If the engines were tested from running cars as they claim then I wouldnt have recieved a knocking engine. If you look through the reviews youll see they have a reputation for selling bad engines.

Shop is mostly replacment motors. They used to stock alot of aftermerket parts and preformance motors but not anymore. (3/2021)

Bought a JDM F20C full swap ( engine with the transmission ) for my 2001 Honda S2000, Way cleaner than expected.Got it ship to the shop very quicker than I thought installed running smooth like a clock. I recently bought a D17a and I specifically asked them if this motor has passed compression test and they said yes so I bought the motor from themthe guy was rude and didn’t seem like he didn’t want to do business with meI recently just got done replacing my motor that I bought from them and todayI did a compression test and it failed all 4 cylinder on the motorthey lied to me and I can’t do nothing about it because my warranty is over I highly recommend you don’t go there for any motors !!!!!!!!

I bought a 2JZGTE VVTI and R154 Transmission from these guys and had a great experience. They were more than willing to help me find exactly the variant of the 2J I wanted and were very welcoming when I stop by to just browse. I purchased a complete 4G63t engine, transmission setup for a 2G. Installed it on March 2018 over a year ago. And everything works very well. I picked up a B18C5 from them most recently... but i have picked up a couple of B20s for the track/race car. All the motors have been in great shape (they are fine with bringing a flash light, 19mm, etc. and check for yourself). My C5 was easily able to put down my horse power cap number, has great compression, and survived 6 hours of track time with no issues.

Called this morning asked if they had a motor they did 800. Told them I’d be there in an hour and a half said they would have it ready. Got there right on schedule all doors were open but nobody in site. Guy walked in said he couldn’t do anything because the main guy wasn’t there he would be back in 20 mins. I sat there for an hour and a half. When he finally got there he walked right past me didn’t even acknowledge me. Proceeded to get the motor that was supposed to already be ready. He then said it wasn’t his fault I waited I should have told him I was coming. Firstly it’s a business I shouldn’t have to tell someone I’m coming to get their product! Secondly I did tell him I was coming. Twice!! They do not know how to run a business! Don’t waste your time with them!!!

If I could give them more than 5 stars I would. I drove 3 hours just to visit this location. Mind you, there is another place maybe 45 minutes from me. But the customer service with this place is through the roof. They didn’t hound me when I was deciding to make a decision. They were super helpful and shared a few laughs. I must’ve spent over an hour just hanging with the guys and ended up buying a RHD clip with ITR backseats and a ITR cluster. All of which was in amazing condition. If i could give this place 0 stars I would. They left us in their lobby after waiting for compression test because we had to go back inside to sign a waiver which wasn’t an issue but no one ever came inside so we could finalize the deal.When some guy came out, he was very friendly, he said you’re guy coming for the 1JZ, we shook hands, greeted each other then he took us to the back where we went to check the engine out. When we get back there the salemans wasnt friendly at all. As a seller you dont talk rude to an buyer that pushes em away. You make them feel comfortable and interact with them1st, Im inspecting the engine checking for broken sensors, missing parts and oil leaks. He tells me that doesnt matter whats on the outside well if im investing alot ot money into something, im going to inspection it outside and internally. I was always taught to Inspect your motors for leaks, broken sensors cause that stuff adds up when its time to replace it, then you compression test it. However he just trying tell me im wrong that stuff doesnt matter, “eh not really” in an smart he know it all way. Its an old engine stuff will be missing but you’re contradicting yourself if you tell me it comes with everything. (ecu, maf, and all the sensors) but it had deleted block off plates, missing sensors, crack ac pulley, corrosion on alternator and everywhere. It could have been from an flood car for all i know or left in the rain so that is why its the last motor thats been sitting there but you can easily sell it though. It wasnt an good deal for the condition of the engine2nd, He was very rude about how the way he talked to my dad and I, especially how he talked to my dad when we greeted him, he didnt even seem to care about us, treated us like we just wasnt worth his time, I called the day before to ask for pictures but he claimed the engine was in the back, when i get there, the engine is behind two other engines but was in reaching distance to snap a pic also when we got ready to make the purchase, he’s just bragging to us like you going buy the motor cause i got people coming all over the world to buy my motors. Okay thats cool then sell it to them then, If you don’t respect us then why should i give you my money? if you can easily sell it. then go stick somebody else for that high price junk. Im not desperate to get it because its the last one. you are not the last jdm importer out there!Last, Learn how to be an salesman and humble yourself! Being an know it all gets you nowhere, Even if he had 1000 good motors i still wouldnt gave him my money. Because you don’t deserve anything from anybody for being rude. These guys are the best in DMV area. They’ve been around for quite some time. My friends and I have gotten motors and transmissions very often throughout the years. Please dont waste your time with these guys. The owner does not stand behind the warranty he sells his product with. Even with evidence they deny any problems. Then theyll make you jump through hoops to prove your case. And finally when your proof cant be denied, hell try to deny that the warranty covers your situation. There are no doubts that accidents happen in this business. But its how you handle problems like these that makes you a good company. And these guys have proven to NOT be a company worthy of anyones time or money.

They now arent honoring their warranty and tried to pay off a bad review to their FB page instead of addressing the issue.... Dude legit quoted me a price on an rb26dett that was more than having one shipped from Canada considering I was going to pick that up in person that’s crazy. Had to ask multiple times for a price. Then guy responds like I said we have em! Their loss as between my friends and I we’ve got dozens of jdm imports. With a few yet that we want to purchase. So the attitude of the salesman lost them over 100k in business as I personally like to build a relationship with a company buying an engine and then cars. So I’ll go to Ohio, Baltimore or somewhere else before I purchase anything especially a jdm nsx off someone that can’t value a small purchase you don’t deserve the larger purchases. No response at all either when I called em out on their disrespect.
