Cute bookstore with a great selection, including staff reviews under some of the books. Due to COVID only 4 people are allowed in at a time. Staff were super polite and the store was well organized and clean.

I love books although I dont buy them too often. When I do buy books, I like to support local bookstores. I love Pages! It is a fun and friendly place to go and they are happy to order/pre-order books for me if they don’t have it. I really want to support our local businesses right now, so I decided to order a few books and take advantage of their curbside pickup (we are still isolating as much as possible). They were so helpful! A book I had pre-ordered a few months ago was released but they held onto it until my other pre-order was released and the rest of my order was complete so I could pick everything up together. When they called to let me know my books were in, they offered to drop them off for us so we wouldn’t even have to go out! Such great service, Already planning some more books to add to my library.

My kids love going here. Great little local book store. Has all the latest books for their school curriculum and even new best sellers for mom and dad. Super local business!

This is so much more than a bookstore! It has so much fun stuff! I can and have spent hours picking up and looking at different things. New books, uses books, book clubs, cards, journals, pens, art supplies, maps, and all sorts of random things.This is a great store for me to pick up a gift for almost everyone I know.Be sure to check out the store events calendar! They usually have some pretty cool guest authors.

A well organized, small, quaint independent bookstore in the heart of Manhattan Beach. Went there for a signing and the staff was very inviting and the event was well organized. Huzzah for independent bookstores!

I used to work here when it was Chattertons. This bookstore feels like a community of writers and artists got together to share their work. The selection is eclectic and the author events are amazing and intimate.

Great bookstore spot in a prime part of Manhattan Beach that has a great selection and helpful service. Bought a couple books and it reminded me how a nice bookshop is more than just buying a book, like I do online.

Pages is a delight–a bookstore with Space and science books, graphic novels, a terrific kids section, and wonderful folks behind the counter who know how to talk books! Well worth seeking out.

Its been so long since weve had a real bookstore. Just go there to see what that is. Manhattan Beach was the home of the original Either/Or Bookshop, which had been a bookshop before in that location, in the 1950s -- it might be the same building the pancake place on Highland occupies. Another small bookstore and stationers was on S. Side of MB Blvd W. Of valley/ardmore E. of Highland: I could get another Nancy Drew Mystery there, the reissued 1930s-40s ones. Right there was a music store with records and one or two listening booths. This bookstore reminded me of the old one on Highland long ago, the bookstore around here: it even got Tropic of Cancer as soon as it became legal to read it in the US. Pages is in the same geographic and intellectual realm, with an emphasis on locally relevant, as if the Feng Shui of the long-ago energy pulled bookstore energy up out of the earth just offset a bit to the North.Its a spiritual time-travel.Check it out.Park away from there and walk. Its better that way. Parking, looking for the shop from a car along that stretch of road can be hectic and get you out of sorts. The walk is pretty and relaxing, once you find a place to park. (Many of the E-W streets above there are walk streets only).

Lovely little bookstore a stones throw from the ocean.

One of my all-time favorite bookstores, but you must love art and architecture-related subjects to really appreciate this store. My Wife is eternally resigned to the fact that I spend several hours at Hennessey & Ingalls whenever we go there.
