He was extremely intelligent and well-spoken, especially for someone so young, and we chatted about a wide range of topics and current events while he worked.I fully recommend OD.

The Salesman (Al) and individual (Bill & Helper) were fantastic. Some words that come to mind: totally professional and customer oriented in every respect; knowledgeable, responsive, patient and helpful when I had questions; solid product, reasonable prices and quality work.

The tech did a thorough and great job fixing my garage door opener. No complaints there. I found it odd the bill I received and paid only showed a total cost. There was not a breakdown of labor and parts costs. I requested a new bill showing the two costs. Again I received a receipt showing only a total cost, no breakdown of labor and parts. My bill was $260.40 for 50 minutes of labor. I had a new wall console installed. I googled the cost of a wall console for my garage door opener and they cost around $22.00. Just letting Iou know the tech did excellent work, his labor charge $238, and it is strange why the company does not want to show a breakdown labor and parts.Dave

In November 2020, we had Overhead Door replace a heavy, uninsulated 60-year-old wooden two-car garage door. The installation was somewhat challenging due to an uneven ceiling height. We visited the showroom, were pleased to see product we liked, and a technician came out promptly to take detailed measurements. The door installed fits perfectly! It is attractive, lightweight compared to our old door, and runs much quieter too on the modern coil spring system vs. the old extension springs. It was installed by Terrence H, who was knowledgeable and pleasant and had the job completed in just a few hours. It is now five months past installation, and there have been no problems with the new door. We highly recommend Overhead Door due to our most satisfactory experience.

Im very disappointed to share this review after seeing so many great reviews posted on here. I was promised call backs first sales rep to be called back by manager which never happened. Than I got a hold of the manager myself who couldnt help with my request and said a GM would call me back that never happened... Shows me they dont care for their customers request. I was basically charged $250 for two people to come out to just view the property without any work performed. They would not even help to lower the charge... If I was called back properly as promised, I probably wouldnt even take the time to write this review since I hate to bash any company online. Very very frustrating disappointing experience....

Three visits from technicians in four days -- no attempt to fix the problem with my door not shutting -- sold me upgraded equipment I didnt need -- lousy experience with Overhead Door maintenance. Telling me fairy tales about the sun interfering with the electric eyes when it had worked fine for nine years. Suddenly the sun is an issue after nearly a decade? Tech actually told us not to use the door in the afternoon. Can you believe that level of service? The same tech came twice -- told the dispatcher never to send him to my house again -- hes fired -- send anyone else but him. Second guy sold me new eyes that werent needed. Next day after he left, the door still didnt work. I finally fixed it myself by bending the support flange to better align the eyes. That was all that was needed! Didnt need three useless visits, didnt need new electric eyes for over $90. Just needed someone to look at eye alignment at take five minutes to fix it. Very disappointed in the POOR SERVICE from Overhead Door. One star is a gift.

Great experience with this company. One of the springs broke on our double garage door, called them late in the afternoon and polite gentleman, Bryce, took the call, gave me a quote, and said he could have a serviceman out that same evening. Jon, the tech, called when he was on his way, was polite and efficiently and effectively repaired and serviced the door, then cleaned up...and invoiced me for only a modest and reasonable amount more than the quote, for a little extra service I asked him to perform on the door, which I had not discussed with Bryce. The bitter cold had played havoc with our garage door, which came off its track, but we were saved by the Overhead Door Company,. They were able to send a mechanic the very next day. Jon Amos was terrific, worked all day in the cold, and got the garage door working again. And a very nice guy as well, a pleasure to deal with. The bill for everything was surprisingly modest. We received prompt, excellent customer service on the Monday following the weekend failure of a garage door spring. We decided to also replace the 21 year-old opener and outside keypad at the same time, taking advantage of a 10% discount. Our installer, T.J., thoroughly explained repairs made and the operation of the new door opener and accessories. He also successfully programmed one of our vehicles remote opener buttons, completing a complicated process in only a few minutes. Overhead Door was referred by our bathroom renovation contractor who was having or had doors replaced for his two detached garages. The ads on the radio also helped with my decision to call OHD. Bottom line: I am not in the least disappointed about any aspect of their responsiveness and quality of service. Kevin provided a reasonable quote and James the service technician was prompt, expeditious and left the work area cleaner than he probably found it. I strongly recommend this fine company to anyone in need of garage door service.

Really bad customer service experience. I needed an overlay for my garage door window and was told by the tech who came out that I would hear back on availability of the overlay later that day. It took several days of me calling them to finally get it ordered. Every time I called, I was told Id be called back later in the day and it never happened. My overlay was supposed to be in on a Friday and when I called to check, I was told it would be another week. A week later, it still hadnt appeared (I had to call myself to find this out, the unresponsiveness was consistent), and I was told they had no answers for me. Needless to say, I am very unhappy and disappointed in the incompetence and complete lack of professionalism. I would never recommend this company to anyone.

We had several issues with two of our garage doors and Justin was able to solve all of our problems. Justin called before coming to the house with an anticipated arrival time, explained what he thought might be causing the problems and then proceeded to repair the garage door openers. Our repair man arrived promptly, was very polite, and reset the door limits. He explained the cause of the door problem. He was even able to get the work done under warranty, since the opener was installed about a year ago.

The top section of one of our garage doors started cracking at the point of contact of the opening device due to the door getting stuck closed after heavy rains. The technician, David, quickly swapped out the upper panel from a third, unpowered door with the damaged door and fixed the problem and saved me the cost of another door, and the pain of matching the paint on the replacement.
