Called on a Thursday for a refill because I knew my tanks were getting low. There was a hold on my account because my mom had a balance for her house that hadn’t been paid. (Nothing to do with me.) They would not fill my gas. We paid the balance and I was out of town Friday and Saturday, the propane ran out Saturday night. I called Sunday hoping for an emergency delivery, but I was put in a list with “priority”. Monday went by and no delivery, no phone call. I called them twice and had no answer. Now it’s Tuesday and I spoke with them on the the phone and they said, “we will get there as soon as possible within the next ten business days.” I have no heat in my house, it’s 50 degrees inside. Thankfully I dont have children, otherwise this would be a terrible situation.

Lets just say I couldnt wait to give my cancelation notice of agreement to them.Horrible CS. Ive had so many issues with their service I had to escalate it to their regional manager.Look elsewhere if you need a reliable knowledgeable propane provider.

I have been very happy with their service until last winter. I understand that last winter was an anomaly, but the service was horrible as I was running low and eventually ran out of heating oil in my home. The office was dismissive, and questioned if I was really running low, when I ran out it took six hours to make contact with them. I would give a lower rating, but I had used them successfully for five years. The delivery personnel were great. Even when I ran out the delivery driver took responsibility and made sure the furnace was bleed and operating before he left. The bottom line is the no run out guaranty does not mean a thing. I did run out, and they acted as if nothing happened.

Much more expensive than Hunt Country Propane. Ive called several times to comparison shop for propane before deliveries, and Quarles is consistently 50-70 cents per gallon over-priced. Thats $500 more to fill up my tank!!! No Thank you!

Steer clear of any and all Quarles Energy Services - whether out of Manassas or any other depot. Like the other reviews, I prepaid for my heating oil delivery, was told it would be delivered on Thursday or Friday. For the last three deliveries, I requested 24 hour notice because I a) have a gated property and b) work M-F and am not normally around to let them in.First time, no call. Luckily, my parents were visiting and there to let them in. Second delivery, a very grumpy call at 8 pm to inform me that the delivery would be on Saturday. What they didnt say is that it would be a 6:30 am. Now this last and third delivery, no call. I call to find out if I will be getting a delivery and they inform that yes, indeed, it would be today, Saturday. Time, I ask, because believe it or not Quarles, I have a life and plans. Cant give you a time - we dont know what the driver is doing. Bull cucky, I say. Cancel my order then. AT which point they get all the more huffy like its my fault for daring to ask them to provide proper customer service.There are plenty of other heating oil providers out there. Ive given Quarles 3 chances to provide heating oil in a timely fashion and with appropriate notice. They failed each time. I will be switching.Bottom line, AVOID Quarles!

Horrible customer service

Quarles has been going downhill in service and services for the past 10+ years. There are better companies that want your business and deserve your business. I have run out of gas several times so the guarantee never to run out means absolutely nothing. Just a bait and switch.
