Lots of flags! And surprise! Surprise! There is no Vietnamese flag. It is understandable given the sentiment of the local Vietnamese.They sell cheaper stuff than those from Korea markets.

If you are visiting or moving to the area from anywhere in the world you should definitely stop by this store. If you cant find an item at any store here in the U.S that you always found in your home country, look for it here. They have every grocery merchandise native to your country that you wont find at other stores. Their name GLOBAL really applies to them! Store item sufficiency and quantity is pleasing however, little work should be done by them in improving cleanliness of some areas in the store!

Grocery store with all the normal items youd find in any, with a larger ethnic selection. Good prices! Aisles are wide, and well lit. But the place does not look immaculately maintained. Lean on staff. Lean on seasonal items- (didnt see much in the way of Halloween items). Has a warehouse type vibe.

Probably the most underrated grocery store around. Their spice selection alone is worth the trip but they have an amazing selection of produce as well. Chicken and pork are well represented as well as some more exotic fare like rabbit and duck but their beef is a little scarce. I wouldnt go here for steak or chuck roast but oxtail or fajita meats are abundant.

I haven’t been here in a while, but I remember it well as I went regularly, for a time..I want to say that the selection in the store, especially for Asian products, is the best I’ve seen. And the prices were good too, I like Hmart but too expensive and selection is not as good.However, there was a problem with the seafood section stinking up the whole store. Seafood should not smell that bad, and the smell even permeated the fresh produce. I cooked zucchini from there and could taste the seafood section smell and had to just throw it away. Waste :( it was like one big refrigerator where something has gone bad and making all of the food have foul odor and taste. I don’t know if the problem has been resolved but it’s a sign of very bad sanitation practices in the meat and seafood departments and that could make people sick. It goes without saying that the chicken legs were good quality except they too had the smell.I hope they have fixed the problem, if so. I would give this place 5 stars for sure👍👍

This is a hard review because while this hidden gem of a grocery store does have a better meat and chicken selection than say Giant, and the seafood section is literally half the back wall, the cleanliness of this place is gross. You walk in and you can feel the E-coli in the air. Now the quality of the food has been good and you cant beat the selection and prices for meat, but the smell and grossness of the actual store makes me feel like Im going to get sick. The men in the Fish/Seafood Dept. is very rude and disrespectful. I asked about the price I was given for fish because it was different from what I was told. Another man came and increased the price higher than the first price, and when I told him I was higher, he took the fish and said its not my problem. He was rude, disrespectful and said he was not going to sale me the fish. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced.

For me. I like it better than Oh! Market. A lot more different produce, buckwheat, stuff the other doesnt have. This is where Ill be shopping from now on. HUGE PLUS, they have Idaho spuds. The only place in VA I think. Ditto on buckwheat. Not one other store has it here.

I loved this place, it has an extensive variety of products from many countries. The vegetables, fruits and drinks are fresh and the prices are excellent. The cafeteria is a dream, the girls who prepare the meals are very friendly and keep the place very clean. Also the meals are delicious. Its like being back in Chicago! Great oxtails sliced way we want. Same with goat. Fresh fruit and veggie selection is awesome. Worth the hours drive. People should pay more attention to how they drive and park, though.

I bought royal basmati brown rice from this store. I found live bug in the rice. when I went to the store for an exchange or refund, the manager of the store (Richard) threw the rice bag in the trash can and walked away without exchanging or giving me a refund. I had really bad experience.

This Store has a very large variety of Latin and Asian Foods.

Multi Culture Market. Produce and vegetable selection much better than most grocery stores. Meat selection is the same, more vast selection. Prices are not bad at all - no complaints. They offer many selections as name brand grocers which is the one area you have to be conscious of cost. Shop smart. Also, because they are multicultural they offer items like rice & beans in much larger sizes than normal grocery stores.

This is my go to place for fish and fresh vegetables.

Prices are good. Not much Indian products. Carts are very dirty. You feel like not going in to the store looking at their carts.

I really dont know why this store is still open its so dirty and you really have to be careful on the items you buy always check the expiration date. A lot of the meat is black cause its so old. I think the only kind if ok is the vegetable and fruit.

I always find fresh produce at Global Food Market. They have an array of ethnic foods and similar condiments. A little secret is the mini restaurant in the back with delicious food at a poor mans prices.

Dirty, Rude Cashiers, Non-English Speakers,Been around Northern Virginia area and Global Food Manassas for a long time, but this place is got to the dirtiest international store I have been to in my whole life. It got better then before but recently its becoming a filthy place to shop. Especially the produce and the cash registers. Literally, a rat can live in this place. And Especially the cashiers are the worse here. They are always busy and occupied on their phones that they will call while they are working. and, it seems like the management is clueless to whats going on. You cant see any improvements on the management side, but they did fix the Global Food light outside! Good at fixing nonessential things!Bottom Line is, if the company is not FOR the customers, if your cashiers are not FOR the customers, and if your customer service isnt able to assist FOR the customer, your not worth my money and time.Shop at Mega Mart or H-Mart. Big improvements and better shopping experience. Give these inexperienced business a lesson.

Big market. As the name says, its a real global market. What I like the most is fresh seafood varieties. All goods are at reasonable price.

We always have a pleasant experience at Global Food. The gentleman arranging the shopping carts outside is very helpful with customers, cashiers are also friendly.

My first impression was not so good. Place was dirty and smelled really bad. It had expired or almost expired food . I went there January 7 and the deli section had products expired and dated December 28 and January 4...smh.. most of their milk had a 5 day shelf life left.

When was the last time the health department paid a visit to this store. This fresh fish case is a mess and appears that the last time it was thoroughly cleaned was 2 years ago. The floor is dirty. Scales all over the sneeze guard. Jelly like substance appears to be blood floating at the front of the case They cover the fish nightly and uncover it in the morning with flushing the debris from the day. Its time that they CLEANED THIS PLACE UP!!!

Ive been coming to global food for all my special food needs for years. Anything from Hispanic, asian and Indian ingredients global has it all. Although some items are overpriced but I believe it is justified considering most items in global food are hard to find in your regular grocery store. I highly recommend everyone checks out global food at least once just to experience all the different cultural food options that can be attained there

You can find ingredient of many/any cultural to prepare an authenic meal. Fresh vegetables and fruits along with meats and seafood.

I like the store because I love fresh food (vegetables) other than that I was shopping went I so this guys just removed the label off the freezing food and put a new one with a different expiration date! I ask the guys, Why they do that? And they just laughed and told me theirs boss tell them to do it. Since that day I only go for my veggies and fruits

I have been shopping at this Global Foods for years for certain products like rice flour, chili oil and dried dates. I recently purchased a case of 12 containers of Dried Dates. We use them in production of energy bars. When we opened the container to use them there was a strong smell of fermentation. The expiration date on each container was 2020. I returned them to the store and spoke to the manager. His reason for not exchanging them was, Our policy is that returns must be made within one week after purchase. No consideration was given for being sold a spoiled product. I WILL NOT BE SHOPPING HERE AGAIN!
