My regular place for shopping. Better than walmart and Lidl
My favorite go to place, no matter what city Im in. Good deals and great fresh groceries.
Good goods for their value.
Cheapest milk in town. They have good food for the price.
I really love ALDI. I never experience one of these stores until u was 28, and once I did I felt like u had been missing out my entire life. This ALDI is great. Everything is organized in a sensible manner. The produce is high quality, the meats are great and affordable. There is a decent variety of food. Checking out is always fast. The store never seems to be uncomfortably packed like many other stores in the area. And everything is VERY affordable. In the past Ive heard some of my friends complain about their cart situation. Personally I love it. The probability of a rogue cart flying through the parking lot and hitting my car has been reduced to their cart scheme. And honestly, quarters are not that hard to come by, and you get it back at the end so long as you are a decent human being.ALDI is the best place to get groceries in America.
Avoid this lady and her name is Shirley, she’s very nasty and disrespectful. The fact that she still works there speaks volume about Aldi and the management. She doesn’t talk and give customer service to certain races/people, but then laugh and have conversations with the next in line. She literally stands there and do not say a word to certain people and this means no “Hello” or “thank you.” It’s very sad that the managers let her get away with this because I’ve tried speaking to one of them about her nasty attitude.
I love this place. The workers here are true heroes. I see the same people working through the isolation. They have to put up with some of the worst people during the required masks and kept a smile on their face and a great attitude. I really appreciate all their work and will keep coming here.
Always great little finds.
Friendly staff all wearing masks and using hand sanitizer. They didnt seem to be disinfecting carts anymore and the cart cleaning station was empty. So bring your own wipes to be safe. Prices have increased slightly but still reasonable. Especially for fresh produce. Their meat and poultry are rather high. You can find a deal if you catch them at the right time.
Exelent
They have the German cheese and lunch meat my husband enjoys.
Not crowded. All employees wore masks properly and were polite.
New store, but expensive compare to other aldi, employees cannot control
Nice clean store and friendly staff
Prices & product selection all great- service is awful. Employees are not friendly at all. I asked 3 different people a question and they all replied with the same attitude. As long as you are willing to sacrifice service while shopping for less value- this is the place to do it.
Prices are much better, but thats pointless if the produce purchased starts rotting 1-2 days after purchase, or worse - on the shelves growing things! Lately Im finding I have to check everything thoroughly for freshness, whether its poultry, fruit, vegetables, or milk.3/10/2020: Changing from 2 to 5, because I after checking dates on everything over the last few weeks, all is fresh again. Still recommend checking before you buy, but otherwise a store worth frequenting.
I love the location its very convenient to shop here prices are always good service is relatively quick very simple cost-effective way to save money on groceries.
Aldi is owned by the same German parent company that owns Trader Joes. The pricing is ridiculous, so much so it has cut my grocery budget in HALF! Be forewarned though... all Aldi stores are not created equal. The store on Liberia has a gallon of milk for $1.88 (yes, you read that right) but the Dumfries Aldi (directly across the street from Walmart on Route 1) sells their milk for .89 per gallon. You must come prepared though..1. Bring a quarter! First thing you will notice is that there are no carts littering the parking lot. How do they do this? you ask yourself. The carts are chained together and it takes a quarter to separate each one. When you return the cart to the cart chain, you get your quarter back.2. interestingly enough the prices vary greatly from store to store as in my milk example. Avocados in Frednecksburg are $1 but in Dumfries and Manassas they are $1.49 ($1.29 at Food Lion).3. Everything I have ever purchased at Aldi has been awesome with one exception... the Egg Nog during the holidays, that stuff is NASTY.4. The take and bake pizzas are also phenomenal and come in a plethora of types and are so large they hang off the edges of my pizza stone (that I purchased from Aldi 6+ years ago)5. BYOB... Bring Your Own Bags, or you can find the designated carts to get empty food boxes to put your purchase in. I carry my food to my car in my cart and when I get home grab my reusable food bags to carry the food into the house.6.Aldi is not just food... nope, in one section of the store they have seasonal offerings. In the spring I purchase Cypress Mulch (is a natural bug inhibitor) for something ridiculous like $2 a bag.
Due to this pandemic in the United States of America I understand why managers at grocery stores are taking extra precaution area measures. But I work 16 hour shifts 6 days a week. I have not been able to do much shopping during this crisis. Not only that but may I refrain from the manager coming up to me at the front of the grocery store taking two gallons of water from me and saying Im only limited to only two.Not even putting a sign near the water and saying you can only grab two per Family household each visit. If there was one Im sorry I was mistakenly wrong I didnt see it. Another thing theres a bunch of community members around the area that are actually shopping for other people like the elderly the poor and the homeless. If I have to show proof of documentation I am shopping for other family members such as my 90 year old grandmother, infants that need water to drink formula, or being kicked out because you rented a basement and the homeowners are freaking out of the spread of the virus and now youre living out of your car. Now I find it very disrespectful I didnt even have a cart I use my own two hands and also he had a co-worker on the first register without wearing latex gloves but every other co-worker was and when I asked her why she wasnt wearing any she said she was allergic to latex. Now if Im wrong correct me but theres also plastic gloves so not only your store your company your manager the one that decided to viciously come up to me and take 2 gallons of water off of my shoulder because all your other motherfukers in this country and this state had the opportunity to buy everything and put everybody in worry leave everybody with nothing. He cant even protect his own coworker let alone is supposedly the safety of others because not only see touching all the other items that everybody else is touching but shes also putting it in my f****** basket that I am taking to my car that I am taking to my f****** home so the next time you pull some s*** like that Im going to punch him in the f****** mouth straight up
Amazing prices and good selection.
This store needs to do a better job in helping their customers. Whenever I ask if they could go look for something in the stock room, all they do is just make up excuses!!!! Im in a period where Im overweight and I feel unattractive, and I can tell they just take one look at me and dont want to help based on how I look. Im a human being as well, and a whole lot nicer than other people Ive come across. I spend maybe $400-$500 a month a this store. The least you can do is look in your stock room because if worked there I would do my job and try to help you.
My favorite value grocery store. You have to be a picky shopper but they have good meats decent fruits and off and on vegetables. Watch for the specials in the Mailer as well as the special buys in the center aisle. The markdown red stickers have some awesome deals when the have them out
Aldi is my favorite grocery store. But they run out if the weekly specials way too soon!!
Aldi very disingenuous setting sale items from your ad out a day early. There is no way you did not know that people in line this morning were waiting for the pool. Store manager said he had to put them out the day before because he had space on shelf. However He did not have too and especially an item he knew was going to be very popular. Waited in line almost an hour in the sun, to find out all pools were sold out. Which was wierd since I was the first one in libe
This ALDI location is clean and well stocked. Their prices are competitive. They will provide boxes just for the asking. Its helpful to bring your own grocery sacks. I believe you can still unlock a cart outside for a $.25 deposit. There is ample parking out front. Good fresh fruit selection and special values. Cheese is well priced although the selection may be limited.
I love this place! Best prices on everything ever and I have never tried a product I didnt like! Easy to shop, not a lot of choices but everything a family needs to eat well and do well. Quick in and out because there arent 30 different kinds of everything. Best shopping experience ever.
The always have great deals and their produce are always fresh which is a nice deal because they are as cheap or cheaper than Wal-Mart.The other big one for us is cheese a big variety to be had on the budget.Their meat deals are hit or miss you have to pay attention to the weekly advertisements and compare to other stores.I would highly recommend stopping by if you are budget conscious.
Extremely rude and disrespectful staff. Night shift is worst. Staff too busy trying to close then to provide basic customer service.
Amazing & Wonderful place to shop at ...... always find most of our basic needs and then a little some and a few surprises.Besides the amazingly low prices, great specials, great quality the next best thing is the Culture at Aldis, the employees ALL seem so engaged & Hustle all the time like a Team !! The parking lots tend to stay clutter free because a Quarter is all it takes for the Customers to return their carts to a cart corral. And Customers seem to be friendlier and courteous to one another in many ways. And the culture of bringing ones own bags is environmentally friendly.
Great quality, great prices! Start your shopping here and then pick up what you cant find somewhere else. Eggs less than $0.30 a dozen in January 2017. All the house brand (there is very little name brand product in the store) products have been excellent quality.Meat prices and quality have been good too. Selection is less than other grocery stores.
Basic grocery store. Reminiscent of Bottom Dollar. Basic food, not much brand variety, cheap prices. Good value. Surprising number and type of gluten free products. Ill go back!
Good prices different selection of foods, better then name brands sometimes
Staff here is lovely. Very helpful. Place is fully stocked usually. Patrons are a bit sketchy.
Never been there before but employees were nice. All we needed was a phone charger but they didn’t have what we needed. Grocery prices looked great though.
Love the updated renovations and new selections available. Best place to get organic produce and fruits at a reasonable price. Although a pretty standard selection well worth the quarter for the shopping cart!
The only way aldis could be better is if they took coupons still competitively priced good sales each week. I definitely buy in bulk here even though its not a warehouse store.
Of course the price is great, we expect that by now. But I am impressed again and again, and keep coming back.
Store is clean and prices are reasonable. The lication is good with good amount of public parking spaces. Got a Dollar Tree next to it as well.
I love this place.
Nice staff here. Aldi is not meant to have everything for everyone. Go in with appropriate expectations: cheap staples and reasonably priced selected produce to stock up on. You will not complete your shopping list here, but everything you can get will be low priced, so its worth the stop.
Not as many options as other Aldis. There seemed a limited supply and far more cramped aisles. I do like Aldi but I prefer the one located on Jefferson. The layout is easier to navigate and more fresh fruit options.
Good place to shop for low price food. The lines are aways long and I hate how they throw stuff in my basket. I dont care how busy the place is. The cashier know what type of job theyre are getting into before starting.
I Love Aldi ! Over the years they have had inventory issues. It seems to getting worse. It may be a result of expansion and changes it their business model. I hope that this can be resolved.
Store seemed pretty messy. Not what I was used to seeing at this store. Only 1 person on floor trying to fix the fresh veggie section given it was the biggest mess. Lines were okay in time spent waiting. This was not my normal experience at this store.
I love Aldis, they have amazing prices and while everything might not be name brand it taste really good. My family and I shop here often and I always encourage my friends and family to do the same. We have been able to cut our grocery expenses in half because of Aldi.
I like Aldi for certain things. Bread, milk, eggs, pickles, fresh strawberrie, coffee and lettuce. Unbeatable prices on these things. Other things I have found better deals on. Lines are always way to long. I have adjusted to bringing my own bags but I dont like having to bag for myself. Staff is generally friendly.
Service is friendly and fast. I love this store!
I used to love this store, but since the remodel and re-grand opening I dont like it as much. Less selection and less deals. Turning into more of a Trader Joes and I preferred the more warehouse type store.
Great selections and prices. Maybe they could make some money on prepared food, and fruits like fresh figs, etc.
Good selection of foods and wonderful prices. The staff is friendly and active. We recommend Aldi to family and friends.
All stores have to follow Aldi. good store nice 👌 clean and the best thing they dont keep all that plastic bags 👌🏽 you have to get your own bags or buy it
After re-opening this store looks like an average american grocery store... unfortunately it lost its European features I and a lot of people loved... The prices are still great. Visit the store for some interesting products mostly from Germany.
I love this aldi everyone is always so freaking nice
Best place to shop and save alot of money when you shop at Aldi cant find a better place to save money on your shopping
Clean, organized, and easy to get around. Never have too many issues with not walking out of the store with things not on my list.
You cannot beat the prices. First experience with Aldi was when we were overseas in Germany. Glad they are here in the USA now.
I love Aldis. They have a great selection of affordable meats and some that are preseasoned. That are delicious. My only issue is that they normally only have one cashier and it takes them awhile to have another.
I love Aldis. The products are always freshThe employees are friendly and helpful. The prices are great.
Great quality food. Wonderful price!! Geared towards families. We dont go anywhere else. We LOVE ALDI
This is the place to go for the best priced local produce. Everything is affordable here, from the occasional .60 cents 12 pack of eggs to the .80 cent loaf of bread. GLUTEN FREE options all over the store!! I love how clean and organized this Aldi is. Customer service is amazing, they are always so helpful! I love visiting Aldi! 😍💕
I like the prices one of my favorite places to shop for groceries at
First time at an Aldi. It was like a Lidl that wasnt as nice or happy. I dont carry change so the whole put in a quarter to use a cart thing was a big turn off for me. Cashier seemed sorry to be there. I would go back if I had to.
This Aldi is bigger with more products than the one on Sudley.
Love the Aldi. Remodeled store. Incredible value. Easy to stop in for a few items. Bring grocery bags and quarters for your shopping cart!
So small but some good choices for foods. Love that they carry organic in a few foods.
They have great prices on all sorts of products. Way cheaper than other places like Walmart or shoppers. The only problem is the lines might be a bit long at times.
Lots of some cheap basic food stuff. Most are similar to name brand products. They accept credit cards now too. Didnt used to do that.
Small grocery store with good prices and excellent customer service.
Very clean, really good selection, and a dozen eggs for 46 cents. Will definitely shop here again. Friendly staff.
Favorite store ever! So quick and great products. I save so much and get better products.
Despite the crowd, the lines moved pretty fast. I found exactly what I needed at a lower price than most stores.
You can find some really good deals here!
The nicest Aldi, clean and organized store, staff friendly and helpful.
Love this place ❤️ takes a bit of time to understand the layout but after that its smooth sailing!!
Solid choices and yummy German treats...
Great prices on all but meats. Bring a returnable quarter for the shopping cart and bags for your purchases.(They sell bags for$ .06, I think.)
Our main grocery store. Theres a great selection here, and we are normally able to get most of what my family needs. The prices are wonderful, but the lines are sometimes long.
Nice place... was good on Price before remodeling, After remodel prices went up high, Also after a week of sale they are selling for half the price instead they can sell at nominal price always which will be awesome.
Great prices on milks (whole, 1%,2 %), better than Harris Teeter, Walmart and Costco near by.
If you need some good cheap food Aldi is the place to go just dont forget the quarter you need to get a cart.
Loved!! Best Aldi Ive been to so far. So clean! Lots to choose from. Very well organized.
Disappointed in this store in particular... I love Aldi in general, but, this one is a whole mess. Rotting fruit just left out to rot more, products out of place, signage missing, and huge gaps on the shelves. The cashier was polite, so, theres that, I guess.
Inexpensive, quality food. I buy most of my food at Aldis. Great tasting, quality food. I recommend this store to everyone.
Have lots of gluten free foods at a good price and taste.
Great prices. Love the imported cheeses.
Love the prices and varietyBe sure to bring bags for your groceries and a quarter for the cart (you do get the quarter back...)
Neat and clean, great prices on quality food and drink. Except the beer. Dont bother. The wines are great, though!
Bring your own bags. The wine here has won awards and the prices are through the floor low.
Great new store set up and isles are different. Great neat store
Great prices, products just as great.
Amazing food, nice clean layout as well as pleasing to the eye, very nice prices, and nice employees. Overall an amazing place.
Great prices on brands Ive never heard of.
The best place to get value for your money.
Really like the store since the remodeling. Nice selection fabulous prices.
Always my favourite for food and grocery
Too cold in here. I did not finished shopping coz I was freezing cold I have to get out in the middle of my grocery shopping.
Nice new store. But they need more than one persons on the cash register
