Everyone at the shop was very kind and knowledgeable. I had never bought a bike before. When I told them what I was working for they showed me two different options and let me take both around the block to see which one I liked best. They also helped me pick out the accessories that would fit the bike and my needs best and installed them for me. They also adjusted the seat and handle bars to fit so I could ride it right out of the store. Probably the easiest shopping experience Ive had.

Went to have a chain link taken out and ask them to possibly fix my back break so when we picked it up it was fixed but they said they didnt do it. So that tells me the magic bike fairies snuck in and fixed it themselves. Lol

Today is October 30th Saturday 2:40 pmI was on the phone with another owner of the store and he was trying to cost me 15$ extra then the other owner just to change my tire and put air in it 45$ for s kids bike ? I’m really disappointed and sad to say I was thinking about buying 4 bikes this day for my little ones BUT DEFFINTLY NOT SPENDING IVER 1,000$ at this shop

After going to two big super stores, and one other bike shop, The Bike Barn was the only place that had a bike for my 11y/o son! They were very friendly and helpful! If you need repairs they do them as well.

Had such a great experience with The Bike Barn. Originally saw one of their beautiful Huffy bikes on Craigslist and wanted it immediately. The original price for it was $199, but I offered $150 and they took it because they knew how badly I wanted the bike. With the shortage of bikes around and the popularity of these kind of cruisers, I was super lucky to find a bike in such great shape. I talked to Pat on the phone and he was extremely nice and is clearly very loyal to his customers. He had many people calling and offering him full price for the bike, but he had turned them down because he had already promised me the bike!!! That’s a professional business right there!!!! The two hour drive to get the bike was extremely worth it and I would drive that again to buy another bike from them! The bike was all tuned up and ready to go by the time I got there and the owner, Tom, was extremely nice and very professional. Definitely recommend this place!!! Thanks again!!!!

Sent in my bike for a grocery list of repairs last week. The line was down the street so I knew they were backed up with orders, I was prepared to wait a while regardless.They had my bike ready to go 5 days early from their estimate. Very inexpensive for what most shops charge.Highly recommended!

I dont really have too much to say. Really! This is how boring this place was. I mean they got stuff, well, just like Walmart. Thing is it is all the stuff you dont want and ask the things you need they dont have, unless you could afford a car / bicycle payment. People are nice though cute dog very comfy they were very cautious about the 19. I wish I had there enthusiasm to be in a rush to leave but Im just a southern boy I take my time.The sad reality in strong statement was put this way we dont have your part but you can buy the whole bike. Word!! Or order it off the internet yourself And wait for express shipping which is like 3 weeks or more nowadays? Sit at home by yourself wait for it.. Put it together and then ride your own bike by yourself keep your distance.

Must love dogs! I was immediately greeted by their dog that wanted to play fetch. A real sweetheart. As a bike mechanic it was great to talk shop and geek out over their vintage bicycle collection. The shop owner and his son, I presume, took the time to answer all of my questions. They have a great selection of Specialized bikes and accessories. I owned my own business for 11 years in manchester nh I know what good customer service is. I have been doing business with the bike barn since the mid 90s. I recently brought my 2 Mt Bikes in for service. They were fixed promptly, tested, and were returned to me in a matter of a few days. I was told by others that they were not repairable and to buy 2 new bikes. They are now as good as new thanks to the boys at the bike barn and at a very small cost. I will continue to do business at the bike barn for another 25 years. they are the best.

Bought a new Mountain bike here... new to the sport so my knowledge hasn’t caught up to my excitement yet. After purchasing the bike and riding it a couple of times I realized it felt a bit big for me. I brought that bike in told them the issue. They exchanged the larger bike for the next size down and 15 minutes later I’m out the door with a properly sized bike. Great customer service!!!! Would recommend anyone looking for a bike to try this place out first!

Awesome shop with a fun location in the Manchester mill buildings. The bikes and gear are a little too pricey for a casual biker like me but the repair service is very reasonable. They are knowledgeable and do an excellent job.

Needed to get a bike rack for my 87 Toyota MR2 which is not a car that manufacturers have in mind when they are designing bike racks. The people at Bike Barn in Manchester where extremely helpful in finding/ test fitting bike racks that would work. Ended up getting a Saris Bones 3 bike rack and was very happy with the customer service I received. Store is very nice as well with a great selection in all styles of bikes, derailleurs, pedals, gear and so on.

I stopped in at the abike Barn shop to get some suggestions on how to keep my chain from getting hung up underneath the support of my bike rack he looked at me like I had the plague told me flat-out he didnt work on electric bikes.I told him I was looking for advice and I need to buy a tool as well.He sold me the tool reluctantly and told that they wont work on ebites and they NEVER WILLso annoying and just a hair short of rude these purests.We all know what happened to the Puritans.

I purchased my first serious to me road bike a few weeks ago from them and enjoyed a stress free and insightful shopping experience. I was able to test ride numerous bikes by myself at my own pace. The feed back is not about your knowledge in bikes. it’s about your attitude.2. You said We spent significant time with questions.Can we quantity ? We asked questions for 15 minutes. That shows your tolerance level.3. you can’t deny service . That’s fine. Butsuddenly changing mood and I saying I won’t touch your bike, and taking bike keeping our side door and asking us to go and shutting the door on face.This is not called descent and civilized behavior.specially when we are only talking normal.After you suddenly changed your mood within 2 minutes we are out.Finally I feel being good person is more important then being good business man.if you cannot tolerate customer question and their anxiety to decide spend right amount, you should sit in back end and repair bikes, should not be in front office facing customers.The behavior is not acceptable .This is not feedback on your business knowledge and tactics.One last note: we never repeatedly asked to lower Tune up price. Only once we asked.We were only in dilemma $65 vs $35 trying to understand what we get for that

Went in with almost zero knowledge of full suspension bikes. came out knowing way more then i could have possibly thought. i have forgotten the young mans name who helped me but he knew everything under the sun about bikes. very helpful and gave awesome insight as too what to look for, for my next purchase. when the time comes i will almost certainly be buying from here. prices on bikes seem quite fair for the quality i could see. the amount of technology that has come since my last bike (bought in roughly 2007) is ridiculous!

We recently purchased two bikes from Bike Barn for our daughters. The sales person, Jay was VERY helpful. He listened to what my daughters were looking for and gave us a ton of options. I live on the Nashua, NH / Mass line on Rte 3. The closest bike shop is Goodales, yet I have decided to drive the extra 15 minutes to work with Eli and the great team at The Bike Barn. 1st, they are all very knowledgeable, yet have a much more comfortable, down to earth approach to servicing their customers. I have purchased 2 bikes (higher end Specialized and a kids specialized). In both cases they were cheaper than the local competition. Where they shine is in their service department. When I had a problem with my bike (I got a stick stuck in the derailer), they fixed it quickly and the price was very reasonable. I recently dropped off two kids bikes for tune ups. In both cases, the bikes required substantial work. I just picked them up today and they are both working great again. My boys are very happy... THANKS AGAIN ELI!

Underwhelmed. Sales staff uninterested in helping me decide between a Roll and Ariel... or even helping me at all. Too busy playing catch with the dog - the dog that ran into me and made my knee buckle.. Im a dog lover - as any of the dogs Ive owned over the years could attest - but cmon... you want to sell bikes? Then sell bikes! I bet the owner will deny this and say Im a troll from Florida but Im not... Im a bike shopper from Dover who will never visit the bike barn again! Save ur self time and trouble - go to Goodall in Hooksett - knowledgeable, professional and friendly... the way sales people should be.

I went to the Bike Barn two months ago. I was visiting a friend in town, who let me borrow his bike. Apparently my friend never rides his bike, because the tires were flat and the chain was rusty. I took it down to the Bike Barn, and asked to borrow a pair of tire levers so I could take the wheel off and inspect whether I needed to buy a new tube. One of the workers there scoffed at me and said, You can buy some levers! I then pumped the tires, which appeared to be doing alright. I then wanted to grease the chain, but I could tell that the employee was unhappy with me asking about the levers, so this time I offered to pay just to use the chain lube one time. And then, the employee scoffed at me -again- and said, You can buy a bottle of lube!Ive never experienced such rude behavior in a bike store before. I decided Id rather ride around with a rusty chain than patronize that shop again.

Great shop. if your looking for a shop that has that old style bike shop flair (all levels of bikes (including toddlers) and all kinds of parts). Then this is your go to shop. I have used high end shops but I have alwasy preferred the complete family style shop. People actually are riders and enthusiasts and not just a floor sales person trying to make you say ohhh and ahhh at every peace of tech in the attempt to create a desire or need where none existed before. I would not hesitate in have them do a custom build for me and dropping $10K on a ride....I know for a fact by the way these folks treated me (both young and older) my first time in, that I would never develop a sense of buyers remorse from any product, service or consultative suggestion that they would provide.

Went in asking for them to look at my bottom bracket making noise. They insisted it was the rear cog, replaced it and then needed to replace the bottom bracket. They offered to look at my brakes due to the wire being stretched and I declined.In this process of all of this they lost one of my brake pads. I called back stating they lost it and they said it never had brake pads. I ended up finding the missing pad in the greasy mess of original parts they gave to me in a shopping bag. I call back to tell them and the guy says ah you probably needed new ones anywayWill never shop here again.
