Thieves and liars. Paid up front for gas, now they refuse to deliver it.Driver sat at my house, on camera, for 10 minutes and never attempted to deliver, then made some excuse about a dog (which never came near him) and left, with my gas. Now Travis at customer service refuses to schedule a delivery, and acts like he cant hear me and hangs up when I try to escalate the issue.
Thompson Gas has been a nightmare to deal with. They first offered a wonderful price and then in the same day rescinded it stating I was not part of the group in my neighborhood. When questioned they said the leader of the group did not want me in the group????? Thompson Gas did not match the group price despite the fact I live next door to someone in the group and five houses down from the leader of the group. When i asked what the rules of the group were - ie how do I get in, I was referred to the leader of the group. This man runs this group like his personal fiefdom. He discriminates on who can participate in the group based on his own whims, how can that be in this day and age - blatant discrimination and Thompson gas is complicit, Those of us not allowed in the group approached Thompson Gas about starting our own group. they gave us a good price - almost as good as the large group. We were all set, had eleven families all ready to start our group and in the same afternoon Thompson Gas came back and said they could not offer us the price they quoted and increased the price by forty cents per gallon. What is going on here?
I spent 12 years as a service technician for a very large, national propane company. When I left, I changed over to Thompson Gas. They DESTROYED the prices I received at my former company, even with an employee discount. Their will call service has always been quicker than expected. I have recommended them to everyone I know. Professional, courteous, fast and incredible pricing.
Working with Thompson Gas staff was a pleasure. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, delivery was within the window of time expected. Even better, we can lock in a price for the entire year when propane prices are at its lowest! You cant beat that! Smart move by Thompson gas. They might lose a bit as prices fluctuate during the winter months, but on flip side, they get a loyal customer.

Been getting my propane tanks filled here for years (Cambell). Today I pulled in to a sign on the door indicating office would open back up from lunch in another 10 min. Waited 25 min before someone arrived.They sat in their car another 5 min before getting out and going a side door waited another 5 min before I finally gave up. Time to find a new provider.
Great company to do business with over the last 7 years. Especially the staff in the office, always friendly and professional and willing to help out in any way.

Im already a fan of Thompson Gas service, yet this season with prices going up they amazed me by negotiating a lower price for a fixed number of gallons of propane. Thompson Gas, rocks!!!

They show up like clockwork and have always provided me with competitive rates when I ask them.
This supplier is agreeable when things are easy . . . but when push comes to shove they are NOT there for customers and no way to get in touch with someone who can help. The phones are answered by whatever office in a several state area has someone available with NO way of reaching your local office, NO information on delivery and NO follow-up. NO DELIVERY for more than 8 days now in the cold of winter. I have chosen to buy my propane here because it is a family operated business which I respect. Please management, evaluate and prepare better for the extremes of weather when heat is vitally needed.Now its August 6, 2018 in the heat of summer, and I was hoping for some improvement in customer service. NOT TO BE! Left waiting to speak with a representative for more than 10 minutes. Too inefficient to spend my time on anymore.
Very Disappointing Service ! We have been customers for 14 years now. Each year the service seams to drop another level.March of last spring we asked for our service to be put on as on call service. Than a month later they filled our tank for $500 that we didnt need.Than this October called to have our service but back on regular service for the winter. Ran out of Gas four days ago we ran out of GAS. We are told the it will be 5-7 days to get gas delivered . When asked was told service was on call. They show both calls I have make to them but NOTHING WRITTEN DOWN .So we get to boil water for baths, dishes and washing up. Sound like they have more customers than they can handle now.
Im under a compressed timeline for installation of new service. Tracy has gone above and beyond to help me make my deadline within my budget! Thanks Thompson!
