Called for a quote for tires for my car this morning, spoke to a very nice and professional guy, he said one of two guys would call me back with a few options. I missed the call and called right back. Conversation was terrible, I say I’m returning a call about a quote, got a voicemail two minutes ago. No hey how are you, I’m so and so. He’s like want to fill me in on what it’s about very blunt and unprofessional, keep in mind the same guy who left the voicemail. I explain it, then he was like what do you want? Tires.. is this really how you talk to customers? He was like there’s a bunch of stuff going on, which I can understand but to act like I’m not about to spend money and time going there. I’m never one to complain about service or anything really but I felt like if someone is going to spend $500+ on their cars, you might want to be treated better. Took my business somewhere else specifically because of this person. I worked in the automotive industry for many years and everyone has always been respectful and considerate. Probably why he’s at Firestone instead of a dealership
Firestone Elm St Manchester, NH.Brought my 2021 SUV to only get the Check Engine light diagnosed. My appointment was an hour behind. They were actually sending customers home because they were so behind. Anyway. They finally got me my diagnosis and sent me on my way. I had my AC on and the inside of car now smelled like fumes. I got home 4 miles later. Opened my hood and oil was literally misting everywhere. The entire engine area, lower half of windshield covered. Oil on ground in front of my house. They never put the oil cap on. It was nowhere to be found(I wasnt getting an oil change either). I made them call a tow truck and bring it back for cleaning and to make sure the engine wasnt damaged. I never got an apology, just a this is an inconvenience ahh like I was the problem. They kept it overnight until 11:30am next day. I had to call them. The underside of hood pad was still covered in oil. The vent still smells of gas like mix when air is on. Total amateurs and unprofessionslism. Also, the front counter employee probably shouldnt be Vaping in main waiting area where customers can see. I would not recommend them.. See pics.
Helped me get back on the road same day after finding out I had a flat tire and then a week later I called to get an oil change scheduled and got me in the next day.. Even changed my windshield wipers so that Im prepared for all this rain weve been getting. Everyone was so kind and very helpful. Thank You so Much!
They hit a brake line with a hammer while putting new tires on a company truck. It went in for tires. They had it for 8 days. The manager gave one lie after another. It now has a vibration in the rear. I would drive past this place with 4 flats before I would let them touch anything of mine. Is there a way to give zero stars.

I have been using Firestone for YEARS and have spent thousands of dollars across multiplevehicles.My story begins with a scheduled online appointment to have right rear axle seal replaced. Drop off this Monday 26APR21 @ 0800 (without final confirmation of the appointment). They call at the end of the day (3pm) stating they could not get it in and assured me that if I drop off tomorrow morning they will get at it first thing and take care of the seal. I say fine since the original appointment was not confirmed.Now today 27APR21 @ 0800 I drop off again. They assure me it will come in first thing. I ask of it is possible to have back by lunch and I am told they will try. I finally get a call at 2pm that it is now in the shop and they do not have the proper tool to replace the seal. I am now irritated, and what keeps this from being 1 star is that they offer a free oil change. I arrive at 4pm and the JUST completed the oil change (so it was NOT in the shop @ 2pm) and pull it in to the alignment rack for my lifetime alignment.. As I write this I am still waiting @ 4:30pm for my truck...What a waste of my valuable time. Talk about poor time management. How do you accept a job and after 2 days realize you do not have the tools for the job, make me wait to complete the basic oil change and alignment. Looks like I need to find a new place to spend my money for repairs.

If you are getting a tire rotation, mark your tires. They did not rotate my tires at my visit today, and then they lied about it. Just because it is a free service(purchased the tires there) does not mean you do not actually have to perform it. Steer clear.
Have used them for years for tires and routine maintenance, always reliable until recently. Brought my car in for inspection and oil change. Gave me the car back with only the inspection completed after two days and forgot the oil change and other items. I think Ill only be using Autofair from now on.
Tried charging me 450 dollars to fix my wipers said the part aloe was 260 dollars,I bought the part at auto parts plus for 125 and did it myself with a utube video
Scheduled a wheel alignment. They quoted me $109 for a wheel alignment. The online price was $89.99. When I mentioned this the person I spoke with on the phone mentioned that the $109 includes a year warranty and the $89.99 alignment does not. I checked the website again and the $89.99 alignment includes a year warranty!Are you going to let shady businesses do work on your car?

I called to make an appointment and was told They had an availability at 5pm for a state inspection I got there at 450pm. The guy at the front desk was nice And told me at 530 it would be 10 more minutes and my car was next in line I didn’t leave until 650pm. They gave me a coupon for a free oil change... I was there for 2 hours... I made an appointment for 5pm. At 545pm my car was finally moved into the shop but I still never left until 650. What is the point of making an appointment if I have to wait two hours for a state inspection. I 10/10 do not recommend and I most definitely will not be back waste of my time: I would have much rather they told me they didn’t have an availability then wait two hours.

Went in for brake inspection and was told I needed a caliper replaced. Ended up replacing both rear calipers and pads/rotors. Ended up spending way more than I planned to but at the end of the day my car is my whole world. Was glad they were honest with me and explained everything and gave me the option to do it or not. I did it because it needed to be done and had a good experience other than the mask requirement.
Half the mechanics are on their phones. Don’t know what there policy is but I’m sure every job it’s frowned upon. On top of that made Appt. for an alignment thru app then called to confirm it was told booked for the day and couldn’t get in for another week. Drove to Town Fair Tire took me in and was done in 20 mins. Not an hour.

Went in for a tire that was loosing air.I was then told I needed 4 new tires which is a crock I just had my car inspected by my mechanic in december and he said nothing about my tires.Told them I was allset Then I got in my car and they didnt even fill the tire.Nice guys over here I guess because I didnt want to spend 900.00 for a problem thats going to cost me a 100.00 for 1 tire.If they wanted me to pay something I gladly would have to get the air pressure to be where its suppose to be.But that didnt happen so if your looking to go here I would look otherwise.

I like these guys in general. They get the work done, keep me up to date, and keep things at a reasonable cost with discounts. I also never really feel pushed to fix something that I dont want to fix.

I couldn’t recommend them more. I have an older car and have had a few different issues with it over the last year and the mechanics at firestone have been so helpful. Today I had the pleasure of working with Bryan who identified a larger issue going on with my headlights and instead of charging me for a quick fix (that would result in more work in the long term later on) he made me aware of the issue, and is going to work ask the dealership about parts, etc. You just can’t find customer service as good as that anywhere else. I tell all my friends and family to go here, and would recommend them to anyone experiencing any sort of issue with their car, these mechanics have got your back.

Had an absolutely horrible experience. I have never had a single issue with my car until going to this Firestone.I originally went to just have four new tires put on my jeep. I went and had that done and everything seemed to be fine.About 5 or so days later I was driving to bring some stuff to my apartment I will be living at for school. The way there my car felt okay. It was not until the way back where it felt like my car was falling apart. I was unsure why my car was gradually beginning to shake more and more and pull. I drove for a little to try to get to an exit where I could pull off to get to a garage. Before I could even get off the highway a woman had the driver of the car she was in pull up in the fast lane next to me and wave their hands for me to get off of the road. I listened and pulled over. I looked under my car and at the tire I thought was causing the shaking and nothing looked weird. I got in my car and drove not even 5 ft before my car dropped. It was the other tire that had the issue. The tire completely fell off and all 5 studs had broken and the lug nuts where clearly scattered somewhere on the highway.Firestone was the last place to touch my car. When I had my car it was in a garage and no one touched it. I drove home from Firestone and then immediately to my apartment the following day.I got my car towed directly to Firestone because after calling my dad, my friends dad who works on cars and asking the tow truck driver who is also a mechanic what the issue was. They all said the same thing that the only was that this could happen is if they did not tighten the lugs on my tires because it would take me getting in a serious accident to have this happen like it did.Got it towed to Firestone and they call us accusing us of taking the tire off after them. Once we explain that there was not chance we did they are just refusing to take blame they then said that theyre not saying it was us who took it off but someone did? excuse me I would know if someone touched my car and took my tire off? also my car was in a closed in garage.They then said that they remember tightening all my lugs BUT so no one would say anything about about Firestone they would fix my tire and reimburse me for the tow that I paid for to bring my car to Firestone. and that this was all our of their curtesy. They refused to take the blame.They then told us to be patient with them while they put the tire on.My car sat at Firestone for almost TWO WEEKS while they continued to say oh sorry not today maybe _____ itll be ready until on day 13 I finally received my car, WITH FOUR NEW LIGHTS ON ON THE DASH.Yes that is correct. When we turned my car on while the tow guy came and to get it off the tow there were none of these lights on and then when I pick my car up from sitting at Firestone for two weeks when they were supposed to be fixing it it then came back with 4 lights on but apparently they saw no issue with that. If a car that is messed up because of you goes into your garage and comes out with more issue than when it went in why do you think its ok to just give me back the car and not fix these lights that came on WHEN YOU HAD MY CAR.Absolutely enraged. Yes thank you for putting my tire back on and reimbursing me money that I should have NEVER lost in the first place but did because of you. At this point we dont even want to call and argue to get them to fix the lights that they caused to come on because we do not trust them with my car. We are worried if we bring it back they may cause more issues and probably try to keep my car at the garage for another 2 weeks or maybe even month.Now I am left to shovel out money to fix their damages to my car. All I wanted was to put four new tires on my car to get me safely to my apartment at my graduate school for the fall. I did know it would cause me a terrifying experience on the highway, where I could have gotten horribly hurt or killed had that woman not advised me to pull over and also more money that couldve been going toward my education.
Professional, competent people. Quality work. A little expensive, but Id rather pay a little more for quality, reliable work. Now, as I drive, I feel confident my vehicle wont break down.
New to the area and always used Firestone back home. Dropped my car off at 8am being one of the first few cars in the lot for a brake line repair and oil change. Car wasnt looked at until close to noon time and was told at 2 PM that they wouldnt have enough time to fix it today. Didnt get my car back until 11am the next day. Steve out front was helpful and good at communicating with me but felt the wait was way too long.
Had to go on a 200 mile trip for work when I realized that morning I had a nail in my tire. Called up and Andrew in customer service was extremely understanding. He got me in ASAP and the tech was able to patch it and get me on the road quickly. The customer experience was outstanding and I will definitely be coming back.
I appreciated the five star service I received today at Firestone Complete Auto Care in Manchester, NH! Mike and Andrew kindly rescheduled my appointment to a later time that was convenient for me. But mostly were so honest and clear on the outcome of my car state inspection and oil change. Most places only quote me for full synthetic oil but they quoted me for both, and recommended what was best for my car. To top it off, they even threw in a coupon to my total amount for my benefit! I may consider their financing that they mentioned as well, considering all the perks that come with it; 6 months defferred interest on $150 or more, free tire rotations, $20 off diagnostics, etc.Mike and Andrew, I will certainly be back for the friendly and detailed service I received today. I took my truck in to get a state inspection. I knew my steering rack and valve cover gaskets needed to be replaced. They told me I should replace them, so I told them they can replace those. I arrived around 5:30pm to pick my truck up and pay. Came back out and oil was dripping from under my truck. I went back in and let them know, I popped the hood and there was power steering fluid completely covering the motor everywhere. Some guy pulled my car back in and sprayed my truck with engine bright. The guy proceeded to be on his phone and not paying attention while putting my car on the lift. One of the parts from the lift fell and almost hit my truck. The boot on the left front popped off because it wasnt on the frame properly. The guy was paying more attention to his phone than actually working. Luckily my truck didnt fall to the ground. By then I was very pissed off after this all happens. He yells, No damage! He didnt even check!THERES MORE... I came back home and checked my truck. There were 2 vacuum lines that were disconnected. They never reconnected them. Meanwhile I paid them $1,404 to do this work. You spend this kind of money and expect your car to come back in good shape. Doesnt help there were oil prints left all over my hood. I will NEVER be back there. Horrible company.

They do what needs to be done to get you in and out to move on to the next customer all while courteously explaining what the issues are to keep you safe and inspectable at reasonable prices. Call ahead and make an appointment and show up 15 minutes early. Walk over to Market Basket for a coffee and a donut and they’ll call you.
I needed snow tires for a car that I just bought. They gave me a good price and could do it the next day. I got there at my allotted time and the truck that came only brought one of the tires I needed. They sent someone to Nashua to retrieve three more. While one guy was running for the tires they put my car in the shop to get all the things done to prepare. Granted it took a little longer, but the service was excellent. I wondered why the quote was a little more than they told me over the phone, not only did Marshall tell me but he showed me!! We kept the original tires and they bagged them up and put them in the back seat....they took care to be sure to put plastic on everything and mats on the floor. When I got home and took the tires out I noticed that there were some grease stains on the car seats and I just got this car. I called Chris the manager and he told me to bring it down at my convenience and he could take them out. I went right back and within 10 minutes all the stains were out! These men (all I saw were men) were all very nice, informed and helpful. They went above and beyond and I appreciate it very much! Will go back to them with all of our three cars over and over! Thanks so much guys!

They balanced my rear tires for $25! That was a great deal, and they did it quickly and took care while doing it. Good service and fast. I also told them I had been having some noises in the rear of my car and they did a courteous check to see if I had any loose suspension part. Im definitely going back for service.
Firestone gets a 4 star because they provided me a line of credit with questionable credit rating.I will say that the service was extremely slow as I was there for 5 hours to get my tires changed and an alignment.It would appear the TPM reset didnt happen on my tired because their device wasnt new enough for the model of my car.I had to go to the dealership to get it reset.

Trying to get a car aligned, had an appointment for noon. Got there and he said I have to drop it off because theyre backed up. Claims he called and left a message, no calls, no messages, offered to show my call history.

I arrived at near closing time needing new tires, breaks and an alignment. Randy, Mike T. and Jake G. all stayed an hour after closing to fix my car! They would not leave until THEY were satisfied it was perfect. Hats off to the wonderful team at Firestone. I hoghly reccommend their service department.
Ive been coming to Firestone as a loyal customer for over 6 years. Chris, Greg, and Marshall all greet my wife and I by name and are honest. Recently my wifes car broke down and she needed a tow. She called AAA and told them she was having ti towed to Firestone. In a panic she called Firestone upset. Chris reassured her on the phone he would wait for her car to be towed. He also told my wife on the phone to make sure the tow truck driver had identification and was a member of AAA. Its so reassuring that these men truly care about their customers and are doing honest work. As a sign of over and above service, Greg washed her windows and I was able to pay over the phone. This is by far one of the best businesses in Manchester.
I wanted to relay an experience I had at Firestone in Manchester. There was a mistake made which lead to grease on the exterior of my vehicle. I called upset and the manager immediately offered to make it right. Everyone makes mistakes, few fix them. They stuck to their word and took responsibility. I am impressed. Thank you.

I have used other Firestone locations in the past and had fantastic service, so since Ive just recently moved to the area I decided to head to this location. Unfortunately, my experience was quite the opposite of what Ive come to expect. I was only looking for a battery replacement, but was told that I would also need an alternator replacement. I decided I would hold off as the cost seemed like much more than I believed this should cost. I decided to call a different Firestone location, and for the same battery and alternator was quoted $170 less. I promptly headed to that location for repairs, at which point I learned that there was actually nothing wrong with my alternator and it did not need replacing. This location had attempted to have me pay for a $450 service and part replacement that was not necessary. Firestone certainly hasnt lost my business, but this location has.
Had such a great experience there. Theyre honest, hard working, and very knowledgeable. Highly recommend!
My oil light went on & they were able to do an oil change late on a Sunday afternoon. Not too long after leaving, my car experienced excess exhaust & people motioned for me to pull over. My hood was engulfed in white smoke & it smelled like burning rubber or oil. Long story short: The cap was not put back correctly. The Mgr at Firestone was very apologetic & refunded me the cost of my tow (to RI, no less), tip to tow truck driver and the topping off of oil. I have always done business with Firestone and will continue to do so. They are a class act!
My husband and daughter stopped at the Elm St Manchester NH for rotating tires. They were backed up but Randy squeezed in and fixed the tires himself. Because of his customer service, we will definitely go back. Thank you Randy.

If you are tired of other repair shops for their lack of service, sketchy sales approach and dirty waiting rooms do yourself a favor and come to Firestone on Elm st. Ive been bringing my personal and fleet vehicles to Chris at Firestone for 9 years and even traveled to different stores as he moved around the area. Ive always appreciated his technical skills and honest approach when it came to my repairs. No one likes to spend money fixing their vehicle but from new tires to engine work I always know Chris will take good care of me. Ive always been skeptical of repair shops for their sales tactics and technicians trying to upsell needless repairs. I can say that the Firestone on Elm street is a professional shop where they care about long term relationships and delivering awesome customer service and value. Thanks for keeping me and my business on the road.
Guys tried to rip me off telling me i needed sway bars on my suv and a bunch of other things new breaks new rotors new calipers all in all bill would have exceeded $3,000.00I took it to 2 other shops for estimates they said i did not need new rotors, calipers, or sway bars just new pads and some body work when i called to ask about Firestones quote i got a run around oh we just recommended new (above mentioned) you didnt really need them to pass inspection, by sway bars we really meant break pads it is just how to system prints it. Terrible place do not go!
This place overcharges so much for the parts and labor. I needed my brakes and rotors replaced on my front axle. I hadnt realized until I had gone in to get my tires swapped, but they were right. What I didnt realize was that they mark up the parts they sell by over 100%. And then on top of that they charged $120 for 45 minutes of work. Thats $160hr. This place is a ripoff. Id recommend just about any other auto shop before you come here.

I brought my car in because the window would not roll up, and since it is a late model BMW it ended up being a complicated issue but the manager was efficient and courteous and diagnosed the problem quickly. It worked out that the fix was too expensive so I had to work on it myself, but I called around and other shops had a very similar price. They did not charge me anything for the diagnostic and did not try to upsell me on extraneous services. Excellent experience overall.

Ok, listen.brought a car in to get a estimate on rear brake lines. The estimate was $998, I asked why so much, 5 hrs labor and they bend their own lines and assemble them.I said why cant you just by the OEM lines ($24.95 each) already assembled and for this car. He couldnt give me a answer. So we towed the car back to Claremont, it cost $210 total, now tell me something, WHY????????I was told never go to a dealer because they charge you cost, but this is ridiculous..

So he was gonna look on to it.and call me.. he never called me ... so here we r day 4 and still no damn call or any info.
My car blew its rear breaks on a tow up from FL, I had AAA tow it to them at night and called them in the morning to get it fixed. I havent picked up the car yet, but based on the price, and the courtesy when I called they seem like an honest shop and I definitely recommend them and will keep them in mind for the future.
Firestone provides very good, honest service, but be prepared for it to take longer than they estimate.
I had tires replaced and front brakes done several months ago at the Manchester NH facility and during the courtesy check they removed my air filter and never put it back in. Two days later the car went into limp mode stranding my wife and two children on the highway. I had the car towed to a mechanic that eventually found that the air filter was missing. The diagnostics and labor with throttle body cleaning cost just under $300. Once I informed the Manager, Chris, what had transpired and sent him the bill he agreed to reimburse me. It has been two months of continuous calls and still no refund. He has promised a half dozen times to put in the refund and nothing has gone in yet. Every time I call he tells me it will be just another day.When I visited them on a day Chris said to come in, he slipped out to an appointment at the time he told me to come down.The manager is a weasel and the workers incompetent...AVOID!
Ended up with a broken windshield when I picked up my truck. They of course denied the damage.
