pugh and Regional Manager C. Cookson decided to close the store with no warning. Manager even tried to tell me that they were open until 7pm when I told him there was no way when I was there. Then he changed his tune.

Great store with great price! I love the fact that the store is always nice and clean. I could spend hours there. So much crafts to choose from. I buy anything from wedding items, to flowers, to frames and so much more. I enjoy shopping here and the best part is when you become a member (no charge...just sign up) you can save so much money. They are always having a great sale. I brought this 16×20 picture frame and it was $17.99 and I used my 40% coupon and paid only $10.79. Cant be at that!

Initially visited as the husband of a crafter to pick up some vinyl that was on sale. Ended up spending a lot more time here just captivated by all the neat things they have in stock, and even picking up some well-priced picture frames. Has overall better ambiance than Hobby Lobby, and is closer to my home. Will return.

Its good to have an art and craft store around since ACM closed but Michaels is not an art and craft dream store.Except a very few items everything is very expensive. The employees should be nicer and offer customer a better quality customer service. If you become a reward member they wont offer a coupon or a discount.Their teacher discount is 10% comparing AC Moore who is offering 15% ÷ a coupon and much more other discounts: the $ 10 Reward program, items are on sale all the time, the 40 or 50% one regular price item and they often offer the 15% or 20% coupons for the entire purchases for regular or on sale items, the family and friends coupons and other discounts.Thats why I cant rate Michaels more than 2 stars.

Its a craft store. It has pretty good prices and staff knowledge is hit or miss sometimes about HOW to do things. But they will eventually find you the thing you want if they have it. Id easily choose the store over Amazon or online shopping.

The store is fairly well stocked considering all the places that are short on supplies due to COVID-19. The store was neat and appeared to be clean. There werent many customers which may be due to the Phase 1 so there werent any social distancing issues. However, that made me think to look around and, so far, it is the only retail location that I have been to that does not have any signage about social distancing nor do they have the floor markings. Not that it is necessary. It is the individuals responsibility...it was just interesting since most places have it. The cashier was friendly. But the plexiglass barrier they have and the length of the hand scanner became a bit of an issue. I bought two fairly large frames which could not be go through the bottom of the plexiglass and the cashier struggled to get enough length on the scanner to turn it to scan the frames. Honestly, it may be better just for the customer to hold up each item and place it in a bag themselves while the cashier uses the hand scanner to scan all items.They are doing the best they can in the new normal. At least the cashier was friendly and we found what we were looking for.

Just a regular Michaels arts and craft store, it’s Usually quiet. The staff is always helpful and kind. I recently came in to make a return it went so smoothly. All I had to do was bring the item in and give them my rewards card number(without a receipt) and they gave me the money in cash. I’m glad this is my local Michaels 😃

Good place to get ideas for crafts. Youll end up spending lots if youre not careful- crafting can be addicting.

Very nice craft store. Plenty of selection and reasonable prices. The staff is very helpful and friendly. We go here regularly for frames and other craft items and always find what we are looking for. The store never feels dirty or crowded and things are easy to find.

I don’t shop at Michael’s often, but had a framing issue and received the best customer service from Scarlet in the framing department. It was Christmas Eve and I couldn’t figure out or find a fix. Her suggestion and repairs were not only perfect and quick, so was her kind professionalism.

Make sure you sign up for their email thingy. They always have extra savings.Very friendly staff and awesome sales. One staff member even helped me put together my door wreath and hucked me up with some coupons.

Typical Michaels, if you need any sort of craft or framing need, theyll have it. I am super impressed by the sprinkles selection at this Michaels in particular. They recently added a section to the store where you can get custom t-shirts and stuff made, which is cool. I did lower it to 4 stars because they always seem under staffed. No matter what day or time there are normally only 2 registers open so if you go on a weekend, prepare to wait. Oh! And download their app, theres always a 30-40% off coupon!
