TL;DR Service was exceptional, would use KCS again. Our old water heater died on Wednesday, Anibal and Dave? (sorry dad brain) were able to come out same day to give us an inspection and a quote. We agreed to replace our water heater and upgrade to a 75-gallon capacity, it was a very competitive price. The guys were able come back Friday and get it installed. They arrived on time and were very efficient. At one point they encountered a problem getting the big boy 75-gallon water heater through the sliding door. They were able to remove the door and get it in. Once the tank was in, the install went very smoothly. They did an awesome job redoing some of the pipe work. I was very satisfied and inquired about their maintenance programs. I will definitely keep KCS in mind for other jobs in the future.

Dan and Melvin of KCS installed a new AC condenser and coil to replace our old system. KCS was prompt and on time, and the work was performed neatly. The price was competitive with other companies. KCS office staff was very responsive.

I never do 5 star ratings but this was ss good as it gets. On time, professional, friendly, and thorough. Had a rather tricky situation with two separate compounding wiring problems. They diagnosed and fixed both problems in a timely manner at a reasonable cost.

KCS is great! When I call they always send someone out right away and fix my issue. They are professional and courteous.

We had a leak in our ceiling from the ac unit during a super hot week recently. We called KCS after they were referred to us by a friend who went to school with the owner Neal. “Call Neal, he’s a great guy, you won’t be disappointed”. I’m glad I took my friends advice. They sent a tech out the next day to trouble shoot our system. He diagnosed a clogged drain line and fixed that and even put in a clean out for the trap which should have been done by the previous installer. Unfortunately, our AC had bigger problems that became apparent and it turns out the system had a refrigerant leak which was causing the system to freeze and then melt causing excessive water build up and is probably why we had the original leak. So, we had to get a new AC since the old one was R 22 and had been phased out. Anibal helped us figure out what system would be best for us. They even topped of our system to try and get us through until the installation could take place.Yesterday, Brian and Carlos came out to install our new system and we couldn’t be happier with how things turned out. They were both punctual, professional, and did great work. You could tell they cared about doing the job correctly. And our house is cool again!!Everyone that we dealt with at KCS took the time to answer our questions and make sure we understood what was going on with our old system and with the install of the new system. I also appreciated receiving texts letting me know when techs would arrive and that we never wasted any time waiting around for a people to show up. I highly recommend KCS!

KCS sent tech, at my request, to check temperature differentiation for top floor of 4 story townhouse. Tech was very thorough, very helpful and very knowledgeable. He provided exactly the information I was looking for. Every interaction we’ve had with KCS has been awesome. From scheduling, to installation, and service they continue to deliver great customer service!

We had a problem with the unit freezing up on us. The technician walked me through every step of what he was doing and did a very thorough job. He could have very easily told us we needed a lot of parts to fix it, but told us we had a damper that was completely closed. This being the first multi level house we have owned I didnt even know we had dampers. He then explained how to adjust them for different seasons. Very good job and I will recommend them to everone.

Dan Morris did a complete inspection of our system after a technician from another company told us we needed thousands of dollars of repairs or a new system at $11,000. Three days later, Dan told us our system was in almost perfect condition and that we did not need anything. -- not even refrigerant because none had leaked. He did not charge us for this, but he saved us thousands. We are going to sign up for a maintenance contract with KCS. What a joy to deal with!

This was our first maintenance check after having KCS install our new system last year. Got next day appt, got text indicating on this way and was in the window assigned. He took precautions to keep us all safe which is appreciated. He got things cleaned up and checked, went above & beyond checking some vents and my attic fan and was so patient helping me understand why we were having some struggles in our home with air flow. The system is working great and we have a plan for some changes we can make if needed. KCS and Anibal for the win.

We had Matt M do a diagnostic check on our air conditioning system and he was awesome. He communicated throughout his work and provided us with several options. Matt’s transparency relating to both the repair process and pricing was great! We were so grateful KCS Heating and Air was able to diagnose a faulty capacitor and replace it on the spot. The technician was knowledgeable, efficient, and friendly. I hope we never need another emergency AC repair in the middle of a heat wave, but if we do, I know who to call!

A strong gas odor was discovered by Washington Gas this weekend, coming out of my exhaust vent. They turned off the gas to my house which meant I had no heat. I immediately called KCS. Matt, the technician, arrived on time and was extremely professional and kind. He immediately knew what my concerns and heating issue were. He quickly diagnosed what the issue was. He ran a diagnostic and a few tests and fixed my problem. He was very knowledgeable and knew what he was doing. Matt immediately made me feel very comfortable and explained what had happened. He triple check to make sure the unit was back up and running and that I was comfortable with his assessment. He also confirmed that the strong gas odor was gone and being burned properly. I have used KCS and every time I am more than please and happy with their work, technicians, and office staff! Thank you KCS, you guys are the best!

KCS sent Anibal to come out and look at our system. Two other companies had come out and just chalked up the broken system to it being old. Anibal came out and actually spent time actually finding the problem. He got it working again and explained the possibilities for what might be causing it to go out. When I asked for a quote for a new system, his quote was less than 3 other companies. There is a reason this company has a 5.0 on Google and Facebook!

Called the office and Leanne set me up same day. The tech came out and was extremely professional, he even put on slippers when I told him he didnt have too. He explained the issue in simple terms and was able to fix it while he was there. He told me what to look out for and gave me his cell if I had any questions. I was very impressed with KCS.
