Butcher Block has excellent quality meat and they provide many other services and special requests. They have processed big game for me and can also honor special requests for certain cuts of meat. Lots of stuff they make themselves too; flavored beefsticks, jerky, brats, seasoned hamburger patties, tiger meat, pate, and salmon dip. Prices are higher than Walmart but you get what you pay for.

BEST. JERKY. EVER! Ive been eating their jerky for 20 years! I live far away now, so its not as often; but their Teriyaki recipe is unparalleled! Ive eaten jerky all over. Made jerky countless times... This stuff is simply the best. I stop every time I go back home! Keep up the good work!Edit: 11.28.20- Just made aware that they have a sweet and spicy! New favorite! Not sure when it happened, but its amazeballs!

Tiny butcher shop on Main, but excellent meat and a select supply of groceries and spices. I recommend parking behind the building and going in through the back entrance, otherwise parking is limited along Main Street.One of their most popular items is the freshly shaved meat and cheese sandwiches, made to order, and the soup of the day: no other toppings besides sauce condiments, but very inexpensive and a generous quantity of meat (if you have more bread, you can easily split your sandwich into two or three).They are very busy around holidays, so order in advance for large items.

Stopped by for my first time today and had some questions. Although I didnt have much knowledge about differences in a specific meat, Dan was very kind and took his time to educate me on what I could expect from the different cuts. Prices and services was fantastic and I plan to shop here from now on!

Was Looking for 65lbs of Ground Pork for making venison sausage.Price per pound $2.09... .50 cents cheaper per pound than 3Be.Great customer service on the phone. Saved me over $32 bucks! :) Happy. Happy. Happy.

I took in 18lbs of deer sausage to get processed. I realize that is a small amount, but we process the rest ourselves and was just hoping to get some deer sticks made. When I went in the guy was extremely rude, and made me feel like I was wasting his time. Fast forward 3 months and I get a call from them say my meat is done and the total is over $500!! My husband called them and they tell us that our 100 lbs of meat is done. He explains that we only brought in 18lbs and that there is no what that could be ours. They let us know they will call us back. 2 weeks later, no call, so my husband calls again, same story our 100 lbs is ready. He asks for the manager to call him back. Another week goes by and we get a call saying our meat is ready. My husband calls again and they tell us our total is over $500 and its still the 100 lbs of meat! Not only are we convinced we are not going to get back our actually deer meat that we brought in, which was some very lean meat, I wonder who is missing their 100 lbs of meat. We are so disappointed in our experience with Butcher Block, since weve always enjoyed their meat. Customer service needs some serious adjustments before we ever go or refer people here again!

I used to buy meat from Wal-Mart (for price) until I was talked into trying this place by a co-worker. I will never buy meat from a Grocery Store again. The difference in quality is amazing, it cooks better, lasts longer, and tastes better. Price is slightly above a Grocery Store but worth every penny.

Very good quality in meats. Good customer service!It would be so much better if they sold cuts to grill. Fajitas, tablitas, marinated steak. A place is needed in this region.But it really is a recommended place.
