Terrific experience here. These guys gave me generous trade-in value on some used instruments, which I put toward a new/used acoustic. Great guys running the shop, and they treated me with great care and understanding the whole way. I cant say enough about what a positive buying experience I had here.
In the past couple months I’ve bought everything from a guild acoustic to a vox ac30 from evolution. Both of these products, plus everything in between, have all been in great condition and sound fantastic. Their inventory changes fairly often and it’s always nice to see what new things they’ve gotten in every couple of weeks. Along with great products, the staff knows what they’re talking about and are happy to help. They even offer trade ins and store credit, and are willing to negotiate price. Whether I’m looking for strings or a whole new guitar, this is always my go to shop.
Awesome, never know what new stuff theyll have, they buy lots of used gear, great staff
Fantastic guitarI’m Ecstatic
Great experience. Very clean communication and fast turnaround.
Great local music store. Early on during the pandemic, when the store was closed, I was still able to get music supplies through mobile ordering. Now that they’ve reopened everything is great. They are taking all the necessary precautions and I felt very safe. Things are clean and well organized and the workers had masks on even before I was in the store. I’ve been there three times in the last month and this has been my experience each time.
I love the variety in choices and services and the expert help here. Always great customer service and a clean building. A gem of a store that Im glad I found. Worth the drive.
Very clean environment. The man behind the counter was very knowledgeable and answered every question I had, definitely a must go if your a musician. Keep up the good work.
Clerk was not wearing a mask until he saw me come in. I tried to gently make him aware that he could have been spreading the virus thru the store before he put his mask on. He didnt seem to care. Sorry to say I wont go back, because I do not feel safe there.
Great store. Im so glad a place like this is right down the street. Id give more stars if I could.
Good selection of ukuleles, from cheap entry level models, middle level Kala and Lanikai, to higher end Pono ukes, this store has about the best selection in northern VA. Friendly helpful staff, and their prices are very competitive. Worth the drive to Manassas! My Kala KA-TG is an entry level wooden tenor, but sounds great!
Pretty solid ukulele selection. Went in, staff was very accommodating and friendly. Enjoyed the kind and non-confrontational chat about cost, which set it in my comfort range without having to nitpick about my personal qualms on why I might like or not like qualities of a particular instrument.Walked away with a great instrument at an impressive price point. Will go out of my way to come back.
I bought a nice trumpet mute by them and they were very nice to me the store is bigger than you think, and if any bass guitar players are out there, yes they got bass’s like 7 or 8. Great service!!!
Great little music shop. You can find the range of instruments of a big box store with local advice. Highly recommend.
NOVA music store donated 12 pairs of drum sticks to charity, and so these 5 stars are for their gracious donation. Really appreciate them doing that.
Very helpful to assist with a speedy flute repair.
This place will brag about their ability to repair anything that beeps. Unfortuanley for me, I took an Oud here to just put strings in it, the guy claimed they could do it and I was surprised b/c I have been looking around and I could find no one. They are a cheat, simply putting some random strings in the oud and I was just glad to get my instrument back in one piece. I would not trust this place b/c they say they can do things that have no clue about. The first time they tried to give me the oud back the strings did not look evenly done, so I left it. The next time I went there, I just was glad to get my instrument in one piece. Wasted 3 weeks and $$$ for nothing. Poorly run by a bunch of kids.
Friendly staff and got a good deal on what I was looking for
Stopped by NOVA music center in Manassas VA, WOW, what an awesome store, to say the least. The staff was super friendly, knowledgeable and made me feel like family. The selection of Ukes is better than I have ever seen in a Store Front, bar none. They also seem very community oriented, while there I was invited to an acoustic Jam every Friday and then they also host Blues Jams, Bluegrass jams and singer/songwriters workshops. I also notice they have a recording studio, talked to the Sound engineer and they offer great prices and a very laid back atmosphere. Would recommend this store to anyone that asks, much nicer than Guitar Center and very knowledgeable staff. I will definitely be back, now consider this my Go To music shop in Northern VA..
Always knowledgeable, helpful and friendly.
Bought a cheap uke and plan to get a banjo from them soon. Great shop!
Do they have any Presidents’ Day sales ?
