Good store for indian snacks, sweets, lentils and other stuff. They never have expired products.The vegetables are not so great but I dont blame them.There is almost no variety of fruits, but for the rest of indian stuff, like the spices and dals, its great. Im loving the fact that they are increasing their sweets variety every time I visit this place.

You can find all Indian related stuff. But I don’t have good experience on price and vegetable freshness. All stuff you find a dollar or so costlier then other stores. Most of the time vegetable looks rotten.

I was traveling from Indiana to Maine. Choose this place to buy some groceries, because we don’t have any Indian grocery store on northern Maine. Store looks fine and has variety of Indian products. Only thing I’m unhappy is, lot of packed food I bought from here were expired. I didn’t have enough time to check date while buying but realized after I reached Maine. I’ll request owner to strictly monitor the date on products they are selling.

I was so happy to find this grocery store! It’s pretty large, but they also utilize every square inch and carry so many types of food. Their fresh produce was great quality as well. I’ll definitely be back!

Patel food have mostly Indian n other Asian food you will get. They have decent prices. The store needs little bit bigger though. You need a mask during COVID. They have fresh produce, frozen food and most types of grocery of India. You can order if you wont find any.

This is one of the best family owned businesses Ive every been too. The owners are very friendly and offer fair prices on all their products. Theyre very accommodating to your every need and taking the best measures to keep the store safe during covid.Everyone in the neighborhood should come here to shop! Thanks Patel Foods for being a part of this neighborhood. Even though I came form out of town, I would definitely come here again.

My favorite grocer. My primary grocer. Unique produce you wont find anywhere. Wide array of Indian spices and products at very reasonable prices. Entire aisle of lentils. Also a large section of frozen vegetables. Everything you could possibly need to create a delicious Indian meal.

Good Indian grocery store. Youll find everything you need to make Indian dishes. The store needs more space to walk around. When it gets crowded, its hard to move your cart. They either need to move to a new location with bigger space or re-arrange their store to make sure people have space to walk around.

This is the best store for my Indian grocery shopping however, right now I am experiencing out of stock on regular items I used to buy. I am unable to find it for months they need to keep track of items which goes out of stock and assure that rack needs to be refilled again. Otherwise I would have definitely given 5/5 rating.

For an Indian store, they have pretty much everything you can ask for. Prices are decent enough. Products are of good quality. Overall happy with the experience.

This store is Patel Foods and Not Patel brothers. But equally good for indian groceries.

I used to visit so often for fresh south asian vegetables, spcies and snacks. If youre from south asian countries, I believe you will find there at least some flavor of home, thousand miles away from home!

This store has the most varied selection of Indian food & other misc products in the area. They generally dont have any meat products in the store. It gets pretty busy on the weekends, so plan accordingly.

Worse experience ever. Staff is very rude and Manager / Owner, dont ask me to give you call back. You was there, watching how rude they were talking with customers. I do not have option to give minus rating, otherwise I will give -5 ( Minus 5 ) rating.

They have pretty much of all the basic Indian/Pakistani grocery.I visited the store twice last weekend and I noticed that ladies at Cash register try to pack everything in just 1 bag regardless whether its frozen food, eggs, cookies, vegetables....... I mean no common scene to bag the same items separately........ I dont know whether its a stores policy OR the employees dont realize that they are packing for Humans.......!!!!!!!!!

Very rude customer service. Would not let me buy groceries for my aunt.My mom and I went to shop here today for some Diwali sale. My mom got a cart for our household and she had me get a cart for my aunts groceries. My aunt at the moment, due to COVID reasons, isnt able to run errands and doesnt have anyone else in her house who can do it for her. My mom being the nice lady she is, offered to shop the sale for her so she can have her dals and flours stocked for the next month or so.So we did all the shopping needed for both households and stood in a long line until it was our turn to check out. My mom went first and I was behind her. The owner came to our register and told my mom that I cant check out because she knew I was her daughter. The sales had a limit of 2 items per household. My mom told her, yes, even though shes my daughter, shes shopping for her aunt. The aunt had even given us her credit card which we told the owner as well. The owner however, wouldnt even let my mom finish and kept saying, shes your daughter so she cant buy those things. People from the same household cant buy separately. I understand that people find ways to get around those rules and its not fare to other customers, but we genuinely werent doing that.My mother and I arent the arguing type and we werent going to create a scene and hold up the line, even though the owner was embarrassing us and calling us liars basically. I rarely ever shop here, but my mom told me afterwards in the car that the owner has always been rude. I felt really bad that my mom had to go through this just because she wanted to help my aunt. I would assume stores would be more accommodating during these tough times with COVID.We will not be giving our business to Patel Foods anymore. Its just not worth the terrible treatment you receive as a customer. There are alternatives like Sai foods and Asia Grocers that have much kinder service and where I feel comfortable having my mom go.

Overall I like Patel Food for their grocery collection and quality. Giving one star because, in recent Covid 19 situation, I noticed that they have increased the prices way high of almost every item. Even after 6 months passed by the prices are still high.

Place is better than the other Indian grocery stores and do not compare or confuse it with the PATEL BROTHERS or other stores in other towns.But is good for usual stuff. They are still incorporating many things so waiting for more stuff.

Good price. I have seen people come here from downtown for their vegetables and fruits. They have good quality mutton available here. V can call and pre order and pickup here it seems. We like drumstick 🌲 leaves for gravy and stuff, its available only here at all times.

She would even bother to answer the question about a product that I couldn’t find and implied that I couldn’t find it, I have noticed this several times, I asked her a question in English and she responded in Gujarati, thinking that I know gujarati, thanks to my aunt who helped me. She always discriminate girls who wears hijab. No greeting when we entered even though she was free, she didn’t even greeted us while checking out, no smile, nothing. Hence I do not shop here anymore but at other place, where everybody is welcomed regardless of their race,ethnicity, religion and attire.Felt very unwelcoming, If you are a Muslim, who wears religious attire, make sure you take heed and speak for your rights.

This place has a wide variety of Indian products. But the cost seems to be little higher compared to some other Indian stores in our area. Still highly recommend this place.

I felt extremely unwelcome. The cashier was extremely rude; didnt greet me and then threw the receipt at me at the end of my purchase. For someone wearing hi jab I would expect better. I am sure she knows how it feels to be discriminated against. That behavior is not kind.I went in there to pick up items that I cant find in other stores.I would like to go back but am extremely apprehensive, as I dont want to be treated like I dont have the right to spend money in the store.Shame on you! I would never treat any one that way especially if they are SPENDING money.There is so much more I can say but whats the use.

Worst customer service. I live like 30 minutes away from the store so I asked my friend to buy 2 items for me. They literally told her that I have to drive 30 minutes to get whatever I want.

My one stop shop for all Indian groceries and day to day stuff. There are some rare Indian brands that you will find here, that are not available elsewhere in other Desi stores. They sell everything except meat/non vegetarian items.

Excellent grocery store especially for Pakistani/Indian groceries. You can find every spice imaginable as well as good quality vegetables, atta, basmati rice, ready-to-eat brands, etc. They also have cooking pots such as tawa for making chappatis.
